Great! It was our first time there. It was super good, and we would go back for dinner anytime. Super friendly and attentive service. We didn't have a room, so we can't rate it.

Just the thing before or after a Bayern game. Top-notch food and service.

The food is always fantastic, and the hospitality and service are excellent. You couldn't ask for more. The beer garden is excellent and beautiful, with its chestnut trees. We always enjoy going there.

I went there with a work colleague, and we had a fantastic lunch. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose our own seating. My Munich schnitzel was AMAZING, super tasty, and a huge portion. The burgers that were brought past us to the next guests looked good enough to eat. I'll have that next time and am already looking forward to it. The restaurant is very cozy and has a high-quality, inviting Bavarian decor. You don't see that very often these days. The price/performance ratio is really good here, which is why it earned a well-deserved first place in Mein LOKAL dein LOKA 2025. CONGRATULATIONS

Best pub in the area! Very good food.

We gathered at the Neuwirt for lunch. As we entered the beer garden, a waiter signaled to us that we could choose our seats, which we did. This same waiter brought us the menu as he walked by without even saying hello, just placed it on the table, okay?! A short while later, the good man came back to the table and asked us what we would like to drink: two Cokes, please. Then he left again without a word. Our drinks were brought, and he immediately took our food order after we asked him what we had for lunch today. We ordered this for two people, and again the waiter disappeared from our table without a word. Shortly after we ordered, the food arrived. As usual, our waiter placed it without a word: "No, enjoy your meal," or "No, nothing," simply nothing from the good man. Hoping for the delicious food now in front of me, I simply blocked him out and concentrated on my meal. Unfortunately, the spaetzle probably had too little salt in the batter and cooking water, and thus, like the meat without the sauce, were completely underseasoned. It can happen sometimes; you just add a little more seasoning. So I went looking for our waiter, as he and his colleague hadn't been seen since the food was put out. I couldn't find the good man at the food counter or in the dining room. My desperate search probably aroused the sympathy of the regulars (table 51), who then asked me if I was looking for the restroom. To which I replied no, but rather my waiter or salt and pepper. It was no use; the good man didn't show up again; in the meantime, I had finished eating before my food had completely gone cold. When it was cleared away, we had both finished our meals, and again no one asked if I had enjoyed it. I asked for the bill. Finally, the waiter personally asked me if there was anything wrong, since there was no tip. I explained to him the situation with the search for the salt and that I had imagined the service and attentiveness here to be somewhat different. The employee then said, "Okay," and was gone again! A quick note about the lemon slice in the Coke. They haven't really done that since the mid-nineties. It doesn't change the flavor at all, and secondly, it's a cost factor. Thirdly, I don't know if the lemon is organic or if the pesticides end up in my drink along with the peel. I definitely don't want any in my drink, but I wasn't asked whether I wanted it with or without, so I was able to fish mine out of my Coke with a fork.

Five of us ate there today based on a recommendation because the beer garden recently won first place in a TV show. I had a pork cordon bleu with fries. The cordon bleu was good and homemade, but the fries were unfortunately frozen. Overall, the main course was okay, but really nothing special. For dessert, according to the menu, we had chocolate mousse with yogurt and crumbles. Unfortunately, we got a mousse covered in fruit pulp and cream. We ate it and asked the waitress why we didn't get what was on the menu. He asked the kitchen, came back with a small plastic cup of crumbles, and said the chef must have forgotten it. Well, the whole thing tasted very mushy because of the fruit pulp. We were actually looking forward to yogurt and crumbles. That shouldn't happen to any restaurant, let alone one that wins a prestigious TV show. Overall, in my experience, you can't go wrong with the Neuwirt, but you shouldn't expect anything great either.

Good food with difficult parking.

We were there for one day, but that was enough. The rooms are dated, with no air conditioning and no mosquito repellent. There's only one fan, which is so loud you can't leave it running at night. We had an attic room. The bathtub/shower is life-threatening. Far too slippery. The service isn't great. The food, on the other hand, was very good; we even picked out dessert, but the staff didn't react; they just took away the menu, so we couldn't order anything else.

We were at this restaurant today with about 20 people. We called the service three times beforehand to make sure our son, who has celiac disease and must eat 100% gluten-free, could eat there. When we ordered, we were told that this wasn't possible. How inconsiderate must a restaurateur be to accept a group knowing that one person wouldn't be able to eat safely? And yes, we emphasized several times how important it is that nothing should be contaminated here, and we were assured of this every time over the phone. Not my restaurant. Addendum to the reply: If you make mistakes, you should own up to them and not blame the customer. If you had told us on the phone that you couldn't handle celiac disease, we wouldn't have come to you with the whole group (about 20 people). Hmm... As I said, we pointed this out several times and asked questions. And by the way: there is no such thing as hypersensitive celiac disease. There's only celiac disease, and with this disease, even the slightest contamination counts. Perhaps, as a sign of goodwill, you could just take a proper look at it. Then you'll understand the difference from gluten intolerance. As I said, not my style of communication, not my restaurant.

A true Bavarian inn where the owner personally welcomes her guests and offers a few warm words and a listening ear for everyone. The baked wood-fired bread with a slight spice is amazing and highly recommended because it's simply unique and has a very special flavor :)

Hmm, we always understand that when things are hectic, something gets forgotten. But what if there's nothing going on? We were in the beer garden this afternoon (maybe 6 tables occupied for 2 servers) and ordered two fried chicken salads: Styrian Fried Chicken Salad Tender fried chicken on potato and leaf salad with genuine Styrian pumpkin seed oil for €17.90 After I'd already started eating, I noticed that the pumpkin seed oil was missing, and when the waiter came back, I told him we were missing it. He was taken aback, shrugged his shoulders, and said he'd ask. We don't know where he asked, so we waited about 5 minutes, but continued eating before the fried chicken got cold. The waiter didn't come back, so we could have waited a long time. Then a colleague came to take the payment, and only then did the waiter reappear. We didn't mention the missing pumpkin seed oil again and tipped anyway. Why? Because we should be happy if anyone is still a restaurateur... but you could still put a little more effort into a justified complaint and not just disappear... An apology for forgetting is the least we can do. We would have appreciated a shot on the house or an espresso... the next time we forget.

A restaurant with a lovely, cozy beer garden in Garching. We stopped here for dinner before a soccer match at the Allianz Arena—the service, food, and beer were excellent. The subway station is practically on the doorstep, and the Allianz Arena is only two stops away.

I came to dine in a typical Munich restaurant. Lovely staff and excellent, hearty food. My best memory of Munich. I was able to eat at the Stammtich table in company, great experience.

hotel The rooms are small, functional and very clean. The breakfast is a little spartan but good. The food in the restaurant is impeccable. The festival hall is equipped with a beautiful ceiling painting, even the 'Atom Egg' is on it. There are some private parking spaces in front of the house. In addition, it will be difficult to observe parking discs and times.

We are here every two years for first aid training. In summer occasionally in the beer garden and for dinner. The waitresses are all super nice and quick. The food is really good. You can always find parking spaces. So take a look!

We were there for dinner. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. The breading fell off the schnitzel and was floppy. Fried potatoes were also soggy. My starter salad was only served with the main course. I didn't like that at all. I had it as a starter, as ordered on the menu. When the young waiter was asked about it, he became a bit mushy. However, the salad was tasty and crunchy. Otherwise the service was quick and friendly.

We had a great meal at Neuwirt! The service is very attentive and nice. We wanted to go back the next day of our stay, but unfortunately we couldn't get a table. The broth with liver dumplings and the pork fillet (which was a daily special) were terrific. My husband raved about the gratinated crusty bread and the roast roast. We'll definitely be back!

This review is concerning the restaurant. If you are ever in the area of the Munich airport, try Gasthof Neuwirt. It so happened that my wife and I were in the area, and the restaurant fell into our laps, and the experience was wonderful. Christa (owner) was charming. The food is purchased daily, and a personal touch was added to each meal. We had the weiner stinzel, and the cordon Bleu. Both were tasty. Our desert was a pancake lightly grilled topped with powered sugar and you dipped it in an apricot sauce. My description does not do the desert justice, but give it a try. The prices are reasonable but CASH ONLY. Great beer selection

A rustic Bavarian restaurant with very good regional food and great service. We had a pleasant evening and would love to come back. And it's been a year - we were back!!! Nothing has changed - food great, atmosphere great - owner/service super accommodating and nice! Thanks for lunch with Haxn.

I came here for group dinners three times (with 10-25 people). It's a great place for such gatherings! Plenty of space in a big and undisturbed hall. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice food.

In the center of Garching, the restaurant is large, the service is very good, and the arrangements are very thoughtful. The special Bavarian crispy roasted pig is 4.8, the fried pork cutlet is 4.5, the grilled fish is 4.0, the cheese pork pie is 4.0, and the Munich cutlet is 3.8. I have not stayed in the room, so I am not sure. How is the quality?

Had a delicious Münchner Schnitzel

We went here for dinner twice in one week with 13/15 people each time. The food was great and everyone got what they ordered. The second time, the Kässpätzle were very oversalted and the advice to the staff was dismissed with “I can’t do anything about it now”… The service was not well organized that day and it showed. Side dishes arrived late and some drink requests were not responded to. The reservation only worked once, the second time it was made and tables had to be put together at short notice, which then worked without any problems. We informed the service several times that we were willing to pay and were only able to pay after 45 minutes. One person stayed seated and the rest left. Street parking available.

Gasthof Neuwirt is picturesque and typically Bavarian. The food was very good and there were generous portions. Since we were a larger party, we got to sit in the beer hall, which was otherwise a bit half empty. It would have been fun to sit in the restaurant itself or if there had been live music in the beer hall.

We have been to the Neuwirt several times and have always been satisfied. But unfortunately it wasn't like that on Sunday. Food-wise it was generally okay. The portions used to be larger and the price smaller, but this can be explained and understood by VAT changes, higher ingredient costs and increased labor costs. But if I order a special and there are several ants in the glass, I assume that if I point it out to the waitress that I will get a new one. The answer I got was that the bar waiter couldn't explain it and gave me a shot of schnapps as an apology. I actually didn't want schnapps but a new specialist. Dealing with complaints is different for me.

The service was terrible for us. Very unfriendly and it seemed as if they had no interest in us at all. Food was great…

Unfortunately I can't contribute much about the rooms. But about the restaurant: We have been regular guests here for years and are always pleased with the service and the food. We are therefore happy to accept a journey of almost 14 km.

The summer party with the fan club was very nice there. Everything was easy to reach with a wheelchair and the food was very good.

We were here at 9:30 a.m. for a white sausage breakfast while passing through. We received friendly service :-) Without begging, we immediately got enough sweet mustard. The courtyard is quiet and shady. The white sausages were very good. We'll definitely come back.

Bad value for food. 31€ for a mediocre roast beef dish is simply too much. Similary for other dishes. Only those of our group who ordered Wiener Schnitzel were really content with the taste, while I'd still consider 29€ too much.
