Unfortunately I didn't like the currywurst at all. But tastes are different. The fries were okay.

We ate a bratwurst and a currywurst here yesterday. My husband really enjoyed the bratwurst. And I've never, really never had such a good currywurst! First: there is a real currywurst - and not bratwurst or Krakauer as "currywurst" Secondly: great curry sauce - great taste, good spiciness Thirdly: there is also a small, freshly baked roll - awesome! We used it to clean up every last bit of the curry sauce 😊 The service was also good, it was quick. We will definitely be back!

Very unfriendly and snotty. We were given ancient fries that had been fried several times and mentioned this in a friendly manner after trying them. The money was then given back to us without a word and the fries were snatched out of our hands. So we were forced to spend our money at a fast food chain around the corner - a shame!

Unfriendly not particularly clean

The food is excellent, but the older gentleman should leave his unfriendly tone at home. You can't beat the disrespect.

Not much going on on Thursday evening. It was quick. We didn't ask for the currywurst with rolls, we just decided. Bread roll? That wasn't a bun, it was a disaster! Too small and way too crispy. A currywurst needs a proper bun so that you can take the sauce out of the bowl at the end. Staff could be friendlier! No hello or thank you. It's a shame, price €4.50 would be ok if the roll was a normal size.

A friend of mine recommended a visit here and so we spontaneously went there. I wasn't the only one who was pretty disappointed. We both had currywurst fries. The sausage was ok. But the sauce tasted bland and didn't really taste like curry. Seemed a bit like an industrial product. The fries were okay, but a tiny bit very salty. Service staff were a little grumpy and not all that friendly, but that's probably how you have to be in the neighborhood. To be honest, I've had much better currywursts during my visits to Berlin than here in my hometown. It's a shame, really.

We were served quickly and had almost no waiting time. The ham sausage was okay but the spicy character was missing. What was also missing was the ketchup, which was no longer available. Still a good way to quickly strengthen yourself.

Fast service. Food very authentic and tasted just as we imagined, but the roll could have been left in the oven a little longer, it was too light/raw for us. No card payment possible, only cash payment. The daytime visit was clean and well maintained. Don't know what it looks like in the evening.

We were at this snack bar by chance - unfortunately we didn't like it at all, for us the bratwurst lacked spices, so we found the sausage to be bland in terms of taste - For us, the fries were not completely cooked through or had already been pre-baked - the ketchup tasted like warmed curry ketchup - In my opinion there was a lot of salt on the fries - the table was not wiped - little mayo - Prices are perfectly fine - Staff was friendly - Wheelchair accessible

A cult joint in the middle of the Reeperbahn, the Krakauer is delicious as always, the employees are very friendly both at lunchtime and at night, and they're always ready for jokes. That's exactly what I came here as a tourist, the most important stopover for me in the neighborhood!

For me there is the best currywurst in the world. Every time I'm in Hamburg it's a must visit. The ambience in the middle of the Reeperbahn and with the intrusive neon signs is simply cult and that's exactly how it should stay.

The shop was clean. We were served quickly. Unfortunately the sausages were no longer fresh. They had been on the grill for a long time. The employee took each of our orders very rudely and commented on it. There were seven of us and we each ate at least two bratwursts. Nevertheless, the seller commented negatively on everything and made us feel like we were bothering us.

Currywurst tastes greasy and this taste lasts for a long time. The service is unfriendly and arrogant, that's not possible! They only survive because of their locational advantage.

Actually a chip shop like any other, only more frequented and, for my taste, far from what could be described as cult. The reason for the visit: a desired snack after a 12-hour shift. The result: fault-free, standardized goods and apathetic-looking salespeople under bright neon lighting amidst huge demand, even at an advanced hour. Why all the fuss surrounding the alleged cult remained unclear. Bottom line: a pleasure that was possible but avoidable. A tip: anyone who carelessly approaches from the neighboring Davidstrasse runs the risk of being "hit on" in a cheeky, sometimes hands-on manner by the young ladies stationed here who practice the oldest trade in the world. So: if you're on Davidstrasse, please come from the opposite side of the police station.

I asked if you could put the bun for the bratwurst on the grill again beforehand. I don't like biting into a stuffy, dry roll. Like most people on this planet. The answer I got was a clear no. - the rolls are good as they are. If you don't like it then you can leave - okay, that's what I did. So no recommendation here.

The worst currywurst fries I've ever had. Curryking's sausage for warming up is much better. The fries were already ready and were just warmed up again. Thank you never again!

The sausages are definitely recommended for a snack. I wouldn't even give the meatball to the rats to eat... one side completely charred and hard. Zero taste... and if you're looking for a bad mood, all you have to do is look at the sellers' faces. If you're looking for a smile, look at your bratwurst, it's more likely to smile at you.

The Roster isn't served in a roll, as usual, but - like a sausage - next to it! Biggest culinary culture shock ever! The guy smoking in the back room and silently observing everything gives the place a certain Kaurismäki film charm.

Staff a disaster, unfriendly and this is no longer standard in the neighborhood today. In addition, the food was inedible and a disgrace for the price. Rolls very small and you should usually get your sausage in there and the sausage is rather low quality in my opinion. I immediately know 20 shops where I eat better and receive friendlier service. Never again in this store.

What an important place at a late hour. However, the three gentlemen were quick, friendly and relaxed at the same time. The fries were fresh and the portion size was perfect.

The snack bar is basically in the middle of the pulsating life of the Reeperbahn, so there can be a lot of crowds (depending on the time of day and night). There are various types of sausage (e.g. Bratwurst, Krakauer, Currywurst) and you can choose between two sizes. The large bratwurst with bun, for example, costs 4.30 euros (large Krakauer as well). The bun is small but warm and crunchy. The sausage comes fresh from the grill and can be very hot under certain circumstances (so be careful when biting into it). The waiting time is short and you are served quickly. You can enjoy your snack with a view of the Reeperbahn clubs and the Davidwache (police station). There are toilets at the back of the diner which are surprisingly very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a clean toilet on the Reeperbahn, you should go here.

Unfortunately the sauce from the currywurst wasn't really tasty... I'm sure you'll find a better one!! Employees top!

Unfortunately the portion of fries was a bit small

We ate a bratwurst and a Krakauer in a roll. We just liked the sausages and didn't taste like anything. Unfortunately there was only mustard left. Staff was nice and friendly. The restaurant has real Reeperbahn flair and is practically cult. But we still wouldn't eat there again.

Watch out what the crew pays you back. Just payed a 3,50€ portion with 5 and got 0,50 back. After a while when I asked 1 € more was returned without questionig so that was done for purpose. Happened 10 minutes ago so maybe your HR can react.

Well, the currywurst is just run of the mill. Same with the curry sauce. Fries were okay but far too few. The price is completely justified. You can eat it, but nothing more. We definitely won't come again.

Catastrophe! Meatball of horror. Fries were okay and currywurst tasted weird too. Based on the crowds, we thought the food must be good. The conclusion was that around 15 euros were absolutely wasted!

The food is a disaster. I had a meatball that had probably been under the fridge for a few weeks and it didn't tip over. Even my little daughter likes the currywurst fries better. Very very bad.. If you couldn't give any stars for the food here on Google, everything would be said!!!!!

Seit Jahren mal wieder beim Lucullus gewesen. Samstag, 1 Uhr in der Nacht. Tja, was soll man sagen? Das Ensemble hinter dem Tresen, bestehend aus Rentnern vom Kiez (nicht abwertend, sondern eher positiv gemeint) waren völlig überfordert, Schweiß tropfte von der Stirn, wodurch die Herren in einen monopolistischen Befehlston verfielen und jegliche Anmerkungen seitens des Königs (Der Gast) stante pede torpediert wurden. Soll heißen Unfreundlichkeit in ihrer ursprünglichsten Form. Die von mir bestellte Krakauer war ok...mehr aber auch nicht. An die Currywurst(sauce) traute ich mich aus Gründen nicht heran. Pommes waren mir auch zu gefährlich (Schwarzbraun ist die Haselnuss.) Schade.

Altid et godt og billigt sted at få sin currywurst når man er i Hamburg. Der er desværre bare ingen siddepladser, så man må stå op, stemningen er iorden da det ligger godt centralt.

Beste Wurst in Deutschland lohnt sich immer auf schnelle Welle eine Currywurst mit Pommes für 7.50€ mitzunehmen bevor man in den Bars was trinken geht.

Habe in den letzten zwei Jahren drei mal dort ne Bratwurst gegessen. Alle drei Male war mir ca zwei Stunden später kotzübel. Das kann kein Zufall sein. Könnte es aber natürlich. Keine Ahnung. Nichtsdestotrotz... hat es jedes mal immer erstmal gut geschmeckt. Ansonsten: Beim letzten Besuch waren die beiden Mitarbeiter mehr mit ihrem privatem Gespräch beschäftigt, als die Kunden zu bedienen.

Die Currywurst hat ziemlich nach der 1,50 Pseudo- Currywurst von Penny, Aldi und Co. geschmeckt. Isst man die so in Hamburg? Wenn ja, ist das hart! Die Pommes waren jetzt auch nicht der Knaller! Ergo: guter Standort, eher mäßiger Geschmack!

Bei jedem Hamburg besuch ein muss. Die Bouletten einfach mega lecker.

Glückauf Egal was man dort bestellt , ob Pommes oder eine Krakauer oder ein Frikadellen Brötchen ganz egal ,alles schmeckt dort wirklich gut. Der Imbiss ist so zu sagen mitten im Geschehen, daher sind die Preise echt noch human. Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist dort wirklich top. Von der Qualität bzw vom geschmacklichen war alles lecker. Die Mitarbeiter alle nett ,fleißig und zügig. Wer mal dort ist sollte auf jeden Fall mal vorbeischauen und ausprobieren. Macht weiter so.

Für den nächtlichen Snack auf der Kieztour ausreichend. Sicher nicht der beste Imbiss, aber erfüllt seinen Zweck. Geschmacklich insgesamt in Ordnung.

The most delicious Bratwurst I've ever tasted in Hamburg on street Reeperbahn. Perfect for a quick tourist snack in Hamburg.

Die Pommes waren schwierig, die Mayonnaise war lecker und sehr reichlich. Allerdings war der Verkäufer so gruselig und unfreundlich, dass es schon fast wieder sympathisch war.

Salchichas alemanas a 4 - 3.5 euros. Con su pancito. Fácil se puede comprar una cerveza de 1 euro en el super de al lado y comer una salchicha en este lugar . Salva el estómago

Die Currywurst ist der Hit. Brötchen beilage nicht genießbar.

Ein Muß auf der Reeperbahn, auch wenn es nur die "Currywurst -Bude" an der Ecke ist. Empfehlenswert ist die Lukullus Currywurst.

Die Krakauer Wurst war lecker, Brötchen leider nur günstige Aufbackware, für einen Snack zu später Stunde aber trotzdem zu empfehlen.

Imbiss direkt auf der Reeperbahn. Bratwurst mit Brötchen liegt bei 3,50€, Currywurst mit Brötchen bei 4,50€. Senf kannst du selber dosieren. Ein Stehtisch stand draußen. Etwas für den schnellen Hunger mit Kiez Atmosphäre. Kann man mal machen 😃

Colle Leute hinter der Theke. Ambiente.... ist eben doch die Reeperbahn. 😂
