The service was friendly and quick, unfortunately that was it. A kebab without a soul. No sexy sexy, delicious delicious. Quantity instead of class. 4 identical kebabs were ordered, all put together differently. The kebab was way too full and way too dry. Ice-cold vegetables, tomatoes and cucumber cut into 2x2 cm cubes, occasionally a whole thick slice of beefsteak tomato. Cheap filling with no taste. But there are childhood memories, because the vegetables were seasoned with something that originally tasted like Knorr Salatfix. In my opinion, inappropriate. The price shouldn't be for something like that. I stopped after half the kebab, it just wasn't fun. I also pay a euro more but I want to taste passion and love. Less mass, more quality!

Good kebab man. Tastes really good, priced in the upper midrange. However, I think that the kebab would be even better if you didn't use the standard bread but rather a homemade one or your own creation. Either way, it tastes good and I get my food there regularly.

Horror, kebab, be careful!!! I ordered a Dürüm with cheese for €9.50. I lost a tenner and got €0.50 back. This is in no way acceptable. The kebab tastes like fart, the meat wasn't cut off fresh, but instead I got the rotten meat that had been cut off for 5 hours, the sauces were extremely disgusting. The chili sauce tastes like ketchup and some chili and the salad wasn't fresh at all.

Terrible value for money. Dürüm €8.50 is an extremely cheeky price, even in busy areas. Here, where no one should go anyway, since the ingredients are not all fresh and you get instant food poisoning, the prices are so outrageously high, even though the food is of very poor quality.

On July 27th, 2024, the party bus stopped in front of Istanbul in Striesen at 8 p.m. as agreed. 26 hungry party guests arrived in high spirits and were rewarded with a meal that was perfect for “EVERYONE” at the minute! All party guests enjoyed it very much and after half an hour they all went back to the party bus with two lovingly prepared fruit platters. We would all like to thank the Istanbul team from the bottom of our hearts for the great, punctual work and, given the heat, not that easy. Thank you very much and we would love to come back Jens & Simone Hülzenbecher as well as 24 other grateful party guests!

I will start from saying- I am a real picky eater, and definitely difficult to satisfy, however this place does feed you so good, I can’t complain! The portions are big, always fresh, seasoned salad in addition to really great and good quality meat it’s definitely what you wanna go for! You can feel ur food is made out of heart, people working there are super friendly, you always feel welcome, they will always find the time to chit chat with you and give you a big, warming smile :) Great people, awesome food, I can only recommend :)

Ate here on a day trip to Dresden before going to see an exhibition at the Technische Sammlungen. At first I thought the prices were a little higher than in Berlin, but still good, but no, the portions are huge, the prices are amazing. I had a gigantic pide and it came with a huge side salad and sauce as well. We couldn't finish and one of the guys packed it up for us, which we ate at HBf before heading back to Berlin. The outside seating area is great and the guys are super friendly. Even with my dodgy German and my friend's English we communicated well. Everything on the menu is numbered so if you know those you should be able to order no problem.

By far the worst kebab in Dresden. We went to this kebab shop based on a recommendation and were extremely disappointed. Except for the quantity, there were no positive points. The meat was very, very fatty and not crispy... it was also very thickly cut and very, very strongly seasoned. The bread was not toasted and was very moist from the salad liquid. The salad was okay and not very fresh. The sauces were okay too. The chili sauce was just ketchup with some chili. Overall we found the kebab very disgusting. Definitely not a recommendation.

Meat is gristly, kebab is dry after half of it and prices are way too high. Everything is purchased, nothing is homemade. At least there was a bit of a stomach ache after eating it. Istanbul used to be somewhat ok, but today you can watch the shop being dismantled.

Gegen Ende 2023 einen normalen Döner gekauft. Preis bei 6,5€. Der Döner schmeckt gut, es ist alles frisch. Das Fleisch ist Standard... Überwiegend Hackfleisch, aber geschmacklich gut. Die Saucen sind auch lecker. Brot ist auch Standard Fladenbrot. Bei dem Preis muss erwähnt werden, dass nachdem der Döner fertig gebaut war, nocheinmal Fleisch drauf gepackt wurde. Früher war sowas eine super oder big Döner. Also die Portion ist wirklich groß, daher war der Preis dafür definitiv nicht zu hoch. Mir wurde wahrscheinlich ein kleiner/ Kinderdöner reichen. Ich würde gerne in Summe 4,5 Sterne geben. Da dies nicht geht, habe ich aufgerundet.

Der Instanbul-Döner auf der Schandauer Str. war früher eine Top-Adresse in Dresden. Seit langem mal wieder da gewesen und ich muss sagen inzwischen ist er im unteren Mittelfeld Das zwar recht freundliche Personal, mischt sich teilweise aufdringlich in Tischgespräche ein. Der Döner, auf dessen Bewertung ich mich hauptsächlich beschränken möchte, war lieblos zusammengekracht. Bevor man den Döner, so wie er bestimmt ist, mit den Händen essen konnte, musste man sich erst mit der Gabel durchs "Gemüsebeet" futtern um kein Fiasko zu verursachen. Im Anschluss gab's dann nur noch Fleisch, Brot und wenig Soße - gute Verteilung ist anders. Spieß, Brot und Soßen sind zugekauft - für eine Top-Bewertung reicht das im heutigen Döner-Business leider nicht mehr aus. Der Salat war frisch. Der Laden besticht vorallem durch sein schönes Ambiente. In der Mittagszeit ist stets sehr viel los, denn trotz Standart-food ist er im Vergleich immernoch Striesens Top-Laden, in Dresden jedoch nur Mittelmaß. Fazit: kann man machen, wenn man mal in der Ecke ist. PS: Die angepriesene Majo-Soße ohne Milchanteil sollte mit Vorsicht genoßen werden, mein laktosintolleranter Kollege sitzt noch immer auf'm Pott.

Nach vielen Jahren wieder einmal probiert. Es ist schweineteuer geworden. Dann wird nicht mehr zugehört was man bestellt. Ich habe zweimal gesagt, dass auf der Dönerbox bitte KEINE Soße drauf soll, da es sonst nicht gegessen wird. Es wird nicht nachgefragt, sondern einfach gemacht wie sie es wollen und nicht wie es der Kunde möchte. Der Rest der Bestellung war von der Qualität eher mittelmäßig wodurch die Preise nicht gerechtfertigt scheinen. Vielen Dank nie wieder!
