Kaiser Pide & Kebaphaus in Mainz

Generell ist es in Mainz eher schwierig, einen veganen oder vegetarischen Döner zu finden , der mit Salat und Fleischersatz befüllt ist. Deshalb war ich happy, einen solchen auf der Speisekarte vom Kaiser Kebaphaus zu finden. Ich kannte den Kaiser Grill schon vorher von Besuchen vor Ort, aß bis dahin aber nur Pide (das auch unglaublich lecker ist). Als ich dieses mal bestellt und den vegetarischen Döner auspackte, traute ich meinen Augen nicht. Selten habe ich so einen gut gefüllten Döner gegessen. Das Ding wog locker fast ein Kilo, und war randvoll mit Fleischersatz und Salat. Ich kann nichts zu den "normalen" Dönern oder dem Fleisch sagen, aber das was ich bekam, hat mich absolut überzeugt. Wer abholt, sollte kein Hollywood-Flair erwarten. Die Location ist eben mitten in der Neustadt direkt am Bismarckplatz, aber das Lokal sauber, gepflegt, und die Mitarbeiter super freundlich und aufmerksam.

War leider Nix. Sorry. Dönerfleisch auf Pide Gummiartig und Köfte schmecken nach Veganen Frikadellen obwohl sie aus Fleisch sind.

Wir haben uns Essen liefern lassen. Sie haben nur die Hälfte der Bestellung geliefert, und der Kebab, der eigentlich vegan sein sollte, enthielt Fleisch. Obendrein haben sie uns ignoriert und uns das Geld nicht zurückerstattet. Eine absolute Abzocke.

Es hat ewig gedauert, bis die Lieferung ankam, und als sie endlich da war, war das Essen kalt und schmeckte schlecht. Außerdem hatten wir eine vegane Variante bestellt, doch das stellte sich als falsch heraus.

Sie sagen, es sei vegan, aber sie haben uns Kebabs mit Fleisch gebracht. Es ist eine Unverschämtheit.

Bestes Pide der Stadt, netter Besitzer und Gratis-Tee während das Essen frisch zubereitet wird.

Die Zutaten sind frisch, die Saucen hervorragend abgestimmt und geschmacklich absolut auf Top-Niveau. Selbst Freunde, die sich nicht vegan ernähren, sind jedes Mal begeistert. Dazu kommt ein freundlicher Service und faire Preise. Ich bin restlos begeistert und komme immer wieder gerne vorbei. Für alle, die in Mainz einen wirklich guten veganen Döner suchen, ist das ein absolutes Muss! 👌🌯💚

Haben gestern Abend dort das vegane Tunfisch-Sandwich und eine veganen Teller. Super lecker und empfehlenswert!

Dafür dass Pide im Namen steht ist sie überraschend schlecht Außerdem sind die Gerichte verhältnismäßig teuer

Ich habe bestellt. Laut Googlebewertungen scheint der vegane Döner ja ganz gut zu sein. Dies gilt in keinster Weise für den Döner mit Fleisch. Ich weiß nicht, wie Fleisch gleichzeitig so gummiartig und doch voller Knorpel sein kann. Ich habe bei jedem Bissen bereut, Extrafleisch bestellt zu haben. Das Brot ist jedoch ganz gut. Dazu habe ich mir eine Linsensuppe bestellt, die aber mit soviel Wasser verdünnt ist, dass ich es auch hätte lassen können und einfach einen Tee trinken können. Da ich bestellt habe, kann ich keine Angabe zu dem Ambiente machen. Schlechte Bewertungen schreibe ich eigentlich nicht, aber bei sonst so guten Bewertungen scheint es doch nötig zu sein. Wenn das Fleisch besser gewesen wäre, wäre das nicht der schlechsteste Döner meines Lebens gewesen. Bitte unbedingt Fleisch eines anderen Lieferers beziehen!!!

Wir kommen super gerne hierher! Es gibt richtig viel vegane Auswahl, alles ist immer total lecker und frisch. Der Service ist jedes Mal unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Allein schon wegen der vielen veganen Optionen ist es unser absoluter Lieblings-Döner! 🥙

Our company ordered food for nine people from Kaiser Pide and Kebaphaus. The order was placed by phone. The delivery didn't arrive for 1 hour and 45 minutes, by which time our lunch break was already over. In the meantime, we called twice to inquire about the delivery – both times we were brushed off rudely and impatiently, without a proper explanation or apology. When the food finally arrived (almost two hours after ordering), the driver neither apologized nor made any attempt to defuse the situation. Regarding the food itself: We ordered various dishes – doner kebab, dürüm, and vegetarian options. My order was for a doner kebab, specifically without onions. What arrived was the exact opposite: The doner kebab seemed to consist mainly of onions and leftover meat with gristly, fibrous pieces. It was also extremely oily, with grease dripping everywhere. ... After three bites, I had to throw the doner kebab away – without exaggeration, the worst doner kebab I've ever eaten. In short: Very long wait, poor handling of inquiries, no apology, and disappointing food quality. Absolutely not recommended for a larger order at work.

We ordered delivery, and after a total of two hours and several inquiries, the food finally arrived. Several dishes were not delivered correctly, and the doner bread was dripping in oil. We can't comment on the ambiance, as it was a delivery.

Great doner kebab with fantastic vegan options. The staff is always very friendly; we stop by every time we visit Mainz. Last time, they made the bread themselves, using a kind of whole-grain base. I'm not usually a fan of homemade bread for doner kebabs, but this was very good!

Kaiser Pide is our absolute favorite kebab shop in Mainz. The food never disappoints, and everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful. We exclusively get our kebabs here and love the warm atmosphere in the shop.

I highly recommend Kaiser. Not only is the quality right, but the price is also right. The vegan doner kebab is good. The only thing is that the vegan plant-based meat could be fried in a little less oil. It often uses a lot of oil. And instead of cocktail sauce, vegan yogurt sauce would be better (Alpro yogurt, for example). Otherwise, it's good.

My absolute favorite kebab house in Mainz! The dough is homemade, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The vegetarian and vegan selection is very extensive and super delicious. My order was prepared incorrectly once again. The price to be paid was unclear, and there was no receipt. This also happened a second time.

A disappointment – ​​never again! I was really disappointed with my last visit. The meat seemed old and was even dry in places – it looked like it was from the day before and had simply been reheated. Instead of fresh, juicy doner meat, I got a mixture that tasted like old meat and had obviously just been "refreshed" with tofu or sauce. This is not only unappetizing, but also questionable in terms of hygiene. This will definitely be my last visit.

Unfortunately, it's extremely disappointing. I gave it three chances. I ordered from here twice. Unfortunately, my order arrived incorrectly both times, and I had to pay significantly more than I had originally ordered. Furthermore, I was unable to receive an invoice, nor was any explanation given as to why the price was so high. It's a real shame, as I won't be ordering from here again, even though the vegan dishes are actually delicious. The doner meat is, unfortunately, absolutely not tasty and very disappointing.

We had ordered 2 doner plates, one was with extra meat but both had the same amount of lentil soup which was okay, we also had pide with minced meat which was the only thing that really tasted good, I'm not sure if I would order again

Well, I've been going to my trusted kebab man for years and that's Kaiser Pide on Bismarckplatz in Mainz ☝️ I've often ordered my lahmacun elsewhere, but I always come back to Kaiser Pide, because on the one hand I prefer veal 1,000 times more than some kind of "chicken meat" that you don't know whether it was actually alive and has been so disguised with fried chicken spice that all you actually have left is glutamate in your face and on the other hand, it's simple with its choice of ingredients, but how much fancy stuff do you need to make a hot one To make lahmacun with which you can depict "adult" scenes while eating? While waiting, it was a real pleasure to watch the employee preparing the Lahmacun pizzas, how he rolled his dough balls into pizzas, spread the homemade minced meat sauce on top and then skillfully paddled the blanks into the oven like a professional pizza maker. 👌 The first fully baked Lahmacun pizza was mine and it came with chopped lettuce, white cabbage, onions, tomatoes, lots of yoghurt sauce (or is it Knofi sauce? Awesome, just awesome) and veal that actually looks like a skewer made of layers of meat. Unfortunately, in other stores the supposed veal looked more like pressed meat, which immediately prompted the appetite to leave 😖. And just now, as soon as I got home, my clothes were spread out along the hallway, my shoes had been skillfully kicked away, I was sitting in front of him and couldn't hold myself back... This restaurant is simply fantastic! I regularly order from Lieferando and am thrilled every time. The food is always fresh, incredibly tasty and delivered super quickly. The quality of the ingredients and the taste are simply top – it couldn’t be better! You can tell how much love and care goes into every dish. I can't wait to visit in person and enjoy it in person. Absolutely recommended – my new favorite restaurant!

Price performance goes hand in hand and the vegan kebab meat on offer is of top quality. The fact that a good vegan sauce is available is often the exception, but here it is an integral part of the program🥰 In addition to kebab, there are many other vegetarian and vegan dishes, so it's really great!

Amazing place! Half (or more than a half) of the menu is meat-free and everything can be made vegan, they even have vegan sauce. Finally the vegan döner doesn’t mean just a wrap with grilled veggies… they have vegan meats, as well as fish substitutes and a big plus for baking flat bread themselves! It’s fresh and delicious, you can feel such a difference than with a store bought. Super friendly stuff also!

I was there for the first time yesterday and was sad that I didn't find the grill sooner :) I had Pide Kaiseri, my girlfriend had a Dürüm since we shared I can rate both... Dürüm: HOME-BAKED BREAD, always a nice game changer, and the filling was also good, fresh, crunchy, the meat was tasty and everything wasn't drowned in the sauce. Nice, tasted very good. Cok Güsel :) Pide Kaiert: Also really nice, the dough was super cross and crunchy, everything was freshly made, with egg, cheese sucuc and mince with a nice basic spiciness, with AcI Biber even better. The pide in particular was not only delicious, but also very filling. For drinks we had Ayran from the supermarket and chai, the tea was delicious, without sugar, aromatic, and rounded off the meal well. The days where you can get kebab in the grill for 4 euros are over, but me and my girlfriend paid just under 30 euros with drinks (2x Dürüm, 1x Pide, 2 Airan), which is more than clear given the quality of the food. I would also like to point out that everyone there was very friendly and relaxed, I liked the way the grill was set up, with a few photos and a small book niche, which somehow gave the whole thing such a nice personal touch that I think I found "my" grill , even if we're both moving to Wiesbaden soon. A+++, really nice!

There was little sauce on the kebab and comparatively little meat, so the kebab tasted very dry and you sometimes only bit on red cabbage.

We wanted to have the fries packed separately because that's where the fries are placed under the meat. Paid €2 more for it! The meat was not freshly cut but kept warm. There was a lot of oil. You couldn't taste the meat, just the disgusting OIL! I'm very very disappointed! We definitely won't be buying or ordering anything there again!!
