Didn't eat anything, but enjoyed the very excellent home-made wheat beer. Great, a really great beer. The menu is also good. That'll come next time.

Austrian-Bavarian inn, directly at the Großhesselohe-Isartalbahnhof S-Bahn stop and in the direction of Grünwald/Harlaching near the Großhesseloher Bridge, in the historic Isartalbahn station building. If you breathe Bavarian railway history in and around the building, you will be greeted by the classic Austrian tavern tradition from the Kuchl with Tafelspitz from Tauernrind, Wiener Schnitzel with potato and bird salad, Salzburger Nockerl, Grüner Veltliner, Almdudler and many other delicacies of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. A combination of white-blue and red-white-red flags on the wall would be a nice addition as decoration... For lovers of Austrian tavern culture, which suits Upper Bavaria so much better than currywurst and herring herring, an absolute recommendation, almost a must. The staff is super friendly, the boss is Austrian, who’s surprised… 🇦🇹👍

Turning an old train station into a restaurant is certainly a challenge. There is even a small brewery integrated here and as a guest you can experience an insight into the art of brewing in the Isar Valley. The meal, from the starter soup to the main course to the Bavarian Kaiserschmarrn with homemade apple compote as dessert, was a single tasteful experience. Everything came fresh and very hot from the kitchen, was cooked to perfection and was of absolutely high quality. In addition, the service was outstanding, friendly and very attentive. No matter whether the waiters or the bar waiter or bartender. In addition to the service and the food, the friendliness towards the children is particularly emphasized. The restaurant was well attended and there was a large event in the hall. Nevertheless, all wishes were taken into account and the four children present were well looked after. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. In terms of price, like almost everywhere else these days, it's a bit higher. Ich war mit einem Geschäftspartner dort zum Abendessen. Das Essen und der Service waren erwartungsgemäß sehr gut, mind. 4*. Der insgesamt positive Eindruck wurde dann durch die Rechnung geschmälert, weil dort ein Espresso Macchiato satte fünf (5) Euro kostet, - m.M.n. eine unverschämte Abzocke.

Huge spareribs and a great schnitzel.

This brewery serves burgers with a touch of homeland love: juicy meat, crispy bread and a sauce to die for! Plus a Kaiserschmarrn that is reminiscent of Grandma's recipe - light, fluffy and with a hint of powdered sugar. The innkeeper serves with a lot of humor and a charming saying on his lips. Here you can experience Bavaria in its purest form and are guaranteed to go home full and happy! Gladly again.

Service was largely ok, but honestly two people in service when the store is full is simply not enough. The dish I ordered was a burger Which was served after an hour with cold fries. After complaining to the service, the dish was taken back to the kitchen and was later served with warm fries (rock hard) and a burger that was also only rock hard in the microwave with gratinated cheese in the crispy version on the burger. All in all, a burger from MC would have been more palatable. Conclusion expensive and bad.,. Not recommended in my opinion!

Das Bier ist nach all den Jahren immer sehr gut! Ich liebe den Stationsweizen. Absolute Empfehlung. ABER das Essen ist hochpreisig und lässt zu wünschen übrig. Beim Schweinebraten muss man zwei Mal hinschauen, um die Knödel als solche zu erkennen. Beim Sommersalat stand zwar geröstetes Baguette, aber es fehlte. Erst auf mehrfache Nachfrage gab es dann pro Portion zwei Baguettescheibchen. Wie bereits gesagt, das Bier ist hervorragend. Zum Essen sollte man sich ein anderes Lokal suchen.

Das Essen war leider sehr mittelmäßig bis schlecht: Salat ertrank in Sauce, Käsespätzle angebraten und die Burger waren hart wie Schuhsole. Gut waren das Tartar und der Backhendlsalat.

🤩 In principle, I'm not a brewery goer... I don't drink beer... that's usually part of it. Today I'm in the Isartaler Brauhaus for the first time and everything is delicious. The Tartuffo Ice Cream Pistachio is particularly excellent. Never eaten as good as here. My compliments to the chef. My husband's roast pork also looked delicious, my salad was good... but that's just salad most of the time, you can't go wrong here. I just don't eat pork and not in the evening anyway.

We went there as a family for dinner. Both the service and the ambience are absolutely impeccable. The former train station is a very nice location with the style of a modern, but still traditional brewery restaurant. The food was also very good: we had roast pork and plaice once. Only the side dishes could be a little more. This makes little difference to the costs for the restaurant, but makes the guests fuller. :) All in all, again at any time!

The service is very professional and friendly. What also impressed us was that they brew their own beer. Veal schnitzel and beer tasted very good. The high quality was highly commendable. The prices are correspondingly a little more expensive. The only criticism is that the portions could be a bit larger for the price. Conclusion: If you would like to enjoy a delicious meal and beer in peace and are more concerned about quality rather than quantity, I would recommend this restaurant. In any case, we would like to come back when we are nearby.

We were there today with a larger group. We had already asked by phone whether there was anything to eat for a person who follows a vegan diet. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und der junge Mann, der uns bedient hat, war überaus höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. ABER sehr unhöflich und unfreundlich war der Angestellte, der mit der Vergabe der Plätze beauftragt war. Nachdem wir, zwei Frauen, nicht reserviert hatten, wurde uns der Tisch neben dem Eingang zur Küche zugeteilt. Dort wollten wir nicht sitzen und baten deshalb um Plätze an einem anderen Tisch. Der Angestellte wurde unfreundlich und unwirsch und erklärte uns, alle Plätze im Lokal wären reserviert. Dann fand er doch noch freie Plätze im hinteren Teil des Lokals. Dort nahmen wir dann Platz und stellten fest, dass kein einziger der Tische reserviert war. Auch 2 Stunden später waren fast alle der Tische noch frei. Sehr unfreundlich legte uns der Angestellte 2 Speisekarten auf das Tischende, die durften wir uns selber holen.

Toller Ambiente, leider sehr laut wenn mehrere Tische belegt sind. Service ist ok, könnte aber aufmerksamer sein. Preis-/Leistung stimmt leider nicht! - kleine Portion - welche geschmacklich in Ordnung war - für viel Geld.
