Kai Sushi & Bar Würzburg in Würzburg

We took 2 boats. Two arrived in a "large plate" and we thought it was only one but instead there were 2 and we spent a total of 59 euros

OMG! We've found the best sushi in town! It was incredibly delicious! They didn’t skimp on the fish in the rolls, there’s a lot of it, it’s fresh and very tasty! The only negative is that we waited a long time for our order, although the restaurant was half full. But the wait was worth it! The atmosphere is very pleasant. I'll come back here again and again! I highly recommend visiting!

The food tastes good, not super tasty, it still lacks a bit of authenticity. The portions could be a little larger. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Very chic on the inside, ok on the outside. The prices are a bit expensive.

We came to Würzburg for a short vacation and both really like sushi, which is why we looked for a sushi restaurant. There are many in the immediate vicinity, but we are glad we came here. We were there twice in 3 days. A quiet atmosphere, a quick welcome to the table and the food was really really good. Not a long waiting time and the price-performance ratio is more than just okay. Clear recommendation!

Not exactly the cheapest, but for me one of the best Asian restaurants in Würzburg. The staff is friendly and the location is fine. However, on previous visits it always took a little longer until the food was ready.

Fantastic food, really tasty sushi. Large, tasty and unique combinations. It's not very pleasant to sit on your terrace, right on a busy road, but that doesn't bother you much.

A real masterpiece for sushi lovers! It was my first time at Kai Sushi & Bar and I was not disappointed. The food was freshly prepared and of the highest quality. The selection of sushi was impressive. Each piece not only looked fantastic, but also tasted delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was pleasant and inviting. If you're looking for excellent sushi, Kai Sushi & Bar is definitely worth a visit!

The food was delicious and reached us within a reasonable time. Unfortunately we had a bad day with the service? There is a lot of disinterest and there is little response when contacted. Somehow that made it more of an unfriendly atmosphere. I actually thought it was okay for the price.

We spontaneously decided to have a lunch snack at KAI Sushi & Bar and really enjoyed it. The reviews did not mislead us. Deserves 5 stars. Very tasty sushi in many variations. The presentation was rather simple but still beautiful. Prices are a bit higher, but the food is still worth the price. Therefore: clear recommendation.

Now I come from Rosenhein and consciously choose Kai Sushi & Bar in Würzburg and make a reservation. Nice reservation confirmation and the visit doesn't disappoint either. Definitely worth a visit!

Probably just had a bad day as there was a lot going on. But unfortunately the curry wasn't good at all, the vegetables, especially the sweet potatoes, were still far too firm and parts of the chicken were still almost raw. Actually the food should have been returned, but we decided not to. Sushi was good but expensive. Personally, I don't find the various platters for 1 or 2 people put together particularly creatively. Service and ambience were good.

Sushi is great as always! But waited almost 1.5 hours for food! Compared to December, massive price increase and smaller portions. Left picture from yesterday, right from December! Unfortunately we won't be going there anymore!

One of the best, if not THE best sushi restaurant in Würzburg! We go to Kai Sushi regularly and always leave the restaurant with a satisfied smile because everything is just right here! -TOP service, very friendly and courteous service staff, whatever small talk is good for. -Beautifully decorated restaurant with a cozy atmosphere -Exceptionally good food: not only the sushi quality and its presentation are great, but also - or especially! - the rice dishes (e.g. with cubed steak or grilled salmon) are absolutely top class! Beautifully presented and a culinary delight - we order something different every time and everything was delicious and cooked to perfection, the chef is a master at his craft. It's nice that there are still Asian (here Vietnamese & Japanese) restaurants that stand out from the Chinese standard (chicken/duck/beef with peanut or curry sauce blah blah). Prices are reasonable given the experience and location, not cheap but totally reasonable. We are already looking forward to the next visit - see for yourself, you certainly won't regret it!

Super leckeres Sushi gehabt, sehr hochwertig und schön angerichtet. Preislich in den letzten Jahren angezogen, aber noch im Rahmen. Ambiente ist angenehm. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und das Essen kam nicht schnell aber wir mussten auch nicht ewig warten.

Super leckeres Sushi in vielen Variationen, das schön angerichtet ist. Wir haben auf Anfrage sogar extra vegetarische Frühlingsrollen bekommen, die nicht in der Karte standen. Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet und war sehr schnell da. Unser Kellner war sehr nett und freundlich. Auch das Ambiente war schön und angenehm. Minuspunkt sind die doch sehr gehobenen Preise, die handschriftlich in ziemlich ramponierten Karten reingekritzelt wurden. P.S. Der Bewegungsmelder fürs Licht in den Toiletten ist extrem kurz, vllt könnte man den anpassen 😉

Ungewöhnliche gute Auswahl an Sushi sowie einigen Curry Tellergerichten. Schöne Präsentation der Gerichte. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Aufmerksamer Service. Modernes Ambiente, welches etwas gemütlicher sein könnte. Insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Bestes Sushi im Würzburg. Service einwandfrei

Wir fahren, wenn wir Sushi wollen, grundsätzlich zum Kai und das seit über einem Jahr. Sogar regelmäßig, mindestens jedoch einmal im Monat. Die Speisen dort werden mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet, egal ob es sich um Menü-Speisen oder Sushi handelt. Ich empfehle die Bestellung eines Hausgemachten drinks, die sind wirklich Klasse! Das Sushi war sehr schön angerichtet und hat auch durchweg gut geschmeckt, war aber auch etwas kostspielig im Verhältnis. Teilweise verstehe ich bei den Menüs die Kombinationen nicht so wirklich da es irgendwie nicht so wirklich was gibt wo alles dabei ist. Vorspeisen, Nachspeisen und Getränke waren auch nicht zu kritisieren. Der Service ist ganz besonders hervorzuheben unser Kellner war einfach super sympathisch, freundlich und zuvorkommend! Gerne wieder

Very delicious sushi and soup! Many non seafood items on the menu including chicken and vegetarian options. The soup is delicious - over two visits we have tried all four of them and they are all great! Service is fast and friendly and you can choose from terrace seating or inside the cozy restaurant. Location is easy and central to everything else. Great fresh cocktails as well as house made lemonades without alcohol that were amazing and fresh.

Sehr nette Bedienung. Und sehr guter Service. Und natürlich schmeckt das Essen ganz hervorragend. Die Preise sind angemessen. Nur das Licht in den Toiletten,welches über Bewegungsmelder gesteuert wird, ist viel zu kurz eingestellt. Aber so bleibt man auch beim Toilettengang in Bewegung 😉

Location: man sitzt ziemlich beengt, wenn das Lokal voll ist kann es sehr laut werden. Wir saßen gegenüber vom Eingang, der Vorhang hinter der Tür war leider permanent offen, sodass wir immer kalte Luft abbekamen, wenn jemand zur Tür reinkam. Ambiente sonst mordern und stylisch. Essen: Wir hatten Sushi. Es war extrem lecker, sehr frisch, kreative Zusammenstellungen, ausgewogene Speisekarte. Köstlich Service: könnte deutlich aufmerksamer sein. Wartezeit auf Getränke ziemlich lange! Eine Kundin, die etwas abholen wollte, hat sehr lange im Eingangsbereich gewartet und war ziemlich genervt. Wir wurden beim Abräumen nicht gefragt, ob uns das Essen geschmeckt hat oder ob alles in Ordnung war. Zudem konnten wir gestern nur bar bezahlen, was in Coronazeiten ziemlich nervig ist. Preise: für Sushi eigentlich moderat, ich würde sagen übliche Preise. Die hausgemachten Limonaden schlagen schonmal mit 6€ zubuche. Schmecken dafür aber absolut fantastisch. Fazit: Essen&Trinken geschmacklich hammer, Service könnte deutlich schneller und aufmerksamer sein.
