Great Bavarian food restaurant. Better than the very busy one around the corner. Awesome friendly staff. Tasty, tasty food. Ask for Oliver, he is the man.

Gasthof Neuwirt is picturesque and typically Bavarian. The food was very good and there were generous portions. Since we were a larger party, we got to sit in the beer hall, which was otherwise a bit half empty. It would have been fun to sit in the restaurant itself or if there had been live music in the beer hall.

We had the unfriendly service ever I can't say whether that's always the case Eat good!

We have been to the Neuwirt several times and have always been satisfied. But unfortunately it wasn't like that on Sunday. Food-wise it was generally okay. The portions used to be larger and the price smaller, but this can be explained and understood by VAT changes, higher ingredient costs and increased labor costs. But if I order a special and there are several ants in the glass, I assume that if I point it out to the waitress that I will get a new one. The answer I got was that the bar waiter couldn't explain it and gave me a shot of schnapps as an apology. I actually didn't want schnapps but a new specialist. Dealing with complaints is different for me.

The service was terrible for us. Very unfriendly and it seemed as if they had no interest in us at all. Food was great…

Unfortunately I can't contribute much about the rooms. But about the restaurant: We have been regular guests here for years and are always pleased with the service and the food. We are therefore happy to accept a journey of almost 14 km.

The summer party with the fan club was very nice there. Everything was easy to reach with a wheelchair and the food was very good.

We were here at 9:30 a.m. for a white sausage breakfast while passing through. We received friendly service :-) Without begging, we immediately got enough sweet mustard. The courtyard is quiet and shady. The white sausages were very good. We'll definitely come back.

Why this place isn’t better known is beyond me - damn my secret is out!

I thought it was a very cool, unusual meal menu with a Bavarian look. Food very tasty and inexpensive 👍👌 Compliments to the kitchen ⭐️ Staff also friendly ⭐️ All in all a very good visit and not the last. Better than the Augustiner, you really get it fresh on the table.

Bad value for food. 31€ for a mediocre roast beef dish is simply too much. Similary for other dishes. Only those of our group who ordered Wiener Schnitzel were really content with the taste, while I'd still consider 29€ too much.

Extremely delicious Bavarian food in a rustic atmosphere with a super friendly team. The classics of home-style cuisine are cooked here with passion and served with love by the team. Perfect for ending the day with a juicy roast or super tasty Kaiserschmarrn. Add a fresh beer and the evening in Garching is perfect!

Nice inn. Reserved a table online, which was also confirmed. When we arrived, no one knew about it and we were put in the “Stadl”. Here you only get a small map and not the whole one. The waitress wasn't willing to accommodate us, even though it wasn't our fault that the reservation was messed up. A pity! 3 stars because the food, although not what we were looking forward to, was very good. Nevertheless, we don't know whether the next business lunch will take place at the Gasthof Neuwirt again

In my opinion, the Styrian fried chicken salad needs to be improved.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms. We had lunch there while passing through. The food was very tasty. Asparagus with veal schnitzel and potatoes very tasty. My friend had the spicy schnitzel with fries, which was very tasty. Service was excellent, friendly and on point.

Unfortunately they don't have a plan if you make a reservation.

Always happy to come by to eat and drink, very nice beer garden and lounge. There is always a free seat in the hall.

We have been guests at the Gasthof Neuwirt several times. Both for eating and for staying overnight. The food is of very good quality and the beer tastes excellent. The atmosphere is very lovingly designed and you feel very comfortable there. Ms. Rieger and her great team have everything well under control. When we are in Munich, the Gasthof Neuwirt is a "must" for us.

We ordered 2 non-alcoholic ones and a regular light one. We got 1 non-alcoholic and 2 normal ones (which we didn't know at first because the waitress was confused at first and apparently thought we had ordered 2 normal ones. When asked, she then said the 2 normal ones were non-alcoholic, which turned out to be wrong.) Mistakes happen, but such a mistake is not only avoidable but also fatal. One of the guests has Alzheimer's and the other takes medication that makes alcohol dangerous. Nobody apologized and we definitely won't be coming back.

Inn with a beautiful beer garden in a central location in Garching. The food and service were very good and you can easily use the attached hotel thanks to the good connections (motorway, subway station), either for a stopover on the way back from Italy/Austria or to explore Munich/Allianz Arena. The room was clean and well maintained and the small bathroom was recently renovated. With a new floor and curtains and some decoration or a suitable picture, the room would look much friendlier. But completely OK for a short trip and the price-performance ratio is right with the breakfast buffet included.

I had a very good lunch, very good service and the location in Munich in all peace and quiet also fits!!! I can't rate the room, it was only in the nice restaurant.

Sehr hübscher Speisesaal. Leider waren die Bedienungen teilweise etwas lost und haben bestellungen verwechselt, aber sie haben alles mit Humor genommen, also war easy :)

Sehr schöner Gasthof mit kleinem Hotel. Wir haben uns im Gasthof Neuwirt sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer fanden wir schön und sehr sauber. Abends waren wir im Restaurant und am folgenden Tag im Biergarten zum Essen. Die Speisen waren wirklich super und von den Portionen sowie vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut.

Eine sehr schöne Location wir hatten wirklich eine super Weihnachtsfeier. Das Essen ist wirklich super wir hatten eine große Auswahl. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist ist auch top. Die Mitarbeiter Eren, Mary und Melanie sind sehr sympathisch und sind auf jeden Wunsch eingegangen was die Bestellung anging.

Das erste mal dirt war mega gut, beim Essen mieten wir leider beim zweiten Besuch sehr lange warten. Das essen war kalt. Ich hoffe es war nur wegen Xmas Rush. Personal nett, Location super und wir kommen auch wieder!!!

Es war mal gut und dafür gab es auch 5 Sterne und es wurde sehr oft bestellt. Mittlerweile werden die Portionen halbiert und für mehr €€€ verkauft! Danke für die jahrelange Versorgung und Service... hier werde ich nichts mehr bestellen. Freundlich ist das Personal , da hat sich hier zumindest nichts verändert.

Fahre jetzt schon das 10. Jahr nach Garching, leider hat das Service ein wenig nachgelassen. Mal schauen wie es 2024 wird?

Wir haben unsere Standesamtliche Hochzeit im Gasthof Neuwirt ausklingen lassen. Im Separe waren wir mit knapp 30 Gästen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und die Getränke kamen stets sehr flott. Das Essen war sehr (!) lecker (Zwiebelrostbraten, Hirsch, Schweinefilet, Kaiserschmarrn). Der Raum war schön eingedeckt und dekoriert, so dass eine feierliche Atmosphäre entstand. Preisliche war es auch gut. Herzlichen Dank!

Sehr gute bayerische Wirtschaft und immer gut besucht. Es gibt hier auch einen schönen Biergarten. Die Bedingungen sind sehr freundlich.

Alles recht hochpreisig aber lecker. Leider fällt der Wurstsalat bei mir durch. Wenig liebe und eine sehr sehr kleine Portion für ~10€ ist mir das echt zu Teuer und lieblos

Super netter Gasthof, freundliches Ambiente, sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Servicekräfte, familiäre Atmosphäre, rustikal eingerichtet, das Essen super Klasse, frisch , sauber , Toiletten sauber und gut zugänglich 😊

Wir waren im Biergarten vom Neuwirt und hatten Schweinebraten und Cordon bleu, beides war wirklich sehr gut. Schöne, große Portionen. Leider ließ der Service heute etwas zu wünschen übrig: die Bedienungen sind ständig mit leeren Händen an leeren Gläsern und Tellern vorbei gelaufen, wir mussten lange warten, bis wir überhaupt eine Karte bekommen haben - am Nebentisch haben sich die Gäste die Karten irgendwann selbst geholt. Dann haben wir wieder gewartet bis wir bestellen durften. Das Essen kam aber dann verhältnismäßig schnell. Dafür saßen wir dann wieder eine halbe Ewigkeit vor leeren Tellern und haben gewartet bis wir zahlen konnten. Um uns herum lauter genervte Gäste, die auf irgendetwas warten mussten. Vom Essen her 5 Sterne, aber insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert, weil man sich so über die Bedienungen ärgert.

Wir haben dort unsere Hochzeit gefeiert, das Essen war sehr gut jedoch hätte die Bedienung an diesem Tag lieber fern bleiben sollen, da sie uns, insbesondere mir (ich war die Braut) den Tag vermieste. Ständig irgendwelche flapsigen Bemerkungen. Die Torte wurde auch genau in dem Moment hineingetragen wo ich auf Toilette war, obwohl mein Mann vorher ausdrücklich gesagt hat, dass man bitte noch warten soll. Als die Torte dann da war, stand die Dame die ganze Zeit zwischen uns und hat Bemerkungen gemacht die unter aller Würde sind. 1. Fotosmomente sind komplett zerstört worden. 2. Durch ihre Aussagen war die Stimmung aller eher schlecht Ich bin wirklich unglaublich traurig und wütend, dass diese Frau mir diesen wichtigen Tag in meinem Leben kaputt gemacht hat.

Sehr gutes Essen zu angenehmen Preisen. Werden wieder kommen :)

The burgers are the best thing ever! Highly recommended.

Wir waren am Samstag, mit vier Personen da und wurden vom Essen sehr enttäuscht. Wenn nur der Service bewertet werden würde, dann hat dieser 5 Sterne verdient. Das Essen war wirklich nur mittelmäßig und das für den Preis. Die Schweinebratensoße hat sehr nach einer Päckchensoße mit viel Glutamat geschmeckt. Das Fleisch war dafür aber okay. Für den stolzen Preis erwarte ich keine Päckchensoße. Ich hatte den Backhendelsalat, der aus ca. 3/4 Eisbergsalat, Kartoffelsalat aus dem Eimer und noch ein paar andere grüne Salatblätter mit einer Frenchdressing die ebenfalls aus der Tube kommt, bestand. Die drei kleinen Stücke von der Hähnchenbrust, haben dafür gut geschmeckt. Lt. Karte sollte es eigentlich Baguette und Kürbiskernöl dazugeben, was allerdings gefehlt hatte und mir auch erst später wieder eingefallen war. Das Fleisch vom Ochsenburger hat nicht viel nach Fleisch geschmeckt, vielleicht war auch einfach die Burgersoße so dominant. Dafür waren aber die Pommes richtig gut. Dann hatten wir noch die Teigtaschen. Als diese serviert wurden, war erstmal positiv, dass sehr viel Parmesansplitter drauf waren. Aber die Teigtaschen, also die Ravioli, waren in einer braunen Soße getränkt, die wie die Bratensoße vom Schweinebraten ausgesehen und geschmeckt hatte. Auf der Karte ist erstmal von einer Soße nichts draufgestanden. Meistens bekommt man ja so Ravioli, eher in einer Salbeibutter geschwenkt oder mit z.B. mit Weißweinschaum serviert, aber mit Bratensoße, geht das gar nicht, vor allem, weil es ein vegetarisches Gericht war. Wir haben dann später auch die Bedienung gefragt, die meinte, dass ihr das auch schon aufgefallen wäre, dass die Ravioli so dunkel waren, sonst wären die wohl hell. Wir baten darum mal in der Küche zu fragen, was das für eine Soße gewesen ist. Als Antwort bekamen wir dann, dass die Ravioli in einer Nussbutter geschwenkt wurde und daher auch so dunkel waren. Das war niemals eine Nussbutter, denn die wäre klar gewesen und nicht wie eine Bratensoße. Unser Fazit, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier überhaupt nicht, es wurde nicht das serviert, was auch auf der Speisekarte stand. Das Essen war doch sehr überwürzt im Sinne von Glutamatüberschuß bzw. Convenience Food, einfach schnell und bequem. Wir können die vorherigen Rezensionen gar nicht nachvollziehen. Oder wir hatten einfach Pech an diesem Tag. Weiterempfehlen können wir das Lokal auf keinen Fall.

Wir haben für 15 Personen ein Catering bestellt. Schweinebraten, Spätzle, Salate und für die Kinder Pommes und Nuggets. Die Kommunikation vorab war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Essen haben wir selbst in großen Wärmebehältern im Restaurant abgeholt und konnten Zuhause ein Buffet aufbauen. Das Essen hat allen Gästen und uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden. Preis-Leistung ist Top.

Jedesmal auf dem Weg in den Süden gehen wir hier essen und immer wieder gerne!
