Great! We drove 20 km here, according to reviews it was inviting and we wanted to have our own experience. The food was simply delicious and the prices were very reasonable. The four of us had different things on the table and we were all happy with our orders. The only criticism is that the soup cups can be a bit bigger. Cleanliness cannot be overlooked throughout the store, which is commendable. We will definitely come several more times.

I was impressed by this shop because of the large selection of daily specials. But these dishes are actually the heart of Turkish cuisine. Gaziantep in particular, where the owner comes from, is very well known for this. The warmth and joy that you really enjoyed it shows how much he enjoys cooking. The 40 km were worth it

We wanted to eat a delicious soup and ordered a lentil soup for just under €10 and a mantis soup for just under €11. The portions didn't even fill a normal bowl... They arrived in small packaging... in my opinion, a disgrace for the price. Regardless, the soup doesn't really taste that good :( but for the price I would have expected a normal-sized soup. What a shame!

Today I was lucky enough to end up at Kaya’s Turkish food restaurant. (through the good reviews on Google) You could write a lot. I recommend everyone to go there once to eat and never forget it again!

In short, really really tasty. Now in detail: I had a kebab plate 4/5 stars, fries good, salad good+ and the meat, simply great. Pide with Pastırma 4.5/5 stars just really good, highly recommended. Köfte in an orbaginen coating with rice, rice 3.5/5 was a bit too sweet for me personally, probably a bit too much butter and the orzo (Şehriye) a bit too cooked. The best for last: The Köfte in the Orbaginen coat 5/5 absolutely great, really, really good (It's all my personal opinion, especially the rice thing.) Conclusion: Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Waiting time 5/5 Price 4/5 Food 4.5/5 I can only recommend it

This is the most delicious döner restaurant in Essen. I'm especially sick of the bread. When you order something, be sure to order a large one. You won’t regret it.

The service and cleanliness in the kitchen are very commendable. The dishes in and of themselves are also highly recommended. However, I do not recommend kebab because this is not a yaprak kebab, but a minced skewer (probably with phosphate) in which there may be cartilage. The dishes Ali Nazik (photo attached) and Beyti Kebab are definitely recommended. When making Beyti Kebab, you should insist that the skewer is well cooked.

I would like to give you feedback on our last visit to your restaurant, as we unfortunately had some unpleasant experiences. My son and I ordered a Dürüm and two drinks. Unfortunately, the Dürüm was very small, which disappointed us. In addition, an employee wanted to clear away my drink even though it wasn't yet empty. A very unpleasant situation arose when leaving the restaurant. My son had his apple spritzer in the deposit bottle and I had a can in my hand. The employee wanted to take it away from us because of the deposit. Only after a discussion were we finally allowed to take the bottles and cans with us. It was particularly unpleasant for me that they tried to take the bottle away from my son even though there was still something left in it. I would like to note that the prices of drinks should be clearly and correctly marked, including the deposit amount. This way misunderstandings can be avoided. I hope that my feedback can help improve the service so that such situations do not occur in the future.

I don't normally eat kebab - it always makes me sick and I've stayed away from it for all these years. Sometimes it happened that I gave the kebab a chance once a year, which I always quickly regretted. Because I always got sick after every kebab. I came across Kaya's Turkish Food by chance and wanted to give it a chance. For the first time I actually didn't feel sick after eating the kebab plate. It tastes very good and I also like eating the special fries here. Now I'm there often and like to pick up a kebab box and sometimes a kebab plate. The dessert Firinsütlac is also my favorite and it tastes very good. I'm glad I found Kaya's Turkish Food. Hopefully it will always stay this tasty. The owners and all the employees are very polite and friendly. Who wouldn't want to buy their food there?

The shop looks good. The service too. But the food is bad. The Adana Kebap tasted little like meat. More of a mix between a little meat and a lot of something else. The seasoning was to cover that. My recommendation for the shop owner: the food for €16 is expensive enough to use real meat...it's not worth saving.

Our absolute favorite snack bar/restaurant. The food always tastes great, everything is fresh and the people are very friendly.

First of all: Kaya's is a really great snack for my lunch break and I or we eat there often. Very friendly, the food is delicious and so far there is no reason to complain. However, today I found a sign saying that the usual card payment is now only permitted from €10. So far this has been possible without any problems. Since I can't pick up money during my short lunch break, I'll probably have to eat somewhere else in the future. Change that quickly, it's not up to date! Therefore only three stars, although the food and friendliness actually deserve five.

Minimally better than 0815. First of all: 2 stars because I had two short hairs in the meat in the kebab plate. A no go, hence 2 stars. Now to the product: Meat was a run-of-the-mill skewer, on the slightly fatty kind. Fairly seasoned. Tzatziki was good and fresh, fries seasoned quite well and not too soggy or too crispy. Salad could have been a little fresher. Portion: Definitely too small for the price. In terms of portion size, the kebab plate should be €3-4 cheaper, at least compared to the competition. If you are in the area and the hair was an exception (which I really hope), then you can definitely stop by here. Otherwise there are kebab stalls with the same standard nearby, if not better. Especially in terms of price/performance. If you want something “decent”, you should go to Altendorf.

Clean and bright snack bar with a few tables. Staff makes a friendly impression. My first and probably last visit. Ordered İskender plate to take away. Meat was so heavily seasoned that you couldn't taste anything else. Pictures and reviews here looked really great, but I threw out my food halfway through. Given the price-performance ratio, you are better served with a restaurant.

Ambience: The ambience was extremely appealing with modern furniture, comfortable seating and clean tables, which created a pleasant atmosphere. Selection of dishes: The variety of dishes was impressive, especially the changing house dishes provided variety. The chicken skewer was particularly delicious, with tender meat and an attractive presentation on the plate. Prices: Prices were average, but totally justified considering the quality and service. Parking: On the weekend it was easy to find a parking space nearby, which made the journey pleasant. Overall, I can fully recommend Kaya's Turkish Food.

Sehr guter Laden und sehr lecker

Despite mentioning "gluten free options" on their website, the staff member who served us did not know the phrase in English or German. Unfortunately, this resulted in my 'gluten-free' meal coming with bread on top. When this was pointed out, and that the rice pilaf had pasta, the staff member appeared very confused. When the manager was sought by the now-upset staff member (they really want to make their customers happy), the manager seemed just as confused about what glutenfrei or gluten free mean. Not suitable for coeliacs or those with allergies but may be a great choice for fad-dieting gluten free people.

Alles was angeboten wird kann man mit Genuß essen. Einfach fantastisch, immer wieder sehr lecker alles. Danke Ömer und Co.

Vor Ort mag es anders sein, bestellt fanden wir es nicht besonders gut Hähnchenspieße mit Bulgur. 17,50 Euro. Gerade Mal ausreichende Portion. Fleisch vielleicht 150 Gramm. Allerdings war das Fleisch gut. Bulgur war OK, aber nix dolles. Dipps waren OK. Salat OK. Alles leider lauwarm Adanakebap mit Reis und Salat. Adanak ausgesprochen trocken, Reis war "normal".. also nix dolles. Portion ausreichend. Aber auch da ziemlich teuer, dipps waren Standard. Auch hier alles lauwarm und zu trocken. Salat geschmacklich nicht passend. Lt. Bekannter vor Ort um Klassen besser. Nettes Ambiente, gute Beratung und Wahlmöglichkeiten vor Ort. Sie war auch enttäuscht und wird nicht mehr bestellen, nur noch vor Ort. Schade.

Meine beste Freundin und ich waren vor Kurzem zufälligerweise dort gewesen und bestellen jetzt wöchentlich zum abholen! 1. Der Döner ist mega Lecker, das Brot krosti und gar nicht auf den Magen sitzend (Qualität vorprogrammiert)! Die Cocktailsauce und Ezme schmecken sehr gut. 2. Nette, liebe Bedienung und 3. SEHR SAUBER! Ich fahre gleich meine nächste Bestellung abholen :)

Na een lang rondlopen op der Spiel in de Messehallen konden we wel een goed restaurant gebruiken. We hadden niet helemaal in de gaten dat het een anackbarahtige uitstraling had op het eerste ook, maar er stond netjes een tafel gereserveerd voor 6 personen. Drinken mochten we zelf uit de koeling pakken en het eten werd aan tafel opgenomen en langsgebracht. De bediening was enorm vriendelijk, en gezellig en we voelden ons (ondanks onze eerdere indruk) echt warm onthaald en welkom. Het eten wordt prachtig opgediend en smaakt net zo lekker als het eruit ziet (zie de foto's van anderen hier op Google van gerechten). Op de achtergrond liepen vrienden/familie met kleine kindjes in en uit, heel gemoedelijk en familiaal. Ik raad je zeker aan hier te gaan eten als je op zoek bent naar lekker eten, of je nou uit eten gaat met wat vrienden, of gewoon honger hebt en even wat wilt komen eten. Zoals de jongeman achter de balie al zei: 'we koken vanuit ons hart en dat is wat je proeft', en ik kan hem niet meer dan gelijk geven. Voor de eigenaar: hartelijk dank voor de gezellige avond en het heerlijke eten!

Viele leckere gerichte zur Auswahl mit Schwerpunkt Küche aus Gaziantep. Gaziantep ist von UNESCO zur Weltweit bedeutendsten gastronomischen Städte ausgezeichnet. Von mir 5*****. wir kommen wieder.

Sehr leckerer Döner das Dönerfleisch wird selbst hergestellt und die Beilagen sind auch von guter Qualität! Der Dönerteller mit Pommes ist auch Glutenfrei auch für Zöliakie geeignet (Fleisch und Pommes gf) in der Fritteuse wird nur Pommes frittiert. Bitte hier nur auf Kontaminationen einen Hinweis geben dann wird drauf geachtet.

Sehr leckere Gerichte, unglaublich sympathisch und zuvorkommend, ein wirklich sehr tolles und sauberes Ambiente. Wer etwas gutes Essen und eine gute Zeit mit den liebsten verbringen möchte ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Meine Empfehlung möchte ich hier ganz klar ausschreiben.

Nachtrag: juli 2023 In den letzten zwei Monaten noch zwei mal da gewesen und nur noch Fragezeichen über den Kopf. Nichts mehr außergewöhnlich. Der Döner schmeckte wie irgendwie alle, so nichtssagend . Mein Köfte Teller war absolut zusammen geworfen. Das leider zwei mal hintereinander. Schade,dafür lohnt sich die Anfahrt nicht mehr...
