Japan Sushi Gourmet in München

A restaurant that is cheap and has a local feel. But the taste is authentic. Simple and authentic Japanese cuisine. The ease of use is also great. You can also order sushi individually. I'm not looking for fancy Japanese food. I really hope that there will be more shops like this one!

Ramen was really good, but the sushi was warm and gave me food poisoning.

The attitude of the receptionist, who was probably not really Japanese, was so bad that I didn't want to go there again. I like udon, so I wanted to drink all the soup, but the lady thought I was done eating and came to collect the bowl, so I tried to drink it before she took it away, but she let out a big sigh and turned her head to the side with a very grim expression on her face. I waved and left. For a moment, I wondered if I even ate it? I looked at him with such contempt that I thought, I should have drank the udon soup, right? Probably not Japanese. I heard from an acquaintance that the people here can understand Japanese, so the moment I spoke to him in Japanese, his face became serious and suddenly he became unfriendly. There was no response, ``Yes'' or ``Yes''. But the friend I went with (a German) was all smiles. I thought it was really scary to see the other German customers smiling from ear to ear, and it was also scary because it was so quiet inside the store. Will I be able to enjoy the food? I wondered. Other stores I've been to seemed to be more fun, and inside the store, the staff seemed to be having fun, the work was efficient, and the customers seemed to be having fun, but this place was incomparably scarier. is. I didn't enjoy the taste either. My friend who eats everything said the ramen was really bad. I had udon, but I had no appetite. For some reason, it always contains seaweed, which I don't like, so when I asked for it to be separated, I was told, "No, that's not possible," and at other restaurants, I was told, "It's perfectly fine!" That was scary, too. I wondered if they were kind enough to give me a small plate or share it with me. I don't want to give even one star. I don't want to eat there again. I don't think there's any need to come here just because the sushi is cheap, and I know there are other places that are cheaper, so I thought that would be better. This lady made me feel like I was eating delicious udon noodles.

If you are looking for a totally authentic Japanese dining experience, look elsewhere. This being said they serve decent quality at a totally fair price, so for a quick meal it’s a really good option.

The food was more or less fine, but VERY little for that price. For 10/11 € we got very small portions of rice and fish on top. Also we got only wooden chopsticks (not reusable) and the woman looked very angry when we didn't order any drinks... Even though we were the only customers. She was also unhappy when didn't wanna pay cash :D

Service was quick and friendly. Not for sitting for hours, but good for delicious meals.

Anyone who orders something to eat here is immediately reminded of their last vacation in Japan: the restaurant is small and down-to-earth, but very similar to the Japanese version of a simple and good soup kitchen. In addition to soup, there is a good selection of sushi and other Japanese delicacies. Attention: if you expect a “Western Japanese restaurant” or “Running Sushi” and other bells and whistles, you’re in the wrong place here.

Trust me, the female waitress was crazily unfriendly. No greeting at the beginning and the end of the dining experience, no smile, but sour face. And ridiculously, she smiles and laughs with white people. Shame on her. And they only accept payment by card over 20 euro. This is insane. I had no cash on me and offered to pay by card. Then she simply put 20 on the payment terminal, even my food didn’t cost that much. The food was just fine at that price. Definitely not worthy to eat with such discriminatory service.

8:55 p.m. and we were refused a table. There are 2 of us and it says online that it closes at 9:30 p.m. Plus I called an hour before and they didn't answer

Even if the name doesn't suggest it: authentic Japanese restaurant that's also very cheap. Small kitchen, but a large menu with izakaya dishes, sushi, ramen and donburi. The food comes quickly and tastes like Japan. A nice, small shop with a well-rehearsed, solid team. There are also funny signs inviting you to order the classic edamame and beer. In a hipper neighborhood, with a hipper interior, this could be a hype store. So it remains an insider tip for everyone who likes cheap Japanese food.

The food is above average, but the service we received was horrible, the staff was super rude.

Wonderful staff with a good menu variety of sushi, soups, and noodle dishes. Sushi was good felt the ramen and udon dishes were a little bland. Would definitely visit again.

A bit nondescript and the inside looks a bit diner-like. But sushi and the like taste really good. You can put together your own selection on small pieces of paper at the table. Alternatively, there are ready-made menus, good prices. The owner is nice, we like to come there again and again.

There are many Chinese-Japanese restaurant in Munich but this one is authentic Japanese restaurant that I want to visit again. As others say I would not recommend going if you are expecting very good service and quality food. Price is reasonable for the quality but, they only accept cash.

Definitely Japanese sushi! ! Even the sushi toppings that are not available are imported from Japan, so the taste is as close to Japanese as possible. It seems like they haven't raised their prices for about 10 years, but with the recent inflation, they can't bear it anymore, so they've raised their prices a bit, but I guarantee you the taste. The landlady was also Japanese and friendly. Try real Japanese sushi👍🇯🇵

Best sushi in Munich hands down. All the options of nigiri and maki you could want. Uni, ikura, Saba - so many good options. Fish is good quality and prices are reasonable. Very nice Japanese staff and service.

Je suis allé dans ce restaurant suite aux excellents commentaires. J’avoue que j’étais déçu. Rien à dire sur le prix, très abordable. Par contre, je n’ai pas aimé la cuisine. J’avais pris un mélange à 16€. Les sushis et makis ne semblaient pas frais. J’avais l’impression que c’etait des produits décongelés. Moi qui adore les sushis, je me suis forcé à les finir, et je suis ressorti en me disant que je n’avais pas aimé. Désolé pour ce commentaire négatif, mais je préfère payer plus cher et sentir que je me suis régalé.

The place is fantastic. The food tastes great and authentic and the portion sizes are reasonable. The prices are astoundingly low for a restaurant in Munich, let alone for one this good. Idk why people are saying the staff is unfriendly, to me they were neutral at worst and just trying to get the food to you. I also loved the atmosphere, it was almost as if we went back in time the moment we set foot in the place. Would recommend!

Lovely tiny restaurant for a quick lunch. Price is good, food is delicious, the broth of ramen is delicious and rice with tempura shrimps is tasty but the portion is normal very small and sometimes the waitress lady is quit unfriendly

Nice, relatively cheap and quick japanese food

Jede Woche Stammtisch hier und bisher noch nie enttäuscht gewesen. Überaus preisgünstig, schnell, und authentisch-Superlecker.

Das beste Preis Leistungsverhältnis was ich bisher hatte, das Sushi ist super lecker und immer frisch die Suppen dort sind auch echt lecker und die Vorspeisen kann man alle empfehlen, voreinigen die Gyoza und die Edamame. Service ist super lieb und schnell. Nur das Ambiente ist nicht mehr das schönste, aber der Vibe ist da und macht das alles wieder rund.

Und wieder ein absolutes Top-Highlight für Gourmets der Asiatischen Küche. Wie so oft werden hier viele Variationen aus verschiedenen Ländern angeboten, im Schwerpunkt Japanisch. Das Essen ist sehr frisch und authentisch zubereitet. Der Service nach einer längeren Wartezeit sehr fix. Nichts würde aufgeschrieben, nix würde vergessen. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommenen, kann man auch mögen. Keine Parkplätze, Bezahlungen unter 15 Euro mit Karte nicht möglich. Mittagsmenü sehr günstig, bis 15 Uhr.
