Istanbul Döner in Schleiden

What I got delivered today wasn't food - it was an attack on my health. The pizza I ordered came WITH MOLD. And no, I'm not talking about fancy mold or a special ingredient - I'm talking about really nasty, furry mold on the edge. I took a bite and thought something tasted funny. Then I took a closer look - and puked directly into the box. This is no longer bad service, this is assault. And the best part? No response from the store. No call, no apology, no replacement - just ignored, as if it were completely normal for a customer to almost run out of food (spoiler: it isn't). This shop has absolutely nothing to do with gastronomy. If you're serving mold, it's better to do something else - maybe something that doesn't involve food. Never again. Just disgusting.

We've eaten there a few times, every dish was delicious and the service was very friendly, from the owner to the waitress.

Delicious! We had: crispy falafel, fresh salad, very tasty (I think homemade) tzatziki; baked kebab No.2; Doner complete. Friendly faces everywhere, nice decor. However, in winter you should not sit near the door. When it opens it will be very cold. Luckily there are plenty of other tables.

We have been coming to eat here regularly for a long time and have always been satisfied. Both the food and the service are really good!

Today I had too much salad and not enough kebab meat on my kebab plate

It's a shame to even put something like that in the box. Completely burnt food.

Very expensive for the quality and quantity of the food, plus the customer service isn't always nice - it depends on who takes the order. I understand that a lot of things are expensive these days, but this is really overpriced compared to other stores. Form your own opinion, mine is written.

Unpleasant atmosphere. There is smoke coming from all sides (including employees). Doner pizza really isn't good with that. I asked for some garlic sauce for the pizza. You don't have garlic sauce, but you do have tzatziki (???). Ok, then tzatziki. In the end they charged me €4 for the small bowl.🥴

I don't like this kebab restaurant because the customers' wishes are not taken into account in any way. The question about small or half portions was answered with no. The question of whether to use the kebab box (smallest Döner portion without bread, which I could find on the menu) on a plate (I don't like eating out of cardboard) was answered with NO. I asked the staff (owner?) behind the counter why these little requests were answered with NO He explained to me that such exceptions were only made for small children and senior citizens. Hello....I'M ALMOST SEVENTY!!!! When do you become a senior at Istanbul Döner? In the future we will visit the other kebab shop in town because customer-oriented behavior is important there written and the wishes of the guests are taken into account.

We (7 friends from Krefeld) ate there several times during our vacation. We were served very friendly, everything was clean and two tables were quickly put together. We had different dishes on these days and were very satisfied with all of them. If we are here again, we would like to come back here. Kind regards from Krefeld 🙂

This snack restaurant is located at the top of the main street. Very good food, very friendly service, really large portions. To recommend.

As a soaking wet Eifelsteig hiker you were greeted in a very friendly manner! We would have stayed outside in the winter garden out of consideration, but they honestly asked us to please eat in the warm! We did that. It was extremely tasty and everyone was very nice and in the mood for friendly small talk! This is not a kebab shop but a restaurant… Top recommendation if you come here.

I just bought a pizza from my brother from Antep, that is, from Istanbul döner 😂 The price was written as 10 or so with Dutch sauce. When giving the order he said 9.90. When I paid the bill, he took 13, which made me distracted. Now that I looked at the pizza, I don't have the courage to call it pizza. What a contradiction this is 🤣 what kind of a day am I having, God, help me 😂

Sowohl der Zustand des Lokals als auch die Mahlzeiten ließen mehr als zu wünschen übrig. Abgesehen davon, dass die sanitären Einrichtungen auf einer nicht menschlichen Verfassung waren (Toiletten waren mit Urin und Erbrochenen geflutet), war auch das Essen sehr schlecht. Geschmacklich war das Essen mit Pappe zu vergleichen und den überaus viel vertragenden Mägen hat es auch sehr viele Probleme bereitet. Zudem kam, dass das Personal nicht freundlich mit Kunden umgeht. Abgesehen davon, dass sie Zutaten berechnen und erst auf doppelter Nachfrage das Essen damit anrichten. Dieses Lokal ist nicht zu empfehlen. Liebe Grüße

Leckeres Essen und ein Chef der immer gut gelaunt ist

Habe mir dort letztens 2 Döner und pommes gekauft. Na ja..Muss ich nicht unbedingt noch mal ausprobieren.Auserdem sollte man doch auch das Zahlsystem überdenken. Nur Barzahlung, das geht mal gar nicht mehr in der heutigen Zeit...

Sehr lecker, modern eingerichtet und alles sauber. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und man kann sowohl drinnen als auch draußen sehr bequem sitzen.

Das Lokal sieht sehr modern aus, schein wohl erst kürzlich neu renoviert oder eingerichtet worden zu sein. Hatte einen klassischen Döner. Preis Leistung ist Top! Statt Rotkraut wurden Gurken verwendet, hab ich noch nie gesehen, war interessant das mal zu probieren 😅
