Imbiss Shanghai in Ilmenau

We had to wait here because other Asian snack bars were closed. There were no fresh vegetables in the peanut sauce, nor any flavor at all. Only the fried meat was good. It had a temperature of max. 7⁰ inside, not at all suitable for lingering, and not even remotely inviting. Will probably be our last visit

That's just my taste, others might not like it that much. Everyone should decide for themselves whether they like it. I like it...

Sorry, but the food, let's say, needs a lot of improvement. You go to the snack bar in good spirits because the outside promise says that original Thai food is being cooked. Then you see canned asparagus and canned mushrooms being mixed with chicken in buckets and lots of glutamate to get something usable. In other cities there are similar dishes with a similar price-performance ratio but with fresh asparagus and mushrooms. Also, I was in Thailand two weeks ago and that has nothing to do with this food. You don't want to throw it away, but you get a stomach ache from the glutamate. Just a shame.

Today's chicken with curry that I ordered was definitely happier alive than ending up in this wok. In addition to overcooked vegetables and bad rice, the ambience of a Dixi toilet was not far away. There was a decent meal for little money.

The food was ready relatively quickly and was cheap, but we also ran out of food relatively quickly after the toilet door was left open several times despite complaints and a smell of the train station toilet came out. The food was just okay, there were some inedible sounds in the Peking soup and the prices for drinks were absolutely exorbitant. 2€ for a small bottle that doesn't even cost 1€ in Kaufland. No recommendations.

I give it a well-intentioned 3 stars because the food is freshly prepared. I had chicken soup and chicken chop suey. Quality is rather lower middle class. No sophistication and the freshness of the dishes was somehow missing. Ambiance in the restaurant/snack bar urgently needs to be renewed. No place to feel comfortable. Price/performance doesn't fit. I won't go to the snack bar again.

I'm amazed that the snack bar is still there. We were never served particularly friendly and the food was average at best. Recently I ate the worst fried noodles of my life, and that was the final straw...

Very friendly staff, unfortunately the quality of the food is poor. Baked chicken with rice and vegetables 10 euros. Plus, even my dog ​​didn't want to eat the meat 👎 I ordered the same thing from Asia Wok on Weimarer Straße. The difference is insane.

Food is great but you always get dirty looks when you buy something that isn't that expensive

Got fried rice from the place. Reis mit Gemüse. Cost five Euros, and we're fresh and tasty. Were not too salty. The service was quite good as well.

Absolut Mega. Da können sich die Möchtegernrestaurants warm anschnallen. Da bin ich lieber im Imbiss und esse gut als im Mekong😉 Danke für das tolle Essen

Das Essen ist nicht schlecht, die Qualität und Quantität war jedoch vor einiger Zeit besser. Schade

Nudeln mit Hähnchen und Gemüse (6€) war nach 1 Minute fertig. Essen war dementsprechent nur lauwarm. "Gemüse" ist nur sporadisch zu finden. Man kann es essen, aber perfekt ist anders.

Geschmacklich ok, aber ganz schön teuer. Eine simple Nudelpfanne mit Hühnchen, bisschen Möhre, Sprossen und Röstzwiebeln für 6€ finde ich happig.

Das Essen schmeckt hier echt am Besten.

Das Essen ist lecker und die Preise okay.

Die Qualität dieses Imbisses hat leider sehr nachgelassen. Vor ein paar Jahren haben wir hier sehr gerne unsere asiatischen Gerichte mitgenommen und es gehörte sogar zu einer der ersten Anlaufstellen wenn man Lust auf Ente/Nudeln hatte. Jetzt ist es hier meiner Meinung nach geschmacklich nurnoch okay. Aufjedenfall nicht der beste Asiate in Ilmenau, aber im Vergleich zu früher leider sehr Schade.

Leckeres, sehr schnell und immer frisch zubereitet. Qualität immer gleich gut. Leider für einen " Imbiss" nicht ganz so billig. Gaststättenpreise. Aber im großen und ganzen Gut

Essen ist eine Katastrophe nie wieder!!! Kein Geschmack man sollte vielleicht auch mal abschmecken!

An diesem Ort, kann man schnell gutes Essen bestellen oder mit nach Hause nehmen.

Essen schmeckt sehr gut und ist auch reichlich, man kann alle Speisen auch mitnehmen. Das Personal ist freundlich. Vor dem Haus kann man auch gut parken. Der Eingang ist nicht ganz Barrierefrei. Drei Stufen hoch... Ansonsten kann ich den Imbiss gut empfehlen.
