Der India Club unter der Leitung von Denis ist meiner Meinung nach eines der besten Indischen Restaurants in Berlin. An bester Lage neben der Amerikanischen Botschaft und auf der Rückseite des Adlons gelegen wird hier die indische Küche voller Leidenschaft gelebt. Das Butter Chicken war wieder Mal ein Gedicht. Preisleistung ist einfach Top. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend.

El maître d'hôtel / Oberkellner nos informó con confianza del chef y el personal de cocina que prepara auténticos platos del norte de la India. Bueno, si nuestra cena fue auténtica entonces soy el Presidente de la India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu! ¿Quizás vivir un poco del año en el norte de la India, estar casado con una india y cocinar platos regionales indios ha sesgado mis papilas gustativas? Mejor no reclamar algo que no eres.

... naja, der Titel ist vielleicht etwas irreführend. Zum ersten Mal im India Club aufgrund einer Empfehlung eines guten Bekannten. Es war einfach hervorragend. Indisches Essen mal anders, d.h. die Qualität der Zutaten ist exzellent & der Service nahezu einmalig. Neben dem Essen ist ja bekanntlich der Service extrem wichtig, denn was nutzt mir das beste Essen, wenn ich mich nicht wohl fühle. Und hier kommen wir nun auf Denis & sein Team zu sprechen. Es ist eine Freude, dem Team zuzuschauen, mit welchem Spaß & Elan sie bei der Sache sind. Getoppt natürlich von Denis & seinem Esprit & Charme. Jetzt kommt auch die Zitrone ins Spiel, die erst zur Ergänzung der Speisen angepriesen, dann mit leichter Verspätung aufs Spielfeld gebracht wurde ;-) ... Ein tolles Gesamterlebnis & viel Spaß! Und zur Verabschiedung gab es dann noch ein frische Zitrone für den Heimweg!

My fav Indian restaurant in Berlin. Nice food and friendly service. Efforts were made to sell the cocktails, but instead of tissues, cup mats with better quality would be better.

I can recommend this place, but the limitation I made would be that for three times the price you only get twice the performance compared to the expected performance.

Amazing tastes and flavors, very friendly service, great atmosphere, just an awesome experience. Suggested to take the chefs menu as you get samples of many different dishes, good variety and plenty to get you full. Try the Spicy Guave cocktail (non-alcoholic). Will come back when I am in Berlin again!

We ate at India Club for the first time today. Service, quality of the food and the way it was prepared were excellent. We can't remember eating so well in Germany recently - regardless of the type of cuisine. Big compliments to the kitchen and the team, everything was first class. We will come back with our Indian daughter-in-law

We visited there after booking a table for two in short notice which they accepted gladly, we started with some drinks and water, they will welcome u at the door and guide u to your table, their service is pretty fast and they serve you well, they cam speak both german and english and the staff are super friendly. After going through the menu, we noticed the menu on the google maps hasn't been updated for a while and some items have been removed or changed. we ordered their chicken tikka highway as starter with garlic butter naan, lamb botti chilli aloo and buttered chicken as main course with side of cumin rice and their bread platter. They started with 3 chutney like sauces, tamarind based with pumpkin seeds, a green one tasting like cilantro  which was super fresh and a mango one with cloves served with cone shaped crackers. They all tasted nice, as i said, i liked the cilantro tasting one the most. Shortly after came the chicken tikka highway which looked really appetizing, with a side of crushed baked potatoes. Garlic bread came a bit later beside it but the starter was really nice, hint of spiciness(I prefer a bit more but it was germanized of course) and you could feel the tandoor taste within the meat. All pieces were nicely cooked, still juicy and tasted amazing. Lamb botti and buttered chicken came second, we realized we missed our chance to taste their tandoor cooked lamb, and also ordered it. Their bread platter was really nice it had 3 types of naan which all tasted buttery and fresh. Their butter chicken wasn't anything special, it's sweet, non-spicy chicken which was dry even tho it was inside the gravy, and it also tasted a bit gamey and not fresh. We didn't like it. The botti lamb chilli is not spicy at all, it's 2 pieces of lamb fillet cooked somehow medium with sides of vegetable and potatoes. It tasted ok, but it lacked a bit more marination, you could still feel the gameyness the lamb has. After finishing the two, came the lamb seekh from Tandoor which we ordered a bit later. It was much better, nicely designed and tasted nice. Much better than the other two dishes we had, it was also served with a potato salad, using the same cilantro sauce they brought at the beginning, tasing as fresh and nice. To sum it up, we ordered Gulab Jamun and lychee flambé with black chai. Gulab jamun was normal, maybe a bit stale, but as germans say, it could be eaten. The lychee flambe came with a show, and they tried to make it fancy. It was a bit too sweet and tasted better than the gulab jamun, the design was really nice tho. Their tee is not simple black tee, and one is enough for two to enjoy, which they did not hint us when we ordered two. It also has hints of clove, ginger and nutmeg? In it. It comes in a teapot and we should let the tee get ready inside. Overall it was a nice experience, they have made a real nice environment,  friendly staff and normal stuff to expect from a restaurant at their level. The food is a bit too off from what actual indian cuisine is, but still enjoyable. would recommend for something new to try in Berlin.

This is a little wonder right in the historical center of Berlin, located in the premises of the famous Adlon hotel. felt in love with this place independently from the Michelin labeling. Liked the atmosphere and generosity of the staff. We ordered loads of food and drinks. The starters and main course were amazing and their mocktails were also great. The food preparation time was a bit more as compared to other restaurants but probably they want to keep high standards and not rush out food in haste. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable compared to the quality of the service and food. Highly recommend this place if you like the good Indian food! We all enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere. All in all a successful evening and a recommendation.

I treated myself to this Michelin Guide restaurant on my birthday. What I ordered for 120 € including tip : Pindi chhola kulcha Baigan bharta Mushroom rice Raita Garlic butter nan Kulfi Lassi Additional - Water, Papad, chutneys What I loved : 1. Cute staff from different nationalities greeted me with a 'Namastey' 2. The staff was super attentive to what I might need. I didn't have to go to hang my jacket or take it back. They did it. I didn't have to ask for the water to be refilled. They were proactive at it. I loved their etiquettes. 3. Nan was the highlight. I loved chhole Kulchha, mushroom rice, kulfi and Baigan Bharta too. Papad as the starter too. Raita, Lassi were a bit different but nice in its own way. 4. For the first ever time, I felt like the spices were on point in every single dish. 5. The smell of the food was divine. 6. The presentation of the food was so good. 7. I tried atleast 8 dishes and took most of them for home as I couldn't finish it all. Their packaging looked nice. 8. Interior decor was lovely. Music transported me to another time. 9. Guests were also from different nationality. I loved the crowd. The atmosphere. 10. I liked the color of the chickpeas. It looked so authentic. 11. They used fresh herbs and veggues in the dishes. Like coriander leaves, ginger. 12. They blended cardamom in Lassi for extra flavour. These and a lot of other stuff was a rare find. What I didn't like - Nothing. Will I go again? Sure! The food won my heart ❤️ They threw a surprise to me in the end when they learnt that it is my Birthday. But I would have rated them the same even if they didn't do so. That gesture was just unexpected and nice. 😀

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, im India Club in Berlin zu essen, und es war für uns das bisher beste indische Restaurant, das wir in Deutschland besucht haben. Die authentischen Gerichte aus Nordindien waren hervorragend zubereitet, mit einer perfekt abgestimmten Schärfe, die den Geschmack der Speisen wunderbar unterstrich. Wir fühlten uns an die hohe Qualität einiger erstklassiger indischer Restaurants in London erinnert. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Team des Indian Club. Alle Angestellten waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Sie erklärten jedes Gericht geduldig, gaben uns hilfreiche Empfehlungen, auch zu den Portionsgrößen, und sorgten dafür, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlten. Die umfangreiche Weinkarte, die von preiswerten bis hin zu sehr exklusiven Weinen reicht, war ein zusätzliches Highlight. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und entspannt, fast familiär, und das trotz des geschmackvoll gestalteten Restaurantdesigns, das bewusst jeglichen Kitsch vermeidet. Besonders schön war es, mitzuerleben, wie an zwei Tischen Geburtstage gefeiert wurden, was die ohnehin schon einladende und fröhliche Stimmung noch verstärkte Für uns war der Indian Club eine absolute Empfehlung – exzellentes Essen, ein fantastischer Service und eine Atmosphäre, die den Besuch zu etwas Besonderem macht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The vegan menu was absolutely amazing

Dejlig mad og sød servering men det gik alt for hurtigt med serveringerne. Vi startede med en enkelt drink og appetiser. Derefter fik vi deres store menu, hvor vi drak danskvand til. Det hele tog 1 time og 20 minutter, fra vi kom, til vi gik og kostede 240 € for 2 personer. Alle retterne blev samlet i tre serveringer med forret, hovedret og dessert. De tre serveringer kom meget hurtigt efter hinanden, og der var ikke tid mellem retterne til at samle lidt appetit . Det er ingen nydelse at få serveret retterne så hurtigt. Alt i alt en alt for dyr restaurant som slet ikke har det elegante touch som det havde for 3 - 4 år siden.

Vine aquí por el cumpleaños de mi pareja, quería algo que fuera a ser especial y memorable. Desde el momento en que entramos por la puerta el servicio y la atención que recibimos fue increíble, tan acogedor, educado y atento. La decoración y el ambiente del comedor era precioso, la comida era absolutamente excelente tan lleno de sabor, y un saludo a nuestro servidor (creo que su nombre era Mónica) fue excepcional. Sigo usando sinónimos de increíble, pero la noche fue increíble y un maravilloso regalo de cumpleaños, gracias equipo de India Club volveremos.

Für den Anfang, das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. 1. keine Angaben in der Karte auf den Schärfegrad des jeweiligen Gerichts. 2. das Papadam war zwar schön angerichtet jedoch fehlte da jeglicher Geschmack, da kann man auch Mehl essen 3. das Brot triefte nur so von Fett 4. das Mangolassi war viel zu süß und für meinen Geschmack zu wenig Mango-Geschmack 5. kein indischer Tee, warum??? Ein gutes Indisches Restaurant sollte das anbieten Die Hauptgerichte sowie die Desserts waren ganz Ok Für diese Preisklasse und dieses Niveau was dort angepriesen wird habe ich mir weitaus mehr erwartet. Ich war schon bei sehr vielen Indern Deutschlandweit essen, dieser hat mich wirklich enttäuscht. Das Ambiente ist einladend aber dennoch fehlt das indische Flair. Die Stühle sind zwar bequem aber man kann sich nicht anlehnen da man dann immer nach vorn rutscht.

Amazing food, even better staff!

We love eating well in our hometown of Berlin, but also all over the world: India Club surprised us very positively. The entire service was very attentive, very polite and very knowledgeable. The food was really excellent and for us the best Indian cuisine in Berlin. The drinks menu (especially the very good and varied non-alcoholic cocktails) was very convincing. The atmosphere was very pleasant: upscale at the same time not unnecessarily stuffy (much more contemporary than expected). This venue can easily compete with Michelin starred Indian restaurants in London. We will definitely come back very soon.

Updating my review from 5 to 2 stars after a disappointing NYE experience. The food quality was sub-par this time. Starters were undercooked, giving the impression the chef was rushing to get dishes out. I was told the Phoolchakri Murgh was oven-cooked, but it was clearly fried—staff could benefit from better training on the menu. Additionally, their tandoor wasn’t working, so only paranthas were available, which is understandable. However, the paranthas were store-bought frozen and reheated on a skillet, which was quite disappointing given their reputation and pricing. On a positive note, the main course dishes were well-prepared and decor was really good for NYE. This WAS my fav Indian restaurant in Berlin. Old review - Excellent food, superb experience. Lamb rara and tandoori gobhi were amazing. A bit on the pricey side but worth the money.

Wer indische Küche mag is(s)t hier richtig! Aufmerksam geworden durch eine frühere Folge von „Kitchen impossible“ hatten meine Frau und ich beschlossen, hier unseren 20. Hochzeitstag zu verbringen und reservierten Wochen vorher einen Tisch. Überaus aufmerksam und freundlich empfangen wurden wir umgehend zu unserem Platz geleitet. Die Getränkekarte, die eine übersichtliche und erlesene Auswahl enthält, wurde dann umgehend gereicht, Empfehlungen ausgesprochen und das daraufhin Bestellte auch alsbald gebracht. Zu den Getränken kam dann die Speisekarte, ein Prozedere, dass ich als sehr angenehm empfand. Die Karte entsprach der auch online einsehbaren Variante, zusätzlich wurde auf ein verfügbares Menü hingewiesen. Dank der Onlinekarte wussten wir aber schon was wir essen wollten. Womit ich zum Essen kommen möchte, dass übrigens fast so schnell kam, wie es dauert diesen Text zu lesen. Von der Quantität her durchaus reichlich (auch ein Gericht der Kategorie „Starter“ genügt normalerweise zur Sättigung) ist es qualitativ eine echte Offenbahrung! Ich habe in meinen 58 Lebensjahren noch nie so gut indisch gegessen! Es mag vielleicht in London oder auch Nord-Indien noch bessere Köche geben, für Deutschland würde ich darauf aber keine Wette abgeben! Einfach nur lecker! Man fühlt sich hinterher wie ein Buddha: rund und zufrieden! Einen großen Teil zu diesem außergewöhnlichen kulinarischen Erlebnis trägt aber auch der stehts sehr freundliche und bemühte Service und das authentische Ambiente zum gehobenen Erlebnis bei, was mich ebenfalls sehr begeisterte! Was das preisliche Niveau angeht, so fand ich es auch angesichts des quantitativen und qualitativen Niveaus mehr als fair und lässt selbst dem schmaleren Geldbeutel noch Spielraum für ein angemessenes Trinkgeld. Wer im India Club nun selbst ein solches kulinarisches Erlebnis machen möchte, der sollte seinen Tisch beizeiten reservieren, was telefonisch oder über die Website mehr als einfach gelingen sollte. Meine Frau und ich haben uns jedenfalls vorgenommen, den India Club wieder zu besuchen! Sozusagen als guter Vorsatz für 2025…😇

An extraordinary experience at the India Club Berlin Our visit to the India Club Berlin yesterday was a first-class experience that impressed in every respect. As soon as we entered the stylish restaurant, we felt like we had been transported to another world. The elegant, detailed furnishings combine traditional Indian elements with modern luxury and create an atmosphere that is both inviting and exclusive. Service: The service was impeccable. The team were attentive without being intrusive and demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the menu. What was particularly pleasant was the warm manner in which they explained the dishes to us and made recommendations. Food: The menu offers an exceptional selection of authentic Indian dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and great precision. Every dish was a true work of art – both in terms of taste and appearance. Particularly noteworthy are the aromatic curries and the freshly baked naan breads, which perfectly complemented the flavors of the dishes. The vegetarian options were in no way inferior to the meat dishes and showed how diverse and sophisticated Indian cuisine is. We were particularly impressed by the butter chicken, whose creamy texture and finely balanced spices melted in the mouth, and the black tiger prawns with basil were also excellent. Drinks: The drinks at the India Club also deserve special mention. The bartenders conjure up masterful creations that perfectly match the high standard of the cuisine. The Gin Basil Smash in particular was a highlight of the evening - undoubtedly the best we've ever had in Berlin. The freshness of the basil, combined with the fine juniper note of the gin, was a harmonious complement to the intense flavors of the food. The selection of other cocktails, wines and Indian specialty drinks was also impressive and left nothing to be desired. Ambiance: The calm and elegant atmosphere made the evening a pleasure for all the senses. The subtle lighting, the loving table decoration and the wonderful music in the background made us feel completely comfortable. Conclusion: The India Club Berlin is much more than just a restaurant - it is a journey into the culinary world of India that exceeds all expectations. From the sophisticated dishes to the first-class drinks to the welcoming atmosphere, everything was perfect. If you are looking for an extraordinary experience that harmoniously combines tradition and modernity, you should not miss this place. We will definitely come back and can fully recommend the India Club. An evening that will be remembered! 5 out of 5 stars.

Yesterday I wanted to buy a voucher to give as a Christmas gift. The staff's response was that I would have to speak to accounting first...we don't actually sell vouchers anymore. Now I've found it somewhere else.

Went to Indian Club Berlin finally after hearing a lot. Was it worth it? The place and ambience, very nice. The staff, was friendly. When you walk in they take the jackets which is super nice so you do not need to worry while you enjoy your food. Now coming to the menu, we were dictated a chef special menu in a way that was hard to follow, would have been better to have it printed for ease of decision making. Never the less, we decided to order ala carte. The starters were decent. The naan with chole was a no go. Felt more like I was eating regular bread and not naan. The prawns were top notch. Probably the best thing of the entire evening. The paneer jalfrazi in main course was decent but the meat items were dry and comparing it to other Berlin places, the food was average. The portion sizes were big as compared to most of my fine dining experience. We ended up ordering way to much food. Would have been better if the staff advised the food we ordered was a lot for 2. So on a scale of 5, gets like 3 stars for the food as it misses creativity and the experience bit.

Il ristorante si trova nel centro di Berlino vicino alla Porta Brandeburgo. Abbiamo gustato una ottima cena di cucina indiana. Favoloso il piatto con la carne di pollo. Il locale e' arredato con ottimo gusto, i tavoli sono grandi ed il personale particolarmente disponibile e gentile. Tutto curato e bello. Spero di ritornarci.

Interesting and tasty menu, good food and awesome service. My Italian (from Naples) server was very attentive and shared insights about the restaurant and food. Great ambience as well. The tamarind chutney was my fav.

Für ein Dinner (zur Danksagung an ein Orga-Team) haben wir uns für den India Club Berlin entschieden. Zu 20:15 Uhr den Abend mit einem Aperetif gestartet, der warme Empfang ging bereits an der Tür von der Hostess los. Der stellv. Restaurantleiter empfing und herzlich, bediente teilweise persönlich und hat mit seinen Empfehlungen zum Essen, Wein, Champagner ins Schwarze getroffen. Hevorrheben möchte ich den herausragenden Service den wir erhielten. Durchweg alle MItarbeiterInnen waren geschult, freundlich, nett und immer einen Schritt voraus. Empfehlen zur Vorspeise (wir haben fast die gesamte Karte bestellt...) tun wir den Gunpowder Salat und Pindi Chole Kulcha, im Hauptgang Panner Jalfrezi, Baingan Bartha und für die Fleisch Fans jedes Tandoori Gericht.

The standout here really was the service, everyone was so friendly and attentive without being overly so. We had the chefs tasting menu which was very tasty and a huge amount of food. The restaurant itself is also very pretty, so it really ticks all the boxes.

Das Restaurant verspricht mehr, als es halten kann. Ich empfand die Auswahl der Gerichte nicht vielfältig und besonders genug im Vergleich zu den anderen indischen Restaurants anderer Preiskategorie. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nach meiner Meinung nicht. Für ein Gericht mit entsprechenden Beilagen müsste man ca. 30€ zahlen. Von einem solchen Restaurant hätte man nach meiner Einschätzung auch erwarten können, dass der Weißwein korrekt temperiert ist. Stattdessen war er zu warm. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant at all. We were really looking forward to a special evening so we opted for the three course meal, hoping for an upscale experience. However, disappointment quickly followed: The starter arrived on time and was fine, but then the chaos began. We waited over an hour for the main course - in between we were even served warm plates twice and then taken away again without the food coming. We received no answer to our questions or were simply ignored. When the main course finally came, we were no longer hungry and said we didn't want to continue with the menu. However, this request was ignored. My husband tried a bite, but the dish remained mostly untouched because his appetite had simply passed. When we asked the head waiter about the poor service and asked to adjust the bill accordingly, he showed no understanding and didn't even really want to understand the situation. In the end we paid 165 euros for an evening that was anything but nice - for two drinks and an appetizer. The restaurant was anything but customer friendly. We were extremely disappointed by the long waiting time, the disinterest of the staff and the unwillingness to respond to complaints. If you expect an enjoyable, special evening, you should definitely look for another restaurant.

Imagine you are looking for a special evening with someone and are looking for amazing flavors and ambiance. India club Berlon should be on your list in that case. The place offers the perfect coziness for a near-perfect evening, thanks to its perfectly balanced decor and courteous staff, who provide top-grade hospitality. Right from the time you walk in, suggesting their personal favorites, to making sure they are always a short glance away, and to making sure you are offered after-mint, the staff here leaves no stone unturned to ensure you have an amazing time in the restaurant. We started with drinks and ordered the Willy Vodka and Bombay Club Crushed. We were blown away by the fantastic presentation that unfolded in front of us. Next came the main course. We ordered a three-course meal based on recommendations from the staff, and each dish competed with the other in terms of flavor. The Khulcha in the bread basket deserves some special mention here. Last came the Masala chai crème brûlée, and it felt like we had almost dined with the dessert gods! Overall, it is a top-notch place that can nail every time on their menu. A must-visit if you are looking for a particular day flanked by North Indian flavors

Wir kommen gerne und oft. Dassen ist großartig, das Ambiente sehr geschmackvoll, der Service exzellent. Wenn ich Soulfood nach lange. reisen brauche, dann gehts dort hin. Hervorragendes Allergenmanagement!

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal da und wie auch beim ersten Mal war es einfach Klasse. Der herzliche Empfang, das schöne Ambiente, das leckere Essen und der tolle Geruch beim Hereinkommen nach den vielen Gewürzen. Ich freue mich aufs nächste Mal.

Un excellent restaurant indien. Les plats sont parfaits. Le service très souriant et efficace. Les tables sont suffisamment espacées. Les vins sont aussi formidables. Mais tout cela a un prix…

The restaurant exudes a warm ambience. The service is very friendly and attentive from the first to the last moment. There are also vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu and, if possible, dishes are also prepared vegan. In my opinion the price-performance ratio is fair. We'll definitely be back because you won't get such delicious and authentic Indian food anywhere in Berlin.

Once again we were able to enjoy wonderful, cozy hours with great food and extremely attentive service. Everything is so different from the vast majority of Indian restaurants in this country, it costs significantly more, but in our opinion it's worth it.

Increíble comida india en un entorno encantador. Este es realmente un lugar excepcional y las críticas son muy merecidas. El personal es excelente. El restaurante es muy cómodo. Muy buena selección de comida vegetariana y vegana.

Terrible overpriced food. Butter chicken just tough meat in a lame tomato sauce, the salmon with Bratkartoffeln had nothing to do with indian food. Sorry, but it was a funny experience with the Italian staff saying Namaste.

Typical expense restaurant, completely overpriced! The main courses (30 - 40 EUR) come without side dishes, an additional EIGHT euros are charged for bowls of rice. But as we all know, price is the result of supply and demand, obviously it works...

A wonderful authentic Indian restaurant. The food there deserves at least 1 Michelin star. The staff is extremely courteous and focused on the well-being of the guests. I would even give 10 stars for the staff. Unreservedly recommended.

Wonderful Indian food and great service. Ambiance was a little spoiled by loud music from China Club upstairs but it didn’t ruin the experience. Highly recommended!

Namaste old Swede I don't have any pictures of the food because it's not supposed to take photos of the food here, but to enjoy it. We hadn't booked a table, but were nevertheless warmly welcomed and given a table in the middle of the restaurant. The device and wine list arrived promptly and the selection was very large (try the device with tamarind). The main menu is clear and very select. Vegan, vegetarian and meat are all included. First there is Pappadam with three dips and that is amazing. We didn't have a starter and I regret that now. :-( The main courses always change but the lamb and the chicken were full of taste, even the 12!!!! It doesn't get any better.

Amazing food with the right amount of flavours in every bite. We were on a dinner date and really had the best Indian food experience in India Club. All the servers were really friendly and the Manager also gave us a complimentary salad. A must try restaurant in Berlin!!

So my experience at the India Club was without exception positive. The welcome of the house, the lentil chips with various dips, was amazing. Then came the starter - lamb keema with bao bread and poached egg. It was seasoned to the limit - just perfect! The main course - Tawa Chicken Curry, as well. Simply perfect! The chicken was juicy and the sauce was reduced to a very thick mixture, which really enhanced the flavors. Exceptionally good! There was a slight spiciness everywhere, which fit perfectly. I will definitely come back if I'm in Berlin again! Even if the price is really steep... 8 euros for a small beer that isn't even freshly tapped... I don't know, that might be a bit exaggerated. To make it perfect, the Indian beer should also be on tap. As a small suggestion for improvement. Otherwise - everything is just perfect! That was really an experience! The clientele that is there could smile a little more and stuff... but oh well. The India Club can't do anything about that 😅

Best place to enjoy Indian cuisine in Berlin! Comes with a high price tag but trust me each penny spent here is well worth it. Ambiance, service , cutlery everything was very nice! Can definitely recommend going here to celebrate a special occasion!

Have been coming here for the last 7 years, and never disappointed (except when it's too hot, because there is no air-conditioning :) ) . The food is lip smacking good, and unapologetically authentic. My favorites over the year have been chana kulcha, chicken Tikka highway and the black daal. New additions that are truly amazing are keri bhindi (the okra dish) and moongphali aalu (a potato side dish). Don't go here expecting rice with your curries, because that's not the way Indian food is traditionally served- you should be able to choose whether you eat roti or rice.

This was our second visit and it was great again. Great food, nice ambience and above all a very good host who led the evening with a lot of charm. We felt very comfortable because our little daughter was also given a friendly welcome and therefore felt very comfortable.

I honestly don't believe this place is worthy of five stars here or any awards from Michelin (they don't have a star or a Bib anyway in spite of mentioning it on the website). Our experience more than anything was somewhat mediocre. The food was alright, but not mind blowing. The tandoori chicken that was supposedly marinated for 24 hours was dry and tough rather than succulent and juicy. The dal served with it was very nice though. We also enjoyed the drinks and the starters were good. But the real downer was the service. I was never once asked if I wanted another drink and that's during the course of an almost three hour dinner! After we were done with our food, they let all the empty plates sit in front of us for 30 minutes and didn't even ask if we wanted a dessert. Finally we managed to catch the attention of our waitress, and we placed our order. Unfortunately, the desserts were probably the weakest part of our night, not very creative, interesting or tasty. The bill for 7 people was some 580 euros and I felt the value we got for that amount of money does not make it worth it. The experience was not worthy of a fine dining establishment. I don't think I will be coming back.

The service was great and very professional staff. The food was okey, not bad not something amazing, especially if you have tried Indian food in India. The cocktails were nice, the dessert nothing special at all.

This is the most authentic and amazing Indian food I have tasted in Germany! Everything was delicious and the service was great. I had such high expectations and it seems to have cross its boundaries. The drinks we ordered were supreme the mixologist had a great taste and mixing ideas. Will visit again and recommend you too to visit. #bowdowntothechef 💯

I was here some time ago. I definitely agree with everyone that the food is super authentic and nice. I don't think I have had such an authentic Indian kebab outside India in a long time. One or two dishes came close but fell slightly short which is why I am only giving 4 stars to the food, but I think overall it's one of the best places I have found outside India. I do think the prices are a bit high, especially for drinks. This makes it a great place to go to celebrate something but unfortunately I can only enjoy it once a year.

The restaurant is breathtaking. High mirrored ceiling, dark woods, burnt orange, dusty pinks, rich velvet greens and attentive and polite service. The food was melt in the mouth and perfect portion sizes. Cocktails were perfect. I am a British Indian Asian. It is the best Indian food I have ever had the pleasure of tasting, but please don’t tell my mother!

My third visit in a few months to this establishment was disappointing. The room had been disfigured by the arrangement of large tables of eight and 12 people which really made the atmosphere very noisy. The food is still as famous, but the service leaves a little to be desired due to too many guests at the same time, it seems.

We had a reservation and were told they needed the table in 2 hours. They proceeded to bring the menu and take the order very slowly. We asked about items with no cashews and they were not able to accomodate. We had one item we could order. We made a reservation and then were rushed out by the hostess saying she needed the table and really needed the table. I even tried to cancel dessert to accommodate her but the servers said it was okay and said some sit forever but I told her we have people who need to sleep earlier so that’s not our problem. Overall we reduced our tips due to the lack of accommodation and concern as well as being rushed. My dessert even came out with pistachios on it after clearly indicating needing no nuts from the minute we sat down and multiple times in the ordering process. Bad service experience. Food was good enough but I wouldn’t recommend based on being rushed out after spending 430 euro and not being able to select much. I conveyed feedback to the guy who greeted us behind the bar. There was no waiting line or customers and open tables when we left.

80plus euro takeout for two. ordered 5 different plates i would have assumed you guys would throw in white rice (or at least ask me if I needed some). food was good, but eating 5 indian dishes without any rice was just not great. with better service - 5 stars

My husband took me here for our anniversary. We arrived before 5pm but were welcomed in by the staff early in such a wonderful way. The décor is tasteful, attractive and comfortable. Our waiter was attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable. The cocktails are pricy but as they are creative and delicious, the high prices are worth-it. As we had arrived early, the restaurant was empty which was nice. Then, guests slowly started to arrive. I am from London, and we have fantastic Indian restaurants there and the UK in general, and I must say that this is the best Indian restaurant that I have been to in Germany. The food was delicious and vibrant with multi layered flavours; as Indian food should be, not simply an oily stew with a bit of curry powder thrown in, which is what is usually served up and called curry in Germany. We ordered the lamb chop with mint, the garlic naan bread, the fish curry with sticky rice and the royal blood cocktail, gin and tonic and another couple of cocktails. I have a few qualms though: the restaurant was almost empty, and we wanted to have a bit of privacy and not be at the restaurant when it was ram-packed, which is why we booked a table early. The staff though proceeded to seat a family with a baby right next to us when there were over twelve other tables for them to sit at. I have nothing against young families going out for dinner, however, when a child free couple goes out for an anniversary meal and the entire restaurant is almost empty, I really didn’t appreciate them squeezing us all together. It just did not make sense. That was quite annoying to be honest especially since it was a special anniversary meal, so if they could bear the seating in mind and giving guests a bit more space when the restaurant is not full in future, which would be a welcome improvement. I also did not spot any vegan options on the menu, nor could one by wine by the glass which was a shame. Other than that, the service was impeccable, and the little touches really meant a lot to me like them bringing me a handbag hanger without me even asking for it and a member of staff waiting for us with our coats by the door after we paid our bill.

Das Restaurant liegt auf der Rückseite des Adlon Hotels in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Brandenburger Tor und zum Holocaust-Mahnmal. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist angenehm. Die hohen Decken vermitteln ein Gefühl der Großzügigkeit und Eleganz. Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich habe das Restaurant gemeinsam mit einem Freund an einem Mittwochabend im Juni 2024 besucht. Wir haben zunächst einen Aperitif bestellt und anschließend einige Gerichte von der Speisekarte ausgewählt. Das war mehr oder weniger ein Stochern im Nebel, da wir mit den Namen der Gerichte auf der Speisekarte überwiegend nichts anzufangen wussten. Die Erläuterungen des Servicepersonals haben uns nur bedingt weitergeholfen. Die Gerichte, die uns dann serviert wurden, waren durchaus lecker, haben aber letztlich keine Begeisterungsstürme bei uns ausgelöst. Vielleicht ist die indische Küche einfach nicht unser Ding. Die Rechnung belief sich auf 206,- € für zwei Personen. Mit Trinkgeld waren es dann 226,- €. Fazit: Ein Besuch im India Club ist eine interessante kulinarische Erfahrung. Ist man kein Liebhaber der indischen Küche, sollte man die Erwartungen allerdings nicht zu hoch schrauben.

The service was sloppy and embarrassing. The 3-course menu was unfortunately uninspired and was not adapted for food intolerances, even though this was requested 3 days in advance. The price-performance ratio is a complete disaster. To make others ashamed!

The food was good, some dishes were average. Place had not much air circulation for the summer.

Everything was fine. It couldn't be more authentic. This is how I imagine it as a guest. Advised by, probably, the manager, who explains the specialties of Indian cuisine and makes you feel welcome. One of them ordered a dessert and a second set of cutlery was carefully laid out. That's what I call service. The waiter came by every now and then and gave us a drink. Everything went hand in hand and we kept checking from a distance to see whether everything was OK or whether we had any further wishes. This restaurant has its own farm on the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea, where they raise their animals in the highest organic quality. You can't hear anything from outside in the rooms and the volume inside is very pleasant. A highlight if you want to forget the world around you for a moment.

Went to the India Club Berlin for the first time today and had one of the most beautiful restaurant visits of my life. Anyone who enters the India Club will be picked up by the friendly team around Restaurant Manager Denis. He takes care of everything personally with incredible dedication and passion. Every guest spreads an incredible atmosphere and a good mood. And his entire team fits in seamlessly. I hadn't had anything to eat yet and was really excited. Then came the food and what can I say, I have never had a more authentic or better meal here in Germany. What we found particularly great was that you can order everything in the middle of the table and share it with everyone. This is even actively offered and desired. And that’s how I know it from India too. I didn't expect this from a Michelin restaurant. What remained was a fantastic evening with fantastic food. Cocktails that were an experience and service that I have never received before. I have never felt so comfortable. And the interior does its part to round things off. I will always come to you now, thank you for this fantastic evening.
