Hello... At first I didn't want to write a review, but I can't help myself... 🙈 We were there in the evening, around 5 pm, and as soon as we walked in I almost tripped over the first German Shepherd, which was half under the table with its rear end right in the way. But there were three other large dogs inside. I like animals, but I think in a restaurant... just not acceptable... Sorry. Then the server seemed a bit overwhelmed taking our order, and they forgot to bring the salad... One breaded schnitzel for €15... PLUS €3.50 for a little bit of hunter's sauce... 👍 And with too few fries, or even the fried potatoes... My conclusion... Far too small portions, but ridiculously overpriced... And free dog hair thrown in... Unfortunately, I can't recommend it, and I won't be setting foot there again.

The seating is very pleasant, the food is truly delicious. The cooked cheese and the accompanying bread are a poem! Something I noticed last time, and which surprised me a lot, is that the card readers now have a tipping option. But what's the tip for? There's no service at all; you go to the counter, order, and pay, and get your own drinks and food. Of course, you can choose not to tip, but in return, you get the "Are you stingy?" feeling (as I said, that would be the only thing you get served). I find it annoying when I'm expected to tip everyone who's just doing their job. I can't leave anymore, because I only get my salary without tips.

No. The beer garden was full. One cash register was occupied. And the cashier was completely overwhelmed. It caused a cash register blockage. After a third person arrived, the cash register was working again. The first cash register was then occupied. A 15-minute wait. Completely unacceptable considering the prices are self-imposed. Better to go to the Zeughaus.

The owner has changed, and there's still room for improvement. The food is too expensive, and the wait time is long. We used to love going there, which is a shame!

Unfortunately, nothing special (the schnitzels were all dry and lacked flavor), coupled with endless wait times. The price/performance ratio isn't good here. Drinks (non-alcoholic, except for water) are only available in 0.33l containers. I used to really enjoy coming here. Unfortunately, not anymore.

Food was decent..finally got the bratwurst I was craving. The live music was cool.

We were a party of 20 people booked. No tables were prepared. The staff were very unfriendly and inattentive. The menu was meager (e.g., no fish). Some just wanted a drink and were practically pressured into ordering food. Since the change of management, it's been a no-go. We won't be coming back next year. It's a shame, given the lovely ambiance.

It's unbelievable what I experienced again. Now I also know the name of the person in question, who truly—there's no other way to put it—behaved rudely towards the guest. I was "asked" in a commanding tone to get the food (the beeper's battery was apparently dead, and I didn't know the dish was ready). Regina was so rude that even the guests at the next table reacted. And they gave me their phone number in case Regina distorted the facts. And she did when I spoke to her again. Now, since Regina is apparently in some kind of boss position, as she wants to imply, and I get absolutely no information otherwise, she can behave however she pleases. HEART and hops? No, that name isn't appropriate here. But those who lack self-knowledge probably need a little more time. What do I wish for you—Regina? To meet someone like YOU! With me, several more people are now out of the question as guests for you in the future. It may not be significant, but with this kind of "behavior," we couldn't enjoy the food any more. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Once again, we experienced rude information at the cashier!!! Receiving such an annoyed response to a question is absolutely unacceptable. And then calling after us that we could go to another beer garden is also beyond words!!! As I said: Not for the first time!!! And if I may mention this: At the next table, the behavior itself was also noticeable: the unfriendliness evident in their facial expressions. It goes without saying that you should choose those establishments where friendly behavior and a smile are a given. And that wasn't the case here.

What we had to experience here today is truly unbelievable...we received a €50 voucher for Christmas...wanted to redeem it today...unfortunately, that's no longer possible??? Because apparently a new "owner" will be in charge starting in March? You can't just issue vouchers in December at will, knowing that insolvency is imminent.... There were other guests there at the same time as us who had the same experience as us. I'll inquire about whether and how this can be handled...

Very nice inn and a great beer garden. Price-performance is great and there is something for everyone! You feel warmly welcome here and the unique service rounds off the fantastic food.

After a few weeks of abstinence from the Fasanerie beer garden, I gave it another try today, unfortunately. The chicken was, with a lot of goodwill, considered cooked, but anything but crispy, and definitely pretty tasteless. I've rarely experienced such wobbly chicken skin and left it lying around. My wife had a side salad, although it was more of a salad. Forget the colorful leaf salads, it was almost all lettuce. And the selection of vegetable salads was very limited. Well, it was almost a bargain for €6.50. But at least the former tenant adopted the falafel spelling with a special twist, so falaffel. Just a little joke, but otherwise it wasn't funny.

I don't recommend the food at the restaurant. The roast beef tasted reheated, and the chicken was still raw inside. The skin wasn't crispy at all, but rather completely soft. They tried to disguise it with pre-cooked fried onions. It's a shame, because the location is beautiful, but the chef doesn't seem to be having any fun.

The food is okay and the location is nice, albeit very renovated with ugly fences. Unfortunately, the beer garden's concept is entirely self-service. This may be less staff-intensive, but it's really annoying because, even on predictably busy days, sometimes only one cash register is manned. With several hundred seats, that's simply not enough, so you end up waiting in line for a long time. The system is also so confusing that the cashiers have to explain it to the guests, which further slows things down. I would also like to clarify that the staff was always friendly and professional within their capabilities. The problem is the concept and the lack of people overall. Better to walk a few meters further up the hill; there's a better beer garden there.

The most beautiful beer garden in Aschaffenburg. Depending on the day of the week, hot food stops serving after 7 or 8 p.m. The menu is small and now reduced. If you come often, you're confused as to what to eat. And I'm not ready to pay €13.40 for a currywurst with fries. The staff is friendly and pleasant. At peak times, there are long waits at the cash register and for drinks.

We've been going to the beer garden for years; it's a lovely place with generally good food, everything delicious. But unfortunately, it's not always at the same level. During the summer holidays, we noticed again that the food is prepared differently this time. The quality isn't as good as usual. Fries, meat, everything is different. Chicken, too. Different people are always involved in serving and preparing the food. Consistent quality at all times would be very desirable.

We were there yesterday. 1. I find it awful that you have to queue at various points. If you go with two people, one person has to wait forever for the other to come back from the checkout and the drinks stand. 2. The chicken was truly awful. Quickly warmed up in the fryer and so dry. I could barely swallow it. For the price, it's a disgrace.

We've been here several times with a group of 20 and have always been satisfied. But with the change of management, things have gone downhill considerably. No table selection (we had to do that, the staff oversees it). The menu is poor (no fish), and the staff are slow and unfriendly. We won't be holding our reunion here next year. It's a shame for such a beautiful location.

Fasanerie Beer Garden – Summer Evening Happiness Under Old Trees A wonderful place to end the day! We were there with friends for dinner – and thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite the busy crowd, there was plenty of space, and the atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and simply wonderfully summery. A real highlight was the live music – atmospheric but not too loud, just right for a balmy evening under the stars. While we enjoyed the food and the company, the children were able to let off steam in the adjacent playground – a huge advantage for families! The food arrived quickly, was fresh, and delicious. Particularly noteworthy: the oven-fresh bread – crispy, hearty, and obviously locally sourced. So simple, yet so good! In conclusion: A place where you'll enjoy spending time – whether with family, friends, or just for fun. We'll be back – at the very latest on the next warm evening in Aschaffenburg!

Great food and a lovely beer garden. However, you have to wait in line to checkout, then for drinks, and then for food. If you run out of drinks while eating, you have to go back to the checkout and then to the drinks counter. By then, the food is cold. For me, this concept is a reason not to come back.

We only had a drink in the self-service beer garden. There was plenty of shade. We'd be happy to go again!

The schnitzels on offer are pre-made wholesale products, probably made from pressed meat (not real meat), and tasteless! A small cube of butter on the dry bread would benefit the sausage salad, and it wouldn't make the Bantschow family any poorer! All in all, it's just a visit for a beer – eat somewhere else!

What's going on here! I've waited a long time to change my review, given the current situation at the beer garden in the Fasanerie. Somehow I don't understand it... or maybe my head just doesn't want to comprehend it... About 5-6 weeks ago, we arrived as hungry guests, and then we were told that no food was currently being sold due to the large number of white receipts (excuse me... we wanted plucked sausages with bread and three employees in the food hut) 🙈 Two weeks ago, a similar experience. We arrived at the beer garden at 6:55 p.m. and were hungry. Oh - sound... there's nothing left to eat, the kitchen is closed from 7:00 p.m. 🙈 (a beer garden without food at 7:00 p.m.! - pretzels at least?) And yesterday, the crowning glory... the beer garden was only 20-30% full. We ordered our food... and waited... waited... waited. There are a lot of staff milling around in the beer garden... there's always someone else at the cash register. And now come on... no food is being served, and there are pagers on many tables, which even a guest notices when they call. Solution: The printer in the food hut is out of paper 🙈🙈🙈 And one thing is also clear: this isn't the staff's fault... it's management that's somehow not working. Prices are still OK, service is mostly student-like, requiring a lot of patience at times, and the quality of the food is sometimes outstanding, e.g., bread and bratwurst. Cell phone reception is terrible, so you can't work here - but nobody else cares. That's forbidden in beer gardens in Bavaria anyway 🤣

It's great that it's even open. It's not a given. It took 10 minutes to order. Then another 3 minutes for the beer. And then we waited 15 minutes for a bowl of fries. The beer was already gone. The restaurant crisis of 2025

The evening restaurant is highly recommended. The food there is amazing. Very good and affordable. The beer garden is OK. There are about 1,000 seats available. It's self-service.

Family reunion with 30 people - great service, great food (extra praise for the homemade cakes!), lovely ambiance, and even a special corner in the beer garden for the group photo ;-).

We went to the beer garden for drinks on a Monday morning. The ambiance and drink prices were very nice and reasonable. I only have to agree with the previous comments regarding the service: you get rudely scolded if you politely ask where to order. Restrooms aren't clearly signposted, and you're rudely thrown out of the bar if you look for them. Wasted potential in a very nice beer garden.

A very nice beer garden in the heart of Aschaffenburg. The beer garden is located in the middle of a small forest, which invites you to take a stroll before stopping in. The self-service is quick and easy. You buy a voucher and then pick up your drink or food directly from the counter. Card payments are accepted. The quality of the food is excellent, but the prices are a bit on the high side. The beer garden is usually very busy when the weather is nice, but you can usually find a spot. Parking is available, and bicycle storage is also offered.

I always enjoy coming here. I don't know of any other beer garden that even offers wet wipes with the napkins. The food is always delicious. A nice place to relax.

Strange organization, poor information about where to get the drink vouchers, and the cash register staff a bit overwhelmed. We then took the receipt to the drinks counter. That worked out great. The food was delicious. Friendly staff at the food counter.

We came especially with colleagues after work. We couldn't get anything for dinner after 7 p.m. (14.5) because the cashier apparently doesn't record the meal vouchers in the beer garden. 🤯 Well, when the very friendly young employee told us this and wanted to ask the boss again what to do, she stormed over in a very brisk manner and reprimanded her employee in front of us 🫣. So we stayed hungry that evening. At the end of the day, the boss told us that we should finish our drinks, but the gas station still had 👍🏻 very, very unpleasant.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The food was cold, and we waited an hour. The chicken didn't taste good. We're used to it. Yes, the beer garden was busy, and the line at the cash register and bar was terribly long. I've seen it differently, despite the crowds.

Ambience and location are great. The park with the playground next to it is great and you can go for a walk here. The food was also good, especially the salad with the dressing. When we were there, there was a bit of a lack of service staff and there were waiting times. But still recommended with the beautiful beer garden. Maybe I can make it to one of the events.

We were there on May 1st and I would like to give some basic food for thought: Putting people at the checkout on a day like this who are absolutely not up to the situation creates anger and frustration in the long term. Waiting over 2 hours for a goulash and over an hour for a cooked cheese is also a disaster. Many tables were unoccupied because there were no umbrellas. If you can afford that, you don't have to be surprised if people leave the place in a rage. It's a shame for the actually beautiful beer garden.

Flat Pinot Blanc is advertised on the menu for €22.90. At the checkout you will immediately be asked what price is written on the checkout. This turns out that the host is asking €35.90 for the wine. If you then insist on the price, you can buy any other bottled wine except that!!! For a supposedly professional restaurateur, an absolute “no go”! Not just deductions in the B grade!

Very nice beer garden and nice restaurant. There is also a good selection of vegan dishes here. Of course, this could be a little bigger. You don't have to wait too long for your food either.

Overall we were very happy with the food and the service. However, when we went to pay and wanted to redeem a voucher, we were told that they were very accommodating, but that they could no longer accept this 2-year-old voucher. The reason we were told was a new name. I can understand if they hadn't accepted the full amount, for me that is the definition of accommodating.

Stopped in full of joy for cool drinks and solid food... and disappointed. Service staff seems tense and overworked, cash register processing is ok, but there is no indication of a longer waiting time for food. Drinks by self-service were ok at the time, then there was a waiting time that was unacceptable. Simple dishes (schnitzel with fries and New Zealand red cabbage salad with falafel) that took over 40 minutes to wait. Quality well, fries good. Falafel balls completely hard, dish overall not convincing, schnitzel average - where is the quality and standard of good food from last year? It's Saturday (April 12, 2025, 6 p.m.), good weather is forecast, the beer garden is about 50% full and yet it's stalled. The processes are still not up to date (why can't you order via the app at the seat - saves waiting times at 3 stations) and when it comes to eating -> you'd rather go for the classics, but then in good quality and FAST. It's a shame, but apart from a cold drink, there are no more visits allowed as long as the current status quo doesn't change. Men's toilet...no soap, no towels, it smells unpleasant. In addition! When the pagers are taken back in the kitchen, please do not do so with the gloves that are also worn in the kitchen for dishes! Hygiene seems more so-so in the open kitchen (floor).

The beer garden has lost a lot, staff is overwhelmed and poorly organized. Waited 1.5 hours for the fairly simple meal (two currywurst with fries). Then the sausage was only lukewarm and had definitely been on the grill for too long. The tables weren't cleared away and you were lucky to get a small, clean spot somewhere. We were very annoyed and will no longer visit this beer garden.

A wonderful beer garden straight out of a (Bavarian) picture book. Almdudler-Radler is a combination that we didn't know before, but can definitely recommend. We'd love to come back!

Actually a nice beer garden. But this season it's not like before. At the beginning of March, operations were not yet well-established and there were waiting times of over an hour when we visited. Today we are back again. Arrived at 6:05 p.m. At 7:05 p.m. we finally received drinks and food. The food was a disappointment for us. According to the menu, the salad comes with “home-baked focaccia” and there are 2 brown breads on the plate. Dissatisfaction has also spread at neighboring tables because of the waiting times.

Way too long of a wait! Although the beer garden is only half full, we waited an hour for food... The queue at the checkout was also far too long, we waited 20 minutes before we could even place the order.

Very nice beer garden that invites you to linger. But you have to take advantage of this because you easily have to wait more than 90 minutes for your food. I found the prices to be on the higher end for a beer garden, especially for the vegetarian dishes. €13.90 for a handful of cheese spaetzle in a small bowl. For €14.90 you get a hearty schnitzel with fries. Unfortunately, the ingredients on the menu are more of an indicator and not what actually ends up on the plate. Instead of home-baked foccacia, two slices of brown bread sometimes find their way onto the plate. Unfortunately, our beetroot salad was not allowed to taste walnuts. Don't get me wrong, the food is tasty, but for the price I expect that at least everything on the menu will find its way onto my plate. The Haxxe is welcome to last a moment longer, but I would like to be warned if we are talking about well beyond an hour here...

Start of the season and not all huts are open yet - but the sun has been shining for days. The lady at the checkout is more than unfriendly - she takes out her bad mood on the customers without inhibition. Food is good, location too. But being yelled at several times for no reason at the checkout ruins the visit...

I have to say, the first time I was there was much better and today I have invited my family. Wasn't nice waiting for food over 35 :(

Actually very nice. It is advertised as having a beautiful beer garden in winter, which is also fitting. Today in the beer garden the most beautiful winter weather but the tables and benches are wet, it wouldn't be a big effort to run through with a cloth or squeegee. There are four fire barrels that were all out and freezing cold so it wasn't really nice or comfortable. After After 3 COLD drinks we went in and warmed up and consumed something inside and asked if anyone would come and look at the fire could and we were told that all the barrels would burn again. We went out again afterwards and all the bins were still out and cold. We decided not to have another drink and then left.

Im Restaurant im Vergleich zu unseren schönen Biergarten-Besuchen ein glatter Reinfall. Flammkuchen war nicht durchgebacken, Knödelvariation war in brauner Masse wenig ansprechend und lieblos auf dem Teller, Friteusenschnitzel trocken und geschmacklos, der dazu gereichte Kartoffelsalat ebenso unerfreulich, bestehend aus halbrohen Kartoffeln, Marinade nicht zu schmecken, dafür eiskalt serviert, m.E. kaum zum Verzehr geeignet. Bewertung: weit unter Mittelklasse!

Went to the pheasantry for the first time today and were totally impressed. The service was friendly and on the ball, the food was delicious, the daily special was good value for money, the espresso was great... we'll be back. Nice large beer garden where we sat inside. Rustically furnished, but it fits 😉
