It was our first time there. The food was delicious and something different, the service was OK, and the ambiance was very modern and minimalist. We'll definitely be back.

Four of us had lunch there. The food was excellent, the service was very friendly and came frequently to ask if everything was okay. We were very satisfied. And we didn't have to wait long.

Lack of professionalism and unpleasant atmosphere ​I was very disappointed with my visit to Josef's Wirtshaus. While I was there, two people were sitting outside drinking beer bottles they had obviously brought from the supermarket. Even more disappointing was that the restaurant owner saw this and did nothing about it. The owner's behavior and the entire situation were very unpleasant. Sitting in a restaurant and allowing something like this to happen makes you feel harassed. I will not be visiting this establishment again and cannot recommend it.

The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The service was friendly, but everything took a very, very long time—from taking orders to paying—even though the restaurant was far from full. Prices were quite high.

Actually a nice place. Unfortunately, my meal was very bad. I had a Viennese-style pork schnitzel. The meat had no flavor, was completely flat, and seemed pressed together. Worst schnitzel in years, and I can't recommend the currywurst either. Only the beer tasted good... What a shame...

The service leaves something to be desired. Don't ask for too much, otherwise the staff will be overbooked. Every change in the meal costs money. I've had better in Germany. When the tip is paid, the staff becomes polite.

We also had to wait 1:15 hours for our food, even though there were hardly any guests there. Orders with paperwork are simply no longer appropriate for a quick process and are not suitable for overwhelmed staff.

The food is unfortunately very mediocre yet extremely expensive. I’m not sure if the owner of the restaurant is the same as the owner of the Dorint hotel, but it’s so strange how they’ve had quite negative reviews for a while now, I’ve been to eat there about seven times and nothing has changed. It’s like they don’t care. The place has a lot of potential, but you really need to change the chef and start again.

Yes, but you shouldn't expect too much because the name actually suggests more choice, unfortunately it's more like a snack bar.

We were with bigger team. The meal was ordered days before but it didn't help. I ordered wiener schnitzel unfortunately it was far away from anything ... and after my disappointment the dessert was served ... my lord, did you ever eat cake with ice cream that was rather frozen water ... fail.

I tried the lunch menu. The chicken dish in the display case was not there (wrong menu displayed). Then I took the Strammen Max. I found €10.90 (additional items paid extra) for a mini portion audacious. At least the service was friendly.

We went there for dinner several times with a larger group and didn't have a good experience. It usually takes a long time until you drink your first drink and the food also takes what feels like an eternity. The wheat beer is rarely filled to the calibration mark. Fried chicken and the potato salad were dry and tasted like nothing. The duck was also totally dry and almost inedible. The advance greeting from the kitchen is served with stale bread or rolls. The entrecôte dish of the day was not even lukewarm but cold for all 5 guests and still had to be made (total time approx. 1.5 hours!!!). All in all not recommended.

Service very friendly, but everything is always terribly complicated, food is okay but overly expensive. You can do it, but it's a shame for the location.

Had dinner today. I ordered a veal schnitzel with potato salad. First we waited a long time for our food and then the food wasn't convincing. Potato salad tasted like nothing at all and the veal schnitzel [more breadcrumbs than meat] wasn't a hit either. After all, you have to pay, say, €29 for it. I think every housewife can do it better.

Everything was great. The burger was very tasty and the portion was good! The sandwich was also great.

Schnitzel half raw... Served again with the same schnitzel - was it fried again in the general pan? Loooong waiting times

Chic atmosphere but the food was unsatisfactory, the César salad was watered down and the dressing was discounter quality. The meat patty was very bland and unseasoned. The potato salt was also unseasoned. The cheese pätzle is very creamy and not cheesy. Unfortunately the portions were out of proportion for the price. Could it also be that the kitchen was overwhelmed today because of the football game in the Alianzarena?

Ambience ok. A little too open for Bavarian cosiness. Food incredibly expensive but service and taste not as good as the price would require. The food wasn't bad - the price was really just extremely high. Wouldn't come again.

EVERYTHING was great, great buffet, plentiful and very tasty 😋, it's a shame that in the evening after the FCB football game the restaurant closes at 9 p.m. BUT great and nice service (employees).

Tolles Personal und leckeres Essen

Duck and Kaiserschmarrn were great, but the schnitzel was reduced to 1mm and had 80% breading. The friendly waitresses provided coffee and schnapps free of charge as an apology :)

Nice hotel. It smells new. Convenient access, underground parking. Clean and large rooms. Nice views from the window when you wake up. I recommend.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aber teilweise scheinbar noch in der Einarbeitung. Bei den Bieren wurde einiges durcheinander geworfen. Das angebotene Radler war zum Beispiel kein Radler sondern ein Radeberger Pils.

Sehr feines Ambiente, leckeres Essen. 1 Stern Abzug für zu wenig Soße beim Schweinsbraten, außerdem war die Soße eher langweilig. Alles in allem aber leckeres Essen, nette Bedienungen und wunderschönes Restaurant.

Die Bedienung Super freundlich. Sehr bemüht. Ich würde nur mein Kalbsschnitzel in anderem Fett braten. Und etwas goldiger gebraten aus der Küche geben. Der Eingang ist so Dunkel das man als Gast nicht sicher ist ob offen ist. Schade bei so netten Personal. Der Mann an der Bar könnte etwas freundlicher sein. Wir kommen wieder in vier Wochen. Waren letzte Woche mit einer Gruppe Kollegen zum Abendessen dort. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und auch den ganzen Abend über war das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Ambiente ist nicht unbedingt "Wirtshaus-typisch" sondern eher schlicht-modern; man spürt, dass der Laden noch ziemlich neu ist - gemütlich ist es trotzdem. Die Auswahl an unterschiedlichen Gerichten auf der Abendkarte etwas überschaubar; aber wir waren alle zufrieden mit unserer Auswahl. Die Portionen sind gut und schön angerichtet - das Essen war sehr lecker. Preisniveau würde ich als leicht gehoben beschreiben. Aus meiner Sicht ist das Restaurant durchaus einen Besuch wert!

Angenehmes Ambiete, gutes Essen und freundliches Personal. Leider passen zumindest Mittags Portionsgrößen und Preise oft nicht zusammen. Mit einer kleinen Karte kann ich leben, aber satt werden wäre schon geil.

Wir waren vergangene Woche zum ersten Mal dort. Das Ambiente ist modern und schick gehalten. Man sitzt sehr gemütlich da. Die Auswahl ist eher gering mittags, aber wir haben alle was gefunden. Es war auch offensichtlich selbst gemacht und kein Fertiggericht. Es hat wirklich gut geschmeckt. Der Preis für das Essen ist in Ordnung, allerdings sind die Getränke dafür recht Teuer.

Die Reservierung war leider umständlich (konnte nicht gleich am Telefon bestätigt werden, deshalb war ein zweiter Anruf nötig). Zum Mittagessen ist die Karte deutlich reduziert, ein vegetarisches Gericht gibt es nur auf Nachfrage. Obwohl die Portionen klein sind, ist das Essen lecker und wird frisch zubereitet. Das Servicepersonal war nett und zuvorkommend. Vielleicht probiere ich es abends nochmal aus...

Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich. Sonntag Mittag gibt es leider nur eine kleine Speisekarte. D.h. kalte Gerichte und Wiener Schnitzel. Bei der Reservierung sowie bei späteren, gezielten Nachfragen wurde uns dies leider nicht kommuniziert. Das geplante Mittagessen war somit nicht möglich.

Alles super, ich kann die anderen Bewertungen nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Mittagstisch ist für ein Hotel in der Kategorie und auch generell günstig, 9,50€ und Portion ist absolut ausreichend. Auch die restliche Mittagskarte ist attraktiv. Waren auch schon einmal abends da, dort ist die Speisekarte deutlich raffinierter und auch sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder ob in der Mittagspause oder abends privat.
