We had food delivered from L'Osteria yesterday via Lieferando. After two hours, it finally arrived: two panzerotti spinaci. Our enthusiasm was limited...they were dumplings soaked in cream soup with spinach on top. The sauce was completely runny and didn't taste good. Neither of us finished it, and who would have thought otherwise? I spent the whole night sitting over the toilet, and my sister was on the toilet. I'd rather not order that again.

I ate a pizza there and have had nausea and stomach problems ever since. This has happened to me several times now. It's definitely the restaurant's fault. Definitely avoid it!

The food is excellent, the staff is very fast and on time, but not 5 stars for me for the forcefully implemented american tipping culture, i was going to leave tip, i always do, but when put in front of you that you must tip or it would be uncomfortable to deny it, not cool, Europe doesnt need the american tipping culture.

I arrived at 10:20 PM (the restaurant is open until 11 PM) and, after a brief discussion, I was offered a glass of wine. A young lady with super friendly service. I guess you just have to accept that tables and chairs are being cleared and cleaned before closing time when you arrive that late 😉

Great food. Service is excellent, but orders take a while, so plan ahead. Portions are more than generous and the value is excellent. There's plenty of parking in the shopping center.

Too bad – good food, disappointing service this time We spontaneously went to L'Osteria with 10 people and wanted to sit outside on the terrace in the nice weather. Unfortunately, our first impression of the service was rather negative. The waiter (bald, southern-looking) seemed unmotivated and told us that they weren't allowed to put tables together outside and that we should ask the manager inside for a seat. Honestly, it felt like he just didn't feel like serving us anymore. Fortunately, the manager herself came outside at that moment and clarified the situation – of course, we were allowed to sit outside, and she then easily pushed three tables together for us. That was very professional of her and saved the evening. Unfortunately, the waiter's behavior was a real mood killer. We even overheard an argument between him and the manager later. The impression remained: no motivation, no desire to welcome the guests. When he finished work at 10 p.m., the tension had noticeably subsided. The food was good as always – solid L'Osteria quality. But the poor service at the beginning unfortunately made the evening less relaxing for us than it could have been. We work in the restaurant industry ourselves and know how stressful it can be to accommodate a large group just before closing time – but intentionally giving false information to guests is simply unacceptable. We deliberately didn't tip this time – which is a rare occurrence for us. But thanks again to the manager/shift supervisor, you're doing a very professional and excellent job!

Super great staff. Four of us arrived and the place was packed. They immediately looked for a table and prepared it for us. Excellent pizza. Our friend wanted to order a tomato salad with his meal. The menu included a tomato salad with burrata, but you couldn't order it without burrata. We all found this uncustomer-oriented and inflexible. So, there's room for improvement and a deduction for the service (the waitress tried, but apparently it didn't work). Very nice ambiance. Conversation was limited because it was very loud overall – probably due to the full restaurant. But definitely an asset to Ludwigsburg in terms of pizzas.

Four different employees come over every five minutes and ask if you want anything else. The restaurant wasn't full despite yesterday's heat, but you still feel shooed away and unwelcome. Unfortunately, the pushiness and excessively high prices are more noticeable than the quality of the food.

Well... I have to be honest: I'm not an easy guest. I'm critical, hungry, and—worse still—halfway culinary educated. I've eaten truffles in Umbria, slurped pasta in Bologna, and once even survived an espresso in Naples. In short: You can't fool me. But then came L'Osteria Ludwigsburg. And folks... I tell you: What. A. Board. As soon as I entered, I thought: "Oops! Am I still in Baden-Württemberg or have I just happened to be in a lively Italian piazza?" That light, those warm tones, the semi-open kitchen setting where you can watch the pizzaiolo twirling the dough almost like a ballet dancer—yes, this isn't a restaurant, it's a small stage play with three acts: appetizer, main course, dessert. The music was just right—not too loud, not too quiet, no elevator music. You feel like you're in an extended Italian family, but without the uncle who always wants to talk politics. Instead: friendly laughter, the scent of fresh basil in the air, and somewhere a waiter whispers the word tiramisu with a charming accent. I mean, who can resist that? And the service... Holy ravioli! So friendly, so attentive – genuinely friendly, not that rehearsed, "I'm smiling because I have to" face. But genuine interest. The waitress (shoutout to Lisa, you hero!) not only asked if I enjoyed my pizza, but also suggested, with a wink, that the pizza was so big you could cover your car with it if necessary. Exactly my kind of humor! Speaking of pizza: This slice of dough was bigger than my future prospects after high school. Thin, crispy, with a tomato sauce that tasted as if Grandma still made it herself in the kitchen. The toppings: not overdone, but thoughtful. Each piece a small masterpiece of Mediterranean cuisine. I felt like the olives had names. So much love went into it. And the best part? Despite the size, every corner was crispy, hot, and simply "Mamma Mia"-like. The management? Let me put it this way: If this crew managed an airport, there would never be delays again. I've rarely seen a team that works together so smoothly, covering each other's backs, intervening, smiling, and even joking around with each other – all while the audience watched. No chaos, no stress – just passion and a perfectly organized operetta of gastronomy. At the end of the evening, I wasn't just full – I was emotionally fulfilled. Happy. A bit like after a really good first date, when you know this won't be the last. And then there was that limoncello on the house. I mean… come on. Even a stone would cry with emotion.

At 8:40 p.m. in 30-degree heat, we were no longer allowed to sit outside due to the quiet time, which, according to the waitress, begins at 10 p.m. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand why, and we had to find a new restaurant.

I ordered food through Lieferando, and after about an hour of waiting, my order was canceled. I spoke to a nice man from Losteria on the phone, and he said he was sorry and that I should contact Lieferando directly. Of course, I did, and they just said, "I got my money back and I should just be happy with that." Great service 😉

The waitress, Angela, was extremely friendly and accommodating. A true angel. A fantastic shop! The service was top-notch – attentive, quick, and truly personable. You immediately felt at ease, as if you'd been there forever. Everything was relaxed yet totally professional. Exactly the kind of service that makes you want to come back. I definitely recommend it; it definitely won't be the last time I'm there!

I give 5 stars for the pizza and pasta. The staff were always nice and friendly but last time there was a waiter who is not friendly with a strange behaviour.

The food is delicious, clean, plentiful, and the prices are reasonable. You have a great chef, Mr. Rawad. I wish him and his staff all the best in their work. All employees do their jobs to the best of their ability. Especially Ms. Anstasia; that's how customers want to greet her, with a smile and a warm welcome. This Friday evening, I spontaneously stopped by L'Osteria with my son for pizza. We received a friendly welcome and were able to choose a free table. It didn't take long for our order to be taken by the super-friendly Anastasia. After a perfectly reasonable amount of time, our drinks, appetizer, and pizza were brought to us. We felt completely at home throughout our entire visit. I went to L'Osteria with a friend today for pizza, and the waitress was amazing. She was so friendly and truly accommodating, and all the staff seemed very polite. This made the atmosphere truly enjoyable. Personally, I think the service makes up 50% of the dining experience. A truly top 10/10. A huge thank you to Angi, our amazing waitress.

A truly great atmosphere and a very good location. The service was super friendly and accommodating. The pizza of the month with spicy salami and burrata was divine 🤤 I'd love to eat it again right away. The only thing that's completely unacceptable are the chairs. Mixing modern with vintage might fit the ambiance, but these very old, discarded classroom chairs are completely out of place and are incredibly uncomfortable. But everything else was really good and gave me a good feeling when I left 😊

I went to L'Osteria and ordered a salad – unfortunately, they overlooked the fact that it contained ham. We weren't told anything beforehand, even though it was clear that we were Muslims and didn't eat pork. When we realized it, they took the salad back, but we still had to pay for it in full – claiming it was our fault. No understanding, no consideration. Truly disappointing.

Delicious, large pizzas, very good for the price. Service is OK. The restrooms and ambiance are clean, well-maintained, and modern. Always a good place for pizza.

Last Sunday, the kitchen apparently closed much earlier than stated on the website. At 10:00 PM, you couldn't order anything anymore, even though the restaurant is supposedly open until 11:00 PM. At least if you arrive early, everything's fine, except for the high noise level.

First of all, the staff is great!!! Very dedicated, friendly, and attentive!!! The lasagna wasn't my cup of tea. It's also described on the menu as having béchamel sauce, but it's without it and overall, it's really nothing special. The pizza was excellent.

Ordered two pasta dishes and a pizza tonight. Unfortunately, the Bolognese hardly had any meat in it, and the pizza was considerably smaller than before, with only three slices of salami on top. :( The lasagna was great, though 👌

Losteria is one of my go-to restaurants for family reunions or meeting friends. The food is always great, the service is always friendly, but the waiting times are a little longer

Rating: 1 star Visit on April 17, 2025 We had made a reservation for five people at L’Osteria Ludwigsburg. When we arrived, our table was already taken - without any information, without an apology. An employee asked, but then a woman with dark hair came (probably a shift manager or “champion” – no idea what she was exactly). Her manner was completely disrespectful and condescending. With a dismissive gesture she simply sent us to another table in the corner, as if we were a nuisance. It wasn't the normal employees who were the problem - it was this woman who behaved in a completely unprofessional manner. Not a bit of understanding, not an apology, nothing. Anyone who makes a reservation also expects to be treated like a guest - not like someone who is simply deported. We're never coming back. And that's exactly why this bad rating is absolutely deserved.

It's located in the Marstall Center and I have to say it took me quite a long time to find it. But when I arrived, I was greeted by very, very friendly staff. The food was super tasty. I was thrilled about the stay.

The service was great. When it comes to pizzas, the focus is on quantity. However, most pizzerias find it difficult to make good dough. If a salsiccia pizza is offered on the menu, then I would like salsiccia and not salami. Will have been my only visit there.

I work as a mini-jobber at L’Osteria and am really very satisfied. The team – both male and female – is super friendly, helpful and professional. Working together is fun, you quickly feel welcome and comfortable. I would especially like to highlight Kim – she is simply amazing! The way she leads the team and deals with everyone is admirable. I am grateful to be part of this team.

Very friendly staff, even though the restaurant was very busy, we were served quickly. The pizzas there are delicious, oversized, and really only manageable if you're extremely hungry! If you actually eat them all, they're unfortunately almost cold by the end. Overall, we can definitely recommend this restaurant; we'll be happy to come back next time!

Fourteen of us went out for pizza on Saturday night. The pizza was good, but it was way too loud. The background music was awful. We couldn't even hear the people sitting next to us. We asked the staff to turn it down. However, the manager seems to be adjusting the music to the volume in the room. None of the fourteen of us will be coming back. As long as the music is this loud, we won't recommend it to anyone.

Very large and delicious pizzas, friendly service, and an atmosphere that I personally find excellent. Next time, I'll try the pasta.

The restaurant is located inside the shopping mall, but it also has outdoor seating. The pizzas were not bad, the service was fast and friendly. You can order the two pizzas you like in half and order them as one pizza. Pizzas are very big and filling. We paid 25.00 Euros for a pizza and two drinks, the prices are normal.

Here the pizzas are so big that they hang 15 cm over the edge of the plate. The pasta dishes are also great. Service and atmosphere very nice, clean and fast. I like eating there.

After we had to wait over 40 minutes for our starter and the receipt was supposedly lost, only half of our pizza arrived 20 minutes later because the other half was supposedly stuck in the oven. We could have chosen a small dessert as an apology. Which is an absolute disgrace. During the 40 minutes no one came to us to even ask if we wanted something more to drink. Full understanding for the lack of staff but that was an absolute disgrace. Absolutely no recommendation as you probably have to wait 40 minutes for bruschetta.

Very nice restaurant. In the evening we spontaneously got a nice place by the window. My service mouse was called Anastasia, she was super nice, often asked if everything was okay and was super friendly. I can only recommend the restaurant and especially the gnocchi gamberetti were very tasty. If the restaurant is busy it can be a bit noisy but you can still have a normal conversation.
