KAZUMI in Trier

Wir waren anlässlich eines Geburtstags während eines Wochenendausflugs hier essen. Da wir vorher wussten, dass die Sushi-Gerichte recht teuer sind, wurden wir von Kazumi keinesfalls enttäuscht! Das Mochi-Eis und die Schokoladenmousse waren ebenfalls unglaublich lecker.

So soll asiatisches Essen sein. Frisch zubereitet, geschmackvoll und schnell am Tisch. Der freundliche Kellner hat den Besuch dort sehr positiv abgerundet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Banjo Bowl/ Rindfleisch 2. Kazumi's Red Curry/ Barbarei Entenbrustfilet 3. Kuzumi's Teriayki Plate/ B. Entenbrustfilet 4. Kazumi's Udon Plate / B.E. wie oben. Grosse Portionen, deshalb keine Vorspeise. Hat super gemundet. Das Fleisch gut gebraten, die Saucen lecker, Der Salat ohne Dressing. Gut so, kann sich dann in der Schüssel nicht vermischen. Ein Erlebnis, kommen gern wieder! Preislich okay. Ca. 30 Euro / Person inkl. Getränke. Keine Fotos.

Tolles Restaurant….mal anderes Essen. Tisch sollte besser reserviert werden. Das Lokal kann auch mit Aufzug erreicht werden. Das Essen super lecker…sehr freundlicher Service. Preis ist dafür angemessen.

In Kazumi gibt es einen sehr schönen Ausblick und die Frühlingsrollen und die Dips waren Weltklasse.Wir haben auch sehr leckeres Sushi bestellt.Sehr freundliches Personal.

Heute Sushi zum Mitnehmen bestellt (King's Choice). 5 Sterne! Einfach perfekt, nicht zu viel Reis, viele verschiedene Fischsorten (roh und gekocht), viel Gemüse – einfach hervorragend. Exzellentes Sushi. Nicht zu viel Reis, eine große Auswahl an rohem und gekochtem Fisch und verschiedene Gemüsesorten. Ich habe in Trier selten, wenn überhaupt, so gutes Sushi gegessen!

Wir haben im Kazumi in Trier köstlich gegessen. Das Hühnercurry war sehr aromatisch und auch die Rindfleisch-Bantu-Bowl war wirklich lecker. Die Portionen sind großzügig, sodass man definitiv etwas für sein Geld bekommt. Außerdem ist das Personal sehr freundlich, was den Besuch noch angenehmer macht. Das Restaurant ist zudem sehr sauber und hat eine gemütliche, angenehme Atmosphäre. Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn Sie in Trier sind.

Wir hatten 2 verschiedene Gerichte und beide waren herausragend. Auch das Sushi sah sehr lecker aus. Das werden wir beim nächsten mal testen. Das Essen war qualitativ sehr hochwertig und geschmacklich wirklich ganz weit oben angesiedelt. Der Preis ist hier wirklich gerechtfertigt. Tolles Restaurant und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hier eine authentische Bewertung in deinem Stil: ⸻ War mittags im Kazumi in Trier und war ehrlich positiv überrascht. Das Sushi war wirklich spitze. Frisch, sauber verarbeitet, geschmacklich auf den Punkt. Keine Standard-Massenware, sondern hochwertige asiatische Küche mit Anspruch. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Was das Ganze zusätzlich besonders macht: die Lage. Besser geht es kaum. Direkt in der Fußgängerzone mit richtig schöner Aussicht. Gerade mittags ein perfekter Spot, um kurz rauszukommen, gutes Essen zu genießen und trotzdem mitten im Geschehen zu sein. Für mich definitiv eine klare Empfehlung, wenn man in Trier asiatisch auf hohem Niveau essen möchte.

Ein super leckeres Sushi. Wir kommen mindestens einmal im Monat her und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Der Fisch ist super frisch, die Mitarbeitenden sind total nett und zuvorkommend und wenn man am Fenster zum Hauptmarkt raus sitzt (sollte man bei der Onlinereservierung angeben) hat man einen wunderbaren Blick. Wir können das Kazumi uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Das Essen ist wie immer sehr lecker und ich war bisher immer zufrieden. Leider ist mir heute auf dem Heimweg die Papiertüte eingerissen, weil das gesamte Essen in einer Tüte verpackt war und offenbar zu schwer war. Dadurch ist alles auf den Boden gefallen und ich konnte es nicht mehr essen, ein Gericht war dadurch komplett verloren. Wäre schön, wenn bei schwereren Bestellungen besser auf die Verpackung geachtet wird (z. B. auf mehrere Tüten verteilt), denn geschmacklich ist sonst alles top. Schade um das Essen.

Grundsätzlich gut hier gegessen und eine schöne Zeit verbracht aber dieses 2 Stunden Modell sollte abgeschafft werden denn es zerstört den Sinn der Gastfreundlichkeit und man fühlt sich abserviert.

31.01.26, abends: Sehr, sehr leckeres Essen, freundlicher, zügiger Service. Das Restaurant ist groß, es war sehr laut, was Gespräche schwierig machte aber es waren eben viele Gäste da. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein wirklich gutes und anständiges Restaurant in Trier. Nicht das günstigste, aber jeden Cent wert. Eine gute Weinkarte und hervorragendes Essen. Unbedingt ausprobieren!

Mein Salat wurde ohne Dressing serviert. Auf Nachfrage nach Dressing entgegnete mir der Kellner, dass sie keins hätten und ich ihn so essen solle. Mein Tofu wurde nicht mariniert. Alles in allem war mein Essen sehr langweilig und nicht raffiniert. Ich finde die angebotenen Produkte viel zu teuer für das, was man bekommt. Leider darf man auch keine Hunde mit ins Restaurant bringen.

Ich fand den Service sehr nett, wurde sofort bedient und der Mittagstisch war super- hier gehe ich nicht so oft hin, weil ich meinen kleinen Hund nicht mitnehmen kann. Aber das Essen ist wirklich gut und kann es daher nur empfehlen.

We were a large group and received very attentive and friendly service. I had the udon noodles with sesame-crusted tuna – the food was so good! The orange blossom drink was also delicious! Both had that certain something extra, something you don't find everywhere and can't easily make at home :)! I can highly recommend this restaurant! The only minor downside for me personally is that dogs aren't welcome, but of course I'm not deducting a star for that :)!

Delicious food, great selection and lovely atmosphere

I was really annoyed. The prices are outrageous – this has nothing to do with normal, inflated sushi prices anymore. At another restaurant in Trier with the same menu, you pay half the price. The value for money is simply out of whack. It's tasty, but it's not fine dining, yet they pretend to be. It's just a rip-off and incredibly frustrating. It's a shame, I'd like to support local businesses and restaurants, and I know everything is getting more expensive, but these aren't reasonable prices; they're just lining their pockets. The reservation system, which means you can't stay as long as you want with a €200 bill, is the icing on the cake. We had just gotten up and they were already seating new people. Rushing through breakfast and ripping people off – unbelievable.

The food was very good and fresh, but unfortunately the portions weren't enough. We had salmon sushi as a starter and beef curry as a main course. It's too expensive for the amount offered 🙁

We spontaneously stopped by Kazumi for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The meal was a little feast for the senses: crunchy sushi, udon noodles, and gyoza, all fresh, delicately seasoned, and prepared with palpable love. You can tell that care and dedication go into every detail here—from the taste to the service. The server was warm, attentive, and attentive without being intrusive. A place where you leave not only full, but also nourished. ✨🍣🙏🏼

Zero stars, we had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. After placing our order, we had to wait over an hour while guests around us who had arrived later were already receiving their food. Every time we asked, the server assured us it would only take "another two minutes," but the food simply didn't arrive. This service is simply unacceptable and really spoiled our entire visit.

We had dinner here. The ambiance is really nice, although the tables are a bit close together. The service was friendly, but we were only spoken to at the beginning and end of the meal. The beef was unfortunately a bit dry and lacked flavor, the vegetables were quite sweet for my taste, and the fish soup was a bit greasy. The decor is very appealing, but the food tastes more like that of a regular restaurant. The drinks, however, were very tasty! 2/5 Food

The experience at Kazumi (Grabenstrasse 6, Trier) was excellent. The service was very, very good, with friendly staff attentive to every detail. The food was truly delicious, with fresh and balanced flavors. The sushi was simply spectacular, the kind you can enjoy in every bite, fresh and full of nuances. The main course was also very filling, with a combination of ingredients that surprised with both flavor and presentation. Without a doubt, this is a place I will return to and recommend to anyone looking for quality, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere in Trier.

We walked past once. Since the restaurant is on the first floor, it's easy to miss. We had the starter for two (sharing is caring), and the dishes Kazumi's Teriyaki Plate with duck and one with shrimp. We had a very tasty meal in a quiet atmosphere.

The Vietnamese waiter 🇻🇳😊 and another employee 👍 are still top-notch – respect to you 🙏 – but unfortunately, you can't be blamed for the boss's new "money is everything" policy 💶👩‍💼. New to the lineup: a "flying waiter" 🛫🍽️ – the kind who roams from restaurant to restaurant 🚶‍♂️➡️🍜➡️🍣 – and is probably starting his career as a rude person here 😏👏. It fits perfectly with the new mood: zero charm, 100% rip-off 💸. And then the kicker 💥🌶️: We ask nicely – like everywhere else in the world 🌏 – for some chili 🌶️. In any normal Asian restaurant ✅: free, like salt 🧂 and pepper 🌶️ in Germany. Here ❌: €2️⃣ for a single chili pepper 🌶️ 🤯💰. How does that appear on the bill 🧾? Probably not at all 🤷‍♂️. Result: We're out 🚪✌️. A restaurant that alienates regular customers like that 🗑️ shouldn't be surprised if word gets around 📢 and the competition 😈🍜🍣 claps their hands with joy 👏🔥. Too bad 😢 – Kazumi, you used to be really good. Now you're just an example of how not to do it 📉🤦‍♂️.

So disappointed for the money you spend at this restaurant, €40-50 per person. You can go elsewhere with much better quality and service. ————— An unprofessional restaurant that made the wait for food too long, despite the light crowd. The tall, thin employee was very rude when asked why the food was taking so long. The quality of the food is too high for the price. Or is there racism here because I'm Asian? What a shame for this restaurant. At the very least, they should learn to respect their customers.

Salmon rice cakes are the best thing on the menu! Also Tuna tatar is delicious! Cocktails are great too, especially basil smash.

The first impression couldn't be better. If you get your table on one side of the restaurant, you'll have an interesting view of the city center. On the other side, you'll see the outdoor terrace with a beautiful view of the cathedral. The dark green decor makes it seem like a hybrid of an Asian restaurant and nature. About the food: The starter was a mini bao burger with fried shrimp. The ingredients were very fresh, the bao bun soft and fluffy... Everything was done right here. The side dish of homemade pickled onions is sweet and adds a varied flavor. Rounding off a simple and delicious starter. For the main course, the teriyaki plate with tuna steak in a sesame coating was absolutely convincing. The fresh cooked vegetables as the base of the plate with the homemade teriyaki sauce were certainly impressive. The classic Asian-style sesame rice (in terms of consistency and preparation) mixes well with the dish (just as it does when eaten dry). I would describe "this" as a high-quality dish where everything was done right. Then comes the tuna steak in a sesame coating... simply a dream. The sesame coating is seared crispy and truly delicious. The inside of the tuna steak is perfectly prepared (precisely cooked to bring out the maximum flavor). This transformed the high-quality main course into a "very tasty/special main course." 5 stars

Highly recommended restaurant! The sushi selection is truly extensive, and everything was incredibly delicious – the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The Vietnamese rice noodle soup was also excellent: a large portion, flavorful broth, firm rice noodles, and fresh shrimp and fish. The service was very warm and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!

DELICIOUS SUSHI! Tastes very fresh and even the decoration looks great. Location does not seem that great at first sight, but upstairs there is a possibility to eat outside, with a view of the church towers!

I would especially like to highlight the attentive service. Without me having to say anything, two different waiters pointed out to me that several dishes contained ingredients that I probably shouldn't eat due to my pregnancy. I was pleasantly surprised by this. The food was delicious. We sat on the terrace overlooking Trier Cathedral.

Hi folks, tested this japanese type asian restaurant in Trier: Been 2 people, sat inside. Their concept is "asian fusion cuisine". Ordered wakame salad as appetizer and spicy green curry duck breast as main meal. Food was really nice indeed, though on the quite expensive side: Expect 60€ per adult for a standard 3-course *if* you stay with softdrinks. Add regular wine or japanese beer to easily beat this amount. Inconveniently located in pedestrian zone, better leave your car in a car park away. Service a bit on the slow side. If you look for a value japanese place, clearly pick elsewhere... i've seen better options in this area. If you plan going anyway, i suggest their curry, as quite some reviewers have done before, they seem popular specially for that...... Thanks for reading.

Very delicious food. Beautifully decorated restaurant. Very friendly staff. I found the dessert a bit "small and simple" for the price, but that hardly mattered compared to the rest of the menu.

The place is on the second floor of a building, that is why we just realise it even thiugh we pass by the street quite often. The service is ok, the food is nice. The portion is big. Probably for children’s menu, the variation can be added. Overall it is a nice experience.

Best Hungarian service and best food in Trier!!

Truly exceptionally good—I've rarely had such good Asian food. The homemade curry is truly outstanding. The service also leaves nothing to be desired. A fantastic experience! It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it.

We stopped in spontaneously for lunch and didn't regret it. Very tasty curry, with a pleasant slight spiciness, and a delicious fruit cocktail to go with it. The ambiance and service were also top-notch. Perfect if you're out and about in the pedestrian zone at lunchtime.

No. The price of the dessert was completely excessive at 9 euros! The addition of fruit or berries listed on the menu was a red currant and three small blueberries. When I brought it up, they admitted that they had run out of fruit, but charged the full amount. No goodwill. This is not how you should treat customers. A no go for me, which is why I won't be appearing there again, especially since there are better Asian restaurants in Trier.

Very good lunch at a great price/performance.

Absolute recommendation! This is truly the best Asian food I have ever eaten. The curry was slightly spicy, but spicy and not just burning in the mouth. Lots of different vegetables in it and the chicken fillet had a very thin, deliciously seasoned and crispy skin around it. The sushi is so fresh, not even the tuna had its - actually so common - companion, the intense smell and in general the fish melts in your mouth like butter. They also have a really good espresso martini!☺️ Definitely again❤️

Breaded chicken was almost raw and smelled bad, inedible. I complained and got a new meal straight away. The quality of the meat was very poor and the sauce was totally over salted.

We visited Trier for 4 days and ate at Kazumi twice during this time because we liked it so much. We particularly enjoyed the vegetarian tempura rolls as a main course, but our starters, summer rolls with shrimp and tempura vegetables, were also very tasty. The homemade lemonades and iced teas were also very good, although a little sweet. The service was friendly, unfortunately a bit slow on our first visit, but even more attentive on our second visit.

Very good Asian cuisine. Fresh ingredients. Fast and friendly service. You sit relatively close to the neighboring table, but there is still a nice atmosphere (window front facing the pedestrian zone and terrace recommended).

There's actually nothing to criticize. That's how you do it. The waitresses are friendly, attentive and competent. The food is prepared with fresh, good ingredients, clean and, above all, delicious. The price/performance ratio is also great. It's really nice how Trier as a location is clearly strengthened here.

The food was really delicious and athentic. We had the chicken with red curry and tofu with udon noodles and both dishes wer perfectly served and very tasty. Absolut worth it to try this restaurant in the center of Trier. You may have to wait a while to get a table but its worth it. Staff was very friendly and helpful too !
