The dishes could be seasoned better. Overall, everything tasted a bit bland. The burger lacked the “graininess” (tasted more like a tough steak), and the Maultaschen were also a bit hard. And a cordon bleu without sage is not a cordon bleu. However, the service was very good! And quickly.

Great service, great ambience in the city center

We treated ourselves to breakfast there. I have to say that for €16.80 for breakfast I was hoping for more. The portion was ok (but not particularly much) but the rolls were over-baked and there was no fresh sausage or cheese etc. Latte Macchiato costs €4.90. To be honest, I get a better breakfast at home. It's a shame that it's so rare to get a fresh and good breakfast 😏

Pleasant space, good cakes, tasty lunches, in a charming old town.

Nicely located on the market square. It's lovely to sit outside in the summer. But also a nice atmosphere inside, very friendly service. There's something for everyone to eat and drink, from coffee and cake to tarte flambée and plated meals. Good quality.

Was a little disappointed! The portion is very manageable, the eggs (one scrambled, one fried) are unfortunately really cold, there is no drink included and the price is clearly too high for that. Too bad

Was there for the first time. Prices are in the higher segment. Had the Swiss breakfast and unfortunately wasn't happy for the price. Cup of coffee, very small, 3.50 euros. Price sound barrier broken with a loud bang. For me there won't be a second time there. Service ok but not outstanding. Ambience normal but not extraordinary.

We took a break here on our bike tour to Ladenburg. Breakfast is served until 2 p.m. We had the coffee house breakfast for €16.80. It was very tasty and sufficient, the service was great and nice too. We'll be back.

I've only had breakfast here (several times), which was always good. The service is top! Even if there is a complaint, you will be treated very courteously. That's what you want.

We were here by chance, very nice atmosphere, nice service. We had the apple pie with a cup of coffee/crema, both very good. Gladly again.

A shady spot for an enjoyable afternoon snack

Spaghetti ice cream was quite small, the strawberry sauce on the menu turned out to be sour cherry sauce. They should have at least pointed this out when ordering.

Pfifferlingsragout. Das Ragout war mit Champignons anstatt mit Pfifferlingen. Wir wurden nicht gefragt, ob das Gericht mit anderen Pilzen in Ordnung geht. Es gab wenige Pilze. Die Nudeln waren zerkocht. Geschmacklich war es akzeptabel.

Chanterelle ragout. The ragout was with mushrooms instead of chanterelles. We were not asked if the dish would be OK with other mushrooms. There were few mushrooms. The noodles were overcooked. The taste was acceptable.

Wir hatten das große Pech, in diesem Restaurant zu essen ohne die Bewertungen zu orüfen und es war eine katastrophale Erfahrung von Anfang bis Ende. Der Salat, den wir bestellten, war schlichtweg ungenießbar – matschig, welk und offensichtlich alt. Zu allem Überfluss sind die Preise eine absolute Frechheit, die in keinem Verhältnis zur Qualität steht. In jedem Freibadkiosk gibt es einen besseren Salat für die Hälfte des Preises Insgesamt war dies eines der schlechtesten Restaurantbesuche, die wir seit langem erlebt habe. Ich rate dringend davon ab, diese Etablissement zu besuchen. Sparen Sie sich das Geld und die Enttäuschung.

Gruseliges essen und total minderwertige Qualität. Und das zu nicht gerechtfertigten Preisen. Haben das Essen zurückgehen lassen und mussten komplett alles bezahlen! Unbedingt eine andere Wahl treffen!

Stopped by today during a bike ride. Ordered 1 croissant and 2 cappuccinos. The croissant was burnt black to a crisp and the cappuccinos never came.

The food was very tasty, the portions were large and it was extremely cozy. Perfect for brunch or just having breakfast later. The service was very nice and accommodating.

Unfortunately I have to contradict the many positive reviews. The breakfast was expensive but the quality of the ingredients was poor. French baguette was announced, but we received the cheapest baked baguette from the discount store. I asked for grain rolls. I received a cheap baked roll, the others were still in the oven. After I had finished breakfast - with a roll - and paid, the waitress brought me another roll and asked if I would like to take it home with me. I politely said no. I really hope the operators take the criticism seriously and work on their concept.

A beautiful bistro restaurant / café on the market square in the middle of the old town. The ambience is nice whether you sit inside or outside. The service was very friendly and attentive. There's everything you need to drink, from coffee to cocktails. The prices are normal and not excessive. It's a nice place to enjoy. The menu offers great and delicious breakfast options...highly recommended! The great homemade cakes and desserts are also recommended. It's always a pleasure to be in the coffee house.

Cosy Restaurant-Café in the beautiful old city centre of Ladenburg. We only had some drinks and cakes. The cakes were fresh and tasty, service nice and attentive. The whole place looks very nice, not to mention the magnificent old buildings you can admire from the terrace. Although Ladenburg has a couple of nice places where you can eat, Kaffeehaus Ladenburg is definitely on the shortlist of the places where you have to stop when visiting Ladenburg.

The four of us were fully expecting to have breakfast there. The prices were totally exorbitant for the breakfast that was served. Not quality goods.

What a lovely friendly bar in a gorgeous square. We have just sat and enjoyed drinks but are now ordering another! There’s a little outdoor market in the actual square today (Friday) selling local produce.

Outside you have a nice view of the market square. When there is a lot going on, the waiting times can sometimes be a bit long. Highly priced.

Was eaten - Spanish breakfast - Latte Machiato Very nice restaurant, the employees (young team) were all incredibly nice, in a good mood and very service-oriented. The Spanish breakfast with very tasty omelette, chorizo, warm tapas vegetables and honeydew melon with ham was very good. The coffee from the portafilter machine is excellent.

Yes, you have to take it with humor. 17 euros for completely below average cheese spaetzle or two slices of toast with asparagus and cheap hollandaise. But you sit really nicely.

We were there for breakfast and unfortunately found that the breakfasts we selected were very sparse, even though they were the most expensive on the menu. The plates were clearly stocked. The bread basket for 2 people consisted of 2 baked rolls and 4 thin slices of baguette. Not again at this price.

That will definitely stop us from eating there again. Baden cheese spaetzle in a rather smaller portion €16.80? Very sporty! We like to pay a good price for good food. In this case the price-performance ratio was not right for us. The same applies to the tarte flambée at €12.90 and the relatively small teapot at €4.80. We are therefore deducting 1 star for the pricing policy.

The burger buns smelled unusually strong of old fat deposits, the baked vanilla ice cream also had a similar smell - should be urgently checked by the management. Our service was attentive and friendly, but a bit forgetful - the staff overall made a chaotic impression.

Yesterday we were at the Sunday brunch buffet, which always takes place on the first Sunday of the month. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with the food selection. For 25€/person without drinks there were far too few different choices, especially for vegetarians! The rolls were the run-of-the-mill baked goods from the discount store, no pretzels/pretzels, no bread. At first we thought that this was definitely just part of the buffet, but it was actually all there was. No labels, so you sometimes had to guess what you were eating. Sugar, jam, butter etc. all individually packaged, which is no longer up to date. The sugar packets had advertising from a hearing aid manufacturer, which was very reminiscent of a rest stop breakfast. No salmon or other “more expensive dishes”. Everything was arranged very tightly. With Extrablatt, for example, there is so much more choice and for €10 less! Very disappointing and not recommended, more of a rip off! The service was very attentive and friendly.

Good location. You can still smile about the spelling error on the mirror saying “Schiken” instead of “Schinken”. Food: Unfortunately the spaetzle was below average and the Kaiserschmarrn was a complete failure. None of this was homemade and I always eat better at home. I don't need to go there for this. The cake offering at the counter was sad. Only a single piece was displayed on a plate at a time. There were only 3 varieties. We found it strange that the coffee with sugar packets had a real estate company on the advertisement. Even the loveless plastic container with condensed milk is not worthy of a coffee house. We won't be coming back. If necessary, have your own experience.

Nice location on the square and nice staff. But beware of the “tourist trap”. I ordered a hot lemon for three euros and hot water actually came, but instead of squeezed lemon only a few drops of lemon concentrate were used. I only know something like that from Italy. It's better to order drinks from the bottle here, then you can be sure that what you order will be served

It was nothing. I don't feel like writing so much, 9 people without any frills €280 😳 and want to make the prices higher because the VAT goes back to 19% as it was before, exaggeratingly nice 😳🫤

Great breakfasts there! I prefer Sylter. Bit small portions, though. And - for obvious reasons - I would only serve a boiled egg soft in a restaurant if requested.

Es ist wirklich schade. Tolle location, tolle Räumlichkeiten, nettes, wenngleich überfordertes Personal, aber das Essen ist einfach nur schlecht. Alle paar Monate probieren wir es wieder, die Karte wird kleiner, die Preise teurer aber das Essen enttäuscht wieder...

Wir waren am zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag im Café. Es war natürlich sehr voll. Trotzdem war der Service ganz besonders freundlich und zuvorkommend. Selbst Extrawünsche ( Kaffee erst mit dem Frühstück ) wurden erfüllt. Das Essen kam erstaunlich schnell und hat wirklich lecker geschmeckt! Einziger Schwachpunkt ist die Geräuschkulisse

Es ist wirklich schön hier, auch der Service ist sehr nett. Aber die Küche ist nicht gut. Immer mal wieder probieren wir es, aber es wird nicht besser. Geschmacklich öde. Ich glaube, die Hähnchenbruststreifen waren schon mehrmals in einer Pfanne. Der Salat schmeckte sauer. Lieblos. Schade.

Die Frühstücke dort sind super lecker. Bin fast alle 3 Wochen dort, mit meiner Freundin.

Man kann hier insbesondere gut frühstücken und Cocktails trinken. Einmal im Monat gibt es ein Frühstücksbuffet, dann ist es aber sehr voll. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön in der Altstadt von Ladenburg, besonders wenn man draußen sitzen kann.

Hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war lecker. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente absolut einladend. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und kann das Kaffeehaus sehr empfehlen!

Egal für welchen Anlass, es passt immer

Wir lieben es hier zu Frühstücken! Mein Freund und ich gehen hier regelmäßig frühstücken und wir lieben es jedes Mal. Auch wenn man mit mehreren Personen hier reserviert, lässt der Service und die Qualität nicht nach. Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker und die Preise finde ich absolut angemessen. Jedes Mal wenn wir hier frühstücken finde ich es einfach entspannend und fantastisch. Ein sehr großes Lob an die Küche und an den Service. Hier möchte ich besonders Herrn Engel hervorheben, der wirklich eine sehr gute Arbeit macht und einen den Tag verschönert. Trotz unserer Extrawünsche funktioniert bei ihm immer alles reibungslos, was mir persönlich sehr sehr wichtig ist. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!

Top Adresse, freundliches Personal, tolles Ambiente! Frühstück sogar nach 12 Uhr noch möglich. Große Frühstück Auswahl wie z.B. Amerikanisch (mit Pancake) oder typisch Französisch / Deutsch / oder viele andere Varianten. Mittagessen / Abendessen / sogar Kuchen 🎂 gaaanz toll! Auf jedenfall einen Besuch wert!!

Das Essen war super, es hätte die volle Punktzahl verdient. Aber es kam warm auf einem kalten Teller auf den Tisch. Es kühlte doch schneller als erwartet. Nichts desto trotz bekommt es eine gute Punktzahl da es super geschmeckt hat.

Der Erdbeermilchshake schmeckt nach Erdbeermilch und nicht nach einem shake . Für den Preis eine Frechheit!! Das Eis war ok.

Essen war okay aber wenig. Es fehlt dauernd etwas und wir mussten tausendmal fragen und bitten. Der Service war mit das schlimmste, zwar alle nett aber egal wen man gefragt hat, war die Person nicht zuständig. Zum Abkassieren haben wir 5 Mal fragen müssen und haben schon überlegt ob man unser Geld 💵 überhaupt möchte ?? Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Besser nicht mehr besuchen. Schlechtes Essen, Bescheidener Service, Preis Leistung unterirdisch. Sparen!!!!
