Istanbul Pizza Kebab Haus in Konstanz

Beware of scams! They occasionally add an extra €1-2 to the bill at checkout, on top of the packaging tax. I was going to call them about it, but since several reviews have reported similar issues, it seems to be a systematic scam. That's why I'm writing this review as a warning to everyone. This is how you lose long-time customers.

A super friendly team, fantastic food in a good size. The value for money is much higher than the price, meaning it's perfect for those on a budget and with a big appetite!! 🩷😊

It used to be great, but two things bother me: 1) The prices I'm charged for my pizza are completely opaque. I've been charged different prices every day (even though I always ordered it to go in a box). 2) On my last visit, I ordered a seafood dish. Afterwards, I had severe stomach cramps. I don't know if it was the dish, of course, but I hadn't eaten anything else beforehand that would have been particularly risky. I hope the seafood is kept properly refrigerated here. On the positive side, the staff are always very friendly.

The dürüm was good and the kebab was delicious!

I went to this fast-food restaurant because of the many positive reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Everyone was super friendly, and I haven't had such good yufka in a long time. Absolutely recommend it. The price/performance ratio is outstanding. All dishes are also available for takeaway.

Very good, tasty, large portions. Reasonably priced. I recommend it. I went back a year later, and everything was still great. I recently visited, and everything was great again. I think it's one of the best places of its kind. I really enjoyed it. The owner is very nice and attentive. Best regards, I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Be careful, the pain during bowel movements was really severe. The kebab wasn't very tasty. The meat and sauces were bland and lacked any discernible flavor. Unfortunately, after eating it, I experienced severe gastrointestinal discomfort that lasted for several hours. Based on this experience, I would definitely avoid the restaurant.

The kebab is okay, but I can only give it 4 stars for the contents. 7€ (which is already cheap these days 😅) + this outrageous packaging tax, which the shop can't do anything about. But there's really very little content in the kebab.

7,5 EUR for kebab box + 0.5 EUR unknown fee per person. The food tastes good, but it was not amazing and the meat was very little compated to any other kebab place I have visited.

The kebab was below average, neither particularly spicy nor juicy. The sauce didn't have any garlic in it. The bread wasn't homemade and was dry. Even the small size wasn't convincing. I'll never be back and can't recommend eating here... the place looked just as horrible 15 years ago when I was last there.♥️

They act friendly, rip you off on the price, but then they rip you off. They charge 50 cents more, even though packaging taxes aren't charged.

Attempted fraud. I order a normal doner for €7. When I hold the card to the device, I see €8.09 and tell him that the kebab costs €7. Then he takes the aluminum foil and a piece of paper and says packaging tax. So I told him I didn't want the doner and walked away. This is my first time in Konstanz and I didn't know there was such a stupid tax. But there is, but the problem is that this tax is 50 cents, not €1.09. I have never experienced such impudence. Maybe he saw the Swiss debit card and thought I didn't care...

Fraud attempt, kebab (it's just a rotisserie) 7 euros + Ayran 2.50 = 9.50. He asked for 10 euros and justified it with the Konstanz packaging fee, but he had to indicate this, but he wasn't. We agreed that soft cheese would be added, the whole thing was an unnecessary aftertaste :-( I've been a customer for a long time and hadn't experienced this before, disappointing

Average, you can't go wrong :-) You can eat falafel there! Unfortunately the fries were very soft...

Now after x visits it's becoming outrageous. Go somewhere else. I don't need it like that.

I frequent Konstanz very often. And I could say that it is one of the best Kebab I have ever eaten. Very good quality and the staff is quite friendly. The only thing is that a toilet is missing.

I don't understand all the good reviews here! One of the worst pizzas and kebabs I've had in a long time. The meat has no flavor, like it's made of paper. There are far better kebab shops.

The Missus and I along with our Canadian Westcoast cycling group picked Istanbul Pizza Kebab Haus for a quick lunch. Prices were relatively affordable and with a friendly helpful owner. Due to the language miscommunication, part of what we had ordered was not what was prepared. However, the food was very tasty and we would try again if in the area.

Doner kebab is super delicious. Portions are very large and you don't skimp on the filling. Very nice service. Price performance top! Only to recommend.

So I can't understand the good reviews. Maybe people in Konstanz are used to such low quality. For me personally, it was bottom drawer both in terms of taste and portion size. There was maybe 50g of meat in the kebab and the bread was dry. Unfortunately, one of the worst I've ever eaten. At least no food poisoning.

Unfortunately, my visit to Istanbul Kebab was sobering. The kebab bread is freshly made and is ok. The usual standard stuff is used as meat. Unfortunately the vegetables were really weak. There's probably a reason why the vegetable bowls aren't full in the evening... Not recommended.

I will say that the food here is really good with kind price in Konstanz, clerks are friendly with customers so the atmosphäre is good

The kebab plate, a classic among the dishes of our friends from the Middle East. Here, at Istanbul Pizza Kebab, this traditional dish is done justice. The rice is freshly cooked, well seasoned and not too soft that kebab meat, good. The fairly standard side salad could do with a little extra For example, fresh lemon juice or pomegranate seeds, but when prepared with care it still becomes a feast. The service is extremely friendly and you are welcomed straight away and served with a smile. Gladly again and thank you.

Absolutely recommended for a "to-go meal". There are a few seats inside, but they don't look particularly inviting. I happened to pass by and picked up a Dürüm. I have to say, the taste is very good. And the price-performance ratio is also absolutely right. What particularly struck me was the friendly service. Gladly again!

The last time I was here was in 2002. The owners are no longer there, but they were still recognized. Back then it was the boss's own sauce that made me cry, but today I can just reminisce and enjoy it. It's been a long time since I ate a delicious Rollo/Yufka/Kebab. Very fresh ingredients, crispy meat, delicious bread. Also friendly and clean.

Lavaş ve lahmacunu kendileri yapıp, taş fırında pişiriyorlar. Gayet güler yüzlü bir işletmecisi var. Yolunuz düşerse kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

Ich habe heute hier ein Dürüm gegessen und es hat sehr, sehr gut geschmeckt. Wurde frisch gebacken und das hat man rausgeschmeckt. Es war wirklich sehr lecker und alle Zutaten waren frisch. Ich weiß jetzt Bescheid wo ich Döner essen werde. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Döner und Dönerbox super lecker

Der Fladen für den Döner-Wrap wurde vor unseren Augen frisch zubereitet. Salat schmeckte frisch und die Zutaten wurden nicht in Sauce ertränkt. Der Wrap wurde stabil gewickelt und ließ sich unfallfrei verzehren. Solche "Kleinigkeiten" machen beim Imbiß den entscheidenden Unterschied und diese Stube meines Erachtens zu einer echten Empfehlung.
