I can really recommend the pub. The staff is really cool and always has a good saying. Price-performance ratio definitely fits. In my opinion the food was a bit bland, but you can add more seasoning. But it's better that way than completely spoiled. Therefore full marks in all categories. 😇👍🏻

Very cozy. Friendly service. Information about daily specials that are available in addition to the menu. All I needed for the 5th star was some suitable music. Maybe it will be available this week. So, definitely visit. Well located in terms of transport. Tram station almost on the doorstep.

Almost like in Ireland - great ambience, delicious food, good beer, reasonable prices and attentive service. However, the impression is clouded by the lack of card payment, although this is possible at every snack stand in Ireland.

Very nice staff. The food is tasty and the prices are okay. The menu isn't big, but I still have a hard time choosing because everything sounds delicious. I find it very comfortable when I have a seat with a backrest.

The unfriendliness of the woman behind the bar recently reached a peak again. It doesn't matter how this situation turned out, similar situations can be read about in other reviews. That was definitely the last time I would enter this store, especially with people who had never been there before. It's just embarrassing and you don't seem to need simple friendliness.

Were there on December 30th. Nice bar and delicious food and beer. Actually nice, but the short-haired, middle-aged waitress interrupted the conversation every minute with: "Would you like something else to drink?" followed by a penetrating stare if you didn't answer. Absolutely vibe-shattering. You feel like a caged chicken being forced to lay eggs. Only you have to pay for it.

We were at Paddy Foley's on December 30, 2024, from 5:15 p.m. to around 7:45 p.m. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food tastes delicious. The beer is great. However, the short-haired, middle-aged waitress attracted very negative attention. First I asked for a table for 3 people. She directed me to the uncomfortable little entrance table in an unfriendly tone and said firmly that there were no other tables available. However, there were no reservation cards visible on other tables. When my friends asked, we were allowed to move. I then asked myself why the waitress had initially barked at me in such an unfriendly manner when there were other tables available anyway. Unfortunately, the poor performance of the waitress in question didn't end there: there were four of us. In total we ordered 2 dishes and 6 drinks in the 2.5 hours. My friends ordered more. Nevertheless, the waitress in question with short hair permanently interrupted our conversation and asked if we wanted to reorder. At some point this ended with the waitress telling us the door, arguing that we didn't order enough. I was a waiter myself in a similar location in Tübingen: our table was an average table, the waitress' behavior was not appropriate. The Paddy Foley is a good venue; However, please select the staff carefully and instruct them - especially the waitress in question - to treat guests in a friendly and appropriate manner.

Best Irish Pub in Dresden. Nice wooden atmosphere, the staff are very nice. There is a large selection of beers. From Guinness to Murphys to Hop House, there's a lot on tap. What's particularly great is that it's a very homely, established bar. Because it is located in Striesen there are fewer tourists and it is simply a relaxed atmosphere. The prices are also damn good compared to other Irish pubs!

This is how you imagine an Irish pub to be. Everything is a bit cramped but very cozy, with original Irish beers and delicious food. And the whiskey menu is also long. Absolutely highly recommended.

Rare to find the right atmosphere outside of Ireland. Update. Still one of the best farts. Also better than many farts in Ireland and England themselves. Great beer culture. Always packed, but an extremely peaceful atmosphere and always friendly service. Can't get enough. Unfortunately there are only 5 stars...

Ambience and food were very good. But I was particularly impressed by the friendliness of the ladies in service. We came unplanned with an infant and although the pub was very busy, a quieter place was found for us. That saved our evening. Thank you very much for that!

We were here yesterday on a recommendation and what can I say, we have a new regular pub. We like to go to the other end of Dresden for this. Very tasty food, really nice service staff, the atmosphere was great. We are happy to give 5 stars here 🤩

Been there for the 3rd or 4th time! Really quaint pub and cozy! I think you should pre-order this weekend. House beer "Pint" €4.50 is rarely found in DD. Service was very accommodating and informed us that the food would take about 45 minutes because of a lot of requests...great...that's rare...after 40 minutes he came again and said "food is coming soon men..."... other localities should follow this example! Why only cash payment is left open, but there is a savings bank right opposite...

We ate there three evenings in a row because the complicated teenagers enjoyed it so much. Service was chaotic, but super nice. We had fish & chips, pizza, Guinness beef pie, spaghetti bolo and fajitas. Everything was good and very fresh.

Go to the PUB after dinner? Nooo....not here! To eat at the PUB! Incredibly tasty and completely fair in price. And otherwise you feel like you're in a small family....just feel good.....no problem here! Highly recommended!!!!!

We visited here today. The atmosphere is great and we had a reservation in the pub's beer garden. This is definitely recommended. Personally, I really liked the Murphy's Red beer. 😋 The main courses included the halloumi burger including dip and the Gealic steak. Both were absolutely delicious and we will visit the pub again. We wish everyone who reads this review and decides to visit the pub a pleasant stay and bon appetite. 😊😋

Cool Irish pub and delicious food

Good selection of beers and ciders, even larger selection of whiskeys. Changing offerings are all highly recommended, as are fish and chips, chili con carne and the burgers. This pub is also open on Mondays, but not on Sundays.

Quaint and open late in the evenings. I had a smooth whiskey to end a great Saturday.

Even though it's the only pub in the Strießen area, I have to say it's really great! The interior is extremely cozy, just as you would expect from a small pub. The beer selection is more than satisfactory, and if you want to enjoy a good whiskey, you can get advice from the staff - the selection is impressively diverse. The food here is truly first class, and the menu is updated regularly, ensuring variety. The staff is always quick and extremely friendly - I have never been disappointed here. The pub is always busy so I recommend ordering by phone to ensure you get a seat. Keep it up, you're fantastic!

It's always a dream to spend the evening or day in this pub. From the service staff to the kitchen, it is really very good. The waitress always has a quick comment on her lips without seeming intrusive. The beers all taste great. There is a huge selection of drinks and spirits. Price performance is definitely right. Everyone deserves the 5 stars for this day, but make up your own mind. A little tip on the side: reserve a table. It's full almost every day. You have to know!

Lively place where the locals seem to hang out. We are from America but the waiter spoke enough English to get us through. Food was good! I had shepherds pie and my wife had fish and chips. Shepherds pie was good! Never had it before so have nothing to compare it to. Fish and chips were outstanding! Being from Alaska we think we have plenty of experience to make this comparison. Fries and Fish were both very crispy! Fish was fresh and flaky on the inside. We continue to struggle to find good craft cocktails in Germany thus far. So I had Bushmills and wife had a gin and tonic. Good atmosphere and, food and staff.

Good selection of drinks and good food. But no card payment in 2024 is unacceptable. Apparently there's enough time here to stick nonsense on the front door (cash protects privacy, the climate and some other mental acrobatics that I've put aside, blah blah) instead of just getting a reader. This really spoils the experience here and I will definitely not go here again.

Maybe it’s a lovely pub, but I was looking at the menu pictures and I couldn’t help but notice that on the beer menu, the small pint was labelled as ‘Ladys Pint’. I really hope that this menu is not the current version, as calling something small ‘Ladylike’ was left behind in the last century. I’m sure that we’re capable of doing better nowadays and stop using sexist language. Plus, the spelling in ‘Ladys Pint’ is incorrect, it should be ‘Lady’s Pint’ (please read this last part in Hermione Granger’s voice).

Nice little bar with freshly tapped beer at top prices and a huge whiskey menu where everyone will find something. Service top and always very easy to deal with despite a full house. If you want to disconnect the battery in a moderate manner, this is the right place for you.

The food is great, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. The only disadvantage from my personal point of view is that you can only pay by card.

Unfortunately, I've never actually been to a pub in Ireland, but in Paddys you definitely feel surrounded by a real pub atmosphere. The ladies behind the counter are friendly, the beer is tasty and so is the food 😊

Das Ambiente ist typisch Irish Pub. Die Karte ist gefühlt kleiner geworden, das Essen schmeckt aber wie eh und je. Leckeres Sandwich, Garlic Bread under ein Steak Sandwich od. die Auswahl von 3 Tagesgerichten. Was will man mehr…achja ein Guiness!

So tolles Essen. Tolle Atmosphäre. Super Getränke.

Prinzipiell war der Aufenthalt super. Getränke und Service haben gepasst. Den einen Stern gibt es dafür, dass es im Jahr 2023 immer noch nicht möglich ist hier mit Karte zu bezahlen. Das ist aus meiner Sicht kein fehlender Service sondern schon eine Frechheit. Schade, dass dadurch das Erlebnis hier stark getrübt wurde.

The pub is lovely and they have a great menu but our waitress was extremely rude - kept mixing up orders; when we asked basic questions about the menu, i.e. if it's possible to have a vegan coffee, she couldn't answer them and treated us as if we were trying to be a nuisance; and then had a proper go at us before we left. I'm writing this review because we were having such a nice evening but it came to a very sour ending because of the waitress. I'll avoid going back.

Bester Laden im Umkreis. Budweiser vom Fass gepaart mit dem freundlichsten Personal was ich bis jetzt erlebt habe in der Gastronomie. Komme gern hierher.

Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Irish-Pubs der Stadt ein echter Geheimtipp. Der Gastraum ist vergleichsweise winzig, dadurch stellt sich allerdings eine echte Irish-Pub-Atmosphäre ein! Die Speisen und Getränke sind nichts Besonderes, Pub-Standard eben.

Einer der besten Läden überhaupt. Immer sehr gut besucht, ausgezeichnete Küche mit kleiner und sehr schöner Auswahl. Der Service ist einfach außergewöhnlich gut, immer freundlich und sehr professionell. Eine echte Perle in unserem Viertel. Die Atmosphäre ist auch unerreicht!

Ich bin aus Australien nach Dresden zurück gekommen. Dieser pub erinnert mich stark an das Ambiente da. Wenn man ein gutes Guinness mit lecker Pub in einem gemütlichen Ambiente haben möchte sollte man hier her kommen. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist das es immer sehr voll ist.

Der beste Pub in ganz Dresden. Exzellente Bier- und Whiskeyauswahl, tolle Speisekarte und einfach super Mitarbeiter. Wir lieben es hier und kommen seit Jahren hierher. Achtet drauf, dass man dort nur in bar zahlen kann. Absolute Empfehlung!

Lecker Essen … auch wenn die Speisekarte überschaubar ist … was nicht unbedingt von Nachteil ist… service sehr freundlich und nahbar … Unverständlich allerdings die nicht vorhandene Möglichkeit der Kartenzahlung … auch wenn genau gegenüber ein Geldautomat ist … leider die falsche Bank … und so hat der Geldautomat das Trinkgeld kassiert … schade !!!! Vielleicht kommen wir trotzdem wieder …

The food here was good, the lower rating is due to communication issues that resulted in the wrong beer being served. Would have loved to have tried the house beer.

Nice pub in Dresden. Beer selection's very good. As for the food, my entree was well prepared and delicious (the mushroom sauce was amazing). As for staff, most were very kind and accommodating, but the woman with short, dark hair seemed unhappy to be there (she didn't listen to the beer order and brought the wrong one, in the wrong size; other server quickly made things right). Overall, I would definitely return since the good aspects vastly outweighed the negative.

Ein schöner Abend war es, Wir konnten einen Tag vorher noch 1Tisch bestellen, bloß gut, denn es war sehr voll. Der Burger war mir bisschen zu trocken, geschmacklich gut.

Super Irish Pub im schönen Stadtteil Striesen. Außer das bekannte Guinness Bier kann man hier das super lecker Red Murphy und hunderte Sorten von Whiskeys. Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker und frisch vorbereitet. Sehr zu empfehlen!
