Gemütliche Atmosphäre mit urigen und sehr freundlichem Wirt. Die Speisen waren alle lecker. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Auf der Druchfahrt nach Norden: bester Kaiserschmarrn ever 😊 und total hundefreundlich 🐶 danke für das tolle 2. Frühstück 😉

Das Essen war einfach nur super lecker. Es gab nichts auszusetzen. Der nette Kellner mit den langen Haaren hatte immer einen lustigen Spruch auf den Lippen und war auch wirklich bemüht und hat immer nachgefragt ob alles gut ist. Wir waren zwei Mal da, einmal zum Mittag und einmal zum Abendessen. Beide Male einfach nur glücklich und mit vollem Bauch guter Laune raus gegangen. 😊

Ich komme regelmäßig aus Wien nach Garching, um meine Tochter zu besuchen, und ein Besuch im „Mei Wirtshaus“ gehört für uns jedes Mal dazu. Das Essen ist wirklich ausgezeichnet und die Qualität überzeugt mich immer wieder aufs Neue. Besonders empfehlen kann ich das Wiener Schnitzel aus der Kalbsoberschale , perfekt zubereitet und genauso, wie man es sich wünscht. Auch das Bauernpfandl (Tiroler Gröstl mit Ochsenauge) war hervorragend. Der Spargel mit Rinderfilet war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet und perfekt auf den Punkt zubereitet. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Kaiserschmarrn, der einfach klasse war. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe gekocht wird. Dazu kommen ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente sowie ein freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Klare Empfehlung!

Ich esse gerne mit meiner ganzen Familie hier. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und die Qualität ist sehr gut.

Sehr nettes Personal Schöner Abend bei der Veranstaltung " Vogelmayer " kommen wieder .

Wir hatten hier am 1. Mai einen schönen Vormittag im Biergarten gehabt. Nette Bedienung und leckeres Essen.

Ich wurde schnell und freundlich bedient. Die Spargelcremesuppe war nicht so ganz mein Fall, hat primär nach warmer Milch geschmeckt. Die Haxe war super, Knödel und Krautsalat auch Spitze. Ich wollte noch eine Brezn dazu, die ist untergegangen, nicht so wild habe nicht erneut nachgefragt, bewerte ich daher nicht. Ich würde aufjedenfall nochmal wiederkommen, auch wenn ich die Suppe nicht noch einmal nehmen würde, aber ich denke das ist Geschmacksache. Gemütliches Ambiente.

Mei Wirtshaus - ein echtes Original in Garching Thomas und Doris sind bayerisch-traditionelle Gastgeber, die noch persönlich für die Küche, Gastzufriedenheit und Gemütlichkeit im Wirtshaus stehen. Wir waren mit einer 18-Mann starken Gruppe vor Ort - der Tatarenhut war unser Hauptgericht, der so lecker war, dass man gleich wieder bestellen könnte! Die im Anschluss von unserer Truppe genutzte Kegelbahn (2 Bahnen) ist modern und öffnete uns hinreichend Platz für Spiel und Spaß! Einfach gemütlich! Btw > Mei Wirtshaus hat einen großen, schön angelegten Gastgarten. Also rundherum eine klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren erst gestern wieder im Mei Wirtshaus und sind wie immer begeistert! Ich hatte Spargel, mein Freund eine Schweinshaxn – beides einfach richtig lecker. Wir kommen schon seit Jahren und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Die Qualität ist konstant auf sehr hohem Niveau und es schmeckt jedes Mal einfach sauguad! Wir kommen immer wieder gerne 😊

Ein ganz tolles Wirtshaus. Super freundlicher Service und ein absolut schönes Ambiente. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Sehr herzlicher und zuvorkommend Service, extrem leckeres Essen. Haben auch ohne Reservierung noch einen Platz für vier Personen bekommen - es ist aber, gerade an Spieltagen vom FCB zu empfehlen zu reservieren! Wir waren rundum begeistert!

Sehr sehr nette Bedienung die auch auf unseren Sohn toll eingegangen ist. Die Königsberger Klopse waren leider total versalzen. Der Krustenbraten war gut, aber zu wenig Kruste. Der Kaiserschmarren eher Mittelmaß. Lecker war der Nussschnaps. Preise etwas zu hoch.

Soeben dort gegessen. Tafelspitz mit Kren. Statt einer Krensoße gab es Sauce Hollondaise, kein bisschen Kren am Teller. Das Fleisch durchzogen von Sehnen. Nahezu ungenießbar. Als Angebot für den fast vollständig zurück gegebenen Teller gab es einen Schnapps, welchen ich dankend ablehnte. Selbstverständlich wird das ungenießbare Gericht voll abgerechnet. Setzen 6, in allen Belangen. Das erste und letzte Mal hier eingekehrt.

Solider Mittagstisch, nichts besonderes aber Preis/Leistung in Ordnung.

Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht. Oftmals wird man von gestressten und überforderten Personal empfangen - hier nicht. Sehr freundlich und einladend man fühlte sich gleich wohl. Das typisch bayerische Essen war sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich sehr gut. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren zu dritt dort, es gab für uns: 1x Kasspätzle, 1x Schwabenpfanne, 1x Zwiebelrostbraten und Bier aus dem Fass. Es war alles sehr gut, das Ambiente ist sehr stimmig und angenehm, der Oberhammer ist aber der Chef/Angestellte (?) aus dem Service, man verzeihe mir den Ausdruck Wikinger, aber ich denk, das beschreibt es am Besten - ein sehr authentischer, freundlicher, sehr schneller und aufmerksamer Service-(Mit)arbeiter. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir gerne wieder. Einziges was man eventuell verbessern könnte, wäre ggf ein bisschen krossere Zwiebel am Zwiebelrostbraten und dessen Preis ggf. ein paar Euro an die anderen Gerichte anpassen, der war schon relativ teuer, auch im Vergleich zu anderen, dafür aber auf den Punkt gebraten wie gewollt und sehr schmackhaft. Aber das ist schon Sudern am gehobeneren Niveau :) Das Bier aus dem Fass (glaub Augustiner) ist sehr gut, perfekte Temperatur und war stets äußerst schnell da!

Wir waren am 16.11.2025 im Mei Wirtshaus auf durchreise und wollten eine "Kleinigkeit" Essen. Naja aus der Kleinigkeit wurde dann ein Wildsaubraten mit Semmelknödel. Essen sowie der Kellner eine 10/10. Schön uhrig eingerichtet.

Essen wirklich super! Wir hatten ein Wiener Schnitzel vom Kalb, der Beilagen-Salat war frisch und mit gutem Dressing 🥗 Das Bier hat sehr gut geschmeckt 🍺. Das Ambiente ist klassisch bayerisch-urig, genau das, was man von einem Wirtshaus erwartet. Bedienung sehr sympathisch und aufmerksam. Einziger Wermutstropfen sind die mittlerweile ziemlich saftigen Preise: Für zwei Personen haben wir insgesamt rund 90 € gezahlt. 👉 Insgesamt aber ein sehr guter Besuch – Qualität und Geschmack stimmen, auch wenn es kein günstiger Mittag war.

Ordentliches Schnitzel in Autobahnnähe

Ich bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Der Ablauf war unkompliziert, alles hat reibungslos funktioniert und der Service war freundlich. Die Leistung entsprach meinen Erwartungen und ich hatte ein gutes Gefühl während der gesamten Abwicklung. Kann ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

sind kurz vor ladenschluss ins Lokal gekommen..... das da nicht mehr alles was auf der Speisekarte angeboten werden kann war uns auch klar. Wir haben das 2x Knoblauchbrot mit Dip bestellt sowie die Fleischpflanzerl und einen Rinderbraten mit Kaspatzn.....dazu wurde ein richtig geiles Sauerkraut aufgetischt. Das Essen war hervorragend das bier schmeckt, und Saftschorlen in versch.Variationen verfügbar. Haben insg. 67€ bezahlt Hier muss ich sagen : Preis /Leistung tip top!!!! Highlight war der nette und freundliche Kellner. Sollten wir wieder in der nähe sein,kehren wir natürlich wieder in "mei Wirtshaus" ein

Wir wollten mal wieder "deutsch" essen..da sind wir auf das Mei Wirtshaus gekommen. Der Wirt ist erstklassig, das Ambiente ist ganz okay. Das Essen war super, die Portionen (zu) groß. Service auch sehr gut. Toiletten sehr sauber.

The location and surroundings give no hint of how beautiful Mei Wirtshaus is. Very attentive, friendly, and pleasant service. Without even asking (it wasn't on the menu), our child received a children's schnitzel with the best apple fritters. Roast pork with a crispy crackling and a delicious Swabian-style stew were also available. The prices are absolutely reasonable – the value for money is excellent. The ambiance could be improved. The terracotta walls and the bar are a bit dated, but everything is harmonious, cozy, and well-maintained.

Super friendly service and perfect food. Finally, some typical Bavarian cuisine again.

The food was very good, crispy pork knuckle with a small salad for €20. The service was impeccable; they were always quick and no one went hungry or thirsty. I deducted one star for the ambiance because of the two slot machines on the way to the restroom. Overall, the pub atmosphere could be more pronounced.

Very appealing decor, a good mix of traditional pub charm and modern style. Very friendly, quick, and attentive service. The food was excellent; everyone in our group was satisfied, and you can't go wrong with Augustiner beer. It was quiet on Sunday evening, perhaps due to the location; I can't comment on other weekdays. Our dog was not only accepted but warmly greeted and given water.

Terrible service, letting us wait for super long and the food is definitely not worth the money

Superb food – for a northern German, it all looked authentic 😊. The short drive from the motorway to the restaurant is well worth it. It's not cheap, but the quality and quantity are just right.

A lovely Bavarian restaurant. The waitress: Compliments! Funny, friendly, on the ball!! The food was very good! However, the prices are a bit high, which I don't think is justified. Hence only 4 instead of 5 ☆. I'll be back anyway.

Simply a great inn with an extensive menu and a friendly boss.

Both the roast pork and the pork schnitzel weren't that good. The meat wasn't of great quality, and the sauce and dumplings probably came from Metro. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment, regardless of the price.

The Mei Wirtshaus is a lovely and quiet inn/restaurant with modern Bavarian decor. That's the best way to describe it. Only the background music is a bit annoying at times. The service is friendly and quick, though the portions on the daily specials could be a bit larger for the price. The outdoor dining area is simple. There's no children's playground, though.

We were there for lunch. It wasn't busy. The location is near the industrial area, easily accessible by public transport. We were in the beer garden. The service was fast and friendly. They serve Augustiner and Erdinger for around €5. Too expensive for outside. At Marienplatz, a half-liter costs €3.90. For dinner, we ordered Kasspatzn and Schwabnpfandl for around €26. The menu said Spatzn and Maultasche. What we received was a 1/3 Maultaschen (photo). What's that all about? The Kasspatzn were spicy or, unfortunately, too dry. The best part was the generous and fresh side salad. The lunch special was 90 cents cheaper than the regular menu. So, 1 point deducted for value for money 0.00 points deducted for quality and 0.5 points because the manager can't say "Grüß Gott" or "An Guadn" as he passes by the tables. Not appropriate. The awards are outdated, and the best days are apparently over. Too bad. The highlight was the nice and friendly waiter.

The restaurant has very friendly staff, and our order was delivered relatively quickly. We were also pleased that lunch dishes (here, currywurst) were still being prepared at 6 p.m. I had the roast pork with potato dumplings. The roast pork and dumplings were very tasty, but the sauce was very thick and almost floury in taste. I suspect they use a ready-made thickener for dark sauces, as it tasted very similar to what I make at home. Not good!

A lovely restaurant with a cozy beer garden. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. We would definitely come back if we're in the area.

A truly awesome and beautiful pub! Family-friendly, and the service was super friendly! We'll be happy to come back if we're ever here again! I can't find anything about it online, but they only serve knuckle of pork on Saturdays and Sundays, and only in limited quantities... You have to order it in advance. We were there at 6:30 p.m., and there was only one knuckle left. The service was extremely unfriendly!

The cheese spaetzle were swimming in oil, but it could be better and tastier. I wouldn't order them again. The roast pork had more fat than meat, which was unfortunately very disappointing, as the sauce was also very bland. The schnitzel was, according to our little ones, top-notch. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not good at all. Although for that price, you would expect good quality, which unfortunately wasn't delivered.

Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, but exorbitant prices. We were promised a vegan dish for €20. We got a halved boiled potato, half a bell pepper, and two slices of eggplant. That's really cheeky and a complete rip-off. A realistic price for the dish we ordered would be somewhere between €3 and €5.

Yum-yum was great! Friendly staff! ! Considering the weather was nice, dinner on the semi-covered terrace and large garden was a HUGE hit! It's clean and tidy. Thank you, see you!

I can recommend Djeses Gasthaus with a clear conscience. We were there with 10 people, and everyone enjoyed it. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious!

The food was quite good. All I would like to say is that the price/performance ratio is not right, but the taste is good. Unfortunately, service was a complete disaster. There were 2 waitresses because neither of them really wanted to serve. When we were there, there was football going on and the older of the two just stood at the regulars' table for the entire 1 1/2 hours that we were there, watching and serving the table. We think the other service has just started over and was unfortunately already overwhelmed with 4 tables. Drinks and food came pretty quickly and then we didn't see anyone else with us for 40 minutes. There was also no response to a show of hands. After I went there and said we would like to pay, it took another 15 minutes until someone came. Again said there were 4 other tables there. So there wasn't much going on where people can forgive something like that again. All in all you can say the food was good but too expensive and the service was unfortunately very disappointing.

The food was okay, but the service was unfriendly, as if she didn't feel like working.

The food was simply tasteless. The cheese pätzle didn't taste like cheese but like fat. The wild garlic spaetzle tasted absolutely nothing like wild garlic. Only after a moldy cheese that was inedible. Even though there was no bacon in it, it had the taste of it. Since we used the bowling alley at the same time, we had 0 service. The food wasn't served just put in the elevator. Not once did anyone come and ask if we needed anything else or if everything was okay. Poor to no service. Food without taste. We won't be coming back.

Everything was top-notch: generous portions, excellent food, friendly service, and all at affordable prices. The Kaiserschmarn (smothered pancakes) was a dream! We'd gladly go back!

Location is good. Unfortunately the Kässpätzle were not that good (6 out of 10), The salad was great. The schnitzel was good. Drinks order was forgotten (but it was shortly before closing time)

From the ambience to the food, average, but the price is very high. 2 beers, 1 Sprite, 1 schnitzel, a Swabian pan + 2 espressos = 79€. There were two of us. The food was very mediocre. It's a shame we expected more from Bavarian cuisine.

Rustic but high-quality food. The service was very child-friendly.

The food was okay, but cold when it arrived. We waited a really long time. Some of the prices are unrealistically high (€30 for a schnitzel??). The atmosphere is cute—typically Bavarian. There were communication issues with the service, unfortunately. But all in all, I think we might have just been unlucky that day. I wouldn't go there again, but I don't regret going. That's why I chose the happy medium with 3 stars :)

We arrived quite early for dinner on a Friday evening and surprisingly it wasn't too busy. We were immediately welcomed by very attentive and friendly service throughout the rest of the evening. The food came quickly and was really very good. At the end, a very clear recommendation must definitely be made for the outstanding Kaiserschmarrn - definitely don't miss it. Either plan enough space for this or enjoy it with at least two people, the portion is generous.

Highly recommended! Super tasty, rustic restaurant, very nice staff - top! The dishes could be 1-2€ cheaper but quality comes at a cost. Everything done right!

In summary, very disappointing. The cheese spaetzle only tasted like oil and not like cheese. The Kaiserschmarrn was certainly from the freezer, homemade, but flat as a fried egg and was wobbly. Not worthy of the well-known Bavarian cuisine. The best thing was the Spezi, because it was Paulaner Spezi and they offered to pack up the leftover food!

If you want to eat Bavarian food, then it is recommended. Normal people, not “Munich people”.

Very good food, a nice concept with the dance on Sunday and a very nice owner who is happy to have time for a chat at the table! This is how Bavarian pub culture should be lived! Gladly again!

We chose this place by chance because we were waiting for the motorcycle at the Kawa dealer. The crusty roast meal was amazing. The service staff polite and funny 😂. We'll be happy to come back here for the next service. There is also a beautiful beer garden.

Very mixed experience on Boxing Day. The veal cream goulash was full of gristle. Neither the duck duet nor the duck solo could convince any dish. Both ducks were on a diet and the taste was not convincing either. My suckling pig, however, was very good. The char, again, was very dry and long past doneness. The service was friendly, although you had to remember forgotten orders for both drinks and food. Too bad. Given the reviews, we would have expected much more overall.

Unfortunately the award is not worthy of the food, the knuckles are not through and the meat would have needed a while longer!!! I was also very disappointed with the price, where you would expect better food!!! Was here for the second time now, and none of the staff cares if the knuckles are still raw or the Kaiserschmarrn isn't cooked through and you only have the raw dough in your mouth. It's a shame that a good award is given to such a bad economy, where even the staff doesn't make an effort to at least talk a little better.

The service is unfriendly and sloppy, people forget to eat and if you point it out you are treated rudely. The onion roast for €34 is totally overpriced for what you get. It was ordered medium and put back and the waitress replied: You don't have to choose whether you want it medium. The vegetables tasted like frozen food with zero flavor. The answer was that several dishes were out and the onion roast too. Unfortunately it's a real shame and I don't recommend it.

Just here for dinner now. Unfortunately catastrophic! Service is still ok, food is totally overpriced and the quality is really bad. I ordered the crusty roast. First I had to ask several times for the sour and inedible coleslaw and then I was informed that there was no longer any roast pork. Absolutely not recommended! My wife and daughter had cheese spaetzle COMPLETELY WITHOUT cheese!!! And I only give the star because I have to give a star to post this! We would earn less than zero!!!

The food as well as the service is subpar. High prices and poor quality. When the pork roast goes out at a Christmas party, there is a serious lack of organization. The onion roast for a whopping €35 is not even medium rare and is also extremely thin and fatty. When I complained to the service, I was told that you can't expect it to be medium. The dumplings sat in the water for what felt like 6 hours and were amused that no one wanted them. When the funny dumplings were divided, all that was left was a smooth, raw dough. At this price range what is called here. One can expect more. We are here right now and also for the last time. If you want expensive and bad food, this is the place for you.

We spontaneously stopped at the Mei Wirtshaus on Saturday afternoon on the way to the Olympic Hall. It's a very cozy atmosphere! Very nicely, rustically furnished inn. As a starter we had two soups. The pumpkin cream soup was a real 10/10 - incredibly delicious! The wild cream soup was also very tasty and fresh. For the main course we had cheese spaetzle with salad. Everything here was very tasty and the dressing on the salad was great! The service person was also super nice. All in all a nice inn with delicious food and a nice interior - worth a visit!

After a long time (Corona and personal circumstances) I finally ordered a Tatar hat again. Of course, like everywhere else, prices have risen. Here it is absolutely worth the price, homemade sauces, everything regional and fresh and generous portions. Nice boss, nice staff, everything was great. Only the Moritz dog is missing 🥹

Visit on October 28th, 2024. Service was very friendly and with the right amount of humor at the start. I had a crusty roast. The meal was relatively cheap at €15, but unfortunately nothing special. Taste was still good though. The restaurant was relatively empty, but that was perfect for our evening. You could have a good conversation. In retrospect, I would have preferred to try a different dish. Maybe on the next visit.
