KÅDU in Ottobrunn

We went there to eat but were disappointed. The menu is very economical, very small selection and written so small that you almost can't read it. Two lunch menus, which were somewhat okay, but generally no choice and still very expensive. Too bad. Kadu used to be better.

Good coffee, and friendly staffs. They get busy on Sundays - I’d suggest making reservations. I love the interiors design. Would highly recommend this spot.

A truly excellent restaurant. The breakfast with Croque Monsieur and a delicious banana bread was excellent. The service was warm, competent and quick. The price-performance ratio is balanced. A visit to this restaurant is strongly recommended.

After our theater performance, we had dinner here with the entire team with a reservation. Despite our late arrival, the restaurant left the kitchen open for us! Great organization and openness to such requests, which is rare these days. We were all very happy!

I've eaten at Kadu several times and I always thought it was great and the portions were good for the price, but now I've ordered more often and I've gotten really puny portions for a high price, and I find that very cheeky! Doesn't work at all.

Let me start this review by saying that I used to be a client since the Nimrod's time. I've always enjoyed coming here, but, after my last visits not anymore. A couple of reasons: * There was a fairly consistent change in the menu in the recent months. Multiple dishes have been removed, I guess it's a sort of optimization for the restaurant (not the clients) * The prices went up for everything. Yes, I do understand everything got more expensive, but, somehow I feel it has to be consistent with everything else. Also, if the price goes up at least keep the quantity. Examples: all cocktails got more expensive, but, before that, most of them were served in big glass, now, the cocktail list has changed and most of them come in small size and because you typically get lot of ice in, the actual cocktail is more of a demo. Also, the mixed salad was decent size, now it got more expensive and comes in a half size bowl !!! Why? In my last visit here I got a steak + a mixed salad and 2 small cocktails ~55 Euro and I left the restaurant hungry, which never happened here before: small steak + small salad ~ 30 Euro. I'm giving overall 2 stars for the kind staff and the overall food quality which is still OK (the burger remains the best choice for the money imo). I feel it's what typically happens with a good restaurant: once it gets enough customers the owners try to optimize the costs and this usually affects the overall quality/service.

Silencer required, you have to shout at each other when the restaurant is full. Food okay. I happened to find the declared parmesan in crumbs on the lettuce leaf, drinks good. Little service staff - the poor... There was always a burning smell coming from the kitchen, unpleasant.

In Ottobrunn the perfect restaurant for a cozy and shared breakfast and dinner. The staff is extremely nice and attentive. And you get good quality for your money.

Hip shop in Ottobrunn, a real trendy shop, so busy in the evening that you can't really have a conversation because of the noise. Good for meeting people who also live in the area.

Very good service. We were there for the short rip Thursday and the food was amazing. To date I have never eaten better meat. And the side dishes were excellent too.

Tasty, but incredibly expensive. Especially the non-alcoholic drinks. Once but not again for the prices

The brunch at Kadu was very tasty, this first. I found the prices for the small dishes too high for the rather remote location. The store was also extremely loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. The service was very friendly, but not very attentive, so you always had to fight for the waiter's attention. There's nothing wrong with the food, it could be a bit better :)

A very nice and beautiful restaurant where you can eat very tasty food. We've been there several times and each time we've enjoyed it and it's been very tasty. We still have two things to complain about, firstly the heat in the restaurant... it's really very warm inside, every time. And secondly, you hear something about prices. It's not cheap.

Our most delicious breakfast! The food is a stunning delight and beautiful to look at. You can tell that everything is prepared by hand with love from good ingredients. The food isn't cheap, but it's definitely worth the money.

Yesterday I went to Kadu for breakfast with my best friend. First of all, we were very excited. With this great atmosphere and friendly service, we immediately felt like we were in good hands. We ate a great smashed croissant from the autumn menu and French toast. The lady from the service staff was very attentive and immediately sensed that we wanted to do "food sharing", as she so beautifully put it, and brought us extra plates. We were also recommended bacon for the French toast, which we personally found very tasty but didn't fit in with the overall composition. However, that is a matter of taste. For us, the smashed croissant was 100% harmonious with all components. We are very satisfied with our visit and would like to come again.

Celebrated my birthday on Tuesday. Nice location, even really comfortable outdoors. Service was very nice and quick. Food really tasty. In short, a successful evening. We'll be back 👍🏻🎊

I love coming here for breakfast every now and then. The menu doesn't offer a huge selection, but it's always delicious. The service changes often, but everyone is always very friendly.

My rating may seem a bit unfair at first... Ambience 3 points too few, but when I sit outside either on the main street or next to the gas station it's not that nice, but inside it's nice. My conclusion: I'm sitting on the main street in Ottobrunn next to a gas station and pay €9.90 for an Aperol Spritz with lots of ice and water doesn't fit

We were just there for coffee! Then we were kindly given water at the table (thought it would be free since tap water was in a large carafe) and in the end we also had to pay for the water with the coffee. If that's all. If done this way, then I don't recommend the kadu!

Are often here and it is always very nice :) We ate ribs on Thursday and they were super tasty - service was top :)

It was super tasty...the portions were also quite large...the price was a bit higher...but you get more for that...I thought it was good and would come back

Very cool shop, top waiters. We had the avocado bread and the French toast. Both with bacon and that was really tasty. My answer to the question of how the French toast tasted was antisocially good. It's something different for breakfast and it definitely won't be the last time.

The best Bircher muesli of my life. We were all very excited and unfortunately we have only been there twice so far.

I would have given it 5 Stars but we received some cream that was spoiled, they compensated by removing it from the bill, which we are grateful for, but my Kids had a bad experience because of it. We really like going for the eggs in the morning it is a good spot for breakfast or brunch

Delicious Abokatto Brot, very well seasoned, the coffee strong and at a good temperature, but above all a children's menu that allows you to bring small children to breakfast without any problems. The staff is friendly and sweet with children

The ribs are the disgusting thing I have ever smelled or eaten. The ribs that are served there every 1st Thursday of the month stink like a dead animal in the desert. You almost vomit on the table. I couldn't even eat the sauce that came with it because even that tasted like dead animals 🤢

We ordered there for the first time and it was incredibly tasty even when we got home! The portions could be slightly larger but otherwise really great! 😊

Experience cooking with a difference. Great dishes prepared and served with a lot of passion. Compromises just for the ambience. You can't sugarcoat the gas station opposite.

The food is very tasty, the selection is large and the service is extremely friendly. Beautifully centrally located in Ottobrunn. There are also enough parking spaces, either directly in front of the restaurant or on the street.

Kådu is a wonderful restaurant. You feel comfortable, the service is nice and the food is unique. I don't like every dish, but the ones that do taste really good! There are fancy drinks, a real bartender and occasional specials. We always like to come back! PS: If you like something hearty, you should definitely try the Maple Chicken Roll (first picture)

Just perfect! I was surprised by my dearest friends at my bachelorette party. My friend was allowed to decorate the table decorations. The lovely waitress Dani was just a very warm mouse and neither pushed nor neglected us. She served us well, was attentive and warm. There was even a small chocolate cake on the house for me and strawberry limes for the girls. The food was awesome. All in one thank you ❤️

The ambience is very nice, it is very nicely decorated and the tables are also nice. Even when it's raining, it's always comfortable. We met the family there. It was very nice, the staff was also really nice and the service was good. We were also allowed to move around because it would get dark in the evening and you could see the stars from the window. The food was good, but not great. We ate a burger, salad, meat and something else. The burger wasn't cooked through so we had to go back and fry it again but otherwise it was delicious. Parking spaces are available but the view of the Shell Pharmacy is not that nice from the inside, but it is very nicely designed with a wall made of fake green leaves and LED writing. The bar is very nice and they have a large selection of drinks and food is very modern

Nice place with tables outside on a street corner. The waiter was very kind and brought our kids kids' menus they can draw on and colors almost immediately. The food was great (we were there with a friend who had a non vegetarian dish while we had vegan dishes. Looks like she enjoyed hers, but I can't speak for the non vegan stuff). Would come again (and probably have the same dish, it was delicious).

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and as a larger group with different tastes we were all very happy. Good selection also for vegetarians and vegans, many non-alcoholic options and large selection of drinks. The service was very friendly, the food was served quickly and was incredibly tasty. The map was generally very well thought out. Everything was completed to our complete satisfaction. We'd love to come back.

First of all, the service was an A! Very accommodating and very polite! Now to eat: some avocado, with a burrata and a poached egg on two small pigs of bread for 17€? Unfortunately, price-performance doesn't fit at all! A portion of fries with synthetic truffle oil €8.70? One can already speak of exorbitant prices here. Unfortunately the first and last time I was there!

The place is decorated super cute. Although less attractive from the outside, the interior is very stylish! The service was terrific - super attentive service ladies! The menu is quite clear - but our dishes were really tasty. Prices are high, but food is good value!

The three of us ate at Kådu. Service was friendly, but it was quite loud in the restaurant. Had fries with grilled vegetables and hollondaise sauce, which unfortunately was only served lukewarm. The bowl was okay, but the vegan teriyaki meat was very firm. We also had the maple chicken roll, which was on the menu with a juicy brioche bun...but the bun was very disappointing, it was hard, tough and was hard to cut...it wasn't brioche either, more like a cheap baked roll from the discounter, the topping is quite sour and filled with ready-made products....French fries for €5.90 have to be paid extra as a side dish, the ketchup also costs €0.30 extra...all in all okay, but too expensive for them Products served...In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right.

☕️ We found KADU Café and Restaurant completely by chance via Google Maps (Google My Business). It's a shame we didn't google it sooner because we really liked it here. Very comfortable, both at the bar and in the normal seating area. The food, dessert and coffee taste excellent. All employees very friendly. Thanks!

Too many tables, so the staff unfortunately has no overview. We waited almost 40 minutes for a beer and a café, then food came after 50 minutes. We were there on Sunday at 1 p.m. Very nice staff but unfortunately overwhelmed by the many tables to generate maximum sales.

A very nice and actually cozy breakfast/brunch/dinner place. Unfortunately, the background noise is incredibly loud when all tables are occupied. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about, the food is delicious and very nicely presented. The service was extremely friendly and present. Gladly again at any time!

Essen ist super aber leider ist das Warten auf das Essen und die Getränke sehr lange. Ich muss auch sagen das dass Frühstück zwar eine Super Qualität hat aber im allgemeinen sehr Teuer ist

Tolles Café mit super leckerem Essen. Hier passt geschmacklich einfach alles - ob Frühstück, der Burger mittags oder der Cappuccino. Tolle Location.

Waren abends zu viert hier. Das Essen war hammer (Milk Roll Buns und Buddha Bowl) und auf Sonderwünsche wurde ohne Probleme eingegangen. Die Kellnerin war unheimlich sympathisch! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schmackhaftes Essen, teilweise Neue Ideen von Speisen, hoher wohlfühl Faktor.

Ein schöner Ort für Lunch & Brunch bis 16:00 Uhr. Danach gibt's Dinner. 🙂 Das Restaurant hat einen gemütlichen Außenbereich und ist innen größer als es scheint. Das Essen wird schön zubereitet und schmeckt sehr gut. Der Service ist höflich und nett. 👍 Der Zugang ist nicht barrierefrei (eine Stufe) und es gibt drei, vier kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Tür. Ich hatte einen Black-Bun Burger für den Preis von 13,90€ und das in Ordnung. Er hat wirklich lecker geschmeckt und dazu gibt es mehrere Möglichkeiten von Beilagen beispielsweise Parmesan-Trüffel Fritten. 😁

Große Portionen bleiben in Erinnerung ! Aber nicht nur ! Leckeres Essen in gechillter Atmosphäre genossen. Aufmerksame Bedienungen sorgen für einen glatten Verlauf. Kann ich gerne empfehlen.

...sehr nettes Personal, immer freundlich -seit der Übernahme scheint der Laden zu "brummen"; ist teilweise ohne Reservierung schwierig einen Platz zu bekommen. Ich habe bisher nicht dort gegessen, aber es dah immer gut aus auf den Tellern; das Ambiente ist schick und man fühlt sich gleich heimisch. Einziges Manko ist die Akustik; es ist sehr laut.

Un buen lugar para desayunar, con una ambiente tranquilo y un excelente servicio. Ofrecen café en prensa Francesa, lo cual es poco común en Munich
