Absolutely lovely. Cozy and comfortable. The food is very good and plentiful, and the service is attentive and fast.

Flatterman at its best. Very tasty fries and the chicken is good too. However, they're stingy with the coleslaw. It's not a side dish, just a sample. Seating is only available on the heated outdoor terrace. Fast, friendly service.

We were here for the second time today... the outdoor area is so well heated that you don't get cold... and the hot sea buckthorn punch warms you up nicely too... Everything was delicious, the staff is super friendly... we hope to come back again during our vacation.

We had the falafel burger (it was quite good) and the sweet potato burger (which unfortunately wasn't good; the cheese sauce didn't go well with it at all). The ambiance, the seaside location, and the service were great, but the prices are too high.

A chance find... located in Prerow behind the dunes... broiler sounds interesting for an old Ossi... You sit outside, but the weather protection is flexible (a roof was extended before the first raindrops)... very friendly service, we went for the big bite, broiler happiness... a whole bird with plenty of sides... worth mentioning: very good fries (finally nothing pale and limp), the broiler was unfortunately a bit dry... hence only four stars

The outdoor area is already covered in dunes, but those who prefer a more private setting can retreat behind a higher glass partition. All orders are taken promptly, and the staff is friendly and natural, not pretentious. Food is served very decoratively. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Today was my third visit to Joho this year. It's always lovely. The patio heaters and gas fire in this autumnal atmosphere make the terrace feel perfect. The service today, a young, very friendly, and cheerful student from Rostock, immediately lifted the mood. She kept asking if we had any requests, was everything okay, etc. Simply fantastic. I'd happily come back. The food was also very good. More than enough.

Great, fast, and pleasant service! A fantastic menu, from broiler breast with coleslaw and classic yet sophisticated fish and chips to chicken currywurst and XXL apple crumble—absolutely delicious! You can sit sheltered from the wind with good music and tasty drinks! Every time we stop in Prerow, we stop at JOHO. 👍🏻

What can I say...We love JOHO in Prerow. The staff are always friendly and have a very personable demeanor. For me personally, these, the selection of vegan dishes, and of course the great ambiance are the highlights. Just a few meters from the beach, you can practically feel the sand between your toes and smell the Baltic Sea. The only tiny point deducted is that they unfortunately don't offer vegan dessert. YOHO Prerow = big love. Thank you.

A very nice place to have lunch. The view is wonderful. The service is great, friendly, accommodating, and enjoys what they do, always with a smile on their faces. The food was okay; for the price, the portions could have been a bit larger, at least for the broiler breast. However, it was attractively presented on the plate. Because of the view and the service, I'll definitely be back on my next visit.

The location and ambiance are excellent considering the circumstances. Just 50 meters away is the beautiful Prerow beach. You'll feel very comfortable both on the terrace and on the loungers on the sand. Whether you're vegan or non-vegan, whether you're very hungry or just a little hungry, there's something for everyone. And the service is very high quality. The service is always very friendly and always on the ball. We come here regularly during our stays in Prerow and have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work!

I've been to Prerow several times and can't resist coming here for a meal. The atmosphere is harmonious and relaxed; there are infrared lamps outside that provide a cozy warmth and a small fire that adds to the atmosphere. Therefore, it's highly recommended even on stormy, chilly evenings!

Rügen residents vacation on the Darß island, and of course, they also enjoy a stroll along the seemingly endless beach. Eating at the pier... no... we keep walking... our stomachs are starting to rumble. Relief was in sight... JOHO... a broiler bar. We opted for the perennial favorite and haven't regretted it. The half broiler was the tastiest we've ever eaten, and the service, even though the season is almost over, was still the friendliest and nicest waitress. We highly recommend this broiler bar.

We ate at the JOHO Broiler Bar in Prerow this evening. Our food (we had fish and chips) arrived quickly and was delicious. For dessert, we had apple crumble with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. Highly recommended 😊 I'd like to highlight the very friendly and attentive waitress named Amy (I hope I spelled that right) 😂 Unfortunately, it's not common these days to receive friendly and welcoming service. But that was the case here. 😊👍 We'll definitely stop by again. 😊👍

We always enjoy coming here. A visit to the restaurant can easily be combined with a visit to the dog beach or sports beach.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The location on the beach was, of course, top-notch, and the food was delicious. The chicken was of very good quality, as advertised, and the ribs were also very good. The chicken was juicy, and the rib meat was soft and fell off the bone easily. We would definitely come back.

With several people, we were able to get a seat relatively quickly, even without a reservation. The benches without backrests were very close together and somewhat uncomfortable. The service was friendly. The burger was excellent, and the fries and broiler were good. Unfortunately, the fish and chips tasted like it was in a deep fryer. All in all, it's worth going there for a meal.

Delicious dishes in a beautiful setting right on the beach. Despite being somewhat of a chain restaurant, I always enjoy coming back to the JOHO Prerow. The service was once again very friendly and attentive to guests.

Four of us had the soup as a starter and the perennial favorite, a broiler with salad and fries. All four of us were full 😁😁 Everything was to our satisfaction. The price/performance ratio was very fair. We'd be happy to come back next time we're in Prerow.

We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and received a very friendly welcome. The service was attentive and courteous, making us feel immediately at home. The prices are, in my opinion, absolutely reasonable and well-balanced for the quality. Overall, a pleasant visit that I would happily recommend.

We were there with our family (4 people) in the late afternoon and were able to choose a table. The location couldn't be better. Right behind the dunes. We had two appetizers and the whole broiler. It was easily enough for the four of us. The broiler was really delicious, well-seasoned, and with crispy skin. However, I think the Caesar salad and fries are the best. The sweet potato with the cheese sauce is also great. I'm getting hungry again right away. We'll be back.

The food was good, and the location, right behind the dunes, is also great. Unfortunately, almost everything went wrong that evening (allegedly) with the printer and the allocation of dishes to the menu. This disappointed us, although they sincerely apologized.

The finest broiler! We knew JoHo from Kühlungsborn and were delighted to see that they now have it in Prerow! Our expectations were completely met! Perfect broiler served whole, with incredibly delicious sides! I'm not usually a fan of fries, but the fries with truffle mayo and Parmesan are divine! Super friendly staff! Great location! This was our first time at Joho and we were seated immediately. The service was friendly and attentive, and the tables were cleaned immediately after guests left. The food arrived quickly and was delicious; the chicken was tender and the warm sauce added a wonderful flavor. The salad was also delicious and highly recommended. Good concept with the additional takeout service and the sun loungers in front, although some need repair.

We spontaneously arrived at 7:30 p.m. Seating is only available outside under cover. We waited a short time and got a table. It's right by the sea. The food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, the fairy lights weren't on.

First, we bought the fish and chips with tartar sauce from the sales window and took it with us to the beach. Everything was very well packaged, and the food was incredibly delicious. The fried fish wasn't as saturated with oil as at many other snack bars or restaurants, the fries were crispy and well-salted, and the tartar sauce was also homemade. Because we were so pleasantly surprised, we ate there again for dinner, and everything was really good. Nothing was dry, everything was well-seasoned, fresh, and the portions were generous. You can't reserve a table, but after a 10-minute wait, a table for two became available. I highly recommend stopping by 👍🏼

Super friendly, attentive waitress named Silva. We showed up spontaneously on a Friday during peak season with eight people. Everything was full. However, the waitress tried very hard to find a solution for us. We were told to come back after 20 minutes, and then we were seated. The food was super delicious and incredibly appetizing to look at. The ambiance is unique. You're practically sitting in the dunes. If we ever vacation nearby again, we'll definitely come back. The waitress was incredibly friendly.

The broiler and the burger were delicious. The service was very friendly, but not very well-trained. For example, there was a mix-up with a beer. It was accidentally served to a child... but it was replaced. It's a nice place to sit and look out at the dunes. Heat lamps are pleasant when it gets a bit cooler in the evening. We'd be happy to come back.
