Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker

Hatte Haxentopf mit Landbrot. War sehr lecker, ähnlich einem Gulasch. Das Fleisch war sehr lecker und zart. Ein gutes, schmackhaftes Brot war dabei. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Waren Abends in der Nähe und dann sehr spontan hier zum Essen. Absolute Empfehlung. Selten so gut gegessen. Mitarbeiter durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, klasse Team. Das bestellte Essen hat sehr sehr lecker geschmeckt, auch das was die anderen bestellt haben, es wurde probiert. Preis Leistung total in Ordnung. Es ist ein richtig schönes Ambiente was zum verweilen einlädt.

Das Essen war wirklich lecker und qualitativ sehr gut – dafür gibt es auf jeden Fall Lob. Leider war die Bedienung eine Katastrophe. Unfreundlich, langsam und man hatte das Gefühl, eher zu stören als willkommen zu sein. Sehr schade, denn das gute Essen wird dadurch leider überschattet.

Wir können das Brauhaus nur empfehlen. Wir hatten leckeres Essen, kühle Getränke und "saunette" Servicekräfte. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

So close, and I was there for the first time last week... I was overwhelmed! From the outside, I never would have guessed the atmosphere would be so lovely, and the food... mmm... divine 😋🫢. Thank you, Moni M., for the idea and recommendation... It was very spontaneous, and we still managed to get a table (there were five of us hungry women) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣... I'll be back soon.

We payed them a spontaneous visit on a saturday evening. They did find a table for us, even if it was very busy and crowded. The service was perfect, a smile, a joke here and there, and the food...absolutely delicious! Make sure you order their house beer, our absolute favourite was the blonde, but you can order a testing variant of 3 beers (100ml each), and decide for yourself. A big thank you to the staff, we will definitely visit again!

If you're looking for a place to eat in Memmingen, this restaurant is highly recommended! The food is excellent and the value for money is fantastic. The Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) are particularly noteworthy, as they're finally made without cream, using only cheese. Cream simply doesn't belong with spaetzle; anyone who lives in the Allgäu or Vorarlberg knows that. They also offer dishes like Wiener Schnitzel with Käsespätzle or Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with onions) with Käsespätzle.

The chef said the fish was cooked thoroughly. To me, however, it didn't look quite done.

I stayed in Memmingen and had lunch and dinner at this restaurant twice. What can I say? The location is excellent, right in the center and easily accessible. Excellent, high-quality food, comfortable, and attentive service. The atmosphere was welcoming. We had a great time. Prices were more or less reasonable.

Friendly service, delicious food, and a lovely atmosphere made for a wonderful evening. However, you should definitely avoid trying to take the delicious beer with you. We paid a €4 deposit per bottle, which is the same price as the beer inside. But otherwise, my verdict is thumbs up. Best regards, Lothar

It's a shame the waitress snapped at us right away! She looked very stressed, and the restaurant was quite busy, but that shouldn't be a reason to be greeted like that. Afterwards, she was friendly and smiled, but unfortunately, first impressions are crucial. Why don't you hire one or two more employees? Then no one would have to be so stressed and snap at the guests.

I was there on a Saturday. The restaurant was quite busy, but there were still tables available. Unfortunately, it was very noisy, as the large dining area is completely open, without any partitions or anything like that. I had a light beer, which was very refreshing and left me wanting more. I also ordered a large Wiener Schnitzel with fries (the best I've had in ages) and lingonberries. The price was perfectly reasonable. I paid €26 including tip. The waiter was very friendly and chatty. I really enjoyed my meal there, so despite the noise, I'm giving it 5 stars.

Beautifully furnished, friendly and organized staff, very delicious food

We've been happy guests for over 15 years (back then, Barfüsser). However, it's now impossible to make a spontaneous reservation 1-2 days in advance. We used to do this through OpenTable, but calling is nearly impossible because no one answers. If you do manage to get through to someone, making a reservation is usually not possible. The response is that you should just drop by and try... which takes 30-40 minutes to get there, so that's simply wasted time. These are problems that come with success... The concept isn't working anymore; you're no longer customer-focused... It's a real shame...

This is an excellent restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The food is of the usual high quality. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

Worst customer experience I've ever had in Europe, having visited more than 5 countries. I would never return, and for anyone who isn't from Germany, I don't recommend visiting this place. There was a problem with the payment; we tested several cards that worked throughout Europe in more than 4 currencies, but it didn't work here… they told me to walk in the cold winter and made me leave my wife locked inside the establishment until I returned… They threatened to call the police. I will never return to this place and I hope this review helps other people reconsider their visit too!

We found this place by chance when we were walking through the wonderful Memmingen, we were very attracted to the place by the architecture and the story it has. We were treated very nicely by the blonde lady with short hair, she guided us to order something local because that's what we were looking for, to try something specific. And we really liked the recommendations offered. The food is different from what we are used to but surprisingly tasty and the beer is special.

We've been there a few times now and have never been disappointed. The varied menu includes dishes like brewer's flatbread. Personally, I enjoyed the hearty dishes with dark beer sauce the most. The house-brewed beer is definitely worth a second glass. The friendly and attentive service completes the positive impression. We'll be back.

The service was rude and snappy. Way too crowded. The food was okay. I got hit in the face by the jacket of a guest at the next table. I felt like a sardine. I can't recommend it.

Great place, to experience where the locals go for a drink. Entering in visitors are presented option to chose type of glass they will use (small 500 ml and big 1000 ml) then chose the type of beer, pay and get your drinks. Visitors can find place to seat in one of the three big halls. Various types of food are available, to enjoy with the beer. Nice place and the beer was awesome.

Despite the restaurant being full, the service was quick and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Since I always have to make special requests (no changing sauces or sides) and this is usually not possible in other restaurants, or things go wrong, I was all the more surprised when everything arrived exactly as I wanted. The service was very friendly and fast, except for one waiter who, for some reason, told us there was no room and to come back in half an hour without taking a reservation. Five minutes later, another waiter offered a table to another family without any problem. When we complained, they also gave us a table. The truth is, the first waiter's treatment was very disappointing; I don't know if it was because we were tourists. As for the food, it lives up to its reputation, and everything we tried was delicious. We loved it.

Excellent beers and great service even though the place was packed. The food is prepared in advance and kept warm, so it arrives very quickly. My initial fear that the meat, etc., would be quite dry proved unfounded. Great! The gravy for the roast pork is very, very spicy, which is fine, but unfortunately the dumplings are far too spicy, resulting in a combination of dumplings and gravy that's so overpowering it's like biting into a bouillon cube.

A short break on the way home. I tried the excellent Weizen dunkel and then a slice of strudel. Next time we'll stay longer to try the cuisine. The staff was friendly and efficient.
