Quaint Bräustüble in Miltenberg’s old town. Worth a visit. Delicious great German cuisine. No matter whether Schäufele, sauerbraten, roulades, schnitzel with side dishes etc. Plus Schlappeseppel draft beer or cold Loch Dunkel. Price-performance fits. Nice portions. We were very satisfied and will come back!!

We went there for dinner with 5 people on Sunday and were thrilled. A very friendly, courteous service. The food was very, very tasty. I have rarely eaten such a good roulade. The other four dishes were also very tasty. We can fully recommend this beautiful restaurant. A great ambience and very comfortably furnished. We'll definitely be back. Even a last-minute change in order directly on the morning of the reserved day from 4 to 5 people worked smoothly and very quickly via email.

I haven't eaten such a good, classic Viennese-style schnitzel for a long time, and the fries and presentation were also great. The waitress was very friendly and the service was excellent. The prices are not low, but justified. If I'm in the Miltenberg area again, I'll be happy to come back!

Last week we came here spontaneously without a reservation and got a nice spot straight away. The service was very friendly and the food came very quickly. The schnitzel was surprisingly tasty and justified for the price. Only a side salad in the price would have been the icing on the cake. But you only get that very rarely anyway. All in all, highly recommended!

We were lucky enough to recently visit Kalt-Loch Bräustüble in Miltenberg am Main and were impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. I ordered a Schäufele and my wife an onion roast and was absolutely thrilled with both dishes. The Schäufele was crispy on top and the meat was so tender that it fell right off the shovel. The onion roast was also perfectly cooked and the onions were nicely caramelized. The atmosphere in the Kalt-Loch Bräustüble is very cozy and inviting. The furnishings are rustic and reminiscent of a traditional Franconian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and attentive and makes you feel completely comfortable. I can recommend the Kalt-Loch Bräustüble to anyone who is looking for a good restaurant in Miltenberg am Main. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is unbeatable. I'm looking forward to coming back!

Mega rustic & hearty, super delicious home-style cuisine, great service, everyone is on their toes. Had Schäufele and beef roulade with red cabbage, dumplings & puree ;-) You can only get something this good here!!! Please continue to do so. We had sauerbraten with dumplings and red cabbage. Everything tasted very tasty. The food arrived super quickly and was plentiful and the service was very friendly and accommodating. Our two Chihuahuas were even given a bowl of water without being asked. We'll come back when we're back in Miltenberg to try the roulade.

Four of us went to Kalt-Loch-Bräustüble and had a wonderful evening. We ate Schäufele and enjoyed a few beers. The food was excellent - the Schäufele was tender and tasty (the crust was incredibly crunchy), and the beers were fresh and well chilled. The service was very courteous and friendly and always attentive and looked after us well. We sat outside in the beautiful Black Quarter of Miltenberg, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The price-performance ratio here is really first class. The prices are more than fair for the quality of the food and service. Overall, our visit to Kalt-Loch-Bräustüble was a complete success. We can only recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back!

Great menu, you can find dishes like cabbage rolls or sauerbraten, like grandma used to make 😍 Everything tastes very good and the salad is also very tasty. Normal portions, maybe a little more. Nice service and reasonable prices. Definitely worth a trip. Even when temperatures are high, you can sit comfortably outside. Every now and then cars drive through the narrow alley, but that doesn't bother you at all. We'll be back ☺️ Try it out and let yourself be pampered. 🫶

Our server was Johnny on the spot. The food was delicious and far too plentiful..the star of the show is the breweries dark beer. It's absolutely wonderful. Not overly malted, it is fresh and clean. One is not enough. Outside seating is walkup friendly whereas reservations made late are a shot in the dark. Worth a visit..since 1580...

I can't say anything, I haven't eaten here yet.

Wir waren an einem Sonntag im Kalt-Loch-Bräustüble zu Gast. Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch im Außenbereich. Eine sehr freundliche Kellnerin nahm unsere Bestellung auf. Wir bestellten das Schweineschäufelchen und ein dunkles Bier. Die Wartezeit war nicht lange und das Essen schmeckte ausgezeichnet. Das Fleisch war zart und mürbe, die Soße dunkel und kräftig im Geschmack. Alles top. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Super nice team, great location. We got a table for six people relatively quickly. The Wiener Schnitzel was excellent. The tarte flambées were very well received, as was the sausage salad, which was really good 👍👍👍. The only drawback is that you can't tip with a credit card. Otherwise highly recommended

Rustic brewery If you like it, this is the place for you 👌👍I ate stuffed schnitzel with horseradish and cheese. It was very tasty, and the fries were great. I drank dark, cold Loch Bräu beer in a jug - also perfect. And the price for a pint of beer is unbeatable at €7.60. So highly recommended.

Wir waren als Familie im Vorbeikommen hier gelandet. Waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Wir hatten von allem etwas, Käsespätzle, Schnitzel, Schäufele, Gulasch. Alles hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, gut bürgerliche leckere Küche! Auch die Bedienungen waren aufmerksam und angenehm. Top, wir kommen gerne mal wieder!

Typical Franconian, hearty food traditionally prepared and served authentically on the plate without any fuss. The service is fast, always friendly, flexible and courteous, that's what you want! On the one hand the atmosphere is very quaint and rustic but also a bit outdated. We were completely satisfied and can recommend the Kalt-Loch Braustüble with particular praise.

Mittlerweile ist das Kalt-Loch Braustüble zu einem festen Ritual bei unseren Miltenberg Besuchen geworden. Drei Tage in Miltenberg und drei mal das Braustüble besucht. Zwei mal Abendessen und ein mal Mittagessen. Wir haben die Speisekarte zwar noch nicht durch, aber alle bestellten Gerichte sahen nicht nur toll aus, sie haben auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Unser Hund durfte mit und die Oma auch :-)) Ohne Reservierung eher ein Glücksspiel. Wir kommen natürlich wieder und einen lieben Gruß an den Service und die Küche !!!

We enjoyed eating there because it tasted very good. Today will have been the last time, as the schnitzels on the plate were swimming in sauce and fat at the same time. In the salad that was ordered in addition to the cheese spaetzle, there was a long black hair in it that we complained about. We didn't ask for a new salad but it was listed on the bill even though 2 forks of it were eaten. Absolute impudence. Price-performance is absolutely incomprehensible

The waitresses were very friendly and quick. Unfortunately the tarte flambée was nothing, asparagus wasn't peeled properly and was rubbery, tomatoes were very pale and the bottom was black. Tarte flambée is not recommended. The scoop was very tasty and the portion was very large. The salad was also very good. Price performance is right, except for the tarte flambée.

We've been eating there for a very long time and have never been disappointed. Real Franconian specialties at moderate prices and cozy, traditional rooms in the middle of the historic old town of Miltenberg. Service is great and the food comes super quick and hot! The menu has something for every taste and there are also special offers depending on the season. Very child and family friendly, as we always have seven people, this is particularly important to us. And the dark beer is a real pleasure, as are the exquisite liqueurs. We always enjoy coming back. Thank you that such a beautiful inn with tasty, regional cuisine still exists 👍

Was there to eat Schäufele today. It was dry and totally salty. I haven't eaten such a bad Schäufele in a long time. The waitress asked if everything was ok, I said no, totally over salted. Reaction? I'll pass it on, that's it. Tourist bar, I can't imagine it any other way. A pity. Addendum to the owner's answer, I said clearly that it was totally salty and dry.

Beautiful old inn, I would describe the quality of the food as suitable for a canteen. Definitely won't be eating there again. Pork schnitzel from the deep fryer for 19.90 euros, and then the ketchup with the fries was charged at 70ct extra. No side salad. Toilets urgently need to be renovated. One star each for the beautiful inn and the conditions were also fine

Been here again for a long time... A gem of Franconian cuisine, the food was fantastic, the portions were huge. I haven't eaten such a fine Schäuferla in a long time, the bone was actually just an ornament and could easily be removed without tools. My friend's game goulash was excellent.

Nach unserem Weihnachtsmarktbesuch sind wir spontan eingekehrt. Schon lange nicht mehr haben wir so gut bürgerlich gegessen. Rindsroulade und geschmorte Gänsekeule jeweils mit Rotkraut und Knödel oder Kartoffelstampf. Ein Traum. So große Portionen, dass uns "der Ranzen g'spannt" hat. Wo gibt's denn noch sowas? Wir konnten nicht aufhören zu essen, die Gerichte waren einfach zu gut. Beim nächsten Mal kehren wir auf jeden Fall wieder ein.

Wir hatten das Schäufele mit Zubehör. Ich fragte die Bedienung ob es möglich wäre ein etwas fettes Stück zu bekommen : kein Problem. Suuuper nett und zuvorkommend. Und dann kam das Essen. WOW.... auf einer Skala von 1 - 10 eine glatte 13 ! Der Hammer echt. Selten so etwas gutes gegessen - auf den Punkt. Und der "Rest" ? Was soll ich sagen...bombastisch!! Man kann sowas nicht mehr steigern. Wir sind von weiter weg und wegen einem Fallschirmsprung in Miltenberg. Wir fahren auf jeden Fall nochmal die 2,5 Stundenden nicht nur wegen dem schönen Städtchen sondern hauptsächlich wegen dem Essen und allem drum und dran. Weiter so und viele Grüße

Gestern zum Mittagessen: Fränkischer Sauerbraten mit Rotkohl und Knödel. War sehr lecker. Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Ambiente rustikal und dunkel obwohl ich am Fenster saß. Aber das ist in historischen Häusern normal. Insgesamt war ich zufrieden und gehe sicher wieder hin.
