A culinary experience for young and old This week we ended up on the podium in Aalen twice - and for good reason. The restaurant impresses with a clear but completely sufficient menu that has something for every taste. Particularly noteworthy are the homemade lemonades, which are not only refreshing but also excellent in terms of taste. The ambience is stylish and inviting, so you feel comfortable right from the start. Another big plus point: the waiting times for food are pleasantly short – even when the restaurant is full. And when the food arrives, it impresses across the board with its harmonious flavors and high quality. The service also deserves praise: the staff is friendly, attentive and flexible - even in stressful moments. Overall, Podium Aalen is a perfect address for young and old, be it for a relaxed meal with friends or a special evening with the family. We'd love to come back!

Reserviert auf 11.30 Uhr, war das Wirtshaus 5 vor halb 12 Uhr noch geschlossen, wurde aber gleich darauf geöffnet. Wir wurden an unseren Tisch gebracht, eine kleine gemütliche Nische mit Bank, Tisch und 2 Stühlen. Da mich die Blase nach der Anreise drückte, war mein Gang zur Toilette zwingend nötig. Doch Überraschung, Herrentoilette...der Boden verschmutzt, die Sitzschüssel verschmutzt, ebenso die Urinale. Der Behälter mit benutzten Papierhandtücher quoll über. Also hatte heute keine Reinigung stattgefunden. Wir saßen der Schwingtür zur Küche gegenüber, so dass wir immer wieder einen kurzen Blick hineinwerfen konnten, doch Überraschung....auch hier war der Boden verschmutzt, es lagen direkt hinter der Türe einige Pommes auf dem Boden. Unter einem Regal gleich daneben steht ein Hundenapf, ob leer oder voll war leider nicht zu erkennen. Das Essen selbst war reichlich und geschmacklich gut.

It's a cheap overnight stay. The shower and toilet are in the hallway, and there's a sink in the room. It's very noisy. It's very simple: a bed, a closet, a table, and a TV.

A very nice place. The Italian buffet is wonderful, the hostess is very nice and warm. Always my pleasure
