We ate here on vacation. Incredibly delicious and light food. Back home in Bielefeld, you wouldn't get a seat without a reservation. The service was absolutely fantastic and everything was executed perfectly. We'd love to come back when we're in the area. Best wishes to Kamel and family from OWL

The host can present everything beautifully. Unfortunately, the result was subpar. The potatoes and meat were completely overcooked. The mixed vegetables tasted strange.

We're currently on vacation here and ate here yesterday because we were so impressed by the variety on the menu. We received a very friendly welcome and service and immediately felt at home. The food was amazing, very tasty, and considering it was quite busy, the wait was okay. For me, as a vegan, the menu was a dream! ☺️ So much choice! I opted for a pizza, which was really, really good. We were very impressed with the food. The only thing that surprised us later was that I think we paid too much. Either it was a misunderstanding or they overcharged us a bit?! Unfortunately, I can't understand why, and we only realized on the way to the hotel that the amount was too high (we didn't get a bill or receipt). That was a shame and a bit annoying. Nevertheless, we would love to come back because the rest of the food was really good!

The owner is very accommodating and puts the children first, ensuring their hunger and thirst are quickly quenched – fantastic! The food is creative, fresh, and delicious. We were there for the first and last time. Sunday evening, not much going on. There were three of us. It took 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive, then we ordered three salads, and another 45 minutes for the three salads to arrive. We sent the cutlery back because it was absolutely dirty. I like waiting when the place is full of customers. The food wasn't amazing, but it was okay. Cleanliness is my top priority; we had already ordered the cutlery when it arrived, otherwise we would have left immediately.

Very, I only had something to drink, but the landlord was very friendly.

So if you know what makes the owner tick... I will NEVER support someone like that.

Heute Abend war ich mit einer lieben Arbeitskollegin, aufgrund deren Empfehlung, mit ihr gemeinsam, dort Essen. Wir wurden vom Besitzer sehr höflich und gastfreundlich empfangen. Er sprach zwei Tagesempfehlungen aus. Einmal eine Pizza mit Olivenöl, Rucola, Cherrytomaten sowie eine Tagliatelle ebenfalls mit diesen Grundzutaten. Beide Empfehlungen gab es wahlweise mit Hähnchenstreifen, Lachs, Meeresfrüchten oder grünem Spargel. Meine Kollegin entschied sich für einen Beilagensalat und ich für einen mediterranen Salatteller. Beide Salate waren köstlich, extrem frisch und sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Zum Hauptgang entschied sich meine Kollegin für die Pizza der Tagesempfehlung mit Hähnchenbrustfiletstreifen und ich mich für einen Falafelburger mit Grillgemüse dazu Süßkartoffel Pommes mit Aioli. Die Pizza meiner Kollegin war extrem lecker. Der Teig dünn, am Rand warf sie Blasen, außen kross und innen fluffig weich. Eine Perfektion von Teigherstellung. Der Belag einfach nur gut, das Hähnchen so saftig und geschmacklich von höchster Qualität. Mein Falafelburger war der beste Burger meines Lebens. Der Sesam Bun war innen weich wie Brioche und außen kross. Ich wählte auf Nachfrage, scharf. Die scharfe Soße auf dem Bun war spitze, die Falafel wiederum die Besten meines Lebens (und ich habe schon einige Falafel gegessen). Das Grillgemüse bestand aus grüner, roter und gelber Paprika dazu gegrillter Zucchini. Das Gemüse war ein Traum. Dazu aß ich so leckere Süßkartoffel Pommes wie noch nie zuvor. Die Aioli war genauso gut. Die Speisen waren geschmacklich, die Zutaten in ihrer Qualität, die gesamte Präsentation sowie das Handwerk der Ehefrau des Besitzers eine 10/10. Desserts werden in der Karte nicht angeboten. Als die Gäste am Nachbartisch danach fragten, bot der Besitzer sofort an, in der renommierten Eisdiele gegenüber Torte oder Eis zu holen. Die Höhe der Rechnung liegt höher als bei Gastro Betrieben mit Supermarktware und ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Ich gönne Ihnen jeden Euro. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, in den letzten 20 Jahren so gut und professionell gespeist zu haben. Wir kommen, mit allergrößter Sicherheit, wieder. Wir danken dem Besitzer Ehepaar von ganzem Herzen für das stimmige Gesamtkonzept von Empfang, Beratung, Betreuung und Verabschiedung. In unserer kleinen Stadt Bad Bergzabern ein riesen Mehrwert, so eine Kulinarik, direkt am Marktplatz, mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten auf dem großen Parkplatz zwischen Sparkasse und Kirche, dargeboten zu bekommen. Vielen herzlichen Dank für diese Gastfreundschaft. 🫶🏻

Very unpleasant service, not great food (I have a stomach ache) and very questionable practices. The card was “from before corona” with pizza for €15+ on it and then the gentleman said that the prices on the card weren’t right and he searched wildly for some when paying. The card machine suddenly didn't work (probably blacked out)

The service is really very good, the food is delicious, the portions are really great and the non-alcoholic wines are really tasty. Any time!

The food was OK. I just found the burger that I and my companion had very overloaded and therefore difficult to eat. The host tries very hard. But with its nature it is quite tiring after a while. Because the Lord takes someone by surprise.

I had a pasta dish with spinach, pine nuts and cream, slightly spicy, I can highly recommend it. The outdoor tables could be designed more lovingly, but that's a matter of taste.

Cooler Laden in einer mega guten Lage. Beratung und Bedienung ist mehr als lieb und kompetent. Speisen sind alle frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Vegan, Veggie, Fleisch oder Fisch - alles kein Problem für Kamel.

In this small but extremely inconspicuous kitchen miracle, I had the best burger I have ever eaten!!! 🤩 Many different burger buns, several types of meat and sauces. Everyone can design their burger the way they want 😄👍! The atmosphere is also very pleasant with a little background music to combat the silence. Out of 10/10, one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. My recommendation: DEFINITELY TRY IT!!!!!

The burgers are interesting, maybe a bit expensive. If there was a small salad included, I would find the price of 19.90 for the burger with fries just about reasonable.

It was very nice in the city center of Bad Bergzabern, The boss greeted us directly and made us aware of the daily special (which was very tasty). I ate a burger with sweet potatoes. The restaurant looks completely different than in the pictures. There are a lot of strange carpets on the floor. The conditions were intrusive when we wanted to order. The food only gets three stars from me.

We had very tasty tagliatelle with salmon, cherry tomatoes and chanterelles with a mild spiciness and a vegan pizza that my daughter loved. If we didn't live far away, we would definitely come here to eat more often.

Very very tasty, great new flavors discovered

We were there today with our family (June 13th, 2024) and wanted to eat pizza. The operator came and brought us the menu. When we asked him how big pizza is (to understand how much pizzas we order) and whether one pizza is enough for us, the operator told us that he would not make pizza for us and that we should rather have kebab with these questions go out to eat :D All right, then let's go eat somewhere else!!! 200m further there is an Italian pizzeria Augustino. We ate so well there that we could hardly walk. Mega large pizzas and tarte flambées, beer, wine and everything is quite cheap! Bye bye camel, never see you again ))

It's pretty decent, but there are no alcoholic drinks. So if you like to have a beer or wine with your meal, you're unfortunately in the wrong place here. It didn't bother me personally because I didn't want an alcoholic drink. However, I found it annoying that the prices on the bill did not match those on the menu. In addition, additional requests were sometimes charged and sometimes not (we were 5 people). We found it a bit confusing. The service was friendly and acceptable. The waiting time for the pizzas was a bit too long. The pizza was tasty, but unfortunately also quite greasy. ADDENDUM: Unfortunately, the owner's comments do not correspond to the facts!

Wir sind sehr entsetzt über unfreundliche und streitsüchtige Bedienung . Zuerst haben wir halbe Stunde gewartet bis jemand überhaupt zu uns kam.(Cafe war fast leer) Nach gewisser Zeit brachte er dann nicht vollständig die Bestellung. Auf Ansprache das uns noch Getränke fehlen reagierte er gereizt in griff uns verbal an. Wir würden dieses Lokal niemanden empfehlen!!!!!!!!

Wir haben hier hervorragende Pasta gegessen. Einmal mit Lachs und Gemüse und einmal mit Meeresfrüchten. Beides hat sehr gut geschmeckt und hat sich durch eine gewollte orientalische Geschmacksrichtung wunderbar von normalen Nudelgerichten abgehoben. Außerdem waren die Portionen so groß, dass auch Vielesser satt werden. Die Beratung und der Service waren sehr gut und der Chef hat uns persönlich bedient. Es gibt keinen Alkohol in diesem Lokal. Das alkoholfreie Bier und die Fruchtsäfte sind aber so hervorragend, dass man auf alkoholische Getränke getrost verzichten kann.

There is a huge selection of vegan dishes. Both the pasta and the pizza were really tasty! We ordered the food to pick up and both the phone call and the service on site were super friendly!

We came from Karlsruhe to try the vegan and gluten-free offerings. Kamel takes care of his guests with passion, the communication and advice is wonderful, as is the Tunisian coffee. The burger was great and it was so nice to be able to enjoy a pizza again. The plan is set: we'll come back because the pasta still needs to be tested.

Very friendly host who describes the many variations on the menu in flowery terms - like a little vacation in Tunisia! The two of us were there for the first time and ate vegan. Very tasty, with a great sauce, vegetables and vegan schnitzel went well together. Likewise the side dish and the colored rolls served with it. On the way through Bad Bergzabern I ate a delicious shrimp salad here. The shrimp was the highlight, slightly fiery and garnished with jalapeños. There was also a red beetroot roll and a free Chardonnay. The host is very personable, makes recommendations and exudes a calmness that is rarely found in the catering industry today. You just feel very well looked after and at the end there was even a Tunisian coffee. My dog ​​was no problem and was provided with water without being asked. Thank you very much, we will definitely come back!

We were there for the first time on Sunday. We chose the restaurant because my daughter has to eat gluten-free. We didn't know the place and we hadn't heard anything about it from anyone. We only took note of the good reviews, but we weren't impressed by them (we always view online reviews very skeptically and tend to be cautious about them). And what happened? We were completely surprised and very impressed by this restaurant. Yes, the food was really good and inexpensive, in my opinion fresh and prepared with skill. A very good atmosphere, you just feel comfortable. There is also a very friendly owner who can also provide information about the preparation of the food if necessary. He's also very relaxed and always good for a little joke. We will definitely visit this restaurant again and again and are already looking forward to it.

With beetroot & charcoal; delicious salad; grilled vegetables and mushrooms (there are also sweet potato wedges as a side dish instead of the usual 🍟) all lovingly decorated; The homemade vegetable lentil soup was also very tasty! We ordered food and were extremely disappointed. The children's portions are normal portions in other restaurants and unfortunately the spaghetti bolognese was not edible and honestly had a fish taste so they had to throw it away. The farmer's salad is very small and partly without the ingredients as stated and incredibly expensive. It's the first time we've ordered there and it won't be the last time. It's not worth recommending.

We ordered with the delivery service yesterday. 2 double burgers...leftovers will be eaten today😄👍Since I've been through all the delivery services as far as Bergzabern is concerned, this was by far the best. Very appetizing and well prepared burgers. Fries were good and sweet potatoes a bit soft but tasty. These two things are the same with a delivery. I'm sure both would be crispy on site. We didn't have to wait long and had a great meal. Thank you🥰

Super delicious food and a huge selection of vegetarian, vegan, meat and fish-based food, if required also gluten-free and lactose-free as well as organic - there is something for everyone. And a completely non-alcoholic drinks menu, which I personally think is good. Essen war in Ordnung aber auch nicht grade was einem in Erinnerung bleibt. Pizza war Dtandard und der Burger war ganz gut Pommes waren aber sehr wenige.

Wir habe hier toll zu Abend gegessen, es gab 2x Burger, einmal mit Gemüse und einmal mit Salat. Tolle selbstgemachte Buns on verschiedenen Variationen (normal, rot, gelb, schwarz) und sehr viele verschieden Belagsoptionen. Außerdem ist Pasta und Pizza verfügbar, auch Wunsch auch in vegan oder vegetarisch. Alkoholische Getränke sucht man vergebens, am besten vom Chef begründen lassen - das lohnt sich :-) Sowieso ist der Inhaber ein echtes Unikat, er kocht was er lebt und lebt was er kocht. Ehrlich, transparent und freundlich - so wünscht man sich das öfter. Hoher Unterhaltungswert ist garantiert wenn man mit ihm ins Gespräch kommt. Wir haben den Abend dort sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Waren auf Grund einer Empfehlung gestern das erste Mal dort. Sehr nette Bedienung die alles ausführlich erklärt hat. Sehr leckeres und besonderes Essen.

Die Auswahl an Essen und Kombinationsmöglichkeiten decken ein unheimlich großes Spektrum ab und sind obendrein noch unheimlich lecker. Zu Anfang wird man direkt auf das nicht vorhanden sein von alkoholischen Getränken hingewiesen, die Alternativen sind geschmacklich aber absolut perfekt. Leider befindet sich in den Karten keinerlei Getränkekarte, so dass ein Überblick der Getränke und Preise nicht möglich ist. Auch scheinen die Preise für Speisen in der Karte nicht mehr aktuell zu sein, da sämtliche Essen 1€ teurer abgerechnet werden... Sehr sehr schade.
