Himmlicher Genuß! Wir hatten ein Thali für zwei Personen. Jede, der angebotenen Speisen war hervorragend gewürzt, sehr gut bekömmlich und wohlschmeckend. Der Service war außerordentlich freundlich uns zuvorkommend. Etwas schlecht zu finden ist momentan der Eingang aufgrund von Straßenarbeiten. Der Zugang ist zur Zeit rechts. Wir kommen bald wieder! Vielen Dank.

I stayed at a hotel right in front of this restaurant, so I went to this restaurant for dinner. Ordered naan, vegetable curry, and white wine. For some reason, rice also came with the dish, and I carefully set aside some of the rice on the plate. I thought it was strange, but thought it was included with the curry and left it as is. I didn't eat rice at all because naan was enough, but when I paid the bill, the price of rice had been added by 8.5 euros. The only bad memory from my trip to Europe

Maybe we were just unlucky, but during our visit the service was unfriendly, lazy, slow (waiting time was over 45 minutes for the main course) and unfortunately the taste of the dishes wasn't convincing either (spicy not spicy, Chana dish quite oily). Should it be at the If things go differently next time, this post will be edited accordingly.

Yesterday we ordered the food to be delivered and it was very tasty, although it was a bit late as I found the Lemme shop was always well attended, and the food we ate in the shop with company was always delicious.

I'm not a guy who writes reviews very often, but I've visited the Taj at least 20 times, and it's about time I recognise their amazing cuisine. My 'go-to' dine-out when I visit Munich. As a frequent patron of the Taj, I would highly recommend sampling their exquisite dishes. If you can't go to India, bring the Taj Mahal to you!

The food arrived about 45 minutes late. The portions were very small, one dish (the thali) looked like we only got half a portion. The delivery fee was quite high. The pappadams were completely crumbled. The taste of the stews was good.

The three of us ordered very hungry. The dishes were well reviewed and the price led to high expectations. They could not be fulfilled. It was boring, portions too small, too few ingredients, no discernible seasoning. Really didn't appeal to any of us. At just under €20 per person for the main course + Nan, it's a joke.

Went there for dinner with friends last night. We had Mutton Kashmiri, Taj Mahal Teller, Kadai Ghosht, Paneer Kulcha, Peshawari Nan, Lassi, Chai and Gulaab Jaamun. Authentic food. One of the few Indian places where all the sauces DO NOT taste the same. Very friendly staff and a nice ambience. Do visit the place!! Had dinner here again a few days ago with two friends of mine. The food is very flavorful. We tried some new dishes again. Everything is really good, good ambience, extremely polite staff. Kadai ghosht and naan taste absolutely like home. Until next time! :)

Good and authentic Indian food! Very few restaurants with many options and varieties

The butter chicken here has a unique flavour very tasty and the color of the food is very natural

The naan was so chewy, it was like eating rubber and My butter chicken looked like a bowl of orange soup. Very unappealing.

We walked past the restaurant by chance and decided to go there. The restaurant is stylishly furnished and the music played in the background at just the right volume so that you could still have a good conversation without having to shout. The operators were very quick, friendly, constantly showed attention and were very accommodating. The food came quickly and was very convincing and incredibly tasty. The whole stay was very pleasant and we received exceptionally good service. 10/10 we would come here again. Thank you for the great experience!

They had catered a buffet for Indian food. The place was bit congested to handle a group of 50 people which was arranged by the reputed and international travelling agency. One had to stand in a queue to fetch the main plate and the same to get food. It should be arranged for more counters to caters to the tourists.

I can only speak about the outside area, but I + one other person sat there very pleasantly. The food was good and there was a lot of it, unfortunately the waiter didn't speak German very well, but we could understand each other. Overall, a nice visit at fair prices

Many food items are available but almost all the curries are having similar taste and some sweetness is there . As far as I have tasted I have never tasted a beef curry with sweetness and I had that from here. Taste wise masala tea was okay but that too was not hot... overall a very bad experience with the food and with the service the time taken is also very long.

You're welcome to eat on site, but just don't order - neither for delivery nor for collection. I've been waiting for almost an hour and every 5 minutes I'm told there's a lot going on today. Unfortunately not the first time ☹️

It's not for Indian people and suggest Indian people not to try food in this restaurant as all foods were so sweet. best dessert award goes to beef masala (that much sweetness). Felt so much regretted after having dinner here

Food is good. We reqested to prepare the ordered food in indian style and the food was in fact prepared in indian style. Unfortunately we ordered biryani which was good but the quantity was too small.

Had a wonderful experience tonight at the restaurant. I was with my 2 friends. With their welcoming nature; staffs made us full with stomach as well as with their caring and approaching nature. We had veg and Taj Mahal thalis. Food was tasty. Especially naan was real good. Overall...best for any time meal. We were handled by Mr. Junaid. Must recommend to go there to all (especially desi's) to have a wonderful experience.

The ambience is typically "Indian", the service was ordinary, but friendly and nice. They could speak poorly German. The food was really delicious and the portions big enough, in a normal price range.

Highly Recommended! Nice authentic restaurant with a small beer garden. There were two of us there and we got a seat straight away without a reservation. We ordered the Indian garlic soup, garlic naan, vegetarian thali and the Taj Majal thali. Everything really delicious across the board! We were also briefly explained what was in each bowl. There was also naan, raita, a small salad and of course rice. Price/performance ratio is perfectly fine, we would come again!

Went out with colleagues for lunch. The Thali non-veg order that most of us requested was exceptional. The food was piping hot and the naan bread soft and delectable.

MEGA The food is always delicious and arrives quickly! We've been there twice for lunch this week! There is always soup as a starter and a chai tea on the house to say goodbye! Recommended are M2,3,5,10,11 and the naan! There is a flat rate for rice! We are happy every time ❤️ Lots of love going out!

All over a very sub-par dining experience. Our entrees (Butter Chicken & Chicken Tikka) were greasy and just very bland, not spicy at all. The appetizer was very standard. The waiter was harsh and not pleasant the entire time, and the atmosphere also just doesn’t match the price. There‘s a ton of better options in Munich that are either more reasonably priced or better in taste. Not coming back here.

Somewhat dark location, starter for 2 people consists of 6 meat bites and salad, for which you spend 15 euros. The meat/vegetable portions for the main courses and naan bread are already small, and far too much rice is served. Unfortunately the price/performance is weak

Food is really authentic as per Indian Style. Do try Chicken Biryani. Service is fabulous and staff always welcome with great warmth. Whenever I’ll visit Munich next time Taj Mahal is going to be on my list.

We ordered food. Considering that the Taj Mahal is 20 minutes away from us by car, delivery was quick (60 minutes on Easter Monday). They were very friendly and the food was delicious!

We visited the restaurant a year ago and it was really great. That's why we thought to come here again but unfortunately it was disappointing. We ordered chicken tikka and fish tikka again, however the portions were smaller than before and I think the prices were increased. Additionally, the smell in the restaurant was unpleasant and strong. Still, the dishes were delicious and I was happy with them.

Good Indian food, in a somewhat cramped atmosphere. Large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Service is a bit rough at times, but courteous and attentive. We were in a larger group and the waiter still knew who ordered what and brought all the food at the same time. We had a very nice evening.

Everything was great, we were on the go and ordered by phone...we were hungry. Food was ready when we arrived. ...6th, very late at night. 10:30 p.m. Everyone was very friendly... candles and roses on the table... and it was delicious too.

Everyone, be sure to order the bindi masala and garlic naan here. Even these days, lunch only costs 8,40 euros. First of all, this is one of the most delicious bindi masala restaurants in Munich 👍

Once again were we in München and went again to Taj Mahal. We ate Vindaloo as always, and it was wonderful. Great service, great ambient, great food. Just love it. Too bad they left our Weiden.

I strongly recommend the "Taj-Mahal dish for 2 people", you can try around 7 main dishes + rice + drinks + desserts + coffee or tea for a super price! 👌 💜 definitely coming back.

Die Toiletten sind zwischenzeitlich so abgewanzt, dass jede Bahnhofstoilette besser ist. Innen müsste auch mal renoviert werden. Personal unhöflich und mein Essen haben einfach die Gewürze gefehlt. Einfach geschmacksneutral. Von den Freunden war das essen besser.

Toller Service, angenehmes eher vornehmes Ambiente, hervorragende Küche, besonders die Tandoori-Spezialitäten, alles bestens. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

My favorite Indian restaurant in Germany. Go to this restaurant if you want authentic Indian fare not compromised for any other palatte and one of very few places who understand spicy does not mean hot - they know how to make heat balanced with other dimensions. We had their veg thali and got to taste amazing dishes just like back in India.

Nie wieder gehe ich in das Restaurant! Ich war in ganz Europa so oft indisch essen, so eine Frechheit hab ich nie gesehen! Ich stamme selbst aus Südindien, also weiss ich wovon ich da schreibe!!!

I ordered food by uber, food was fresh, delicious but I have to say that the price was more on the expensive side for the quality of food. And some items were confused like delivered paratha then naan, the portion of Keema naan was bit smaller.
