Beautiful location, but disappointing value for money The Fasanerie Aschaffenburg initially scores points with its very attractive, rustic rooms. The partially partitioned areas are particularly pleasant and well-suited for more private events. Unfortunately, for me, the positive aspects largely end there. In my opinion, the value for money is completely unacceptable. For example: The surcharge for the Kochkäse schnitzel (around €15.50) is €3.00–€3.50. For this, you only receive a small dollop of Kochkäse, not even baked. The side salad adds another €6.90, so in the end, you pay well over €25 for a rather small Kochkäse schnitzel. The portion simply doesn't justify this price. This example is representative of several dishes. There were also unpleasant experiences with the drinks: First, a dirty glass was served – that can happen. However, the accompanying bottle was also moldy on the outside. I understand the need for service in principle, but to simply present it to the guest at the table during the meal strikes me as unacceptable. The service also seemed inconsistent: We were approached very frequently at the beginning, but during the meal – precisely when we wanted another drink – no one came by. Overall, a real shame. The Fasanerie is sadly not what it used to be.

Excellent food. Not your average Italian restaurant. We were invited to a birthday party in the winter garden. Everything went perfectly. Friendly service. It's worth it, and we'll definitely be back.

Despite having a table reservation, I was turned away – a total disappointment. I won't be coming back. The staff were too incompetent to write down the correct date, and then you just get a silly "sorry."

Super delicious food, very generous portions, and very friendly owners. Definitely worth a visit!
