The star of the show, however, was undoubtedly the German wheat beer. It was perfectly balanced, with a creamy texture and a subtle citrusy aroma. Each sip was a delightful journey through the heart of Bavarian brewing tradition. While I didn't have the opportunity to sample the food, the kitchen's tantalizing aromas filled the air, promising a culinary adventure for another time. Joeseoo's Brouhouse is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Germany, a place where the flavors, the atmosphere, and the spirit of the country come together in perfect harmony.

A restaurant with excellent food and a fantastic atmosphere. The food is truly delicious, with plenty of regional and other interesting dishes. A large selection of beers, and very good ones at that. I recommend the pork knuckle and Bavarian sausage. I highly recommend it.

Very nice place with plenty of outdoor tables. The window display with the barrels is stunning. The cutlet is tasty, but the pork shank is a bit disappointing, not tender enough.

A modern brewery, with some attempts to give it a rustic feel, slightly built-up. The food was good, though mostly convenience food. Service was top-notch, quick, friendly, and everything was perfect and served quickly. For my taste, the selection could be expanded to include a seasonal beer! I'll be back when I get the chance ;)

It's better to come by car, as there are limited parking spaces for a few bikes. If you want to keep an eye on your bike, the staff might have been having a bad day.

Good menu. In addition to traditional Allgäu dishes, there are also burgers. The prices are reasonable. Average for Memmingen. The ambiance is almost like a hip mountain hut, but the size is quite nice. Service is very good. The food is good, but there are definitely better traditional options out there.

A charming place where you can see the beer kettles where it's brewed. You can sample the brews and order delicious food. The staff is also friendly. Online reservations are possible. Definitely recommended.

We were passing through and chose this hotel because of its location. We were very impressed with what they offered for the price. Small, soundproofed, and very functionally equipped rooms, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and crisp white linens 👍 We had a small, delicious dinner and enjoyed a very generous breakfast buffet in the morning. Unfortunately, this is a rare find, but the value for money is excellent, and the staff is extremely friendly. An absolute recommendation for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay while passing through or shopping in Memmingen. One tiny downside: the TV remote control is only hygienically safe to use with a plastic bag.

We had lunch with relatives at Joesepp's last Sunday. The Brauhaus Burger wasn't exceptional and a bit cold for my taste. The food overall (Brauhaus Maultaschen, chicken schnitzel, pork knuckles, and a variety of salads) was delicious, though. The attentive and very friendly staff provided us with an exemplary menu for allergy sufferers. However, they don't offer gluten-free dishes. Unfortunately, the table wasn't wiped down before our visit. Due to the successful integration of Memmingen's city history into the rustic ambiance, this restaurant is especially recommended for out-of-town guests seeking traditional, home-style dining. Everyone should try Joesepp's draft beer selection (Blonde, Schwarze, Weiße).

The weekly Joesepp's recommendation is a great one. We happened to have it on Joesepp's cheeseburger day. It's very filling and delicious.

Wanted a bite to eat. The place was half full. The woman was very distant when we asked for a table for four, which wasn't possible. Then four young men arrived, also without a reservation (we'd been chatting with them), and they were given a table. I strongly suspect they weren't interested in children. Such a shame.

First of all: our waiter was very nice, but a bit overwhelmed. It took quite a while to get the menus, and then again to take our orders. But the longest wait was for the food, but that's not the waiter's fault. The food was good, and the portions were a normal size. Would we come back? Not really.

We only got 1L of beer in a gift bottle, it was absolutely delicious.

A super clean, comfortable hotel, close to the highway, with a great restaurant and delicious beer. Perfect for us on our way from Italy. It was raining, so we stayed inside, but I think Memmingen's city center is definitely worth a visit. We slept on the street side, but with the windows closed (and the air conditioning on), we heard absolutely nothing. I've also read negative reviews, but I can't quite place them.

Joe is short for Joseph and Sepp in German is short for Joseph. So JoeSepp or Joe Joe or Sepp Sepp. Loved the ambiance, upbeat, warm, and fun. Bon Apetit!

We had dinner at a traditional German restaurant, which also had its own brewery. The food and menu were very typical for Germany, with a wide selection of dishes and plenty of beer. The service was friendly. Unfortunately, we could only pay through one person, which caused some unnecessary delay. The food was good, but not particularly special. Overall, it was mostly a fun and authentic experience.

We stopped by for lunch and easily got a table in the beer garden. It's partially covered by an awning, making it a pleasant place to linger even in bad weather. Service was fast, and drinks and food were served quickly. I actually wished the food had arrived within what felt like five minutes of ordering. But everything was fine; orders were processed, and the food was first-class.

A noisy, large place with a nice, relaxed atmosphere, a typical German beer hall. I can't comment on the cuisine, because I only ate Maultauschensuppe (a kind of broth with meat dumplings cut in half) - very good😊

The food was very good and reasonably priced for lunch (cheese dumplings). Service was friendly. Card payments accepted. Unfortunately, the outdoor area is "only" shaded by parasols, but the heat still penetrated from above. Trees would have been much better here.

Good food, the best pork shank I've eaten in Germany in recent times. The lager beer, produced by them, is a bit spartan and far from the cleanliness that such beers should have. The environment is modern but welcoming, it remains simple but is a bit more elegant than the classic German beer halls. Also the prices, good and honest.

Great beer, great food, let down by slow service. Ok, it was a friday evening when I visited this place and it was busy. But....there wasn't enough staff serving or taking orders. It took about 10 mins to get a menu. Then 5 mins to order. Then another 5 for my drink to arrive. This is a shame as otherwise the place is fantastic. The building is modern and smart looking. There is brewing equipment on show. The house beer are very good quality and taste amazing. This map the sole purpose of my visit here. The food was secondary. But I have to admit the food was fantastic. I loved it nearly as much as the beer. The dark beer being the best of the bunch. They do a menu in English if you are for it. Well priced for such a nice place.

I ordered a medium steak with salad and beer. The steaks are prepared in three variants, with a choice of three types of side dishes. The menu is seasonal. The prices are competitive: for a 250g steak, with a generous portion of salad and delicious garlic butter, the price is €27.50.

Delicious food, excellent beer from the restaurant's own brewery, friendly service, spacious and modern ambiance, yet still comfortably furnished. Large outdoor area, with the interior open to the outdoors. After a downpour, the space felt great! We'd be happy to return...!

Other note: The grilled chicken breast with spaetzle, market vegetables, and cream sauce for €17.90 was very tasty. But for the price, I would have expected more; unfortunately, I only ate half of it. The original Allgäu cheese spaetzle with mountain cheese, melted onions, and a side salad for €14.90 was a sufficient portion for my companion. Enjoy your beer 🍺!

I always enjoy coming here, especially for the sausage salad. Everything else is also from nothing to complain about to very good. The staff is quick and friendly. It's been a bit of a bummer since today when the supposed head waiter touches the knives by the edge to sort them into the wooden containers. Absolutely unacceptable. A disgrace.

Very good food. There were four of us, and all the dishes were excellent. The beer is also delicious, and there's a good selection of wines. The prices are reasonable; I've had worse for more money. The service was very friendly and took good care of us, even though it was very busy. Beautiful beer garden and a very pleasant atmosphere inside.

For a brewery, the portions were only average. Unfortunately, the food is also only average.

Absolutely recommendable..gladly again

We were guests at the brewery with a group of people with disabilities. When we asked for a pureed meal, we were again reluctantly told that this would have to be clarified with the kitchen. A staff member explained that the resident could only eat pureed food. A snide reply was received that the resident could eat soup. After a long discussion with the kitchen and a discussion with us, a solution was finally found. We didn't feel comfortable with our clients, with the service staff.

We were there with a very large group (for business), and the atmosphere was great and the staff very friendly. The food was also delicious and the value for money was good. Highly recommended.

The brewery is great, yes! However, they should pay attention to their service staff, as our waitress today was so irritable that she didn't get a single cent of a tip. Other waitresses around us, on the other hand, were really friendly. 👍 The beef roulade with dumplings and vegetables was very tender, and the sauce was exceptionally good. For the price, however, they could at least have served a larger portion of vegetables on the plate or a small side salad! The fries were excellent and not overly salty. 👌 Add as much ketchup and mayo as you like. The side salad (here, the large one!) was also very well dressed and made with a variety of leaf salads. We'll be back, hopefully with a waitress who knows what she's doing.

The ambiance was nice, if a bit cramped. The service was monotonous and anything but friendly. The food wasn't high quality. The burger, for almost €20, was a bit risky, as the beef was dry and even tough and very dark around the edges. The onions had been sitting for a while. I won't be going there again.

No words!! One of the best pork knuckles we've had in a long time. Incredibly tender and juicy meat, the crust was perfectly golden brown and crispy. We made a reservation because it's quite busy in the evenings. At least, it was when we were there. The waiters are very friendly and find just the right tone. The ambiance is beautifully designed and invites you to linger. We've been there a few times and will definitely visit this great place again!

The staff is very good and attentive. The ambiance is rustic. The food tastes good, but the quantity is sometimes manageable; for example, four asparagus spears and some ham should be a main course. Luckily, we had soup beforehand, otherwise some guests would have left hungry. The flatbreads, on the other hand, are good value for money.

The beer garden and the restaurant are really nice, the service was absolutely attentive and fast, but I couldn't put down the food and had to go back because it was too greasy and made my stomach upset. I had a meat planter with side dishes. But I also have to say that I've had a very good meal there, so this review is only based on this one time.
