Modernly furnished snack bar/restaurant! Incredibly good food at reasonable prices! A must-stop on this small side street, less than two minutes from the Wilmersdorfer Straße pedestrian zone!

A great restaurant with Iranian, Kurdish, and Lebanese food.

They don't offer most Persian kebabs, and the quality is far from authentic Persian food. There wouldn't be my choice anymore.

I've been here for 20 years and their Shawarma has been consistently great. They have a great strong spice mix, and a generously sized portion. Pro tip: ask them to add potatoes to the Shawarma. Also some of the employees have been working for over two decades, and I've never had a bad experience with them. Always smiling and friendly. Wholeheartedly recommend the place.

Today, during a quick stopover in Berlin, I had shawarma at Karum with my best friend on his recommendation, and it was absolutely delicious. I've never had shawarma before, but this one was absolutely fresh, hot, and delicious. I'll definitely recommend it and come back the next time I'm in Berlin.

Hey, make the cafe cheaper, it never costs too much. That would be correct. Overall, the food was good 😁 It's always busy here. And very well attended. The staff were polite.

It feels like 20 years ago that I was here. Back then, the shop was a few doors down and a bit smaller. The food was delicious even back then, and the owner is amazing. He always exudes a good mood and plays his shop like a pianist plays the piano. I'd love to come back!👍

Delicious and the Kubide is a dream

I was curious to try something new in the vicinity of Kantstraße. Karun Bistro did not disappoint! I went with the recommendation of the staff and got the Sabji Beef Stew. It was delicious. The service was super friendly and attentive. I was even asked mid meal if I was happy. This is a rarity these days... It was a late lunch so it wasn't super busy, yet there was a few tables seated. Good energy, great food, authentic friendliness and fair prices. I can imagine the place gets packed. I'll be back for sure.

The falafel are very tasty, there are different plate variations, some with rice, lentils, salad and very good sauces. For €12, these are good value for money

The employees are extremely friendly. I didn't find the vegetarian plate really convincing, the individual elements flowed into each other and the hummus wasn't very creamy. You can do it, but I won't be a regular here, especially since the hygienic conditions are probably questionable. Anyway, the food gave me intestinal problems.

CASH ONLY Best falafel of my life. Came here after a hike with my husband, the staff was really friendly and the place was lively but not overwhelmingly so. UPD: try the lamm haxe and the karun plate, both slay!

We ordered zereshk polo and koubideh and both were delicious. There are clean toilets that in my opinion it is a sign of cleanness of the restaurant in the backstage. Service can be better though. :))

I discovered this Persian restaurant by chance and was really impressed. The food is super delicious, the flavors are fantastic and the portions are generous. It was a real stroke of luck and I can only warmly recommend it. Definitely worth a visit!

I recently visited Karun Restaurant and was very disappointed. First of all, I cannot confirm that this is a real Persian restaurant as the dishes were not authentically cooked. The food had no taste and was not what I expected. I was also surprised that I couldn't pay by card, which is simply not acceptable in this day and age. Such information should be communicated to guests in advance to avoid unpleasant situations. I really don't understand how this restaurant received a 4.5 star rating from almost 1100 people. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but positive. I will never come back and I will not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant if they want Persian dishes!

Este restaurante persa se encuentra cerca de la estación de metro Wilmersdorferstrasse. Es un poco discreto, pero tiene una bonita pantalla de tarjetas de menú. Mi compañía y yo nos sentamos en el amplio restaurante y nos atendieron rápidamente. Ordené: Baghali (Makali con 2 bolas de Falafel, ensalada, arroz con eneldo y Halloumi) y té negro La carta del menú se corta al grano y ofrece comida rápida árabe y persa. Apenas encontré clásicos persas (con exenciones) , por lo que pedí un plato de mezcla persa/árabe, que se servía puntualmente, pero estaba poco condimentado, así que agregué algunas especias, que se encuentran en la encimera delantera. Así que la comida es sólida, pero no se debe esperar algo especial. Los precios son razonables para la zona de Charlottenburg - Wilmersdorf, pero es posible que obtenga mejor comida persa en la zona. ¡Todo sólido para un rapidito!

We ordered the classic menu for several people to pick up. Order placed in advance and then picked up on the appointed date. It was cooked perfectly for us and beautifully prepared for transport. Everything went smoothly and was presented in a warm atmosphere and mood. We would like to thank the chefs and everyone involved; it exceeded our expectations. one the worst Persian kebab i ever tasted!!! I am an persian girl, So I know what a good kebab should taste like. We order both koobideh and djoje kebab and non of them taste good, Also the price for such a small dish is too high!!? in other persian resturant in Berlin you can get a kebab dish in double size with this price.

Food and service top! I understand that a certain family-friendliness is part of it, but there are children running around the whole store and screaming wildly. This is going too far for a restaurant.

Delicious oriental cuisine with Persian flair. Vegetarians also get their money's worth here. Service is very important here and you are always served very warmly. There is plenty of seating and there is also a small play area for children. The menu offers a lot and is still clear and reasonably priced. I can only recommend this store.

I'll never come back and won't recommend anyone!!! It's called Persian dish but mixed with Arabic something, you can't see anything Persian here! The rice wasn't cooked well, it was also bad and didn't taste good at all, there was hair in the food! Service not good either One star is too many!!

We are Iranian and visited this restaurant expecting to get authentic Iranian dishes especially Kabab Kubideh. But we were completely disappointed. What they served had nothing to do with real Iranian kubideh. The kabab was so burnt it was inedible and the grilled tomato was also charred. We paid 16 euros per dish for something terrible—tasteless, cold, burnt and far from an ordinary Iranian dish. This is one of the worst Iranian restaurants in Berlin. Additionally, the place was extremely dirty and there was no air conditioning. We will never go there again!

Honestly, anyone who gives 5 stars here doesn't have all of them or has come to terms with what's on offer and wants to make light of their shortcomings. Folks, go to Xberg, Neukölln or Gesundbrunnen and you'll experience an explosion of flavors at half the price. This shop has not made any effort to offer real Persian cuisine for a long time. It lives from tourists, neighbors and the poor who have to take their lunch break there. It's a shame, nothing more and nothing less. Lovelessly prepared dishes, crooked tables and western prices.

It's a shame, the food was very tasty, but I was disappointed to discover that there were only two pieces of beef in the dish. When asked about it when I paid, the boss told me that next time I would get twice as much (meat), honestly. Well, a strange calculation, if I had 2 pieces of beef in the casserole this time, I'll get 4 pieces next time??! Reminded me of Istanbul, where many restaurants have a tourist penalty.

I ordered shawarma, which was extremely delicious, but my friends ordered kebab, which was good at all, and the kebab was tasteless and very dry.

Simply great. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Luckily we found a place. The food was super delicious and the service was so friendly.
