KaisKantine in Leipzig

I ordered on a Sunday evening and am very satisfied 😀 The potato soup is prepared in the classic Saxon way and is therefore really delicious 🙏 The sausage goulash is very well seasoned and contains many different types of sausage, which gives the dish even more flavor. I also find the slight acidity in the sauce very tasty! The tomato sauce tasted super fresh and the quality and taste of the Jägerschnitzel were very good! The game goulash tasted very good and intense, the meat was very soft and NOT dry at all, quite the opposite. If necessary, you could choose as an option whether you would prefer the cranberries or applesauce, both go very well :) The curds were also homemade and therefore very tasty... In this version with raisins, which I don't deny but I think it would be better without something 🙏 Rice pudding was also very good in taste, but the grain could have been a little softer. Overall, everything is really great, I will order again and maybe try out the catering at the next event 😁

Always a good place for breakfast, lunch and in between. Nice and funny staff and everything to take away too. I'd be happy to come back at any time.

In a Leipzig backyard, a bit hidden, you can get delicious food at a reasonable price. Small canteen feeling with friendly staff.

3 visits - 3 bad impressions. For this reason I just have to give my feedback. Day 1: Bought Jägerschnitzel rolls. Served with ketchup and mustard without asking for preferences. Day 2: Saleswoman comes out of the kitchen and licks her fingers. Afterwards, food is served without washing your hands first. Hygienic disaster! Day 3: The title “young man” is inappropriate and derogatory. I may not look over 40, but I certainly don't look 12. The saleswoman should perhaps be trained!

Very good service, friendly staff and an absolutely top price-performance ratio.👌🏻 Rustically furnished, with attractive pictures of Leipzig on the wall. You can take your orders on site or have them delivered. Nothing to complain about.

Expensive and, on top of that, unfriendly. Don't be surprised if there are no customers in sight.

Simply clearly equipped canteen (40+ seats) that offers a lot of choice in the menu. Daily changing dishes and fixed menu, drinks and small snacks. Very good prices compared to other snack bars in the surrounding area.

It's been a few days; I'm just now getting around to writing. I had a wonderful homemade brawn with fried potatoes. Where can you get brawn that you have made yourself and not bought in for a small price? The staff were friendly and accommodating. I can highly recommend KaisKantine.

Very friendly and committed staff. There is also a good selection at reasonable prices. So, we will definitely come back more often.

Top food for a low price, the employees are all very nice

Sehr lecker und die Preise sind auch top. Hatte 3 Portionen zum Mitnehmen, die gingen flott. Das wechselnde Angebot ist ne feine Sache. Es ist etwas versteckt, aber die Suche lohnt sich.

Für die schnelle Mittagspause ideal, aber leider schwer zu finden. Macht mehr Werbung und Beschilderungen am Netto oder so um euch zu finden. Ansonsten ist das Personal super freundlich.

Super leckeres Essen, egal ob Frühstück oder Mittagessen, freundliches Personal, immer frisch gekocht und faire Preise. Essen kann sogar mit genommen werden. Kann ich nur jeden empfehlen.
