An Irish pub in the heart of Bonn's old town. A large selection of whiskeys. Guinness on tap. Several screens for watching football. They fulfill requests regarding the game selection. The pub is a bit cramped, however, and the restrooms could use some renovation. Overall, though, this is a pub just like any you'd find in Ireland.

A very authentic Irish pub. Delicious Guinness and cider. Huge selection of whiskeys with a special whiskey menu. Excellent fries and perfectly salted. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Plenty of TVs spread throughout the pub, showing lots of live sports, including Bundesliga, rugby, etc. I highly recommend this Irish pub, my dears.

Great place to watch a match, wherever you sit, there is always a TV within the line of sight. Jack, the bartender is super friendly and pours an excellent pint of Guinness everytime. Definitely returning there often.

The barman is really nice and really takes the time to recommend something to you taste. The place has a real Irish atmosphere and they really do have lots of whiskies.

A nice little Irish pub with an international clientele. Many national and international sports are broadcast. The prices are reasonable, but not cheap, and the food on offer is decent.

Very nice, quaint pub. Unfortunately, the prices keep rising. For example, fish & chips for a whopping €21! Eating out is no longer an option. A 0.5 liter for €6.50 is no longer a good price for "just a beer." The owner will probably respond by saying that everything is getting more expensive. Sorry, me too, and the half liter for well over €6 has nothing to do with the general price increase.

Great pub. Staff and owner very friendly. Guinness was better than half the places in Dublin (definitely the best I have had in Germany) and they have Rothaus tannenzäpfle on draught. Burgers looked good but we only tried the snackboat which was as you would expect. Good atmosphere and was packed later in the evening. Good whiskey selection too.

A very relaxed pub or Irish pub. There are many types of whiskey and beer from Ireland to try here. Food is offered, but I haven't tried it (yet). Relaxed music plays in the background, mostly consisting of "oldies" from the 80s and 90s. I tried out a few different beers and finally settled on Stowford. This is actually apple cider (which is probably quite close to Hessian apple wine). However, there are also, for example, Guinness, Kilkenny Red Ale or Hop House Lager. I can only recommend a visit

Visited Flynn's whilst going to the Christmas Markets locally, A wonderful find by the end of the evening you felt like a local most importantly the best pint of Guinness served properly with care and love a great place, get in early stay till late. Thanks for a great evening.

We had arranged to meet up with friends for a pub quiz on a Tuesday and mentioned it when we entered the shop. It was supposed to start at 9 p.m. and when we asked shortly after 9 p.m. when it started, the waiter said that the boss would start it right away. We waited until 9:30 p.m., asked again and were told there wouldn't be one today. There are only 4 groups and it's not worth it. This could have been communicated to us sooner. Especially since it was known that we wanted to take part in Quiz Night. The pub was well filled for a Tuesday evening (I don't know where more groups could have fit). After all, a pub quiz is a great opportunity to attract guests even during the week. If it doesn't happen because the €15 winner's prize (a bottle of whiskey) is too expensive for you, then it's somehow like cheating. The three of us left €140 behind and moved on earlier than planned. Otherwise a very nice pub with friendly service & delicious food. Unfortunately, after this experience, I can only advise against choosing this pub on a Tuesday because you are hoping for a "fun quiz" - as you read in other reviews.

SUCH a good time. Irish bar out of nowhere in Bonn and they are fantastic. On Tuesdays they do trivia, and the host is great. Fantastic beer, great atmosphere. And PERFECT for English speakers!

Me and a group of mates visited several times during our stay in Bonn. Watched Euro footy and the Cricket T20 semi final England v India. Fantastic service, wide range of drinks including Stowford cider on tap and good pub grub. Well recommended and thanks for a great time.

Great boozer to watch sport. Staff very friendly and the prices look reasonable. Didn’t eat but from what I saw that also looked good and I’ll tuck into it next time.

I think this is the most authentic Irish pub in Bonn. For once, Irish people work here and the menu contains classic pub food, not anything fancy that doesn't belong there. Just around the corner in the other Irish pub you can eat steak and scampi, but not real fish and chips. And the music too. Top!!

Cozy pub with a good beer selection and good music. The burger itself was good, the fries were lukewarm and limp, and that for a whopping 17 euros! Unfortunately, the billing was incorrect and the friendly service miscalculated in their favor. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

Cozy feel-good atmosphere. It's cozy, quaint and full of nice people. The food is very tasty - especially fish and chips on Friday. The condition friendly, nice and very fast. When I sat at the counter, I was surprised at the care with which the glasses are washed here - I have never seen such a high level of hygiene before. In addition, there is a quiz evening every Tuesday, lovingly designed and nicely moderated by the owner. My absolute favorite place for a beer in Bonn

Very nice Irish pub. Quite small, and therefore quite crowded on Saturday evenings. But it was completely fine. There is, among other things, a great selection of whiskey and changing beers from a small Bonn brewery. The service staff were VERY attentive and very nice. It was a nice evening!

Such a nice and cozy place to stop by for some fish and chips (just on Fridays) and a couple of beers from the tap. The service is quite fast even though it was packed, so you have to be sure to arrive before 8:00 to catch a place or call to make a reservation. For whisky lovers, I guess, it's a must :) Price was for two

This quaint bar is easily one of my favourites in Bonn. Brilliant selection of Irish whiskey and beer. The man who runs the place is AMAZING. He is such a pleasure to interact with.

Nettes, uriges Pub mit einer beeindruckenden Auswahl an Whiskey. Im Gegensatz zu früher scheint das Personal nicht mehr rein irisch zu sein, aber der Service war gut und freundlich. Jeden Dienstag gibt es das Pub-Quiz, manchmal tolle Live-Musik. Das Essen war lecker. Wir haben einige Irish Pubs in Bonn, doch das Flynn's finde ich am besten.

Highly recommend Flynn's. Ticks all the boxes, and the cherries on top are: great people that own/manage and work there; and they screen the rugby (would give you 6 stars just for this, if it was possible)

Wir saßen an einem schönen Herbstabend draußen, tranken gute Drinks (mit und ohne Alkohol), einige von uns aßen leckere Snacks (Burger und hervorzuheben die Pommes) und hatten eine gute Zeit bei nettem Service. Gern wieder!

Der authentischste aller Irish Pubs in Bonn, so Irisch wie ein Shamrock auf einem Guinness Stout. Besitzer und Großteil der Bedienung sind Iren. Neben einer großen Bierauswahl gibt es eine exzellente Whisky-Karte. Gelegentliche Live-Musik, und dienstags ist Quizabend.

I tried another so-called Irish bar in Bonn and despite serving a decent Murphy's stout it wasn't a patch on Flynn's Inn. It's not always easy drinking solo but everyone of the staff, including the owner, took time to have a chat with me, even though the bar was very busy on a Tuesday night (quiz night). Irish/German and American hospitality at its best! A great pint of Guinness, tasty grub, an eye-watering selection of whiskeys and a great buzz. Highly recommended!

Drinking solo can be difficult but I was made very welcome by all the staff and owner so stayed 5 hours. Good food, great beer and an amazing collection of whiskey. Busy for a Tuesday due to a quiz night. A real gem!

Flynn's is a good old pub for drinking, laughing and chatting. It's small but has outdoor tables that give you a nice feeling of being part of the bustling and colourful Südstadt. Service is quick and friendly and the grub is pretty good. I've been here a number of times over the years so, thanks and well done to the Flynn's team.
