Very nice Japanese restaurant, exceeded my expectations sincerely. I have ordered Yakkiniku-Teishoku, miso soup was flavorful and warming: excellent for cold winter days. Green salad was complimentary with tender and tasty beef slices. Definitely recommend!

What a surprise!!! I’d never have guessed that this place has such an amazing food!!! It surely became my favourite Japanese restaurant in Berlin! This not the typical sushi place, but rather more on hot/cooked meals. The flavours are absolutely on point, how amazing! 1000/10 The only thing not so inviting is the atmosphere since it’s located in a food court

My boyfriend and I visited this place, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a positive experience. He ordered the Japanese curry with chicken katsu, and it was noticeably raw inside. Since he doesn’t speak German, I went to let the staff know and asked if they could please redo it. The response was disappointing—rather than apologizing or immediately offering to correct the mistake, the staff member looked at me as if I was being unreasonable and said they’d “redo a part of the rawness.” I explained that since the sauce and other elements had touched the raw chicken, it would be best to remake the entire dish for food safety reasons. Instead of acknowledging the issue, she started explaining how the katsu is “slow-cooked, then fried”—information that didn’t help with the problem we were facing. Only after I asked for the plate back to take a photo did she finally agree to redo it. For a meal that cost 22 Euros, we expected properly cooked food and a basic level of customer service. It wasn’t about the mistake, but rather her attitude and unwillingness to acknowledge it. A simple apology and assurance they’d make it right would have gone a long way. Sadly, we left feeling disappointed and won’t be back.

I ordered the udon beef bowl. Short answer nothing special. If you have time and energy you'll find better in berlin. The broth was good, the bonito and Udon was soggy (boiled too long for my taste) and there wasn't much meat. (Meat was tasty tho) Waiting time was 22 minutes during rush hour. The curry sauce was salty but otherwise not bad.

We visited Japan this year and have been looking for authentic Japanese cuisine ever since. This was really the first store that came close to the level in Tokyo. The curry in particular was so close because it didn't have the usual Indian touch. Absolute recommendation and my favorite in the mall.

The Wagyu and roast beef salad was simply fantastic and all the ingredients including vegetables were 100% on point. The preparation happens right in front of your eyes when you sit at the counter. Absolute recommendation and definitely worth the price.

On of the best places I’ve been so far in Berlin and definitely the best one for the price/quality ratio. An open kitchen and a professional chef bring a pleasure for eyes even before trying a meal. The way of cooking of the chef is just an art! Food is served amazingly — a dish looks minimalistic and again brings the visual pleasure. 🍱 And food… the delicate tastes… sauces… meat is extremely delicious! Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful experience again and again!

Most of the restaurants I’ve had in this mall are mid especially relative to its price, but I tried the Japanese curry with omelette and beef here and it was actually good. The omelette is cooks to a gooey perfection, just like how you’d expect it to be in Japan. The curry is yummy and the chunks of beef add great texture and flavour. Most importantly, it’s €12 for the base version and €15 to upgrade with an omelette and beef. Actually decent pricing!

I've only eaten here twice so far, but the Okonoyaki is really okay for Berlin. Unfortunately the price is a bit excessive and the atmosphere is very un-relaxed.

In the Manifesto Food Court there are a number of restaurants that have good things to offer. But in my opinion the Kabuki stands out. While the atmosphere is clearly influenced by the surrounding other restaurants and food court decor, Kabuki, like Soot opposite, feels a bit more upscale. The kitchen looks tidy and it's fun to take a look at the process when your own food is being prepared. I had a beef okonomiyaki that looked and tasted amazing. For 16 euros I got completely full and was completely happy. Kabuki also offers a wine list, as well as other fantastic dishes. Unfortunately I had to deduct a star for the service. The professional I spoke to was completely professional, very nice and courteous. I was told before I ordered that I would have to wait about 15 minutes, which was true. The only drawback is that there is no alarm like the other restaurants to indicate when the food is ready. I don't know if that was an exception that day or if it's always like that. But since the food court is spread over two floors, I found it minimally annoying to have to constantly keep an eye on the time in order to pick up my food on time. However, this still doesn't change the fact that my overall experience at this restaurant was outstanding, so I'm sticking with the overall 5 stars. I'll be happy to come back when I get the chance :)

Not cheap and you should take a bit of time with you. But the food is very tasty and the service is friendly and attentive.

This was our first time at Kabuki, and we were surprised that it is located in the corner of a food court. As our meal began, the food court melted away, and we had an amazing evening. The kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and talented crew produced one of the finest teppanyaki meals we've had. Definitely check it out.

Everything was amazing. Excellent Japanese A5 wagyu and german wagyu steaks. And the shrimp and truffle dumplings were also delicious. Thank you!!

The omelette is a let down. White rice, probably not stir-fried, with onion and shrimp wrapped with thin omelette. The personals looked like they don't want to take guests.

Ich war das erste mal im Kabuki, es ist mal etwas anderes als in anderen Restaurants. Der super Nette Koch zaubert das Essen auf den Teller, man sieht dabei zu, es beruhigt einen und man kann wunderbar entspannen. Das Essen ist köstlich, sowie die Japanischen Getränke und natürlich der Sake :). Ich hatte einen tollen Abend und die Bedienung ist einfach japanisch, nett und zuvorkommend. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder und kann es nur empfehlen.

Alles war perfekt, nicht nur das Essen war ausgezeichnet sondern auch die Präsentation und das Personal, wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Great food, great service and it's always a pleasure to watch the chef delicately prepare the dishes! The Yakiniku and Akabeko are particularly recommended, but the other dishes are also great and very authentic (e.g. Okonomiyaki, Wagyu Curry).

Tasty food and a good variety of options in the menu: there are more expensive dishes but also tasty lunch options at an affordable price. I have already tried 3-4 different dishes and they are all good.

Amazing place, the seafood okonomi-yaki is amazing and the staff are very nice. I'll definitely come here again.

I'm really surprised by all the positive reviews. Today we were there for the first time because we wanted to experience Japanese tepanyaki. 1. The chef can't communicate with us at all because he doesn't speak English or German. 2. The food looked and tasted like food from a snack bar. We also ordered the Wagyu meat A5. When I saw the meat I had to ask again whether it really came from Japan. We have eaten wagyu several times but it tastes and looks 100% different. Maybe there are different types that we don't know, but it was definitely a big disappointment for us.

Ein authentisches japanisches Teppanyaki Erlebnis. Wir waren zu 5 und haben 3 verschiedene Hauptgerichte (Wagyu Beef, Fisch, vegetarisch) und Vorspeisen gehabt. Alle verwendeten Produkte waren von der höchsten Qualität. Während der Zubereitung hat der Koch die Produkte und einige Schritte erklärt. Er hat uns mit seinen Fertigkeiten begeistert. Schade nur, dass sich das Restaurant im open space befindet und die Atmosphäre bzw Geräuschkulisse drum herum etwas störend wirken. Trotz allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Fleisch war fantastisch und toll gewürzt, man kann bei der Zubereitung zuschauen. Die Köche sind super nett, man sitzt halt nicht in einem geschlossenen Restaurant sondern in einem Foodcourt, aber das Essen ist es wert.

Tried the mixed grill for 2 people. Simply Perfect.

We tried the duck and soup as starters, and the rib-eye steak and prawn & scallops as mains. All were super tasty and different to anything we've tried before. Delicate and layered flavours yet somehow still punchy and interesting tastes. The chef is really skilled and friendly, he interacted with us and shared interesting facts. Sad the meal is over! Definitely recommended. Hint: The meal advert cards at the front of their bar just aren't good enough to showcase the food or experience.

Wir waren an einem Donnerstag Abend hier und haben kein Platzproblem gehabt. Für uns beide war es das erste Mal, dass wir Teppanyaki erlebt haben. Wir waren begeistert von dem Essen und dem Livekochen. Das Fleisch war weich wie eine Wolke und saftig schmackhaft - ein Gedicht. Die Terriyakisauce war unfassbar lecker, ebenso wie alle Beilagen und der Reis. Ich weis nicht, wann ich das letzte mal so begeistert von Essen war. Auf jeden Fall den Preis wert, den wir gezahlt haben.

Ich habe überlegt ob ich folgendes guten gewissens schreiben kann und ich bin zu dem Entschluss gekommen: ja kann ich. Es ist das beste was ich in meinen 31 Jahren auf dieser Erde gegessen habe. Es gab nichts wo ich hätte sagen können: "das hätte man besser machen müssen". Das Fleisch Butterzart und die einzelnen Komponenten auf dem Teller einzigartig im Geschmack und doch harmonieren sie perfekt zusammen. Danke für dieses Geschmacksfeuerwerk mein Gaumen kribbelt immernoch. 10 von 10.

Wir haben das Menü mit Steak und Fisch probiert. Es war alles ausnahmslos frisch und suuuuper lecker. Das Live-Cooking war eine tolle Erfahrung und eine Attraktion in sich. Der Chef-Koch war hat alles hübsch auf unsere Teller drapiert und eine kurze Erklärung zu den Gerichten und Gewürzen gegeben. Ich freue mich jetzt schon aufs nächste Mal

Wir sitzen immer noch hier und haben uns direkt entschieden eine Rezension zu schreiben! Das Fleisch, generell das Essen, war sensationell! Man kann beobachten wie das Essen frisch zu bereitet und serviert wird. Das Fleisch & der fisch zergehen auf der Zunge! Das Personal sehr nett. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Um unfassbar gutes Essen zu essen auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Live-Show-Cooking vom Feinsten! Nachdem wir dort gegessen hatten, musste ich sofort eine Rezension hinterlassen. Eine sehr gute Qualität in einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Die beiden Jungs sind super talentiert und man merkt sofort, dass Sie Ihr Handwerk bestens kennen. Kochtechniken die man so nur aus Japan kennt. Es hat total Spaß gemacht zuzuschauen und dazu, hat das Essen wirklich seeehr gut und authentisch geschmeckt! Wir kommen zu 100% wieder!

We expected more "Teppan Yaki" athmosphere, but this was more like a Mc Donalds. Had to order drink (beer) in another restaurant and bring to KABUKI.

Ein Erlebnis - bei der sehr sorgfältigen Zubereitung zuzuschauen macht schon großen Spaß und serviert wird mit einer Blumenblüte als Dekoration. Das Highlight ist aber das Geschmackserlebnis. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich kenne das Restaurant aus Frankfurt und war positiv überrascht, es auch im Playce zu finden. Teriyaki Chicken war ausgezeichnet!

Heute durfte ich den Meistern beim Kochen zuschauen. In der offenen Showküche war es ein interessantes Erlebnis zu sehen, wie auf den zwei heißen Metallplatten unser Essen entstand. Neben den frischen Zutaten wurden zum Teil Soßen individuell zusammengestellt. Absolut eine Empfehlung, für begeisterte Fans der japanischen Küche. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein neues Teppanyaki Restaurant am Potsdamer Platz. Ich bin begeistert wie das Essen vor mir zubereitet wird. Es schmeckt unglaublich und die Hauseigene Teriyaki sauce, ein Traum. Mein neues Lieblingsrestaurant. Sehr sehr gerne wieder.
