India Tandoori Haus in Monheim am Rhein

This used to be a really delicious Indian restaurant. At some point, more and more kebab shop food appeared on the menu, and a "Halal" sticker was put on the door. The food is really bad. Watery, flavorless sauces for the Indian dishes, the doner kebab plate for 11.90... see for yourself. Chicken, which had been refried or deep-fried countless times, was drizzled over the fries, salad, barely any dressing, and the "tzatziki," which I consider the same salad dressing/dressing, was poured over the mini portion of fries, which absorbed the dressing. Disgusting mush. Inedible! What looked like over-fried mozzarella sticks was the "paneer in crispy chickpea batter" for 7.90. The cheese tasted tough and old, and the breading had also been fried several times, and it wasn't crispy anymore because it would eventually soak up the fat. Inedible, we had to throw it away. We hope that what we tried didn't cause any stomach/intestinal problems. It's a shame, though; it was our last time here.

The food is really good; we always eat butter chicken and mango curry. The food always arrives hot, and delivery is quick.

I bought a kebab... I threw it away. It was full of cabbage. Almost no meat. Tasteless.

We are absolutely disappointed! We ordered food, and what we got was a disaster. The doner kebab plate was completely lacking in sauce, the salad was completely dry and inedible, and the fries had no salt at all – tasteless and poorly prepared! 🤢 This is unacceptable! We will never order from here again and strongly advise against it!

The Butter Chicken was simply unbeatable from February to the end of 2022 – perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of spice and a wonderful balance of seasonings. It truly was the best Butter Chicken around! Unfortunately, things have changed drastically since 2023. I've tried ordering it again several times, but each time I've been disappointed. The aroma, the texture, the taste – it just lacks the magic it used to have. The last few times, it's just been a tomato cream sauce. I sincerely hope it returns to its former quality, because the potential is definitely there!

It's absolutely uncomfortable to sit there. A lot packed so that a lot can be delivered. The convenience of local customers is then disadvantaged. The tables were also greasy. The naan bread is good, as is the vegetarian wrap, but we also had a mango curry and it tasted like spoonfuls of sugar had been thrown in there. Just sweet with no other taste. The price-performance ratio was not appropriate.

Good evening, First of all - this store deserves 0 stars. Today's order from us (doner kebab, pizza rolls and fries) was absolutely outrageous! The kebab was so tiny that you could eat it in three bites. The fries were soggy and cold. The pizza rolls were ok (but nothing more) and the wrong dip was delivered with them. I tried to communicate over the phone, but unfortunately the employee wasn't customer friendly either. He didn't offer me any compensation, not even an apology. He just told me that the boss would get in touch with me straight away - which didn't happen. So .. definitely DO NOT order here!!!!!!

A halal restaurant consisting of Afghan and Pakistani workers. To be honest, the food is amazing and the cleanliness is not a mistake. Blessed be the Rajman.

A real challenge in terms of taste, something new... you can't say anything about the staff being nice, but the prices... well... but the sanitary facilities don't work at all... If we had seen that before, I wouldn't have eaten anything there... .

Wir haben früher sehr gerne bei Spicy & Tandoori bestellt. Mittlerweile hat die Qualität des Essens deutlich nachgelassen - weniger Geschmack und die Konsistenz inzwischen eher wässrig (Chicken Tikka Masala/ Butter Chicken). Die Portionen sind kleiner und teuerer geworden. Ingesamt einfach absteigend. Schade!

Das Butterchicken ist das Beste was ich je gegessen habe! Die Soße ist mega Cremig und das Hähnchen super zart. Auch das Knoblauch Naan Brot ist der Wahsinn. Die Lieferung ist meist sehr zügig. Mittags gibt es sogar extra Angebote, wo viele ein paar Euro günstiger ist.

Das Essen war mal exzellent. Mittlerweile kommt es mir so vor als würden die Soßen gestreckt werden. Ziemlich wässrig und fad. Auch das Brot ist nicht mehr so gut. Kann immer mal vorkommen, aber es war nun das dritte mal in Folge nicht so gut.
