My wife and I found this restaurant through Too Good To Go and had a very good meal there. It was very tasty and delicious. The first impression was very good and left nothing to be desired, the restaurant was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly. We decided to go out to eat there so we could try out and get to know the other dishes. The initial skepticism gave way to the deliciousness of the food and the friendliness of the restaurant's personality. You should know everything else for yourself

Very very tasty food. The meat is tender and fried to perfection. Very nice staff and a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. We've been here many times, but after reopening it seems better than ever. See you next week.

Ordered the mixed grill, and while most of the items were tasty, the portion sizes were smaller compared to other nearby restaurants. Additionally, despite a sign at the entrance stating that all types of card payments are accepted, I was told they only accept cash when it came time to pay. There is an ATM just outside, but it’s not from my bank, so withdrawal fees apply. It was also inconvenient to leave, withdraw money, and return just to settle the bill.

We were there for a birthday dinner. 14 people, a considerable bill! Zero service, in response to our comment that the rice was unsalted and overcooked, the waitress commented: well, tastes are different. A rotten salad that was also not seasoned at all. Definitely never again. It's a shame, it used to be a good restaurant with good food

We had dinner with the family at TAVA today. All the dishes were excellently prepared, the staff was very friendly and fulfilled all wishes. The prices are justified for the high quality of the dishes. We will be eating here more often in the near future.

I can say that it is one of the addresses of the restaurants in Essen/Altendorf for quality service and food, it is a nice place for breakfast (spread) or other meals 👍 If you are lucky, you can find a parking space on the road or in a side street.

Very nice clean restaurant. We all enjoyed the food too. The dish Adana Kebap was delivered on a hot lava stone. This meant you could enjoy the hot meal in peace and quiet.

A very beautifully designed restaurant in the middle of Altendorf. Great ambience. Warm atmosphere and super friendly owners and staff. We were there on a Thursday lunchtime, so there wasn't much going on. The food was very tasty and visually appealing. Everything perfectly seasoned and prepared. We had a grill twller for two people. The starter dips were delicious and the flatbread was warm and fluffy. A small salad on the side. The grilled meat came to the table sizzling hot. Different sorts. Plus rice. Everything tasted excellent.

The Tava is a very nice cozy restaurant. The food is enchantingly good, especially the salad :) and meat dishes. We are regular guests at Tava. The food is not comparable to other restaurants we have eaten at. The food makes you more than full. The prices are more than worth it for the wonderful food and nice waiters. The food wasn't of the best quality, but it was good. Unfortunately, the veal, for example, was very tough and lava bread could be served with a grill skewer in the future.

My fiancé and I were pretty hungry after baby shopping and googled for well-rated restaurants nearby. We decided on the Tava and didn't regret it. We were there for the first time and can only leave positive feedback. The service, the ambience and the food are a dream. We'd love to come back! But this time with the whole family. The prices are more than justified for the quality of the ingredients. The food was also very nicely prepared. Always my pleasure!

The first impression is rather positive, the restaurant was well filled when I visited and the atmosphere was relaxed. The bread that was served with the starter tasted a solid 8 out of 10. By the way, the starter wasn't disappointing either and was enjoyable with the bread. Unfortunately the main course did not live up to the standard of the starter. My chicken plate was dry and only tasted a 5 out of 10. It had clearly been in the heat for too long. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the rice because it was cold. I'm hesitant to try the main courses again, but I think everyone deserves a second chance. As a snack, for a small or even a big hunger, I would visit the restaurant again for the bread and the starter.

Schönes Lokal mit leckerem Essen und nettem Personal. Alles in allem alles gut. Grillteller war vergleichsweise wenig aber lecker. Meze mit frischem warmen Brot und ein gemischter Salat war Geschenk des Hauses.

Wir hatten gestern das Vergnügen, das bisher beste türkische Restaurant zu besuchen - und ich kann nur sagen, dass es absolut fantastisch war! Von Anfang bis zum Ende Zunächst einmal möchte ich die unglaublich freundlichen Mitarbeiter erwähnen. Sie waren äußerst zuvorkommend und hatten immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Ihre Gastfreundschaft und Aufmerksamkeit waren außergewöhnlich, was unseren Besuch zu einem angenehmen Erlebnis machte. Die Qualität des Fleisches war perfekt. Die Vielfalt der angebotenen Speisen war wirklich beeindruckend und es gab für jeden Geschmack etwas Passendes. Sowohl die Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen als auch der Nachtisch waren super lecker und wurden mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Besonders beeindruckend fand ich auch, wie reibungslos und fehlerfrei unsere große Gruppe (16 Personen) bedient wurde.Jeder bekam nahezu gleichzeitig die Gerichte und die Wünsche jedes Gastes wurden sorgfältig berücksichtigt. Alles in allem kann ich dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir werden dieses Restaurant garantiert öfter besuchen.

Das Tava Restaurant besuchen wir immer wieder gerne. Das Ambiente ist sehr toll und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Alle Mitarbeiter und Kellner sind sehr freundlich und besonders auch die Kinder werden sehr wohlwollend und fürsorglich umsorgt, sodass sich groß und klein sehr wohl fühlen. Das Essen schmeckt immer sehr gut und man wartet nicht lange auf sein Essen. Egal was man bestellt, es war immer wieder sehr zufrieden stellend. Sehr schickes Restaurant Familiär sowohl auch für ein schickes Dinner geeignet Kellner haben immer ein lächeln im Gesicht, Grill Spezialitäten werden schön angerichtet und auf Heißen stein platten serviert. Die Gerichte schmecken auch sehr gut. Preis Leistungsverhältnis kann man sich nicht beschweren top Man hat nur eventuell probleme einen Parkplatz zu finden.

Es ist alles weiß gestrichen für mich ist das zu kühl. Das Essen und der Service sehr gut, kann ich nur empfehlen.

Wir (meine Familie und ich) können uns nicht beklagen. Suuuper Leckeres Essen, sehr reichhaltig und frisch. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam und nimmt sich Zeit für die Gäste. Einzige Kleinigkeit; WC ist sehr kalt (Temperatur).

Wir waren mit der gesamten Familie dort essen. Kellner sind schlecht, das Essen kommt viel zu spät und hat hat auch nicht geschmeckt. Preise sind laut Karte okay, aber unsere Rechnung hat nicht hingehauen. Die haben Essen in Rechnung gestellt, die wir nicht erhalten haben. Sehr schade

Das Tava ist wirklich mal eine Abwechslung zu den übrigen türkischen Restaurants auf der Altendorfer Straße. Hier legt man nicht nur auf Qualität wert, sondern hat sich bei der Renovierung wirklich Mühe gegeben. Das Essen überzeugt wirklich an jeder Stelle. Wir waren bereits mehrfach zu Gast im Tava - egal ob Fleisch, Fisch, Gemüse oder Suppen. Es ist gut gewürzt und schmeckt wirklich gut.

Eine echte Bereicherung für die Gastroszene in Altendort. Tolles Ambiente, was nichts mit Imbiss zu tun hat. Sehr viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, auch draußen in der Seitenstraße. Tolle Speisenauswahl, alles sehr lecker. Es gibt auch eine große Auswahl an alkoholischen Getränken wie Heineken vom Fass und auch Raki. Service sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Kartenzahlung möglich.

Das beste türkische Essen was ich bisher kenne. Nicht vergleichbar mit anderen Lokalen. Das Fleisch ist butterzart, das Essen super gewürzt und die Portion macht einen mehr als satt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top und ich würde immer wieder hier essen.
