We had very good meals several times. The service was very friendly. We also rented mountain bikes. From the briefing to the return, everything went smoothly.

There were six of us and we got top-notch bikes (fully mounted). They were adjusted at short notice, explained to us, and we were ready to go. The area itself is great for biking, and there are plenty of options for every skill level. We took the train from Munich and walked the 5 minutes to the rental shop. So, it's perfect for day trips. Since we ended up getting caught in a torrential downpour and wanted to eat there (which was really excellent), the owner even let us take a shower. We'll definitely be back! :)

I was able to make a spontaneous reservation. And while I waited, I was treated to a coffee. Great!

The goat cheese was truly outstanding—creamy and of good quality. Unfortunately, the summer salad couldn't keep up: disappointing in taste and rather carelessly put together. It's a shame, because the potential with the excellent cheese was there.

I rented an e-mountain bike more than spontaneously. The owner is very competent and quickly meets his customers' needs. The bikes are all high-quality and well-maintained. The prices are reasonable, and those with a Guest Card PLUS get a discount. I spent the entire day out and was very satisfied. I also stayed at the Alwirt, where the rental station is located. We ate at the Altwirt today, and it was horrible! We had five different dishes, and they were all inedible... The children's menu (dumplings with sauce) resulted in vomiting. We also had disgusting spaetzle, pumpkin with Camembert, and salad with strips of chicken breast. Everyone had stomach aches, nausea, and diarrhea afterward! The char seemed to be the best at first, but it was filled with whole garlic cloves, and that, too, caused nausea and stomach upsets! The waitresses completely ignored our kindly criticism and played it down. Not recommended!

An absolute top recommendation if you want to rent e-bikes in Lenggries. The reservation/request via the online contact form was quick and easy to complete. A short time later, I received confirmation of the reservation by email; a very pleasant experience. The personal contact when picking up the bikes was also very friendly, the process was straightforward, and the explanations and instructions on the rental bikes were excellent. The e-bikes themselves are very high quality and incredibly comfortable to ride. Helmets can also be rented for a small fee; they are of good quality and very comfortable to wear. A bike lock was included free of charge for the rental period. All in all, a fantastic experience; I would rent e-bikes there again anytime. Kudos to the Altwirt's bike team.

The food is very, very delicious and the service is very friendly. We ate here almost every evening during our vacation because we felt very comfortable. Dogs are also welcome.

I had an excellent experience with the ebike rental. The advice I received was first class and I received an eMTB that was a truly top of the line model. The rented helmet was extremely comfortable to wear, and the landlady took the time to explain the bike's functions to me in detail. I also received a lightweight bike lock for free, which was very practical. The information about the level of difficulty of my planned MTB route was also extremely helpful. Overall, the service was excellent and I can only warmly recommend this ebike rental company. Thank you for a great experience!

It's a shame, it's called a beer garden, but eating your own snack with your beer isn't allowed. Contrary to Bavarian tradition, this is becoming more and more common in beer gardens.
