The highlight is the waiters and bar staff. They are super friendly and accommodating.

A really nice Irish pub with a very lively atmosphere. They have a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with good quality food and very nice staff. And you can also get some card games and dice games to play with your friends.

A wonderful bartender organized a wonderful study of shots for us, similar to Russian roulette, and it was so fascinating and don’t forget that I’ll repeat it again.

Quaint old half-timbered house. Friendly guests and prompt service. If you like pubs, this is the place to be.

A hidden gem! Great pints (Guinness) and really, really awesome food! The burgers are absolutely amazing and the wings are fantastic (coming from a Canadian that’s huge praise!). Don’t miss out on this place!

They often open much earlier than the times listed online. The drinks are great, it's cozy, and some of the waiters could be nicer. But I keep coming back :)

What a shame that such a lovely place has such unfriendly and inflexible staff. They couldn't find us a table (after all, a group of nine hard-drinking guests). No big deal. We could stand and enjoy the atmosphere. But we weren't allowed to either, because we were supposedly in the way. Our subsequent quiet inquiry was met with a "ban from the premises." No problem. Never again. Every bar is more flexible, friendlier, and more focused on sales.

As an England fan, I can only say that it was one of the nicest pubs I've been to outside of Great Britain, and a good beer selection too!

Irish bar, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, they don’t play music (like almost every place we’ve been to in Bonn). The beer was good.

Nice atmosphere, we love this pub. But the nationalist slogans on the door of the ladies' restroom are a no-go (see photos) and spoil the pub's good impression. They incite nationalist conflicts. It's written in Ukrainian and means "Sieg Heil to Ukraine and death to all Russians." Such slogans should be removed immediately. I hope that this propaganda won't be seen on my next visit!

I ordered two cocktails, but instead they just sold me mineral water for €16 :) When I asked why the cocktail was without alcohol, the bartender claimed that there was alcohol in the drink. no, he wasn't. it was just mineral water. me and my friends will never visit this place again. Thank you 👍

This beautiful Irish pub has flair, friendly service and good food. Here you can play billiards and darts.

What a pleasent and authentic pub we encountered during our trip to Bonn. Props to the owner and waitress, for serving a full bar the way they do.

Stopped in briefly to drink 1-2 beers. We had the pub almost to ourselves as it was still early in the afternoon. But that wasn't bad. Ordered at the counter 🍺 and paid straight away, then watched a bit of football.

Unfortunately, we weren't here for long because when we were looking for a wheelchair-friendly place, the staff rudely pointed out that standing in the hallway was undesirable and that we were a nuisance. Then just do not.

Rustic atmosphere, very friendly staff, seats by the windows unfortunately a bit drafty (uncomfortable in winter), food ok, toilets in a dilapidated condition. If you want to go after 7 p.m., we recommend booking a table.

The selection of drinks was very rich and good. During the meal there was a small but very good menu. My BBC burger was very tasty. We had ordered, otherwise it would be difficult to get a seat on Friday evening.

Irish pub in the middle of Bonn. Rather inconspicuous from the outside on a side street of Galeria Kaufhof. Interior is a bit old but very comfortable. The highlight, however, are the various types of beer, which are not available everywhere.

Very poor treatment and disrespectful behavior from the security guard on October 19, 2024. around 11 p.m.! I've been here a few times, but today I was there with 3 guests and after I asked for free seats for 4 people, he looked at me unpleasantly/impolitely/disrespectfully and said (sweatpants) I don't know. Then I said your statement and behavior is not at all pleasant, he replied that's true and he looked at the person standing next to him and said for once you can come in. Even called our friends: bosses bosses you can come in. Of course we decided on another pub!

Cozy, run-down Irish pub, totally winding house which gives the shop a special charm. I can only recommend him.

Unfortunately, things are no longer like they used to be. Today was the first time I went to the pub again after the Corona period and ordered something. However, the portion was very small, without any side dish and probably weighed less than 100 grams - and that for 12 euros. I wonder how you can call something like that an order and then bring it to the table. Swim yourselves!

We like to come here during the week for a game of cards. On the weekend, however, things get very busy in the pub.

Very nice atmosphere and drink selection. Friendly and welcoming staff could also give suggestions on what to drink/try. The food is also very tasty, especially the chicken burger. Best Guinness in Bonn, always fresh from the tap :)

The pub is really extremely rustic - in addition to a classic taproom with a bar, there are adjoining rooms with nooks and crannies , cozy and quiet corners. Ideal for groups. However, the interior is extremely “worn out” and getting old, but still quite OK. You should definitely avoid the toilets, they are very dirty and simply disgusting. The beer is great, as you would expect from an Irish pub. An absolute low point is the food. Even by pub standards! Extremely bad - the citizen was dry, carelessly prepared and the ingredients between the two flabby cheapest buns were indefinable. It should be a “bacon burger”… I think any ready-made burger at Aldi is much better, as it only costs a fraction. You would be banned from entering Belgium for life for the fries. I had previously had “Fish & Chips”, which was even more terrible and far too expensive for heated, frozen mass-produced food. A pity! Why does that have to be so bad? I don't expect a star menu, but good quality food that's appropriate for the price. Well, you don't seem to have a real chef - but with a little practice and a few recipes from "Chefkoch" it would work. By the way, the service is super nice! Nevertheless, I will come back - but first eat somewhere else and empty my bladder.

Very cozy pub! I was able to reserve there for a larger number of people (25 people) without any problems. The service was great and I would book there again at any time!

Always the last stop to end a good evening with a few Mexicans and pale ales. The atmosphere is right, the beer is good, but what I always like best is the acoustics - the place can be full but you can still hear everyone at the table.

Actually a nice pub. We were there with a larger birthday group and couldn't all fit at one table. No problem as everything around was occupied. However, when a table became available, we were not allowed to sit there as it was supposed to be left free for potential customers. So unfortunately we had to stop and decided to leave and be potential customers somewhere else.

Classic Irish pub whose beer supplies leave nothing to be desired. Great atmosphere, for those interested the World Cup is usually on and there is delicious food while the kitchen is open. A karaoke machine is coming soon! Since the handsome and nice waiter with the mohawk arrived, my girlfriend no longer lets me go there alone.

Very crowded and loud (weekends) waitresses very stressed therefore a bit rude. Good selection of drinks. What was super annoying was that at some point there were crowds of people standing around in front of the bar. That made everything more crowded and louder... And the waiters couldn't get through either.

I had the worst experience ever. Yesterday I go there to grab a drink with my friends. As soon as we sit down the waiter asks us whether we were Erasmus students, which we aren’t. At that point hearing that we were not Germans he tells us that we’re not allowed to sit downstairs because international students have to go upstairs. After telling the waiter that even though we’re not Germans we should still have the right to sit as normal people in the bar, the waiter goes away and calls another waiter who comes to tell us that since we’re international we’re not allowed to stay and if we want to drink something we can only do so upstairs. Not to keep on discussing we leave the bar. Rarely I have met such rude, closed minded and xenophobic people in my life. I’m very disappointed and hurt by such behaviors, and I’m sure I’ll never go to this bar again.

Hmmm, what can I say. Unfortunately, I don't think it can go beyond "It's OK". The James Joyce has been around for many years and I used to love going there too. However, unfortunately things have not developed for the better. On our last visit we were a group of about 10 people... And we were given 2 menus... they were no longer up to date... Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for drinks or for anyone to come at all... the table was greasy/sticky... toilets were just ok... The steakhouse fries were tasteless and rather limp on the outside. The potato wedges with curd were very tasty. All in all, it was okay, but there was still room for improvement. Prices are ok. If the above doesn't bother you, you'll definitely have a wonderful evening there! :)

Went there as a group for a birthday. Unfortunately, the “chief waiter” (?) was super unfriendly. Engaged in discussions with several guests. You don't have to go there anymore - there are better shops in Bonn.

Beliebter Irish Pub in einer Seitenstraße der Bonner Innenstadt. Publikum überwiegend Twens. Ambiente im Erdgeschoss typisch Irish Pub. Im Obergeschoss eher Jugendzentrum mit Kicker, Dart etc.. In beiden Etagen nette und lockere Atmosphäre. Daumen hoch!

Einfach perfekt, im allen, Preis Leistung, Ambiente, Mitarbeiter..... Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Danke für diesen tollem Abend 😀

Netter Irish Pub mit sehr entspannter Atmosphäre. Hier kann man prima mit Freunden was trinken gehen aber auch zu Essen gibt es hier einiges leckeres und vergleichsweise recht preiswertes. Gemäß den Öffnungszeiten lässt es sich hier also auch gut zu Abend essen. Es gibt jede Menge Irisches Bier, Cidre, Whiskey und ähnliche alkoholische aber auch sehr viele alkoholfreie Getränke. Preise sind absolut akzeptabel. Man wird am Tisch bedient oder kann an die Bar gehen. Das Mobiliar ist zwar etwas veraltet aber dennoch sehr gemütlich.

Eine super urige Kneipe mit gutem Essen. Die Bierauswahl ist so groß, dass die Entscheidung schwer fällt. Und das direkt in der Bonner Innenstadt. Immer wieder gerne!
