Sehr nettes Personal, waren auch sehr bemüht,die Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Das Essen war heiß und hat gut geschmeckt. Hier würde ich wieder hingehen.

Samstag Angebot gehabt , und es war super lecker . Habe mir noch zusätzlich Calamari bestell alles war hervorragend ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️Mein Mann hatte Hâhnchengyros das war auch sehr gut !!!!! Chef hat super gekocht , und die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich.

Habe 25 Euro für calamarie bezahlt für das Geld erwarte ich mehr .

Wir waren gestern mit der ganzen Familie hier essen. Insgesamt war der Besuch in Ordnung, allerdings mit kleinen Abstrichen. Ich hatte mich für ein Fleischgericht entschieden. Das Fleisch war gut durchgegart und gut gewürzt. Meine Freundin hatte ein Nudelgericht, das leider etwas zu salzig war und somit für Sie nicht genießbar. Als Nachspeise hatten wir Apfelstrudel bestellt. Enttäuschenderweise war der Apfelstrudel nicht warm. Außerdem wurde er nicht wie in der Karte beschrieben mit Vanilleeis und Vanillesauce serviert, sondern mit einer anderen Eissorte und einer anderen Sauce, die aus unserer Sicht überhaupt nicht zum Gericht gepasst haben. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass kein Vanilleeis mehr vorhanden war. Ich finde, in so einem Fall sollte der Gast vor der Bestellung oder spätestens vor dem Servieren darüber informiert werden. Das hätte unnötige Enttäuschung vermieden.

Wir waren dort sehr gerne, weil es wirklich sehr gutes griechisches Essen gab. Wir essen gern griechisch, aber das neue Konzept und die neue Speisekarte haben uns leider nicht überzeugt. 😔😒😏😒. Wieder ein super Grieche in Schweinfurt weniger. Schaaadeee!!!! 😔😞😏🙁😕😒

Ich kann es empfehlen, das Essen ist super lecker.

Das Essen war lecker, das Ambiente gehoben und von den Lärmschutzpaneelen an den Wänden war ich begeistert. Aber 7,30€ für einen Espresso macchiato nach dem Essen zu verlangen, geht finde ich gar nicht. Auch wenn er zugegebenermaßen sehr lecker war. (Kaffeeprodukte waren in der Getränkekarte nicht zu finden und der Preis war demnach nicht im Vorfeld ersichtlich.)

Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service, es wurde auf Essenswünsche eingegangen, dass Essen war sehr lecker.

Wir essen für unser Leben gerne griechisch und haben schon fast alle griechischen Restaurants in der Region probiert und waren vom Essen wirklich sehr enttäuscht. Der Internet Auftritt des Restaurants verspricht mehr, als man bekommt. Vor Ort gibt es nur eine super kleine Karte mit sehr wenigen Gerichten. Auf Nachfrage hieß es aufgrund Personal mangels. Obwohl für die Größe des Restaurants wirklich viel Personal da war. Vorspeisen waren okay. Wir haben verschiedene probiert. Von der Qualität ok, das ein oder andere war einfach nicht unser Geschmack. Brot war sehr sehr weich und war von der Konsistenz eher wie ein trocken kuchen. Hauptgang hat uns leider überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Gyros mit Metaxa Soße war unfassbar fettig und es war definitiv keine klassische metaxa Soße wie man sie üblicherweise bekommt. Es war eher eine Sahne Soße mit extrem viel Käse und Fett. War leider ungenießbar. Die knoblauchkartoffeln wurden ohne zaziki dazu serviert, was wir so bis dato auch nicht kannten. Ebenso waren sie sehr zäh und haben nach altem Fett geschmeckt. War definitiv nicht das, was man sich unter guter griechischer Küche vorstellt. Service war ok. Aufgrund der Tatsache dass wir mittlerweile fast alle griechischen Restaurants kennen, können wir diesen hier aus kulinarischer Sicht leider nicht weiter empfehlen.

Gemütlich, modernes Ambiente. Sehr freundlicher Service. Essen sehr lecker. Ich fand es toll, dass man seinen Grillteller selbst zusammenstellen konnte. Portion ausreichend, PreisLeistungsVerhältnis gut.

Gebucht für einen 80 Geburtstag, erste Bestellung der Getränke ging noch gut , dann ließ der Service völlig nach . Getränke wurden nur teilweise oder garnicht gebracht. Essen wurde in Etappen gebracht, und dann auch noch falsch . Toiletten unsauber und voller fliegen.

Gute griechische Speisen, frisch zubereitet. Netter Service. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt. Das Irodion liegt am Sennfelder Bahnhof. Parkplätze direkt neben dem Lokal. Sicherheitshalber sollte man reservieren, ist meist recht voll. Von mir eine Empfehlung.

Der Salat war nur Essig, Mousaka musste man die Auberginen suchen und, mal ehrlich Freunde- Mehlschwitze als Bechamel??? Ist nicht euer Ernst!! Der Service war super 👍

Heute waren wir das letzte mal da, durch ein Kommunikationsproblem wurde eine Portion Kalamaris gebracht - sollen angeblich 400g gewesen sein, bestellt habe ich 200 g. Von der Größe der Portion würde ich schätzen, dass es nur 200 g waren. Es ist schon verwirrend, dass es verschiedene Möglichkeiten gibt, Kalamaris zu bestellen. Danach war ich noch hungrig. Nach meiner Reklamation wurde der Chef gefragt und ich musste dann doch den vollen Preis bezahlen. Man hätte es kulanter regeln können. Wirklich sehr schade!

Gutes Essen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Man kann sich auch sein eigenes Essen zusammen stellen lassen.

Also das essen war richtig ungenießbar habe calamari bestellt also die calamari waren lasch die parnade abgefallen die pommes kein Geschmack und die Preise überteuert ne ne also beim Italiener schmecken die calamari 1000 mal besser als beim Griechen

Tolles Essen, aber bei großen Gruppen dauert es sehr lange bis man das Essen bekommt, davor werden die kleine Gruppen bedient, Einzeltische auch. Am besten Vorspeise bestellen ;) Also bitte Geduld mitbringen! Die Kellnerin war super höfflich, schnell, toll. Der Kellner etwas wenig flexibel... Das Essen war toll. Die Wartezeit absolut nicht akzeptabel, 2h. Tisch war vorher reserviert.

Wir waren heute Abend spontan nach einer kurzfristigen telefonischen Reservierung dort…der nette Herr am Telefon suchte sofort nach einer Lösung. Bis zum letzten Platz gefüllt. Service, Ambiente und ein tolles Miteinander vor und hinter der Theke…. neben dem extrem leckeren Essen und schmackhaftem Wein waren ein absolutes Highlight heute Abend. Wir sind dankbar für eine gelesene geniale Rezension als Tippgeber und können das Thema vom IRODION nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Danke auch in die Küche!!! Von außen hat der Laden echt Pech, Straße, Bahnschienen, Bauzäune, Kleidercontainer.. nicht was man sehen möchte. Von innen TOP!!! Service, Ambiente, das Essen ! Hier stimmt alles. Danke dass wir (trotz Hunde) hier sein durften, was für ein Genuß. Perfekte Leber, perfektes Hähnchenfilet, tolles Tzatziki... Sehr zu empfehlen, auch wenn wir - aufgrund der Entfernung- keine Stammgäste werden, wir kommen wieder !

We were in Schweinfurt for a seminar and dined here in the evening and were absolutely delighted. We would particularly like to highlight Darren's service. A service culture that is rarely seen these days. With great commitment and a genuine sense of commitment to the guests, he made the evening special. The food was also excellent: fresh, flavorful, and plentiful, so you'll truly feel satisfied at this upscale restaurant. A restaurant that impresses in every respect. Highly recommended!

We were guests yesterday as part of a large group and were impressed in every way. I would especially like to highlight Darin, our waiter: competent, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. All orders arrived at the same time – despite the number of people and the many different dishes. This speaks volumes about the excellent organization of the kitchen and service. The food was first-class in taste, presented with attention to detail. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the team was professional – I have rarely experienced large groups being served so smoothly. The service was friendly, and the food was simply outstanding. I've never had such deliciously prepared lamb at any other Greek restaurant. The rest of the food was also delicious! I can highly recommend it.

We made a short-notice reservation (10 minutes) by phone on Thursday for five people. We received a friendly welcome and were assigned a table. Ordering drinks took a while, but everything else after that was quick. We were apparently served by the chef himself, who gave us excellent advice on the selection of grilled dishes and salads. I have to say, the waiter (chef?) was the friendliest person I think I've ever experienced, and I've eaten there at least 1,000 times. The prices are higher than at most Greek restaurants, but the portions are large and of top quality. We highly recommend it to everyone.

A great Greek restaurant in every respect: the ambiance inside is top-notch, but the terrace is also a pleasant one. The location in the harbor with ample parking is perfect if you're passing through on the A70. But most importantly, the food impresses with its quality, freshness, and authenticity. We love the fresh garlic and the grilled food, just as it should be. An ouzo is served before the meal, so there's still room for a second person at the end. Thank you again for the welcome and the attentive service despite the summer menu and reduced customer service; we really appreciated it!

Absolutely overpriced. You have to order the side salad for €4.90, and everything else is an extra, so without drinks, you're quickly approaching €30 per plate – and the taste is just average! That's a no-brainer for us in SW!

The problem is the fruit flies flying around everywhere, but also the flies themselves—too many for a restaurant. They constantly land on the food, it's very stale. Something absolutely has to be done about that. And it's unacceptable that the kitchen door is constantly open. We won't be eating there in the future. And the garlic potatoes are completely oversalted. The meat was exceptionally good. People are walking around in sandals without socks, it's totally disgusting, 🤮🤮🤮🤮

We have been to this restaurant before and were generally satisfied. Now we had the opportunity to visit this place again. Unfortunately, this time we were all dissatisfied. 1. They changed the menu and now everything has become more expensive. The salad is separate. The drinks are very expensive. They removed the mixed plate from the menu. 2. We waited too long for our order. We ordered only a few simple dishes and we already thought that they had forgotten about us. 3. The food was tasteless. Just ordinary food, nothing special. Last time everything was much tastier. 4. The portions have become smaller. And most of it is a side dish. The only thing that was very tasty was the beef soup. BUT the portion was very small. And they didn't even give bread with the soup. I think they changed the cook. And this cook doesn't know how to cook well. Also, changing the menu was a big mistake. I will note again that the tables are not comfortable, sitting at them in a normal position is extremely problematic. Especially if you are a tall person. Unfortunately, our family does not see any point in returning to this restaurant. 🤷

We were there on June 28th. We spontaneously went without a reservation and got a seat outside on the terrace. Everything was fine until we ordered our drinks and then it was time to order our food. We waited for an absolutely ridiculous 1.5 hours before we finally politely asked the waiter if he had taken our order. After asking how he looked, he came back and said he forgot. Guests who came after us even got their orders... It was outrageous to make us sit there for so long, even though we were clearly visible. We left with empty stomachs. As consolation, we got drinks on the house. I won't be going there for a while, even though we think the food and the atmosphere are great. This was a complete disappointment.

Definitely recommendable. The food and service were very good. Despite a misunderstanding with the order, the manager handled it brilliantly. Perhaps he'll explain things better next time. 🙂 But, as I wrote, everything was perfect. Keep up the good work, we'll be happy to come back if we're in the area again.☺️ It's also worth mentioning that they serve good bread here, not what you'd normally get.

I went today for the first and last time. The rice noodles were completely overcooked, the gyros tasted like you'd get from a doner kebab shop, and all for over 15 euros. I wouldn't recommend it. For that money, I expect quality, not quantity. Go somewhere else and save your money. Cheers!

Food was good. Due to the modular principle, the prices have reached the absolute upper end for the region.

Ordered food there again and picked it up. As always, this worked smoothly. I had to wait a few minutes, but my food arrived hot - it was absolutely worth it to me. The welcome was warm and the service seemed very committed to me. What has to be noted is that it is very loud in the restaurant. I already noticed this during my waiting time. If I were to eat here for more than an hour, my ears would be ringing. The food tasted good, the gyros were very juicy and the calamari and the bifteki were also delicious. Unfortunately, the souvlaki was done and therefore quite tough. To our liking, the garlic potatoes lacked crispiness and also lacked garlic. The tzatziki was also seasoned too mildly. The reason why there is a further star deduction in the end is the price. I found it to be over the price-performance limit, I was just about full from the portion and I have to say clearly that I am critical of the abolition of mixed platters, as this means I can only eat my preferred combination for far too much money.

Good food at a reasonable price. Not cheap but inexpensive. The food is not overly seasoned, as is often the case with Greeks. Just good. Very friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately, the prices have increased significantly here too (at least it feels like), so the salad is only available as an extra and otherwise, not a bargain.

We always do everything perfectly

Full of anticipation, we made it to the Irodion again for a long time. We've always been big fans of the food and friendliness there, but today we were very disappointed...especially with the prices. Apparently a new map has been introduced that no longer has mixed plates. Everything has to be ordered separately. A salad is not included as standard. For example, a simple gyro with garlic potatoes (€13.30) and an additional 3 lamb chops (€13.20) comes to a whopping €26.50 (without salad!) ... with salad (€4.90) it comes to €31.40. The food was good but nothing special. The portion size was normal (rather small by Greek standards). The lamb chops were also tough. For a family of 4, a main course and a drink each can easily cost over €80... without a starter, dessert, etc. However, the service is positive. He is still very polite, attentive and child-friendly. All in all I think it's a shame. We always enjoyed coming, but due to the prices we will unfortunately look for another restaurant in the future.

The restaurant has changed its menu. At the entrance you can still see the old menu, for example with mixed plates. The new card is sold to every guest in the restaurant as a benefit for the guest. Everything is extra on this one. A gyro costs 13 euros, everything else like suflaki has to be paid extra and ordered as well. The side salad also costs an additional 5 euros. Ultimately, it only makes sense to take the money out of the guest's pocket. For a mixed plate you can quickly reach 30 euros. The beer is also outrageous at 4.90. The restaurant will never see me again. Everyone who tries out this concert is no longer there after a year. It will be the same here.

My partner and I happened to drop by today. The service was super pleasant. Not too intrusive, but still trying very hard. We both found the food very tasty too. There's one thing I never thought I'd say about a local, but even the toilets were spacious and clean. If the saying goes, like the toilets, like the kitchen, you don't need to worry here. The next time we're in the area again, it's worth the detour to eat here again.

This has been our favorite Greek restaurant for over 6 years and no one else could come close. In the beginning there was actually always a small ice cream stick to round it off, but this hasn't been available for some time now, which is a shame, but it was ok. What's more disappointing is that the rest has diminished. Of course, we understand that the prices have increased over time, but this wouldn't be a tragedy if the food was still the same. We always eat (62) gyros in Metaxa sauce and garlic potatoes. The dish was otherwise an absolute dream, but unfortunately it's now just way too dry, you actually have to look for the sauce, and it's served way too salty. The salad shrinks more and more and the ingredients it contains become fewer and fewer. You can argue about the garlic potatoes, but of course it can be assumed that there is garlic on them, sometimes perhaps a bit too much. The meat still tastes good and the rest is ok too, but there's no reason for us to go there anymore. Too bad

There were two of us here for dinner. Personally, I ordered gyros with 2x lamb chops and rice as a side dish. Since it's not my first time going to a Greek restaurant, I already had some initial ideas/expectations. Unfortunately, these were not fulfilled. The lamb chops were very tough and I had almost no meat on them. And the tough pieces I had were inedible. The tomato rice was tasteless and not special. In proportion, I had more rice ("side dish") than gyros. Which was very disappointing. The gyros itself could be eaten, but it wasn't enjoyable either. The crowning glory was the salad at the beginning, which in my opinion was very poorly designed and prepared. There weren't even tomatoes inside. There was only a bit of coleslaw, leaf lettuce and hints of peppers to be found. Too bad. The dressing was a third full in the small bowl, so that when the salad was removed it all dripped down. It's a real shame, I expected a lot more for the price, including what was written on the website; It's not "exclusive". I wouldn't have put the bowl with the tzatziki on the plate, but rather served it nicely. What I really have to praise, however, is the wonderful service. All the employees there seemed nice and interested.

The selection of fresh salads is impressive - crunchy vegetables, delicious feta, and the dressings are easy to put together. You can feel the dedication with which the dishes are prepared with every bite. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and you can just taste it. The portions are generous, so don't go home with a growling stomach! The service is so friendly that you almost feel like a VIP. The people at Irodion really know how to pamper guests. We go here regularly with friends, colleagues and even customers. It's just the perfect place to spend time. In summary, Irodion is definitely one of the best restaurants here. Awesome!!! Absolute all-rounder – a fantastic, delicious, and friendly place. We sat there for three hours and, as expected, drank a little too much ouzo. Super delicious food and a very caring chef. We went there with several friends for New Year's dinner. The staff is super nice🧡 The prices for food and drinks are a bit more expensive than others, but still within reason. Since they have a large menu, you can also have a really good selection. Our portions were all large and the meat was also tender👍, some of our friends couldn't quite finish their food and had it packed up to go. It's wheelchair accessible, as you enter the restaurant via a brick ramp, and there's also an accessible restroom. Highly recommended, we'll be back😊😊

We really like Irodion because it's not your average Greek restaurant. There's something special here. The service is super friendly and attentive. Guests are still valued here.

Such a lovely, cozy restaurant. The food was delicious. Especially the meat—everything was freshly prepared. Even the nuggets! We'd love to come back.

We were there for the first time today, and it was a wonderful evening. There were five of us. Very child-friendly. Great food, and the prices were perfectly reasonable. We'd love to come back.

There was a lot going on because of the many Christmas parties. But the three employees who served got along well and the food came quickly. We felt very comfortable and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The noise level in the guest room (music too loud - guests therefore had louder conversations) really stressed me out. I wanted to have a cozy get-together with my family for my big birthday, but that failed. In the women's toilet where the changing table is (baby was tired) the music was even louder than in the guest room. Due to the noise level in the ambience, the restaurant is furnished quite modernly. The food was very good. The staff was understaffed during our stay!!! They ran! Dishes were not cleared away and further drink requests were not requested. If you stopped the running staff (somehow I felt sorry for them), then expressed your wishes, you got it after waiting a bit. It was my first time there and I hope it doesn't always go the way it did that evening. That would be a real shame because the food is very good. They also have a vegan menu.

Great service and super delicious food

Mega tasty, portion size perfect for my taste! Of course, Greek is always a bit more expensive, but it's worth spending an extra two euros here. Really tasty and nice staff. Even if you only come here to eat three or four times a year, you somehow feel welcome and are greeted as if you have known each other forever. Keep it up people :)

The restaurant is rather average. Service OK. The dishes we ordered took more than getting used to! VERY greasy/oily and mostly from a can.

Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with how much the quality has deteriorated since the renovation. Apparently we're not the only ones who see it that way, because the restaurant had more free than occupied seats several times at the best times on the weekend, which would otherwise be unthinkable to appear there without a reservation. It is absolutely understandable that everything has become more expensive, but the quality should remain the same if the prices go up significantly. The meat had no taste, the spicy Metaxa sauce, a thick, tasteless crème fraiche “sauce” and the otherwise incredibly delicious bread was definitely baked from the day before and was still black on the edges. Totally failed for just under €20. The highlight is the 0.5l wine spritzer for just under €11, otherwise the 0.5l wine is priced the same as the spritzer (if you had ordered 0.25l wine + water, it would have been just under €8). The free ouzo is still there, the ice cream for dessert has long since been added. The service, nice, professional but without Heiko the restaurant with all the halls has lost its charm. This review was not written after 1 bad experience but after 4 visits. Too bad.
