We had booked a table several weeks ago for an important business meeting. We get there and the place is closed. No one to inform us about this, amateurs!

A lovely restaurant near the Kudamm, but pleasantly quiet. Friendly service, unobtrusive but not particularly attentive. The waiter offered us (four people) a mixed latte appetizer, which was excellent. The bottle of wine for the ladies (Chablis by Bouchard) was okay. The main course was very good according to my friends (we had different dishes), but in my case, it was catastrophically bad. I had tagliolini with black truffle: flambéed at the table in a white sauce, with truffles briefly shaved on top. The pasta was cooked to perfection, but the sauce was a largely spice- and flavorless creamy mush with a slight alcoholic note, and the truffles were dried-out slices, hard and flavorless. €34 for that, even in Berlin, takes some getting used to.

Disappointing, meat was tough, sent back, instead of the wine ordered we received an overly sweet wine, which we sent back.

Food was ok. In fact it was a little better than ok but I felt like the service was lacking. Our waiter wasn’t very helpful or friendly. Also it’s off of a pretty loud street that had a lot of loud cars and motorcycles driving by. I had the pasta with meat and my son had the raviolis. My pasta could have been more flavorful. For dessert we had tiramisu and chocolate gelato. Both of those were pretty good.

Dear Restaurant Team, I would like to share my deep disappointment with my recent visit to your restaurant. A few days ago, I reserved a table for three people by phone. My family and I came hoping for a pleasant evening – unfortunately, our experience was anything but satisfactory. Upon arrival, we had to wait a long time without any staff member noticing or greeting us. When a waiter finally came to us, he did so without a "good evening" or any kind of friendliness – simply holding a list and being very disrespectful. The food also took a long time to arrive, and when it was finally served, it was disappointing in taste and did not meet our expectations at all. Very tasty, we had pasta with salmon, pasta with meat fillet and mushrooms and salad with shrimps and avocado. Tiramisu is very tasty.

Had a great evening here – the atmosphere at the bar was really pleasant. *André* was very friendly and really knows his job. He recommended great drinks and was always attentive despite the hustle and bustle. You can tell he enjoys his job – it really enhanced the whole evening. I would come back just for him.

We had a daily special consisting of soup/salad, linguine with scampi and an espresso for €18.50 per person. The food was very tasty and well presented. What was irritating was a 0.7l bottle of Peligrino mineral water for a whopping €9.00!!!! Does it have to be that way? SHAME

With cool live music and a good mood

Das Abendessen war qualitativ durchschnittlich und preislich hoch. Der Service war eher auf Vergesslichkeit eingestimmt: Bestellte Getränke wurden erst nach mehrmaliger Erinnerung des Kellners serviert.

So we went to this restaurant in July 2021 and I can still remember the positive experience we had. The food was excellent, the staff looked after us very well, the restaurant owner personally asked about our well-being so it couldn't have been better! Relaxed but totally polite staff, we felt super comfortable. We are considering a return visit in the near future!

The best thing was the ambience. Quiet table for 4 people. A bit tight, especially when the neighboring tables are occupied. That's why it's easy to get into conversation. The food was very clear. The pieces of meat looked very lost on the plate, luckily it wasn't that big. But it tasted good. But things are getting better. As a side dish, a small bowl with a potato divided 2cm in the middle, pieces of cauliflower and broccoli, strips of pepper, all about €30 Bringing in a 0.2 liter cola costs €4 And when paying the bill, point out the 10% tip button. Leider war der Service gestern gar nicht gut . Wir haben sehr lange gewartet und am Ende haben die Kellner noch die Gerichte vertauscht , etwas anders und mehr abgerechnet . Und dann mit einem verzogenen Gesicht verabschiedet .

A restaurant that wants more than it can do. The service was not commensurate with the price level and the ambience. We were ignored, complaints were laughed at and not taken seriously. The food (truffle pasta and pasta with mushrooms and fillet) was relatively tasteless. The hefty price of €34 for the truffle pasta is not at all justified - hardly any taste and a small portion. We paid a total of €87 and to date we have never paid more for poor service and inadequate food. We definitely don't understand how Inizio justifies these prices. Never again.

Wir waren spontan 2 Abende hintereinander dort lecker gegessen. Wir hatten Tomatensuppe mit Burrata, Kartoffesuppe mit Trüffel, Vitello Tonato, Spaghetti Agnio Olio mit Scampis, Ravioli , Bandnudeln mit Lachs und zum Nachtisch Pannacotta u Tiramusu. Alles, aber auch wirklich alles mega lecker! Toller Service, vorneweg Oliven, Brot und Olivenöl. Zum Abschluss Limonecello! Toller Service, super gerne wieder!!

If it's not on the menu, they'll make it for you! Where else do you come across this? Exceptionally delicious food. Salmon tartare with mango and avocado, grilled tournedos saignant with spaghetti olio et aiglio, and a fresh pepper sauce. The whole thing is topped off with vanilla ice cream and topped with a hot espresso. I'm not that easy, but now I give this restaurant a big 10!

Pour notre dernière soirée à Berlin ( 25 Décembre) nous voulions dîner à proximité de l'hôtel et nous changer des plats traditionnels Berlinois. Nous avons donc opté pour ce restaurant italien qui avait le mérite d'être ouvert le jour de Noël. Et ce fut une très belle surprise. Le restaurant est spacieux , cosy, très bien agencé et décoré dans élégant style italien. Une belle terrasse chauffée agrémente les lieux. L'acceuil a été très courtois, le service professionnel et stylé ( le personnel est en chemise blanche et grand tablier noir ) avec cette petite touche de nonchalance et de fantaisie bien italienne. Quant à la cuisine, ce fut un régal : raffinée, goûteuse et suffisamment généreuse. Mention spéciale pour la Saltimbocca et les Gnocchis à la truffe. Le vin conseillé fut également très bien ( Lugana blanc ) . Avec en prime le limoncello offert en fin de repas. Signe que l'endroit est authentique : A beaucoup de tables on parlait italien ! A great Italian restaurant a stone's throw from the beautiful Kurfüstendamm avenue. The food is great, true to Italian classics. The Saltimboqua is succulent. Sober and warm decor. Very good atmosphere and impeccable service. The servers are very professional, with that little Italian fantasy as well. We had a very pleasant time.

They are rats, I ate a plate of pasta with salmon strips that were not noticeable, the portion was very small, like babies, the vitello tonnato was horrible, disgusting🤢 I paid a fortune to eat 3 pieces of salmon with pasta.

Amazing restaurant, with great service, phenomenal food and lovely relaxing vibe. We started with some sea fish soup, followed by a sea food appetizer and main course (callamari and prawns) and I would highly recommend each dish I had. This was our second time in Berlin, and both times we visited this place but I will definitely come here again, next time I am in this lovely city.

An absolutely wonderful place, we came here on recommendation, but we didn't expect such a fantastic experience. Fantastic and very nice service, very good steak tartare and absolutely fantastic Chateaubriand program key. There are no words to describe desserts. Be sure to try the Basque cheesecake. Food great, service flop. Waiters at all underground. Menu took 10 minutes. Told the waiter I would pay. He made a note of it, but never came back (and almost all 99% of the guests had already disappeared). After 15 minutes we paid at the bar. Unbelievable.

If you like quality and special food, this is the place for you! Great wine selection and diverse menu. We particularly recommend the mixed appetizer platter.

Chic location. Very friendly staff. But that was it. The quality of the kitchen is below average. I had spaghetti alio olio, chili, shrimp. Extremely hot and only eaten if you had squeezed out the amount of chilies from the handful of pasta. In the future, the cook should at least remove the seeds and bones from the chilies or try them. Furthermore, the dish lacked any finesse. Neither white wine, nor lemon zest or grilled tomatoes. Sad food. We then went around the corner to Da Luca and ate our fill.

Ate there last weekend when we visited Berlin. Cozy restaurant and the service is also very friendly and nice. The food was good, but personally we thought the salmon tasted less good with the sauce they had with it. Tasty separately, but together the salmon did not do justice. We thought that was a shame. The wine choice was again well chosen. The coffee afterwards was also good.

The food is good, but the service resorts to uncharming tricks: a dish is brought that wasn't ordered, it is left standing with the statement "It's on the house because it was our mistake," and then it's added to the bill set because it was eaten. When paying, the guest is also suggested to press the 10% tip symbol instead of giving them the opportunity to decide for themselves how much tip the visit was worth. As a guest, you leave the restaurant feeling like you've been ripped off.

For us one of the best restaurants in Berlin. Always friendly and exclusive service. The food is always perfect. The kitchen is open for special requests. Constantly creative and partly new cuisine. My running group and I came here the night before the Berlin Marathon. We were a party of 8. The waiter was inattentive, didn’t listen, and attempted to upsell us multiple times. We were arm twisted into expensive appetizer platters and were told that they couldn’t glasses of wine, only bottles. Then they showed up with glasses once we said nevermind to alcohol. We had two vegans in our party and the restaurant was not very accommodating, teased them, and made them feel uncomfortable which is not normal for Berlin- a highly vegan friendly city. The waiter continued to push wine throughout the evening that we said no to. Our entrees took over an hour and a half to come out which was problematic for people wanting to call it an early night since they were running early the next day. As an apology for the wait, the waiter tried to push shots of limoncello which we refused since we were all athletes. There was no deduction on the bill to make up for the slow and bad service. The only time of the night that the waiter was attentive was when dropped off the bill which we wanted a moment to review since it was more than expected. While we waited forever for our meals, he couldn’t wait five minutes for us to discuss how we wanted to pay for the rip off mediocre at best food we waited 90 minutes for. Would not recommend this place at all, especially for large groups or for people with dietary restrictions.

We ate there on two evenings and have rarely experienced such a top restaurant, even in Italy. A big compliment to this kitchen and the staff! We can only recommend this restaurant and would love to come back whenever we are in Berlin!

Very personal welcome and care. Fantastic food (Chateau Briand). The restaurant alone would be a reason to visit Berlin again. Above all, I would like to thank the boss personally and his great cuisine.

Avoid at all cost. Unless of course you like rude and inattentive service. We were a group of 7 people, the waiter forgot to take order of some of us. Each course was served so that at least one person had to wait for their food long after everyone else was finished. They forgot two ordered items The staff had never heard of a Moscow Mule. We had to remind about forgotten orders. When delayed orders were served there was not even a hint of apology. One person got almost raw meat as it was cooked in a hurry because the order was forgotten (and it was not a steak). Avoid avoid avoid.

Chique restaurant voor een speciale gelegenheid. De porties zijn precies genoeg, lekkere cocktails en goede bediening. Wel wat duurder dan normale tentjes maar daarom zit het natuurlijk ook in de duurste winkelstraat van Berlijn. Het eten was goed, uitstekend bediend en een goed wijn restaurant. Heel erg aan te raden.

Eat: The food is really good. We were 13 people. We had a starter plate with carpaccio, vitello tonnato, calamari, salmon tartare with avocado and mozzarella with tomatoes. For the main course I had tagliatelle with fillet tips and mushrooms. One colleague had the entrecôte, one had the lamb chops and one had a steak, for example. The food is really good, but I wouldn't give it full marks because the steaks were ordered medium rare but were actually well done. The ribbon noodles were very, very good. As for the starters, the calamari and the salmon tartare were very good. The Vitello Tonnato was just ok and I wouldn't recommend it as much. The carpaccio was also ok, but I wouldn't order it again. Basically very solid, but it seems like you have to know what to order so that you get good food. For dessert there was a mixed platter with tiramisu, panacota, ice cream and something creamy. Panacota is rather bad, but the tiramisu is good. I couldn't identify the creamy one, but it was good too. But I would say that you should stick to the tiramisu because it tasted best and the other deserts we had were rather mediocre. Service: Great service, without question very nice employees. Very accommodating, very polite and, in the typical Italian way, very hospitable. We felt very comfortable there!! Ambiance: So the store looks great. Can be recommended for any occasion. Fine dining fits like a glove here. Wine bottles on the walls and on the shelves that are modern but still stylish. Black furniture that of course creates a nice atmosphere thanks to the white tablecloths. So really well done. Summary: Would definitely recommend the store and go there again and again. We go to the Super Return every year and I can imagine that we will eat here again as a team. But you have to know what you are ordering.

Ich bin Berliner, und in meiner Heimatstadt ist mir schon vieles passiert. Was ich jedoch im Inizio erlebt habe, ließ mich sprachlos. Aber von vorn: Abendessen mit Freunden an einem Sonnabendabend. Wir ahnten nichts Böses, bis ein Kerl auftauchte, der sich anschickte, an dem Abend Livemusik zu bieten. Wir grollten leicht und rollten mit den Augen, hatten wir uns doch auf einen ruhigen Abend mit guter Konversation unter Freunden gefreut. Es geschah, was bei Livemusik immer geschieht. Der Livekünstler drängt einem seine Musik auf, statt dass sie der Untermalung diente. Wir sind fürs Erste leicht genervt. Den anderen Gästen, viele mit osteuropäischem Hintergrund, scheint's jedoch zu gefallen. Die ersten fangen an zu tanzen. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Der Kerl am Mikro bringt das Lokal zum Brodeln. Irgendwann tanzt der ganze Laden ausgelassen und fröhlich, singt beschwingt und aus voller Kehle mit, wedelt mit gesteiften Servietten über den Köpfen. Ein Erlebnis, das wir am Ende nicht haben missen wollen. Ob das regelmäßig so ist, entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis. Unser Abend wurde jedoch unverhofft zu einem Erlebnis der ganz besonderen Art. Unumwunden muss ich das zugeben. Ach ja: Unser Essen war ganz hervorragend, das Personal unaufgesetzt freundlich, der Service prompt.

Der beste Italiener, wo ich bisher war. Top Service, gemütliches Ambiente, gehobenes Niveau, exzellentes Essen. Unbedingt hingehen!

Expected an authentic Italian restaurant but but very disappointed with the quality of the food there. Ordered scaloppine al limone and received 3 pieces of beef medallions in a kind of a red wine sauce of which one tasted of fish, so I returned it. When I informed the staff about it, I was given a verbal apology. Pity, but there are so many good Italian options in Berlin...

We chose here on a whim , as they had rack of lamb. Wow, what a joyous experience. Great service. Attentive without being clinging and seeking approval. The food was delightful, from the first bite of the starter to the last morsel of desert. The wine... we've never had better wine by the glass. Ever. in 30 years of dining out. This matters. These little things. The singer (we had no idea we were getting a show and a meal) was such a surprising bundle of lovely. A truly excellent vocalist and performer. They had my favorite Japense whiskey to end the evening. We are heading straight back next week.

Under its first owner it was one of our favorite restaurants in Berlin. After the change of ownership we were there for the third time. Another pure nuisance! The food is ok except for mistakes that can happen. However, the miserable, inattentive and unprofessional service is a disaster that ruins the best meal and also the evening. It's a shame about the place. Never again!!!

Absolutely amazing restaurant!! Top notch food, service (especially servers: Angelo and Radik - ask to sit in their section). The owner doesn't speak English and was not very welcoming. But everything else was a fantastic experience. Gelato Yogurt Pafait with fresh strawberries, edible gold leaf, and Bailey's was a refreshing ending to an incredible meal! Tiramisu was also very tasty.

Went to a Bday there and it was ok. We specifically came because the bday person loved the singer that was performing that evening, otherwise we wouldn’t have come. While the entertainment was great, the food was abysmal. We had the pasta with beef filet (was a special that night), tartar, carpaccio and couple small things. Considering that you pay almost 20€ per dish, the dishes tasted worse than pasta in a box for 5€. The filet was like shoe rubber and barley chewable. The carpaccio had a weird aftertaste. The only good thing was the beef tartar. This place is good if you like live music, but it’s not a good destination. Taking the prices into consideration, it’s a huge rip off.
