Very tasty and great atmosphere!

The value for money is outstanding! Delicious food and drinks, and the prices are very reasonable! The staff is friendly, and although the restaurant is often busy, resulting in a lively atmosphere and occasionally a slightly more intense air quality, this is entirely understandable given the value for money.

The food was incredible, and the prices were very reasonable. This restaurant is 100% worth a visit. Just a small comment... the French fries were a little old. However, the food was so good that the "pomes" didn't matter much.

We ate there on several recommendations. We had a 50-minute wait. The meat was raw and undercooked. As a diabetic, I also ordered a Coke Zero, but I got a regular Coke, which made me feel quite sick afterward. The only thing that was okay was the service. They were very friendly. Unfortunately, I still can't recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately, the food didn't taste good. I ordered Güveç with chicken. Half an hour after ordering, the food arrived on the table, and unfortunately, the meat was burnt. I ate what I could because I was hungry. After I finished my meal, I told the friendly waitress what was going on. The chef came over and apologized. The staff are nice, and that's why I gave it 3 stars. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the food. I'm sorry.

We've enjoyed coming to Defne for many years. It's usually busy, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. But the staff is always very friendly, despite the hustle and bustle. The food is always delicious, no matter what it is. Children are welcome, and there are special dishes. Vegetarians also have a wide selection.

Unfortunately, we have to rate our visit to this restaurant as very disappointing. Right from the start, we noticed that the service was inattentive and not customer-oriented. Although we were the second guests in the entire restaurant, we were the last to receive our food – after a wait of more than 40 minutes. Only after repeated inquiries were we informed that the SAC plate we ordered would supposedly take longer because it required a different pan. An explanation that seemed incomprehensible in the slightest. We were particularly negative about the apparent preferential treatment given to regulars. As tourists who are nevertheless from Berlin and would have liked to recommend the restaurant, it was disappointing to witness how differently guests are treated here. Even the locals from Konstanz who accompanied us couldn't understand this approach. The overall ambiance seemed unloving, and the mood was further dampened by the poor service. Unfortunately, the impression remains that you are not welcome as a guest in this establishment unless you are one of the regulars. A restaurant thrives on hospitality and quality service – both of which we unfortunately missed here.

A complete disaster!!! So let's start with the service. We arrived shortly before the store opened. When we asked if there was still room for us, we received a rude answer and were only able to be contacted if we stayed for less than an hour. Once we were inside and were the second people in the restaurant to order, about 7-8 other tables came after us who ordered after us and received their food before us. In the end, we had to wait 45 minutes, and ravioli was sold to us as manti. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it, as it didn't even have the oriental fler due to the interior, which resembled an old pub.

A very, very good restaurant, but vegan options are only available upon request. It would be fantastic if this were added to the menu!

Always, always good quality, rustic and cozy

The kitchen was closed but I was still offered a seat and instead of bread and water there was Pane al turk including Wurmlinger Bierle, Hassan and the team are great.

The food was delicious. The ambiance was much too loud for me personally, as the restaurant was very busy. People were queuing for a table, which speaks volumes for the restaurant. My husband wasn't too bothered by the noise, but he still made a few suggestions to the owner about how to reduce it a bit with simple means. It probably also has something to do with the fact that the restaurant has high ceilings, which amplified the noise. As I said, maybe I just have sensitive ears. The owner (at least I had the feeling he was the owner) is friendly and communicative. We'd be happy to come back, perhaps on a quieter day :)

I had saç tavuk, which was okay, but it wasn't saç tavuk. So, it was unusual, as it was a curry with cream. I was expecting the meat to be marinated in curry. The meze was also okay, with cacık, sarma, and kizartma. The price-performance ratio is okay, though.

The staff and ambiance were very good, but the food was a bit disappointing. At least the kavurma wasn't typically Turkish and was a bit too salty for my liking, with a strong Indian and Italian influence. Still, overall, a good place with a relaxed atmosphere.

A very nice restaurant with a great selection. We were there at lunchtime and had no trouble getting a seat. We were also automatically given a salad starter, which was delicious. Bread was also served, and it was delicious because it was fresh and very fluffy. We couldn't decide at first because of the large selection. All the dishes were reasonably priced, and we would be happy to eat there again.

Very good food. I would strongly recommend the grilled chicken served with rice. The chicken skin is a little bit brown, it tastes smoky and crispy, this is exactly what grilled meat should be. Inside the meat is totally flavored and tender, doesn’t taste like dry chicken breast, the texture more like the meat on the legs. Everything is perfect. Worth to try. The 70-inch grilled chicken is very delicious. The charred skin is rich in fat but not bitter, full of flavor, and the meat inside is elastic and rich in flavor. The side dishes are also grilled and taste very good. It is recommended to serve with rice, which is very delicious with the oil and saltiness of the grilled chicken. The main dishes are moderately priced and the drinks are cheap. Although the restaurant is busy and you can’t order and pay in time, the service staff are very friendly. It is recommended to bring cash because you can only pay by credit card if the amount is over 20 euros. The grilled chicken I ordered is very large, and it only costs 20 euros with a large drink. The main dishes and drinks of other friends are not more than 20 euros. Five-star recommendation😁

They only offer cash? Why? I only rate the kebab shop. The lady with the Turkish background was having a bad day... She puts salad in the kebab before the meat. She asks for feedback and becomes insulting afterward! She said I should eat in Afghanistan. The shop is certainly not bad, but the person's personality isn't up to date.

If you want to experience Konstanz locals, this is the place. A very popular Konstanz original. The food is hearty Turkish, with a lot of it unfamiliar. Everything from solid to excellent is there. Soul food for Konstanz in a no-frills, cozy atmosphere. It gets packed at peak times, especially in winter; reservations recommended.

We went to this establishment on 20.04.2025 at around 18:30 and we left in one go. We chose it as a Turkish restaurant, but we immediately encountered Turkish racism. I'm sure German customers are not responded to in the same manner. Very bad experience😔

Ich esse regelmäßig im Defne und könnte dort sogar täglich essen – nicht nur, weil die Gerichte meinen Geschmack perfekt treffen, sondern auch, weil die Portionen sättigend sind und die Preise fair. Zudem bleibt das Personal selbst bei vollem Haus stets freundlich.

We ordered food to pick up at lunchtime. We ordered our lunch here based on a recommendation. Despite ordering on time and agreeing on a pick-up time, we had to wait over 30 minutes for three meals. The restaurant wasn't full and we weren't the only ones who had to wait so long. I don't know if that's the standard or we were just unlucky. It was just very annoying because the parking options are manageable and the lunch break is limited. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was just okay. The spice was missing. Too bad.

It is a place where you can easily see the Turkish atmosphere in the concept and food. It has extremely attentive employees. The food is delicious, but especially the vegetable casserole in the photo was my favorite.

Delicious food but unfortunately a long wait (50 minutes).

The food was generally good, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. However, even my non-Turkish heart ached when we ordered manti and got Italian ravioli. What a shame! Unfortunately, this disappointment overshadowed the otherwise good taste of the food.

I always enjoy going there with the children and work colleagues. Very good food, very good service. We are always happy to be there again.

It took them more than an hour to bring me a kepap teller, which takes maybe 2 min to prepare. The place is very crowded, you can barely squeeze between the tables. Food was ok, but had much better as well. Update: for your answer, you must have mistaken me for someone else. I dont speak german. We had a reservation, but our table was taken, we got another (not in the middle). I had never been here before yesterday. And it was well over an hour waiting time. For cutting some meat feom the pile, take some fries from the oil and put a spoon of cucumbers on the side - thats a bit too long. Oh, and we had no discussion at all on site.

Best turkish restaurant I've tried so far in Konstanz. I came when my dad has visited me, and we decided to go back regularely to have a börek. Good quality-price!

After 100 minutes (!!!) of waiting, the drinks we ordered still had to be paid for. We then left without eating because our complaint was not answered with any understanding. We weren't even offered a second drink while we waited. The two starter salads came on a shared plate. When we suggested that we would like to have our own plates, the answer was “yes, your bad luck”. Unfortunately absolutely terrible service and zero customer service. 0/5 stars

The kebab there is the best I've eaten in a long time. At €7 for a real kebab, that's totally fine. I can only recommend the cocktail sauce. However, the kebab as a whole is really great! I will come here again.

Gute Pizza. Fairer Preis. Man kann anrufen, und ist nach 15 Minuten fertig. Ansonsten nette Bedienung. Der Pizza-Rand könnte noch besser sein, aber sonst Tip Top.

Wir haben nach einem langen Tag in der Sonne spontan etwas zu Essen gesucht und sind auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Gegen 18 Uhr an einem Dienstag in den Sommerferien war noch nicht viel los und wir konnten ohne Probleme zu zweit einen Tisch bekommen - ab 19 Uhr wurde es aber (verdienterweise) sehr voll. Unsere Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein, sodass wir uns rundum gut versorgt gefühlt haben. Dazu hat natürlich auch das leckere Essen beigetragen. Mein Partner hat sich einen Kebap-Teller bestellt und ich habe mich durch zwei Vorspeisen probiert. Die vegetarische Auswahl ist groß und abwechslungsreich. Das Essen war mehr als reichlich - wir sind pappsatt gegangen und auch geschmacklich war es ein voller Erfolg. Alles kam schnell und gleichzeitig und die Joghurt-Knoblauch-Soße für 60 Cent extra kann ich nur empfehlen.
