Ok, there are a lot of negative reviews here as well as positive ones. The location with a beautiful view of the Elbe, Königstein Fortress and Lilienstein is definitely positive. The location itself is also really cool and the food truck is impressive. The service, at least for me, was nice, if a little overwhelmed, even though there was nothing going on. The prices aren't cheap, but that's not surprising since the bike path goes right there. The quality of the food is like that. The bratwurst was tasty, but the bun had to be replaced because it was hard. The pizza was ok, but not particularly large and, at 13 euros, quite expensive considering that it wasn't freshly made but came from the freezer. All in all, the snack bar is ok, but you shouldn't expect too much from the food.

Like every restaurant/snack bar, this little stand stands and falls with the staff present there. We stayed at the adjacent camper site for 2 days. My daughter and I ate half the menu over time and none of it was bad. On the contrary, the fries were the best we've had in a snack bar in years. Bratwurst was okay, the frozen pizza was even of very good quality. There is also draft beer and all sorts of sweet things from sushi, soft ice cream, waffles to apple strudel. The prices are perhaps a bit too expensive, I paid 20 euros for coffee and 3 sandwiches at the bakery in the village, which I found rather cheeky. Despite the sometimes heavy crowds, the lady who worked there was always friendly and easy to joke around with.

Insanely great place with a beautiful view! But catastrophically unfriendly and overwhelmed service. Frozen pizza for 12 euros. Just keep driving...

The owner is extremely unfriendly and his private photos with old German lettering that he has hung inside the food truck give a strange atmosphere. The music is bad and way too loud, even on the back benches you can't escape it. It's a shame, because the view of the Elbe is actually so beautiful! The fries and currywurst were cold and sticky. Selling the warmed frozen pizza for €13 is also very cheeky. Never again!

There were no fries, frozen pizza, currywurst is just a small bratwurst, pretty high prices for what was on offer

First of all, the service is completely incompetent (probably incontinent). After a long bike ride we wanted 2 delicious cocktails (a Mojito and a Cuba Libre after he had no idea how to make a Caipirinha even though it was a flyer on the wall), but we got 2 bland drinks that were undrinkable. We actually wanted a FRESH pizza too, but after we saw that he had picked up cheap frozen pizza (for up to €16!!!!!!), we decided against it. The ambience was still nice, with a view of the Elbe and pleasant music. Still definitely not recommended!!

I ordered a currywurst with a roll. It was the worst I've eaten in 10 years. I think it was a bratwurst from the morning. Fried black on one side and dried completely. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of them. The last piece of dirt that the operator sells. That would be good for hygiene. Since this isn't the first time that guests with the same experiences have to exchange ideas, someone has to speak out. So not recommended.

Well, we had a drink there but nothing more. Horrible music that was blaring loudly from the loudspeaker. Behind the counter there was a guy who probably wanted to be funny but somehow wasn't. No relaxation, no ambience although the place itself invites you to linger. A pity…

Unfortunately we were disappointed here too. We ordered 3 fries AND a currywurst with fries. Get 2 fries and 1 currywurst with fries. Well, after we explained that we would like another fries, we got them too. One portion was completely cold. The currywurst seems to have come straight from the packaging to the plate. It was completely cold and not a piece was fried. I know the “curry sauce” too well, we have it at home, also known as curry ketchup, in a large bottle. The only positive thing here is actually the view of the Elbe. What a pity. You could really make something nice out of this location.

We wanted to go out for a stone oven pizza yesterday. We ordered some and he came with frozen pizza. Back on the flyer everything says fresh. I said I thought they made the pizzas themselves. He then said Do you want to discuss things here now? Prices for a pizza up to €16

I have no idea where the bad reviews come from! A nice snack! Better than the "restaurant" at the neighboring campsite!

Unfriendly and arrogant, unfortunately. Probably not even the owner, the gentleman in the food truck, but just a "cashier" Never again.

We didn't eat anything here but got a super tasty (like in Italy) Aperol Spritz from a very nice and cheerful gentleman in the truck.. We can only recommend the place..:-)

Very friendly service even late in the evening. Different types of beer, including cocktails (although I can't judge them). Great ambience! The only bar in Königstein that is still open...

Very tasty and good prices. Sit very comfortably and you have a beautiful view of the Königsstein Fortress.

Great snack bar right on the Elbe, lots of seating that invites you to linger. Food and drinks, freshly tapped beer. Everything was great, it was the second time we were there. You can only recommend this place.

We were here for the first time today. 2x waffles 1x ice cream. Everything was prepared to our satisfaction as quickly as possible. The staff was friendly and responded to my daughter's special requests. We cannot understand the negative reviews here.

Pleasant sitting by the water with a view of Königstein, nice gentleman, excellent beer and fast food. Clean toilets, pizza, bradwurst and more.

Nice little snack bar right on the Elbe cycle path. Great view, a wide range of offerings and friendly staff - opportunity for hikers or cyclists to stop off... A small point of criticism, the waiting time was a bit long, even though there wasn't actually much going on... but maybe the whole thing still has to settle in for the new season. 😉

Super nice place that invites you to linger. It definitely looks beautiful there when the sun is shining. The service is unfriendly and impolite. The prices are cheeky. Not a nice word, it has to do with her cell phone. She could hear the guests talking about me, among other things. It urgently needs to be replaced. The food is okay. But how much value is placed on a review is shown by the fact that the operator does not comment on it.

Stopped in today after our hike and were very surprised at the unsettled service. I ordered a Mai Thai cocktail, what I got was simply underground🤮. I wonder if trained staff even work there😡. Afterwards we decided to play a round of mini golf on the grounds. That was also an absolute failure. Incidentally, the price per person of €6 is quite excessive for the following list of grievances. The tracks are completely desolate, dirty and generally in poor condition, so the joy of playing quickly disappeared. There was also no broom to be found for sweeping the tracks. All in all, we absolutely cannot recommend this location👎🏻. Just a waste of money!!! The people who work there should finally take it to heart, the majority of the reviews say it all🤬It's just cheeky to take money out of guests' pockets like that.

Not realizing the confusion we would create, we ordered one of the cocktails on offer. The lady in the kiosk said straight away that she was a diner and had never made a cocktail before. The ingredients were prominently featured in the advertising for it. So she started mixing, not without cursing at her boss. That's certainly not what you want to hear as a guest. In the end the ginger beer was missing and we should now say what she could use instead.... You can only leave there and never return there again. Nice place to do a stop when riding your bike. Food and drinks of okay quality and not cheap. But is spacious, and you have a nice view.

Pěkné prostředí. Přišlo mi, že jsme obsluze byli na obtíž. Jídlo, pití v pohodě, jen vypadalo trochu jinak než na reklamním poutači před občerstvením.

Super nette Leute. Wird so einiges Möglich gemacht auch wenn man mal was später kommt. Haben mit dem Wohnmobil da gestanden. Halten gern mal wieder an. Danke Micha👍👍👍

Bier und Bocki okay. Pommes pappisch und kalt, Currywurst mit aufgewärmten Curryketchup. Dafür zu teuer. Schöner Blick auf eine und Festung.

Preis-Leistung stimmen nicht. TK und Essen aus der Mikrowelle zu hohen Preisen. Öffnungszeiten hängen gefühlt von der Laune der Bedienung ab. Lage direkt an der Elbe ist prima.

Einfacher Imbiss mit tollem Blick auf die Festung. Für die Region noch vernünftige Preise.

Ideal für einen Stop auf Deiner Radtour. Moderate Preise und Blick auf Elbe und Festung Königstein. Alles auf Selbstbedienungsbasis was aber kein Problem ist. Betreiber sind entspannt und freundlich. Ich mag die Liegestühle in der ersten Reihe mit direktem Blick ins Elbtal.
