We had our company party at Jaegers on Thursday and I can only say it was absolutely extraordinary. The collaboration was very professional and smooth. The surroundings are really fantastic and the staff, especially the owner herself, were super friendly and helpful. Only the best drinks (e.g. Tegernseer, Paulaner Spezi... ;)) and food very individual and great. I can highly recommend the location to everyone and am already looking forward to my next visit :)

2021: Good burger and schnitzel. It's a shame that steak is only served from 6 p.m. (no note on the menu, you only find out when you order). Nice playground. Recommended 2022: 1 year later we finally tried the steak (more precisely the sirloin steak and beef fillet). Perfectly prepared, very tasty. We can only recommend it. 2024: Also this year - the sirloin steak was perfect again, a great meal. The restaurant was full and the service was still friendly and attentive. Only the order of the dishes could be more perfect (first 1 dish, 1 minute later the 2nd + 3rd and 2 minutes later the 4th dish and the last side dish from the 3rd dish).

Beautiful location, extremely friendly staff, fast service and the Kaiserschmarrn is by far the best we have ever eaten. The Kaiserschmarrnalm can help. Should we be in the area again, there will definitely be Kaiserschmarrn again. There is also a great playground for the children and goats walking around. We thought it was great and would definitely recommend it!

Our food arrived at different times and the steak had to be fried twice. Some of the supplements would have to be reminded again because they were forgotten. The overall quality left something to be desired. Absolutely unprofessional service, officially gossips about the guests with the kitchen staff. There is no hope that the restaurant will accommodate you due to the poor quality. We won't be coming back.

First of all: the food was excellent, even the smaller menu in the afternoon. It's nice and quiet to sit in the garden. Service leaves a lot to be desired: very unfriendly and the waiting time for food even though there was nothing going on was longer than 25 minutes! Payment only by EC or cash. It's not written anywhere. All in all, unfortunately we won't be coming back.

A fantastic place right at the foot of the local mountain Brauneck, which invites you to linger and enjoy culinary delights in a fireworks display for the senses. The GAUDIBOX is extremely happy to be here and is already looking forward to the next time!!!

We were there twice this week.. perfect food every time.. service did a great job.. we were completely satisfied.. for us the best restaurant in Lengriess..

This is a very nice place to visit, delicious drinks and cakes, but the menu is nothing to sneeze at either. Very tasty food, highly recommended. We'd love to come back. Top.

The service was very friendly and the atmosphere is very nice. Unfortunately, I find the price for 0.33 liters of Cola Cola extremely outrageous at €4.50. Extrapolated to 0.5 liters, a whopping €6.75 for half a liter is quite steep. 0.4 L for 4.50 € is just about acceptable, but for not even tapped cola, but for a 0.33 L gas bottle with a glass added, is not acceptable in my personal opinion. And they also get a deposit for the empty bottle. The average price for half a liter of cola in the area is just under €5 and not just under €7.

Nice restaurant, friendly service, unfortunately it was cool that day and it was drafty. My schnitzel was dry, but the fries were very good. I'll have to try again at another time

We've been there for 4 weekends now and everything has always been great! The warmth and familiarity simply make you feel really comfortable. Without exception, everyone was always friendly and attentive, in a good mood and very hospitable. They even helped me out with a winter jacket when I forgot mine. We'll definitely be back!

Tolle Steaks, auf den Punkt genau, unglaublich nettes Personal. Riesige Portionen, die kaum zu schaffen sind. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre.

Were invited to a family celebration. What should be emphasized is the friendly and courteous nature of the staff. The food is lovingly and modernly prepared, but unfortunately the degree of doneness of the beef steak served was not good, the soup was a bit too salty and the dessert was too sour - this may of course be a matter of taste. All in all, still recommended!

Fast service, fast food and a good location right on the slopes but that was the good thing, because the pork schnitzel was cheap, but very mixed and therefore not really enjoyable. The sparrows were okay. I think I would have made a better choice with the currywurst.

Very nicely located restaurant at the foot of the Brauneck near Lenggries. It can be used as a starting point for a hike or as a stop after a hike. You can sit here very comfortably with a home-style meal or coffee and cake with the wonderful view of the Brauneck. Younger guests can use a small playground or, with their parents, use the Bullcard track next to it, which is a lot of fun for young and old alike. Here you are pulled up the mountain with a rope and finish at the top. Now the journey down can begin. For the older ones, there is also a climbing park right next to it. Right next door there is the Alte Mulistation, which is also a cozy restaurant. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the toilets are also very clean. There are enough parking spaces available. On the way there or back you will pass a large EDEKA market, where you can stock up for the upcoming tour. I hope you enjoy your visit.

Good, tasty Kaiserschmarren. Perfect end to a day of skiing, located directly on the slopes

Service was great as usual! We had 4 good meals today and, as we are used to here, they were delicious. But this time we ordered the delicious pulled burgers again, thickly topped in the summer, full of tender meat and a really tasty sauce, today unfortunately not crosses but what felt like older, burnt bread with a bit of not very tender meat and a touch of sauce. Everything is a bit small and not that great, especially for this price, 6.50 for a bowl of fries on top of that is out of proportion.

Great quaint restaurant with excellent food and cheerful staff (no matter how much stress the staff is always friendly and takes their time)

Das Essen ist immer sehr gut und die bedienungen sehr freundlich. Doch letzte Woche wurde uns eine halbe stunde keine karte gebracht und wir wurden von zwei servicekräften abgewiesen.

The food was very good! I had a burger and it was very tasty and a good size. It’s also cool to sit outside and watch the cycles downhill while having a cold beer. Recommended if you’re in town for some sport activity.

wir waren hier drei Mal während unseres Urlaubs - nur gestern (Donnerstag 3.8) war die Bedienung freundlich, sonst wird man hier behandelt wie in der berühmten Pretty Woman Szene. Definitiv wollen sie hier keine Kundschaft. sie haben sehr leckeres Essen und einen tollen Aussenbereich für Kinder, das Problem ist der Service. mir tut es leid für die Wirte, die wahrscheinlich einfach kein nettes Personal finden. heute mittag bei 17 Grad darf man nicht draußen sitzen weil es „zu kalt“ sei? Wie soll das mit Kind gehen, wenn das Kind raus zu den Tieren will? Da wir nicht draußen sitzen konnten mussten wir wieder gehen. Waren noch andere Urlauber mit Kindern die wieder gegangen sind. Dazu so unfreundlich und von oben herab nur weil man nicht von hier ist. So schade.

Wunderschöner Spielplatz mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Es sollte eine kurze Einkehr vor der Heimreise werden. Leider wurde uns nur ein Sitzplatz drinnen angeboten, was eine Beaufsichtigung nicht möglich machte. Eine kurze spontane Lösung, für draußen, war leider nicht möglich. Reservierte Tische wurden schon 40 Minuten vorher frei gehalten.

Very delicious food and a good variety of Bavarian specialties. I had Kaiserschmarrn which was one of the best I ever had. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the waitress was so friendly and professional that I needed to check, if I was still in Germany. Thanks a lot for this experience!

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut, aber kleiner Auswahl. Die Kuchen / Torten sind was besonders. Bedienung ist mal so mal so, aber wir können damit leben. Mittlerweile ist einfach schwer gutes Personal zu finden. Mit Kindern ist dort ideal, da ein Spielplatz + ein Art "Streichelzoo" da ist. Die Hühner laufen frei rum und das kann schon mancher Kinderaugen länger beschäftigen ;) Wir sind zum 2. Mal in Urlaub in Lenggries und gehen immer wieder dort zurück, weil es einfach mit Kids sehr entspannt ist.

Beim ersten mal war es lecker. Beim zweiten Besuch leider gar nicht. Die Pommes waren nicht durch und das Steak war lauwarm (Stein war auch nicht heiß) und zäh (Medium bestellt) Sehr schade! Da hatte der Koch wohl ein sehr schlechten Tag! Und Jaqueline hat gefehlt, die Dame war beim ersten Besuch unsere Kellnerin und sehr nett 😊 Für den Ersten Besuch würde ich 4,5 Stern geben, für den zweiten 1 Stern (wenn überhaupt) Danke für die Antwort, wir haben der Kellnerin gestern bescheid gesagt, sie hat gesagt das sie es weiter gibt.

Das Teeglas war leider nur 3/4 voll, heisst es sah so aus, als ob schon jemand einen Schluck genommen hätte :) Für 4 Euro kann ich doch erwarten, dass es ganz voll ist. Beim Kakao war es leider genauso. Kakao mit Sahne hat 5 Euro gekostet. Leider war die Tasse, als ich die Sahne rausgenommen habe, nur halb voll. Als ich schliesslich etwas sagte, wurde ich abgewimmelt und erhielt nur die Antwort, dass man da nichts machen könne, es käme so aus der Maschine. Mehr nicht. Vielleicht könnte man dann einfach den Preis ändern? Oder eine größere Tasse nehmen? Oder die Maschine anders einstellen? Da stimmt für mich das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht. Dass ich einfach so stehen gelassen wurde mit meinem Anliegen fand ich auch schade.

Lovely place. Really good local food and some fast food. Prices are absolutely fair and the service is really good and fast. More like a restaurant than a usual ski fast food thing. We had lunch here everyday and every dish as good.

Warte hier immer bis mein Sohn mit dem Skifahren fertig ist. Super netter und witziger Service. Der Apfelstrudel ein Traum. Und auch der Rest sehr lecker. Alles sehr charmant angerichtet. G'frei mi scho auf d'nächste Woch.

Sehr angenehmer Abend, zuvorkommender Service, leckeres Essen und eine Knuddelrunde mit den Geschäftsführer Vitus, sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wir wollten heute um 12.30 Uhr dort zu Mittag essen, aber bereits um diese Zeit waren diverse Gerichte nicht mehr verfügbar, und kleine Änderungen von vorne herein ausgeschlossen.

Das Restaurant liegt am Fuße der Bergbahn zum Brauneck. Von außen wirkte das Restaurant, als ob es der gehobenen Preiskategorie angehören könnte, was sich später aber als Unrichtig darstellte. Die Einrichtung ist landestypisch mit viel Holz versehen und der Service war freundlich und nett. An den speisen gab es nichts auzusetzen und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis empfanden wir als in Ordnung. So kostete das Chateaubriand für zwei Personen mit 60€ als angemessen. Bei unserem einwöchigen Aufenthalt in Lengries waren wir dann auch ein zweites Mal dort zum Essen.

While our friends' children were doing a ski lesson, us four adults got a table on the first floor with a view on the slope which was quite good. We had several drinks, including a really good Kellerbier and a Heisse Oma (containing egg liquor) and the food we had was also delicious; I'd recommend the Zwiebelrostbraten. Our waitress was friendly and the food was served promptly. We thought the person at reception wasn't that friendly and perhaps a bit sarcastic. I paid with cash but they also accept some cards (don't know which ones though).

Das Jägers gehört meiner Meinung nach auf Platz 1. Vom guten Essen über das freundliche Personal bis hin zum möglich machen, selbst für eine alleinreisende Person, einen Tisch zu bekommen. So etwas ist Professionalität.

Wir waren nach einer längeren Wanderung am Brauneck im Jägers. Das ganze Ambiente ist sehr einladend, gemütlich und durch die große Spielwiese hinter der Terrasse sehr familienfreundlich. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft zubereitet, die Ausgangsprodukte haben eine sehr gute Qualität. Leider kommt jetzt das große „ABER“, das bei uns in Summe zur Enttäuschung geführt hat: wir hatten einen Schweinebraten (sehr gute Kruste!) und eine Portion Pommes bestellt. Das dürfte auch bei viel Betrieb kein Problem für Küche & Service sein. Leider gab es diese Probleme doch. Der Braten kam ohne Besteck, das kam nach etwa 5 Minuten. Die Pommes für meine Partnerin kamen nochmal etwa 5 Minuten später auf Nachfrage. Im Nachgang ist mir aufgefallen, dass der Krautsalat zum Braten nicht gebracht wurde. Das erste Fazit war „blöd gelaufen, kann Pech gewesen sein, schreib sie mal an“. Das tat ich per PN über Facebook. Leider hat mich die Reaktion wenig überzeugt. Mir wurde erklärt, dass das Servicepersonal neu sei und sich nach einem halben Jahr Pause (Corona-Lockdown) erst wieder alles einspielen muss. Wie gesagt: Essen unvollständig geliefert, zwar warm serviert aber ohne Besteck und als das dann da war eben halb kalt und das Essen für die zweite Person erst auf Nachfrage. Kurz gesagt: mangelhaft geliefert, wir haben trotzdem den vollen Preis bezahlt. Auch wenn es mir schwerfällt: ich habe das Gefühl, dass der Chefin, die meine PN beantwortet hat, irgendwie egal war. Sie hat geschrieben, sie würde sich freuen, wenn wir wiederkommen würden. So klappt das leider nicht.

Liebes Jaegers Team, wir haben innerhalb unseres Urlaubs zwei Abende bei euch verbracht und waren jedes Mal rundum zufrieden, sehr satt und glücklich. Für unsere beiden Minis gab's leckere Spätzle und Klöße mit Sauce und die waren soooooo lecker, dass auch der letzte Rest Sauce noch mit dem Löffel vom Teller gekratzt werden musste. Wir großen hatten Ochsenlende, Spare Ribs, Hirschbuletten und Burger und alles war auf den Punkt gegart, toll abgeschmeckt und absolut stimmig. Eure selbst gemachte Tomatensauce auf dem Burger ist der Wahnsinn und die Barbecuesauce und Kräuterbutter wurden bis auf den letzten Rest mit Pommes aus den Schälchen gekratzt. Die Kinder waren kaum zu bremsen. Und für Eltern mit kleinen Kindern gibt's den Kuchen zum Nachtisch auch to go. Das Team war sehr nett und flink und das Ambiente ist urig-modern und hat uns gut gefallen. Reservieren ist sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank für das tolle Erlebnis, wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Essen war hervorragend. Etwas befremdlich fand ich, dass manche Bedienungen Die Maske komplett runtergezogen hatten und der Nase-Mundbereich nicht abgedeckt war.

Super Service und echt leckeres Essen. Die Küche ist zum Gastbereich hin offen und der Grill sorgt für eine angenehme Wärme :) Die Bedienungen sind alle auf Zack und kümmern sich um die Gäste - einfach ein tolles Erlebnis.

We had lunch at Jaegers after a long hike. Nice setting outdoor. My wife had the burger which was really good even if it wasn’t well done as we had requested. I had their traditional spatzli with their local cheese which was great (even if heavy... of course ;) ). Their apple strudel said “hand made” vs. “house made” and it was ok even if not the best. We would go back.

The energetic young owners have done an outstanding job decorating this new restaurant, situated between the Brauneck Bahn and the ski school. Lovely views, great ambience, good, well-priced food and excellent service make for a must-do for any visitor to Lenggreis. At lunch, smaller portions of main courses are offered. Thursday nights feature live music and an extensive salad bar, coupled with steaks from the grill in the open kitchen. One of the servers, Regina, lived for a time in Australia, so if English is your only fluency, ask for her and you'll be set. Highly recommended!
