Jule's Hafenschänke in Würzburg

A cozy, rustic restaurant, everything clean and tidy. It's somewhat hidden in the harbor area. The food (schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad) was delicious, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced.

We all enjoyed it, most of which we cooked ourselves. We'd love to come back.

Simple but delicious Franconian cuisine. Excellent value for money. A rarity in Würzburg these days. I'll definitely go back. 🙌🙌

While you're waiting for your food, you can hear the chef pounding the schnitzels in the kitchen! Where else can you get that? Absolutely delicious!

In the US, a place like this would be called a trucker's bar. And that's a huge compliment! Authentic, good, homemade food of first-class quality. Rustic atmosphere, good cuisine

I don't understand the reviews. Located in an industrial area, between large warehouses, train carriages, and shipping containers. The beer garden needs to be tidied up; there are old windows lying around. The food is a matter of taste; we didn't like it that much. The sauce could have been better. Drinks were good. The restrooms smelled of old urine. The service was nice and friendly. The price/performance ratio was rather poor.

We happened upon this place by chance. The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous. We'll be back.

Since we weren't very hungry, we ordered a main course for €12.80 each and asked for an extra plate (a "robber's plate"). When we got the bill, we were both charged €11.80 each, with the comment that a small plate would cost the same. This would never have happened under the previous owner, Reinhard. We had to pay €2 for additional cutlery, and that was that. It's a shame, terrible, and outrageous how they treat their regular customers.

We had meatballs and schnitzel for dinner. It arrived in about 10 minutes, so it was super fast. The prices were reasonable, too. The staff was very friendly. 5/5⭐️ Very tasty!!!

Very tasty food and very good portion. The price is not too expensive considering the portion. It's as if time has stood still in the Hafenschänke. But it is very comfortable. Everything is clean from the dining room to the sanitary facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will visit this place again and again with my family when I am nearby. I can only recommend the Hafenschänke and wish the next visitors a good appetite and a pleasant stay.

Traditional German Gasthaus (increasingly difficult to find these days) serving generous portions of tasty, everyday German meals and drinks. It's typically frequented by locals and people who work in the surrounding industrial zone of the Würzburg harbour on the river Main. It has a nice, friendly atmosphere and is reasonably priced. Worth visiting! 😊

It's a pleasure to find an original inn that serves freshly prepared dishes. The landlady is very friendly and attentive and cooks herself. I didn't manage to do everything. Further visits to Würzburg are on the agenda.

A rustic, cozy tavern with excellent Franconian dishes. There is no skimping on portions. The prices are surprisingly low for this excellent culinary delight (especially these days). The service is extremely friendly and accommodating. Here you not only feel comfortable, you feel at home and welcome here. I like to leave tips there. Very clear recommendation!!!

A place where you can still eat and drink for a normal price

We were in the beer garden. Food is very good. Unfortunately the waiter can't keep his mouth shut. Always ready for a stupid comment.

A very great restaurant. The employees are very alert and keep an eye on the customers to ensure they have an empty drink. The food was good and sufficient. I really liked the atmosphere because I prefer older, rustic restaurants. I can only recommend:)

If you want to feel the local German atmosphere, you can go there. Although it was a bit salty, I enjoyed the thick schnitzel and French fries with beer.

Eine wirklich sehr gemütliche Gaststätte mit Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre, netten Menschen und perfektem Essen! Die Bratkartoffeln lassen sich nicht besser zubereiten, das Salatdressing war hervorragend und das Seelachsfilet perfekt auf den Punkt gebraten und geschmacklich perfekt. Auch der Apfelwein war sehr gut. Alles in allem war es ein gelungener Abend. Ich hoffe, das baldmöglichst wiederholen zu können. Würde ich nicht 35 km entfernt wohnen, wäre ich täglich in Jule‘s wunderbarer Hafenschänke 💓

Die Hafenschänke ist noch eine Gaststätte "Alter Art". Urige Ausstattung, es gibt noch einen Tresen für ein erfrischendes Bier. Hier gibt es auch keine Zeitbegrenzung und das Kartenspielen ist gern gesehen. Das Essen gefüllt Schnitzel, Neudeutsch Cordonbleu, ist weltklasse. Schon lange nicht mehr so ein Gutes gegessen. Dazu ein erstklassiger Service. Wir können die Schränke nur empfehlen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

..um es kurz zu sagen: "Hervorragend". FRÄNKISCHE KÜCHE, so wie es auf der Speisekarte steht. Hervorzuheben ist das Schnitzel - "Geheimtipp". Haben dies heute Mittag unterm Sonnenschirm genossen. Preis Leistungsverhältnis topp. Wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei. Bilder der Gasrstätte sowie des Aussenbereichs sind genügend vorhanden - deshalb habe ich keinen eigenen Bilder gemacht.

Schöner Biergarten und gutes Essen

Super lecker Essen, Parkplätze vor dem Haus, wenn nicht gerade ein Treffen des örtlichen Motorradclubs stattfindet.

Richtig tolle urige Hafenschänke mit leckerem Essen und tollem Service. Hat sich gelohnt dafür einen kleinen Umweg mit dem Rad zu fahren! Super!

Ein sehr gutes Lokal und sehr Kinderfreundlich. Das Schnitzel war super und die Bratkartoffeln schön mit Speck. Wenn man wieder in der Nähe ist gerne wieder.
