There are parking spaces about 50 meters across the street from the beer meadow, a public parking lot for city visitors

We got a table for two directly at the entrance...Friday evening at around 8 p.m. without a reservation. The waiter at reception tried very hard to accommodate us...including the guests who were coming. He was really very friendly. The service was also very friendly. The restaurant was full and therefore it was very loud. So if you want to eat something in peace and quiet, this is the wrong place for you. Food was brought quickly. It tasted good but not outstanding. Portion might have been too small for some people. Just right for me to fill me up. Cocktail was good.

Nice welcome, attentive service. Canteen atmosphere, which you may also know from Sausalitos. Despite being very busy at peak times, food was prepared quickly. Tastes good, generous portion(s). If you can handle the volume, it's a nice way/variety to eat.

I've been here several times. The food is always delicious. Today I was here and unfortunately they had taken my favorite dish (pollo y platano) off the menu. I ordered another dish with chicken and potatoes. It was also super tasty and the meat was perfect. There were a few specials for Dia de los Muertes. That was great. I'm still happy about the salt shakers I won. Keep it up!

It was cozy. The food was very good, although relatively expensive. Very attentive staff. The cocktails, however, were very weakly mixed (due to happy hour?). We each drank 2 cocktails, but didn't feel the alcohol at all, even though we rarely drink cocktails.

If you don't actively order, you will come away empty-handed. The employees only come on their own at the beginning, after that the glasses stay empty if you don't make an independent effort to get something.

Para nuestro placer encontramos Joe Peña y nos dieron la bienvenida enseguida para la cena. El menú era muy completo y tenía descripciones detalladas que nos absorbió. Fajitas de Pollo y Carne para mi marido y quesadillas de queso/mango para mí. La salsa de piña estaba un poco picante pero muy sabrosa como complemento a la mía. Sin duda volveré para probar más!

The food itself tasted good to everyone, but there was completely moldy vegan cheese on one plate and unfortunately I already tried it before I saw it and I think moldy food is really bad. After complaining, the person received a new plate with a replacement cheese that wasn't moldy, but the apology was very short, and I don't think something like that should happen. But since the light is darker inside, you may not have seen it in the kitchen/inside.

Deutsches mexikanisches Essen! Preis-Leistung passt nicht. Nur in der HappyHour interessant wegen den Cocktails. Essen ist gut, aber langweilig, hat nicht wirklich was mit mexikanischem Essen ( Würze) zu tun! Zu dem ist das Essen relativ teuer! Zu fünft bist du schnell mal 180 Euro los - satt aber nicht zufrieden!? Bedienung langsam, aber relativ aufmerksam!

The fajitas with the meat were very tough, the chochzio was rather below average and the whole thing for 30€... the portion was large but I would have preferred more quality and a smaller portion...

For a restaurant there is very little light

Were there for the first time (Tuesday). We enjoyed it very much. The portions were large. We were fed up. Food came quickly. For us it was also well seasoned, but there is also salt and pepper on the table for additional seasoning. We will be back.

Im Restaurant war es sehr laut, alle schrien laut, wie in einer Schulkantine. Der Kellner war ok. Die von uns bestellten Cocktails waren gut. Aber die Steaks waren schrecklich… sehr trocken und das Fleisch war vom Koch ruiniert. Der Rechnung - 90 Euro und davon waren nur die Cocktails lecker. Der Salat wurde seltsam präsentiert - die Hälfte der Blätter warten nicht geschnitten. Die Süßkartoffelpommes waren etwas verbrannt und schmeckten schrecklich. Wir werden nie mehr hingehen - es ist nicht lecker und sehr ungemütlich

Menu is unstructured and classified by zones in Mexico instead of kind of food. But at the end food is more Tex.Mex than mexican. It is ok but could be better. High prices.

Not a bad facility. But: We expected more variety of flavors from the dishes. There was a lack of salt in the meat, spiciness in the pepper sauce and cheese in the cheese sauces. Instead of the sauce in the second picture, the taco only has regular sour cream 👎🏻 There are significant savings on products. Therefore, there is no desire to go back and try again. In addition, the facility has no overall concept at all. There is no music played, lanterns and candles are only on a few tables. There are clearly not enough waiters. They move very quickly, but you can tell they are very tired. I also didn't like the shandy at all, the taste was too sweet and plummy. For a change, you can visit the place with friends, but if you value the atmosphere, this is not the place.

You rarely read reviews with information about child-friendliness. As a mom, I think that's important, hence my rating for families who are wondering whether you can eat well here with children. We were there with 3 children, 9, 7 and 3 years old. There is also a children's menu (not available online), the tablecloth was made of paper and there were crayons on the table. Where can you paint on the tablecloth? Great idea and of course a good activity for young and old. Should introduce a lot more restaurants. The food was very, very good, delicious starters, great main courses and of course dessert wasn't missing either. All highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

This is a very popular place to meet up in Ludwigsburg. Booking is definitely recommended if you're a larger group or visiting at peak evening hours. The atmosphere is loud and lively. Very friendly and accommodating. They even have an a English menu. Service was good, absolutely no complaints Super easy to park with Akademiehof parking just next door. Drink menu was strong with lots of choice for cocktails. Food was OK. I do not think it did justice to the richness of Mexican cuisine and flavour. In summary, go there if you want a fun place to meet up with friends and have some food and drinks. Do not go there if your focus is to get good Mexican food. 4 star rating in my opinion is fair because with the right mindset it's a really good night out.

We Mexicans love to make fun of ourselves, but that's a bit too much of a good thing. The menu has little to do with Mexican cuisine and the dishes hardly differ (side dishes always consist of rice, beans and salad in a tortilla basket). A little tip: Culinary diversity thrives in Mexico!

Boss was very nice. Got a very meager portion, had to ask my friend to eat at home so I could be full. Instead of an ear of corn, there was a kernel of corn. Chimichanga for €20 was a kindergarten edition. I expected more. Is there a supplement available upon request? Then I'd love to come back!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Bedienung war außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam, hat immer wieder gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist (!!!). Die Vorspeise war so groß wie ein Hauptgericht (!), also besser auf mehrere Personen aufteilen, wenn man noch ein Hauptgericht essen will. Alle Speisen haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Hierfür 5 Sterne. Der wirklich einzige erwähnenswerte negative Punkt ist, dass das Restaurant sehr groß und damit extrem laut ist. Man muss sich fast anschreien. Für eine ausgelassene Runde im Mensafeeling sehr gut, für ein romantisches Dinner nicht so geeignet.

We were here on a Saturday evening and although it was very crowded, we got a table within 2 minutes. The food was very good, and so was the service. I recommend booking a table if you’re going to eat there in a weekend.
