I've been to the Bistro Sisters several times. Whether for coffee and delicious (homemade) cake or for lunch, the visit is definitely worth it. The girls are super sweet, and the atmosphere is informal and relaxed.

We ordered breakfast for two, beautifully presented on a round wooden platter filled with a generous selection of cheeses, sliced meats, warm bread, fresh vegetables, and homemade jam. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. What made the experience even more memorable was the personal touch: while we were enjoying our meal, the sisters kindly came by with freshly made, fluffy pancakes straight from the kitchen and offered them not only to us but also to another customer. This small but heartfelt gesture reminded me of the warmth of visiting family, where you’re always treated with love and care. The combination of excellent food, cozy ambiance, and truly outstanding service makes this place a gem. Was here for a networking event. Good atmosphere, excellent service. I only had the fries from the menu, but they were truly exceptionally delicious, not like the usual convenience stuff you get everywhere else. I'd love to come back to try more. They're even having brunch on August 31, 2025.

We were looking for a restaurant to eat at, and it was 4 p.m. Most of the nearby restaurants were closed or only open from 5-6 p.m., which is why I found this place online. The location is a bit out of the way, but easy to get to. This also makes it pleasantly quiet and relaxing. On the other hand, there's not a lot of foot traffic, which I would really appreciate for this business! The menu offers a variety, so there's something for everyone (our family's dietary preferences are specific, and we often have a hard time agreeing on something 😄). I was particularly craving Manti after seeing it on the menu – and I was very happy, it was super delicious! 😍 The other dishes we ordered were also beautifully presented and tasted very good! And the crepe for dessert rounded everything off perfectly. 😋 The owners are very friendly, empathetic, warm, and welcoming! We had a great chat and it was very pleasant, thank you! 😊 If I'm ever in the Hanover area, I'd love to eat there again! 🙏🏼

It's nice to have a place where you can go with all your friends, whether young, old, vegan, or with special needs – everyone is seen and appreciated here. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and plentiful, whether at breakfast or brunch. You can tell that a lot of love is put into the cooking here – and at absolutely fair prices. Everything is also of a very high hygiene standard – clean, well-maintained, and inviting. Access is easy for people with disabilities or those using a walker, and there's even an accessible restroom at the cemetery that can be shared – a thoughtful service. Particularly worth mentioning was a celebration and music event we attended – it was a truly memorable experience! Exciting, atmospheric, and at the same time, a family-friendly atmosphere – you can simply feel the passion that goes into the work here. In conclusion: A place to feel good, enjoy, and return. I can only recommend it. Bistro Sisters is really great. They accommodated our requests, and the food was delicious. I have trouble going out to eat with my dog. I'm glad that dogs are welcome.

A wonderful summer party! We celebrated our two birthdays at the "Bistro Sisters" with family and friends. It was a thoroughly successful evening. The two "sisters" took loving care of us even beforehand. Everything ran perfectly during the party. The buffet was a visual and gustatory delight, the grilled delicacies were delicious, the service was attentive and personal, and prosecco, Aperol Spritz, water, wine, and beer flowed freely – the guests were consistently satisfied and enthusiastic. We were here after a funeral with 30 people. My mother had chosen the catering beforehand. Clear soup with garnish, sandwiches, cake, coffee, and water. It wasn't just too expensive, it was outrageous and way, way too expensive. You get the feeling that the mourners' situation was being exploited. On the table were cake, sandwiches, and coffee. After about 15 minutes, the soup arrived. Since some had already eaten cake, the soup didn't fit at all. The sandwiches were served on very plain white bread. The quality seemed like the simplest supermarket bread. The cake (a simple sheet cake) didn't seem very high-quality either. If the whole thing had been charged at 10-12 euros per person, fine. But it cost 30 euros per person. So, a total of 900 euros. An absolute joke. The bistro might be a good place for a coffee. But for a funeral service with advance reservations, what is offered is a disgrace.

Far too expensive. At a funeral for 15 people, for €19.90 per person, there were only three types of partially thawed cake, coffee (tea available upon request), and water. Four plates, each with eight small pieces of cake. The goods were worth approximately €50.00, and the total paid was €298.50. It was also stated that supplies would be refilled regularly, but apart from the water, none were provided.

Lovely place with delicious food in a calm area. The ladies that run the place, their warmth and hospitality are reasons enough to stop by! This was our second visit while driving longer distance, and we will for sure be back.

Unfortunately, I can only rate the cappuccino and the restrooms, but that's why they give it 5 stars. I've rarely seen such clean restrooms. Super friendly, delicious cappuccino. All in all, an A+ with ☆

We were looking for a breakfast place that was open on Mondays and not in the city center. They prepared a surprise breakfast for us, and the three of us really enjoyed it. You feel welcome as a guest here; the two sisters are very friendly. We'll definitely be back. Our dog was also welcome.

A very good breakfast buffet for my 70th birthday; my guests were thrilled. The same was true for my husband; we went for dinner, and the buffet was also excellent. No matter where you go, you'll always receive a friendly welcome and good service.

We were invited to a family celebration at Bistro Sisters and were absolutely thrilled. The bistro is relatively unassuming from the outside, but the glass front makes it beautifully bright inside. The dishes prepared were truly delicious. We didn't know where to begin. The team really did everything they could to give us a wonderful evening, and in my opinion, they succeeded. A visit to the bistro is a must for our next family visit. :-)

I ended up here at Bistro Sisters quite by chance. I was staying at a nearby hotel, and since I didn't feel like getting on the S-Bahn again and traveling downtown, I ended up here at Bistro Sisters. And it was a stroke of luck. Even though my colleagues and I arrived just before closing time, the landlady conjured up dinner for us and kept the restaurant open a little longer. She even fulfilled our special requests for the food. (The mushroom cream sauce for the schnitzel was made fresh and not from a can.) So we ended up there again the next day and were greeted like old friends. The landlady is very friendly, so you immediately feel at home. The food is perfect, either classic German or Kurdish. We didn't need a menu on the second evening either; we followed the landlady's recommendation and didn't regret it. Thank you for the friendly service and the delicious food. See you next time.

The restaurant is located directly at the city cemetery in Hanover Lahe, ideal for a funeral service. You can bring your own flowers for the tables. You can spend a few nice hours there with sandwiches and cakes. Great team!

Lovingly run restaurant by two nice, helpful ladies. We are there every first Sunday for breakfast on the occasion of our motorcycle get-together. The breakfast is delicious, fresh and enhanced with Mediterranean extras. We can highly recommend the restaurant and are always happy to be there. We received a very friendly welcome. The boss suggested a surprise breakfast and we were very happy with the composition. The latte macchiato and café au lait were also good. The foam is nice and creamy. You can also put together your own breakfast using all the ingredients. It is a mix of German / Oriental. The börek cigar and fried egg with tomato, sucuk combination was delicious and homemade. Even if the restaurant is directly adjacent to the cemetery, it is worth a visit. We were pleasantly surprised 👍 There are plenty of parking spaces available. Direct bus connection and the train also stops nearby. Not only suitable for funerals, but also for birthday parties. The women's toilet could use some "love". Loose tile, trash can broken, toilet paper holder. 😉 The basket with sanitary pads and disinfectant is great👍 Conclusion: Very happy again 👍

It was just supposed to be a stopover on the way back from vacation. A friend just wanted to visit her father in the nearby cemetery. Then we took the opportunity to take a break at the nearby Bistro Sisters. We had no expectations of a bistro at the entrance to a cemetery! However, this was exceeded in every respect! Service: it couldn't be nicer or friendlier. Food: Since we still had a long drive home ahead of us, just a little something. Börek, simple but incredibly good. Then the highlight: Suse! Spicy without burning your palate. I didn't even have to ask and got a second, larger bowl. It was so good that I licked the bowl with my fingers. The owner would have packed something for me, but unfortunately she still had to make new ones. If we're in the area again, we'll come back!

Hello everyone, after a funeral we stopped here with the family (30 people) (within walking distance of the cemetery - perfect because of the proximity!) and were able to sit together in a setting appropriate to the occasion. A large table for 30 people was set up outside on a quiet terrace and sandwiches as well as coffee and cake were served on large platters spread across the table (yum!). The owners are very friendly, respectful, stay in the background and provide everything you need easily and without being asked. Thank you for your calm and understanding professional manner, so we were able to celebrate this day appropriately. We can highly recommend this location. The owner also told me that they also do other events than just funerals. I can well imagine that the location is also suitable for this! Best regards :-)

A wonderful friendly service. We had schnitzel with fried potatoes and chicken with rice and tzatziki. Slightly Turkish, prepared for the German tongue, fantastic. It was soooo delicious! Thank you. We were thrilled! Absolutely recommended!

We came in a large group with small children and dogs. The dogs were given something to drink without asking. The children were pampered with little things throughout. The children were able to play well in the terrace area and in front of the restaurant as it is a traffic-calmed area. Everything was well prepared and continually updated. There were “only” nine of us. But there was food for 20 people ;-)! We'll definitely come back again! Highly Recommended
