The burgers were super tasty and the service was super nice, I can't understand the negative reviews at all. I will definitely go again – I can only recommend it!

Do you want to eat a super good burger with perfect service? Then you've come to the right place. I've been coming to Jake's Diner for a long time and now I feel like part of the team, like a little family. I love the “Heidi” burger with sweet potatoes. Since I suffer from intolerance, special attention is always paid to the preparation. A big THANK YOU to the kitchen for that! Keep it up!

A real highlight! This American burger restaurant not only offers delicious, freshly made burgers, but also a great experience thanks to the super friendly and accommodating staff. Every guest is greeted with a smile and service is quick and attentive. The interior exudes the typical USA flair - from the retro diner style to the nostalgic details, you immediately feel like you have been transported to the USA. The atmosphere is simply cozy and inviting. Everything is just right here – delicious food, great service and a great ambience. Absolutely recommended.

One employee preferred to take a smoking break every 5 minutes instead of serving us, which significantly worsened the dining experience. I also personally find the would-be American ambience very extreme and overplayed. The food resembled frozen McDonald's food more than that of a respectable restaurant where you could go with the family in the evening. Unfortunately for me it only became 1/5 stars.

So where should I start here... First of all, our visit was a while ago. The first impression was very positive! Unfortunately, we were taught better in the next 70 minutes! I was there with my wife, we had a reservation on Friday evening and we still had to wait 20 minutes for a free table. When we were asked to come to our table by a semi-friendly waitress, it took another 10 minutes until we received a card or something similar. I understand it's Friday, a lot going on and all, but I still feel a little hopeless about waiting so long to make a reservation. Especially because we came from further afield and the diner was even recommended to us. But well, after 30 minutes of waiting we were allowed to order. We both had a weekly burger, I think it was called "casanova" or something like that. The burger was really okay so you can't complain. However, my burger was only taken back because the chef said the Gorgonzola on it had expired! And that is disastrous in my opinion! In addition, we had a really disrespectful waitress (short hair, thin, about 45 years old) who arrived at our table with such a smell of smoke that I lost all my appetite. I understand if the chef makes a mistake, but for the waitress to make a fool of me in front of all the other guests - excuse the choice of words - is unheard of! Plus there was only 0.2 cola? What kind of rip-off is this, what normal person only drinks 0.2 liters of cola but oh well. I then got a new burger BUT I HAD TO PAY EVERYTHING 3x? So in my opinion you should stay away from this diner if you want authentic American food. The store is really nicely decorated but the staff, especially the waitresses, are terrible! The experience isn't even ruined by the free slush ice shot at the end... The food is delicious if it is not expired, but the components around it such as waitresses etc. do not make this diner better than a 2 star rating in my opinion!

Absolutely top! Super friendly and great burgers! I meet up here at irregular intervals with an old school friend. The seating is quite comfortable, the restaurant is quite small, but the service is great and the burgers are great! I also think the beer selection is very good. For example, you can't get a Chiemseer everywhere and I wouldn't have expected it here at all. Thank you very much and keep it up!! We'll be back.

A great place to dine. Good atmosphere and very friendly staff. We were served by a waiter who speaks Spanish, which has made communication much easier for us. And most importantly.....there is GLUTEN FREE food!!!!. THANK YOU

After coming two days, the first they told us that the kitchen was closed when there was more than an hour left to close and also in a very bad way from outside while the waitress or person in charge was outside smoking a cigarette. When I didn't even know if we were going to have dinner or drinks. We go again due to proximity and taking into account the time restrictions, with more than 3 hours until their closing time, and they tell us that they do not have room when the restaurant was half empty. Very unpleasant, of course I would not recommend anyone to come, especially considering that it is not a cheap place, and on top of that, it is remote. I honestly think it was because a person with reduced mobility was there, very very unpleasant. After receiving your response, we informed them that there was more than an hour until the kitchen closed, and we knew its schedule perfectly, which is why we went. On the second visit at no time did they tell us that the reason was children, so now it is an excuse to justify the assessment. The good news is that thanks to their unkindness we found a nearby Italian restaurant where they were super nice and friendly. After something bad, something good always comes.

Jake's Diner Bar is located on the ground floor of the somewhat anonymous building east of the Möhringer train station. I've been wanting to try out the tasty-sounding range that's also advertised online for a long time, but I only got around to it just in time for the start of out-of-home sales during the second Corona wave in autumn 2020. Therefore, only as much about the furnishings and service as can be judged with a quick glance as well as when taking the order and handing over the goods (pleasantly quickly): it looks appropriately comfortably furnished for a diner, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. And so to the main point of the test - how did it taste? Very good! My companion and I were very impressed by the burger and fries, delicious sauces, good ingredients, and last but not least, wonderful brioche buns. Always a highlight for me: Curly Fries - in this case just right (crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, not over-seasoned). There were also detailed criticisms, but they didn't significantly affect the enjoyment: whether you could add smoked bacon to a "Smokey" burger, I would consider it a suggestion for improvement. The salad was a bit mushy - possibly due to transport. The burger patty was rather coarsely ground for my taste, slightly crumbly, not really medium (ready to fry?) - but it wasn't expressly requested either. Overall very tasty, not least given the price level (currently -10% outside the home) with room for improvement as described. Addendum: a new one today, again very friendly and fast service. And Mr. Pepper - my goodness, is he delicious! Today is not every day - I'll be back, no question!

Service here was fast, and the wait staff is friendly. I got a Texas BBQ burger with curly fries and a Colawiesen. The food was hot and came out fast! The curly fries were cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The burger was outstanding and tastes just as good as any premium burger I've had in the US! I will definitely be returning here!

They appear to believe that sauce should go on thick and everywhere. This is not limited to them, I've experienced it with other sandwiches in the area. I have no clue where they got that idea from, let alone being American themed.

We have been going to Jakes Diner occasionally for years and have always been generally satisfied. The portions are sufficiently large and filling and the quality and composition of the burgers is actually very good. The waitress, who sometimes “looks after” the entire store on her own, is still attentive and quick. Over the years, the burger composition (no menu, no coleslaw,...) and the prices (like everywhere) have been constantly adjusted. The pure burger in (standard size) with fries costs on average >20€. The prices have risen everywhere, but not in this proportion, after all, they are “just” burgers with a convenience side dish. We'll still go to Jake's Diner, but less often.

The food is very tasty, the portions are large and the staff was very friendly and quick. Ambiance is a bit acoustically limited due to the very close tram, but otherwise okay. The card is extremely flexible and the staff will help you achieve the desired combination. Nevertheless, the menu is overwhelming and it is difficult to get an overview of the differences between the individual dishes. We spent over 20 minutes choosing the burgers. Not a bargain in terms of price, but the performance and quantity match the price.

There were 4 of us. Tables had to be pushed together ourselves. There are 2 stars for the finger food plate. Unfortunately all the burgers were fried to death and therefore far dry. The rolls were also dry. Unfortunately not recommended.

Incomprehensible! I've enjoyed eating at Jake's Diner or picking up burgers there for years. The last time, however, I was hit hard. The menu prices (burgers, fries, coleslaw) have now simply been converted into pure burger prices. The choice of words in another review is spot on: the prices have exploded. I'm still in complete shock.

Yesterday at Jakes again. Burger was ok as always. But: compared to the last visit, prices have literally exploded. Fries now cost extra (a lot) when you order a burger. Burger (with fries) suddenly well over €20. And they cut out the salad too. 😩 For me he has now gone overboard. The price/performance ratio has therefore fallen significantly. We won't be coming back.

Good burger restaurant at Möhringer Bahnhof, large selection of different burgers and side dishes. All patties are also available in a vegan version, and several bottles of different beers are on offer.

This place has the best chicken wings in Stuttgart, no question. The staff is very friendly, and the burgers are decent too. I come here most Friday nights, and it's just a fun place to hang out and have some drinks and bar food. It's definitely worth the trip if you like burgers, wings, and good drinks.

We were in Stuttgart for a short vacation and came across this restaurant by chance. The 2 burgers, chicken wings and chicken nuggets were super delicious! Everything is homemade and made with a lot of love, the homemade lemonades are also highly recommended! The waitress and bosses were very friendly and quick service. Jakes Diner offers a lot of burgers, you'll be spoiled for choice here! The Jakes Diner is an American diner and specializes in burgers. There are so many burgers on the menu here that it's easy to feel overwhelmed. However, there should be something for everyone. Special requests such as without a bun are also possible. The side dishes are classic. Regular fries, sweet potato fries, the classics here. The burgers taste great and the portions are really big. There's no shame in not eating everything, but you fight your way through it, especially when it comes to good dishes. At the end there is often a shot on the house, it is usually a red slushie in a shot glass and tastes really delicious. The only thing that matters for burgers with fries is the price. It will be difficult for less than €20. The price-performance ratio is not perfectly balanced. Overall, a definite recommendation!

The finger food platter consisted exclusively of frozen products, which is no longer up to date. The hot dog had a very firm beef sausage. The best thing was the drinks. Not worth a 2nd visit.

Drinks like homemade lemonade and Pina Colada are really good. We also really enjoyed the food. Service staff very friendly (maybe we were lucky if you read other reviews like that). Only the waiting time for the food was a bit long. But it was also pretty crowded.

I will no longer accept a lack of staff as a blanket excuse. Long wait until someone finally comes to the table and the food is "ok", not that I have to go there again tomorrow. The audience loudly, partly latently, ass i - the old man with his old woman at the next table belches blatantly. Rating: maximally disgusting! As an old American, I'm not at all used to something like this from an American diner. Positive: SSB right in front of the store, parking by car: difficult, only on the opposite street

Wonderful diner with 50s/60s flair and adjoining bar area. Been a customer for years and have never left dissatisfied after a great get-together for food and/or drinks. On the one hand it's the atmosphere and on the other hand I would like to emphasize the great team. Large selection of delicious burgers, side dishes and a large drinks menu. On weekends it is recommended to reserve tables, but that is not a drawback, they insist on quality :)

Food and ambience really great. Alone or in pairs you are placed on the bar stool. Some time ago my colleague and I sat down at a table for four (locally almost empty) and the young man asked in a mocking tone who seated us there. That spoiled our evening a bit. Unfortunately the staff changes very often. The new concept of putting together the burgers, however, is very well thought out It's a shame that the bosses don't serve you, they are very friendly and hospitable

Essensqualität ist angemessen, es macht den Eindruck, als wenn schon einiges selbstgemacht ist; Burger, Hot Dogs und Fingerfood ordentlich, Preise eher hoch, ein Pulled Beef Hotdog für über 10€? Aber Menge ist ausreichend; Einrichtung und Sitzgelegenheiten eher ungemütlich, ich mag eigentlich Diners, aber viel Barhocker und hohe, sehr kleine Tische; mal schnell ein Hot Dog essen ja, aber lädt nicht zum Verweilen ein

Nie jadłem tam burgera.. ,wiele razy mialem ochotę ,ale tak się złozyło ze nie zjadlem ,a słyszałem od znajomych ,że dobre.. Dlatego nie mogę ocenić jedzenia. Za to mogę ocenić obsługę.. Klasse Burger mit freundlichem Service

Eigentlich hätte ich nur 3,5 Sterne vergeben... geht hier leider nicht, aufgerundet wegen den guten letzten Jahren in dem Laden. Seit Jahren mein Stammladen, wenn ich einen guten Burger essen will. Essen ist weiterhin Top! Service ist meistens gut, das letzte mal etwas unaufmerksam... kann passieren. Aber mich hat die neue Preisgestaltung etwas erschrocken. Bin gerne bereit für gutes Essen auch etwas mehr zu zahlen... aber der Preis wurde bei meinem lieblings Burger mit Beilagen von 17€ auf 24,20€ erhöht... das sind geschmeidige 42% Preiserhöhung... das find ich persönlich zu heftig... Da stimmt dann für mich nicht mehr das Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis.

Wir können es weiterempfehlen! Sowohl die Burger, als auch die Pommes und der Coleslaw waren sehr lecker. Man fühlt sich wie in einem richtigen amerikanischen Diner & auch der Service war sehr gut, alle waren freundlich.

Waren hier essen und das Essen ist in Ordnung. Der Snack Classic plus Burger ist durchschnittlich aber die Pommes waren gut. Der Pulled chicken dog war uns etwas zu “heftig” die Mayo Sauce war sehr fettig und zusammen mit dem chicken war es sehr anstrengend den zu essen da etwas weniger chicken auch gut gewesen wär. Die Holunder Minze Lemonade war lecker.
