Celebration with 50 people was great, we'd love to do it again.

An der Isar entlang, ob zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad und dann hoch zur Waldwirtschaft die derzeit - mit etwas Schnee eingehüllt - eine wunderbare Ausstrahlung hat. Rein in die Stube, von dem freundlichen Ober eine super Empfehlung entgegennehmen und dann vor dem Kachelofen geniessen. So schön kann ein kalter Wintertag an der Isar sein.

Food was ok, but way too expensive. Over €40 for a mini steak with dry fries. The restaurant was also way too full and the table was way too big.

Very beautiful and very good. Very good service and food too. A little more expensive, but beautifully covered. Gladly again.

After we have been regular guests at Wawi in the run-up to Christmas for years, I was a little disappointed this time. The waiter's haste was a little too sporty - so you couldn't fully enjoy your appetizer and the main course was already there. The duck was excellent as always; Unfortunately, despite the price increase, the size of the dumpling was saved. He was almost afraid as small as he was. There was also no longer a little bread with lard at the front as usual (I think you have to accept that). But it would be nice if there was a working soap dispenser in the toilets. Unfortunately, there was no towel and the disinfectant didn't even work, so we had to be inventive. We were in the small parlor on the left. (November 24th at noon)

A really great beer garden - especially during the week. There is some easy listening jazz there... like everywhere in M, the portions are smaller and the prices have increased. For a small sausage salad €8.50… but a good beer price :-) Easily accessible by bike… and chilled out and downhill

Stopped by after cycling. There was a jazz band playing. It was self service. I was a little surprised how expensive it was.

The venison chops were far too small for it being by far the most expensive dish on the menu. 2 pieces with a ladle of mashed potatoes for well over €30 is not ok. Going home hungry even with dessert... The salad with goat cheese was twice as much for half the money.

Unfortunately, it was a total failure. The employees were neither motivated to prepare the food for us nor were they at their place to collect the cash. They preferred to flirt with their colleagues rather than cash in on us and the food in the beer garden was a catastrophe, far too expensive for this place we won't see us again

5 star plus! The WaWi Pullach is always great and keeps getting better - new outdoor area including heating, culinary variety, top service, etc.

A local favourite, lots of places to eat, and enjoy a beer with some jazz. Quite a lot of kids running around so be aware of that too.

We were here with #Biggoot and #Littlefeet after studying in the morning. The parking lot now costs €2.50, which is absolutely ok. We paid €17.50 for the Steckerlfisch, a mackerel, and it tasted really delicious. Just like the half chicken and the fries. Everything was very good, perhaps a little salty, but very tasty. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed an ice cream and a stroll along the Isar. A lovely lunch or afternoon, which was really wonderful in the beer garden in the sun with live music. Thanks to the Wawi team, who even took our dishes with them. We can only recommend the Waldwirtschaft for families, also because there are trampolines, mini golf and swing boats.

We didn’t get into the restaurant yesterday at 15:00. The seats were free, but everything was reserved, and during the 3 hours of my observation no one took it. I had to go to Biergarten but it’s no better, everything that costs in June there is nothing except Pommes und Schnitzel, Carry Wurst Parkplatz 2.5€ für was ???? I came to eat with my family at a restaurant and had to pay for parking, this doesn’t exist anywhere else.

A very nice beer garden with a great ambience and live music. There are plenty of spaces and there are enough parking spaces. It's just a shame that the glasses/jugs aren't properly filled, so only four stars.

One of the most beautiful beer gardens in and around Munich. Delicious food, fine drinks, incredibly beautiful location. There is also something for children (trampoline, usually opens around 1700, 3 euros for 5 minutes). You can also play mini golf (although the course is more like... Well...). And all of this with lots of chestnuts and a view of the Isar. We love it 🥰

Cake tasted like water, after I complained, I had to spend half an hour arguing with the woman at the counter to get a new one, which I then had to pay for. All in all, the rest of the food is very good and inexpensive.

We were there on a Sunday evening and it wasn't very busy. When we drove into the parking lot we had to pay €2.50. After getting out, I asked whether you really had to pay if you went there to eat. It would mean that parking is only chargeable on weekends and public holidays. Only when I asked did he give me the parking ticket. If you spend 10 bills you get one measure for free. Well, €25 isn't necessarily free. The food prices are also quite high. I would assume that at least parking is free. The self-service area offers a wide selection of food, including many vegetarian dishes. The ambience with the jazz music is really nice.

I don’t know, the food is not bad at all, although the price is steep, but the service lets us down! We stood in line to board, they had already begun to serve us, but were immediately distracted by the newcomers and we waited again... the waiter gave us a menu card and left without asking about drinks, and then we sat for a long time with dirty plates... all these shortcomings greatly spoil the overall picture!

Lots of hustle and bustle, self-service, food offering "well", high prices typical of the area. Ambiance very chic. Next door there was a trampoline and swing boat for a fee. There is also a restaurant in the same place where you can be served. There is a different menu there and more expensive.

A little bit like heaven on earth just at the diorstep of Munich. Looking over the Isar at its more serene parts, the setting is relaxing and marvelous. Which might be in part inspired by the jazz band which plays on each day of fine weather in the middle of the garden. The food is definitely above the beer garden standard. Never mind you can bring your own food and just buy the reasonably priced drinks, if on a tight budget. Other so so beer garden in the city may be easier to reach, but a beer tastes more heavenly after you have sweat on your way out of the city and climbed up the hills on a bike:-)

Simply one of the best Biergarten in Munich. You can easily spend a whole day there and have everything you need. A small commute from Munich out here is always worth it.

Very nice beer garden with live music. Lots of seating in the "open" area. There you can put together your own food and get drinks at stalls. Payment is made when leaving the area. Large selection of dishes, especially typical “beer garden dishes” are highly recommended. There is also a restaurant with table service. The food is good here too. But the beer garden is more rustic and cozy.

After swimming on the Isar, this place is just great, certainly a better kind of beer garden! The selection is typically nothing special, except that they always cook the food fresh! In terms of service, the restaurant is too expensive for me (certainly justified, like everything in Munich) See you soon again

Very old or very outdated beer garden Here you get pretty much ripped off for everything My impression was that there were parking fees plus the overpriced prices and the low quality of the food The constant presence of a music group in Wiesntracht doesn't help; it's more of a hindrance to a visit. The adjacent leisure area with mini golf and trampoline are also very outdated and overpriced. You can save yourself the experience because a trip there will leave a big dent in your wallet without any associated feeling of happiness. An extremely bad impression and the traditional roast pork is pure horror and you should really be very ashamed of it. Under no circumstances can you recommend kebab, just warn against it

Beer not cold, but rather cheap at 11 euros. Food very expensive, not really justified by the music. Tarmpoline jumping costs 3 euros - expensive or inappropriate. But very nice beer garden and nice people. Accordingly, my recommendation: bring your own food and make sure you get a cold beer

just wanted something to drink. Unfortunately I made the mistake of mentioning this. The service manager replied that everything was reserved. We are now sitting in the beer garden next door, have already eaten more than the two older ladies in the served part and are looking at the empty reserved tables for 2 hours!

Very good, excellent food, excellent beer

Large, very nice beer garden that we reached after a walk of around 2 hours along the Isar. On Sundays a small group of musicians plays jazz which makes the place even more pleasant. Usual local food and drink as in all biergartens, although a fancier restaurant also seems to be available adjacent to the biergarten. A charming place to go on weekends with friends or family and a must-do for tourists who like to live real Munich experiences :)

Mass tourism beergarden to milk your very last cent. So the prices are through the roof, quality of food is lacking and the staff couldn't care less. Even the playground costs additional fees. 2 stars for the live music.

We came especially for the American Octoberfest. It was postponed because of the weather and now we're back at the rescheduled date with dream weather: Still no celebration. We are totally annoyed. No burgers, no nice music and overpriced food and drink. No program for the children either. Big failure and big disappointment for everyone. Posters still hang...

It's a shame that the roast pork has deteriorated so much. The coleslaw tastes old and there is a slice of bacon on it. The dumplings are out of the package. You get 3 cm of crust. Where's the rest? €17.50 for a bitter disappointment

Beautiful beergarden in an amazing spot. I can definitely recommend walking by foot or taking the bike to this place to enjoy the surrounding nature. The beergarden is spacious and has live music (jazz was played when I was there on a sunday) The food is typical for a beergarden and neither better or worse than other gardens in munich but its the atmosphere that makes it absolutely worth it to take a trip I can recommend the Steckerlfisch or the classic Schweinsbraten

For me it's the best beer garden in Munich, also because it's a little further out and so the classic beer tourists don't find their way here. Idyllically located on the Isar between the Solln and Grünewald villas, this institution offers everything your heart desires at very reasonable prices. There is also an outdoor area assigned to the inn with service if you don't like the self-service. A special treat is the music in the middle of the outdoor area, which has a lot of slow jazz in its repertoire. The cigar roller (10€ / piece) rounds off the fine offer. For those who refuse beer, there is of course also a fine selection of wines and bubbly. Parking space €2.50.

It was already better! Nice beer garden, but the food in the self-service area today was subpar. Tomatoes taste like fish, but the ketchup has never seen a tomato and tastes like pure chemicals. Everything was very greasy and bland. Sorry, but it has to be said.

For me it's one of the most beautiful beer gardens in all of Munich, because it's super authentic! Very tastefully decorated inside and out. Live music outside is a wonderful way to round off a meal. The food tastes great and the service is extremely attentive and friendly!

Great location, high quality. A visit is always worthwhile. However, you pay as much for a snack (pretzel, beer, Obaztda, Radi) as you would for a full warm dinner elsewhere.

We stopped here on the way to Pullach on Saturday afternoon. Very friendly waitresses. Dog friendly. It was a bit cool, but there are heaters available and we were offered blankets. Even the band has already played in the beer garden. Preparations were just underway for public viewing. Only one point deducted because it is relatively expensive and there are few cheap dishes on the menu.

I am a regular guest in the serviced area of ​​the Wawi and have always been looked after by the friendly staff ever since. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with a service representative today. My sisters and their partners were visiting. Since I wanted to show you the Wawi beer garden atmosphere, I initially decided on the unattended area. When we still fancied a Kaiserschmarren, we wanted to move to the serviced area. In order to prevent unnecessary problems, I asked an employee in this area in advance whether this was possible. After we sat down, another waitress came and very rudely asked if we had just sat at his table without asking. When I wanted to order Kaiserschmarren for the round, this employee suddenly became very loud and said if we were just coming for coffee. And that guests often first go to the beer garden and then go to the served area for dessert. I then explained to him that I had specifically asked his colleague. The person did not respond to this at first and left the situation. When I tried to talk again, he offered to bring us a Kaiserschmarren. Since the employee's appearance devastated the mood and made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted, we decided against it and left. Assuming we had come directly to the served area just for a Kaiserschmarren, then that wouldn't be a problem? And if this change from the beer garden to the served area happens often and is not welcomed, the landlady must communicate and mark this accordingly. Nevertheless, that does not justify such a rude, disrespectful and unfriendly behavior towards a guest.
