Istanbul Kebab in Hannover

Delicious, affordable, simply everything was great. I had absolutely nothing to complain about.

The OG Döner on Limmerstraße. Prices are always slightly below average, but the kebabs are still solid. Friendly staff, and card payments start at €10.

The best salad/falaffle plate you can imagine! I've rarely seen so many vegetarian and vegan options.

Disaster. Huge line. The waiter waves us out and sits us down at a table. We wait a whopping 30 minutes. The line has already been served. Then the waiter comes and tells us the spit is out. Never again.

The meat is delicious and the prices are great. Unfortunately, it's usually very crowded, and it's hard to find a seat. The staff is okay. The ambiance seems a bit boring and could use some updating.

They are very friendly and helpful, when I accidentally dropped an ayran they gave me a new one straight away and it was even free so I would give the best kebab shop in the area a 100/10.

I often have dinner at Istanbul when I am at my boyfriend's in Hannover, the quality of the food is good, but I can't speak positively about the service and the attention they have towards customers, we often take a mix of vegetables on a large plate with or without the addition of Kebab, the last time we asked for this large plate of vegetables we received a small round plate with a really modest amount of food, when we went to the cashier to pay and pointed out that they were two plates of a much smaller size than those we always take we were rudely told that we had to pay for large portions because those were the plates of the large portions, in short an unpretentious place where you can buy take-away food but not a restaurant of a sufficient level as regards the service

The lahmacun and doner kebabs were delicious – the lahmacun was especially good! The doner meat could have been a bit more tender, but it still tasted great. The staff was very friendly. The only minor downside: the chef seemed a bit discouraged when paying by card – perhaps he would have preferred cash. Regardless, we'd gladly go back!

Unfortunately I'm not a regular guest and was just passing through for a little "snack". Wasn't disappointed. Staff very friendly and kebab dumplings delicious. Gladly again.

I haven't been here for a long time and was pleasantly surprised by the new, fresh staff. It wasn't great before, but it is now. But it still tastes better somewhere else on the island... ;+) But it's cheap.

The kebab now costs €6.50, and everything else has been increased by 2-3 euros! I think it's outrageous, my husband and I enjoy shopping there! And the store is always busy! That's why we only see rip-offs here! Thank you, that's it.

This store also increased the prices unnecessarily! Here the greed for more money than was necessary won! Always load samples fully! Very uneconomical! So our sports club went there to get kebab with the whole team after the game! Now let's go to Mega Döner at the Black Bear! It costs 4 euros there and tastes very good too! Bye!

A safe place for delicious Turkish food

This kebab shop has an excellent price-performance ratio. For €5.50 (as of December 2024) you can get a very tasty kebab (even with very tender and well-fried veal). The shop also has very long opening hours, so you can still get your fill even late. Service was friendly. 5 stars and gladly again!

Absolute favorite kebab in Linden. Vegetarian or falafel bag for 4 euros with oven-baked vegetables, optionally CouCous etc. - and is ready quickly.

Meat was raw and had cartilage! The bread was like an underbaked roll. I threw the kebab away so sorry. Simply disgusting!

Very nice staff. Very good food. Best shop in Hanover. Been eating this since 2012, the quality has always remained the same. I can recommend the store to everyone!!!!

Best kebab on the Limmer and incredibly nice people, not only but especially in the service. Only self-control prevents you from eating here every evening.

I love coming here, the halloumi or falafel rolls are unbeatable. Unfortunately the interior is a bit dull, but you can sit outside very nicely right on Limmerstrasse. The staff is also great. Always my pleasure

A large donner plate for €9.50 is a fair price. However, the portion size is rather small. Chicken tasted okay.

Delicious vegetarian food! Service is functional. Delicious tea and friendly counter staff! Great value for money!

Unfortunately, prices have risen again. Only recommended for occasional use. Expect long wait times for takeaway food.

So yesterday we wanted to eat there for the first time, but everything was full, we got the place sometime after half an hour. The food came quickly, but with the wrong sauce and something was missing. The cellar quickly corrected everything. I think I'll order more to go next time.

Very tasty and great selection for vegetarians. We often go there with our children and everyone is always very friendly. There are various small salads on the falafel and halloumi plate, so there is something for everyone. The fries are great too.

I had dinner there last week with a larger group. We all ordered kebabs in different versions. All were served as ordered. The kebab meat was super tasty and really well seasoned. I was really happy that the kebab meat wasn't made from minced meat, but unfortunately I've had to experience it more often. The price for the kebab was also fantastic at €5.50!!! For a kebab. In other cities you pay at least twice as much for the quality. I would always recommend it. The other dishes on the menu were also very tempting.

A great little cute restaurant. A highlight in terms of taste, but unfortunately there are few seats. Food comes to the table very hot and the service is great. Can't recommend more. Above all, the grill plate is a highlight.

Der Döner war Recht hart aufgrund der Masse des Lammfleischs und dem nicht so weichen Brot. Hat uns insgesamt leider nicht so überzeugt. Gekostet hat der Döner 5,50€. Die türkischen Speisen dort sahen aber sehr lecker aus und sind einen erneuten Besuch wert!

Jedesmal wenn ich in Hannover bin, gehe ich dort essen. Am liebsten esse ich den Lammspieß und es ist kein Problem, eine andere Beilage dazu zu bestellen (bin nicht so der Pommes-Fan). Die Preise sind wirklich noch gut, dieses Gericht kostet überall sonst deutlich mehr.

Unbedingt statt Döner mal eine Köfte-Tasche probieren, einfach lecker!

Nur zu empfehlen!!!!! Familiäres Geschäft mit einer sehr gastfreundlichen Atmosphäre;-) Essen noch original und kein gepresstes Hack. Wenn ich vor Ort bin, immer mein erster Treffpunknt mit guten Freunden.

Schon beim betreten des Ladens läuft einem beim Anblick der Spieße das Wasser im Munde zusammen und ich kann versichern er schmeckt auch genauso köstlich wie er aussieht. Der Beste Döner aus ganz Hannover im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ab sofort bin ich hier Stammkunde:)

Die Gerichte die wir Assen schmeckten super, es war stark besucht, was mir nichts gefallen hat ist obwohl wir gesagt hatten dass wir die Suppe gerne in Ruhe essen wollen, und das wir bescheid sagen würden wann das Hauptgericht mitbringen sollten, aber der Kellner das unsere Bestellung aufgenommen hat alles gleich mit er müsste alles wieder mitnehmen außer die Suppen. Meine entfällung ist wenn man Suppe und Hauptgericht essen will, soll nur das erste bestellen und dann dass zweite, sonst ist es kalt.

Ein Döner zu einem echt angemessenen Preis (5,50€) und fantastischer Qualität. Richtig guter Kalbspieß der auch gut mit la Muro mithalten kann. Komme gerne wieder.

Am Montag das erste Mal dort gegessen. Leckerer Hähnchendöner für 5,50€ - Fleisch ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig, das Brot hätte ein bisschen krosser sein können aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Man konnte schön gemütlich draußen sitzen; entspannte Atmosphäre wenn einen die Straßenbahnen nicht viel ausmachen ;). Es war ziemlich viel los, dennoch sehr freundliche Bedienung die sich Zeit genommen hat und das Essen für mich und meine Freunde kam schnell. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Die Dönertasche gibt es für 5,50€, auch mit extrawünschen. Die Qualität ist gut, keine Knorpel, keine Bauchschmerzen. Freundliche Mitarbeiter, absolut empfehlenswert.

eigentlich ganz sympathisch, aber der döner schmeckt einfach nach garnichts, das fleisch ebenfalls nicht, allgemein nicht gewürzt. Sehr schade!

...auch hier gibt es ein sehr leckeres Adana Kebab! Da lohnt sich der Fußmarsch aus der Südstadt.
