Intermezzo in Berlin

So I can thank Mr Gr. disagree! I go there regularly on my break and have to ask for small portions (of pasta & rice) and the lunch prices are cheap like everywhere else...fish and meat dishes 7-8 euros. Everyone can convince themselves. Some people just aren't fair in their assessment...sad It's a nice canteen with a café feel...my and my colleagues' impression of the company next door 😉 Google doesn't make it easy to update! The Intermezzo-Berlin has been permanently closed since the end of 2023!!!! The current canteen has a different name! Maybe someone can change that

A canteen that has only had a new operator since 2024. Unfortunately, the prices are slightly higher than other canteens in the area. The preparation of the food is also rather average. The meatballs with Balkan-style sauce were nothing more than frozen gypsy dumplings. Hardly anything is cooked fresh here. The staff changes frequently, but is usually quite friendly. The canteen is used by employees of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, but anyone can also access it from outside. Ministry employees receive a small discount. Otherwise, the canteen looks clean from the outside. But I've tried different dishes several times now and haven't really been convinced. Even though there are four different dishes every day, one of them is soup. Conclusion for me you can eat here, but you don't have to. It's enough to have a warm meal in a pinch.

Very friendly staff, inexpensive and good canteen food. Quiet place. Mainly a canteen for the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, but also a nice restaurant for everyone.

Food was subpar two days in a row. Pesto was not homemade. No herbs, pine nuts. Small portion. And the dish tasted of gravy and caraway instead of herbs. Way too greasy for that. Too bad. The (white) cashier at the checkout was extremely unfriendly. Didn't see my ID and made the wrong payment, but wasn't willing (or able) to cancel the amount. Cheeky! Conclusion: below average quality and security an unprofessional cashier. Never again!

Not recommended. Completely overpriced, very small portions and a very unfriendly kitchen cop. Once and never again. Then you can go straight to a real restaurant.

Guter Kaffee, man wird auch sehr schnell bedient.

Essen immer sehr lecker und gut um mal eine Kaffeepause zu machen

Das ist einfach nur ekelhaft - Kartoffel-Spinat-Auflauf mit industriell geschälten und abgepackten Kartoffeln. Diese rochen nicht nur nach Schweinefutter, sondern schmeckten auch so. Mich sehr ihr nicht wieder.

Tolle Auswahl, immer frisch und schmackhaft. Meist relativ voll, was ja aber eher für die Qualität spricht.

Essen optisch nicht sehr ansprechend serviert und sehr Pasta-lastig.
