Leckeres Essen und sehr netter Service. Zu den Zimmern kann ich nichts sagen, ich war nur spontan an einem Sonntag zum Mittagessen dort.

freundlicher service und sehr gute lokale küche. wir hatten schnitzel und gulasch, super frisch und mit guten zutaten. wir saßen im überdachten hof sehr gut und wurden prompt bedient.

Wir waren nach einem anstrengenden Ausbildungs-Wochenende im Amtshof. Eine sehr freundliche Bedienung (Chefin?). Das Essen ist von hoher Qualität und die Preise vernünftig. Das angebotene Kellerbier ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Der nächste Festungsbesuch wird wieder im Amtshof enden. Danke.

Wir waren hier essen. Gut bürgerliche, rustikale Küche. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und wir sind richtig satt geworden.

Steak Au Four, mein Leibgericht,lecker zubereitet,hier hat es mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Und auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Restaurant gemütlich und mitten in der Stadt. Günstig am Bahnhof zur S-Bahn nach Dresden oder Tschechien. Zimmer haben wir nicht gebucht,wir kommen bestimmt gern wieder. 🌞🤗🌞🤗🌞

Waren mit einer 4 Köpfigen Familie heute Abend da essen. Das Essen war super lecker, es gab den Festungsteller, Schweinegulasch und Jägerschnitzel. Alles war sehr lecker und geschmacklich super. Der Service war sehr freundlich und nett. Preislich war ich sehr positiv überrascht. Immer wieder gerne. Absolute Empfehlung.

Gestern habe ich in diesem Gasthaus Pilze mit Kartoffelbrei gegessen. Diese waren sehr geschmacklos und fade. Sie schmeckten wie Pilze aus dem Glas ohne interessante Würzung. Der Beilagensalat hatte nur Bestandteile aus der Dose. Dies waren Mais, Kidneybohnen und grüne Bohnen. Ich habe schon lang nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen.

Waren zweimal dort essen. Reservierung ist empfohlen. Vermute wegen der guten Qualität im Service und der Küche. Kamen auf Empfehlung. Wir als Ortsfremde suchten ein Lokal in dem wir regionale Küche bekommen konnten. Es schmeckte wie zu Haus von Muttern. Der Sauerbraten mit Rosinen, Rotkohl und Knödel war üppig, lag aber nicht schwer im Magen. Wer die Knoblauchcreme-Suppe vorweg nicht nimmt, ist selbst schuld ;-). Portionen grundsätzlich nicht zu klein. Preis-Leistung-Menge mehr als stimmig. Parken hinter dem Haus möglich.

Wir waren vor 5 Jahre schon mal hier, deshalb haben wir die Gaststätte wieder aufgesucht! Netter und freundlicher Service, Ausgewogene. Speisekarte, sowie Ortsübliche Preise.

Cozy accommodation in a prime location. Our room was small and functionally furnished, but very cozy, with a fantastic view of the festival and the (public) Bible Garden across the street. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. Absolutely everything (Edeka supermarket, train station, bus to the festival, etc.) is within a few minutes' walk. People sensitive to noise might want to bring some earplugs, as the railway line and road run right past the hotel; it didn't bother us. Very friendly service, a good breakfast, and all at an excellent price/performance ratio. An absolute favorite if we ever return to the area.

The day before, I made a special request for beef tongue. The next day, I received a very friendly welcome! Everything was prepared, and I was able to express my special requests, which were fulfilled without hesitation! Sure, it's not exactly modern inside or out, but let's be honest, as long as the hygiene is good, the food tastes good, and you receive a friendly welcome, the rest is just secondary. You shouldn't always be so dazzled.

Not recommended! If you like small portions with hair in your food, this is the place for you. Inflexible, and the arguments are questionable. It took my appetite away. I still had to pay the full price... First time, last time!

We went for lunch. The food was okay, solid, home-style cooking.

We booked at Amtshof rather late, but we got a small room at a decent price, close to Königstein Castle. The staff were really kind and helpful, they managed our late arrival at our check-in day, and we could leave our backpack at some place on the last day, while we were exploring nearby sights. Our room was in the attic, though, and unfortunately we often bumped our heads in the sloped ceiling. Some lights were missing or not operational, and one mattress in a double bed was 10 cm smaller than the other one (and my partner's leg). Otherwise the room was very clean and tidy.

We had dinner at the restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic, delicious, reasonably priced, and plentiful. The server was super friendly and attentive, thank you very much 👍 We had a lovely meal on the terrace. We definitely recommend it! 😃

The Amtshof is a lovely restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. The prices are affordable, and the menu has something for everyone. We can't comment on the guesthouse, as we only stayed for lunch. We would love to come back. Many thanks to the entire team.

Staying at a nearby place, we were looking for a restaurant to grab a bite. We found this place on maps and decided to walk by and see if there was any place and they did! We ordered a stew and a schnitzel, which both were very tasty. It was a great meal to end the day for an affordable price too. Definitely recommend!

Luckily, we were able to snag a nice seat in the winter garden, even though the restaurant was packed. The menu's extensive selection of home-style cooking was a challenge. The four of us all ordered something different, and every dish was delicious. The portions were generous and beautifully presented. Later that evening, we were even enticed to join in the singing. Due to the weather, we were even given a shuttle back to the campsite. We were very impressed by the hospitality. We'd love to come back and highly recommend the Amtshof. Thank you for the delicious food and the lovely evening!

We stopped in spontaneously for dinner. The goulash was delicious, but it was difficult to choose among the many classic Saxon dishes. The service was prompt and friendly in the beer garden or in the dining room. We'd gladly return.

Cozy restaurant run by the fourth generation. Excellent, regional cuisine with many great dishes on the menu! There's also a lot of (n)ostalgia with "Karlsbaderschnitte", "Würzfleisch", "Steak au four" and "Swedish ice cream sundae". All dishes are really freshly cooked and at a reasonable price-performance ratio. Friendly and attentive service. Lighting in the courtyard could be "spruced up" a little! Quaint inn, very well-kept dining room, extremely affordable drink prices, fast service and really delicious food at reasonable prices. I don't know if I've ever had such delicious fried liver, so really fantastic.

We went to this place basically because it is the place that says it closes at 10 pm, since all the other places in town close at 9 pm. We arrived at 8 pm and sat down for dinner, he brought us letters in German and 5 minutes later he brought us a letter in English. Shortly after, he came to take our order and we still weren't clear on it and he told us that there weren't five minutes, that we either asked for it or nothing. The menu in English and German was not the same so there were beers that were not there, there was already a disastrous deal to order the two beers, forcing us to drink the beer he wanted. Afterwards we ordered two meat dishes, terrible quality of the meat. Basically, I deal with terrible service and low food quality. I do not recommend it.

We spent the weekend here and can only report good things. We reserved a table in the beer garden for the first evening and were not disappointed. The noodle pan and brawn were delicious, the prices were okay. Nice service and nice hosts. We'd love to come back.

The service and the food is great. I visited this restaurant quite a few times. (There aren't too many options in Königstein.) I would definitely visit again.

We were looking for a place to eat after our visit to Koenigstein Fortress, and this was perfect. They were open on Sunday till 2 pm. Great friendly service and delicious German food. I recommend the jagersnitzel.

Canned food. Not a single dish on the menu is homemade. Nevertheless, we wait an hour for our food. The crowning glory is the salad plate. Consisting of enormous portions of preserved vegetables with a wonderful uniform taste without a single lettuce leaf. A culinary adventure, absolutely not recommended, there are some snack bars that offer better cuisine.

Referring to Ms. Lena Schell's review, I would like to point out that we at the Amthof in Königstein, Saxon Switzerland, have never offered evening buffets. I don't know where this family ate, at least not with us. We have for decades a la cart shop.

I am at a loss for words! When we arrived late, we were happy that we could still eat something. As soon as we entered, we were first informed that it was a buffet for 22 euros per person and that our two children would count as one person. All well and good, the rating is 22 euros. O. - but not when I saw the buffet: cold, soggy, watery, empty... leftover food would be more suitable! But the hammer came: after we had at least a little on our plates and went to the checkout, suddenly 1, 2 and finally 6 employees stood around us and started to explain again that we were basically paying 22 euros for a tray have to - that's how we understood it, so we didn't understand the problem. We were 2 adults and 2 children, although at the beginning she said the kids count as one person...so we had 3 trays, but self-explanatory there were 2 plates on one tray because there were 2 children...the discussion got bigger until I tried to ask again what the problem was and counted the trays out loud...1...2...3... that's 66 euros plus drinks...then it turned out they only had each other I was surprised because there was so little on the plates and you had to put everything you wanted to eat on it, since a second course at the buffet wasn't possible... I just said that I didn't like eating much more and that was then apparently understandable for everyone involved! Dear all, but having 6 employees surround me and my family just because they were surprised at the small amount of food on my plate was impossible and cheeky...you felt like you had done something wrong. At this point, you could have simply asked directly! End of story: 22 euros for a few potatoes and salad (which looked the most edible) plus attention from what felt like the entire staff. Sorry, but with an experience like this, I can only be sarcastic. I hope the operators make something of such criticism, because it can certainly be built on!

Zu den Zimmern kann ich leider nichts sagen da wir zum Mittagstisch eingekehrt sind. Das Angebot ist groß genau wie die Portionen. Eine Vielfalt an an Fleisch Fisch und Vegetarischen Gerichten sowie vor und Nachspeisen. Das Personal ist auf Zack und freundlich. Und ein ganz großer Vorteil ist man warten keine 20 Minuten auf sein Essen. Einziges Manko war die Raumtemperatur. Gefühlte 17-18° sind doch etwas mager für Ende September. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen...

Es gibt nichts auszusetzen, wir haben lecker gegessen, die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell.

Eine super Adresse egal ob als Tagesgast oder Urlauber. Die Zimmer haben einen nostalgischen Flair. Die Gaststätte ist urisch und gemütlich. Wir fühlen uns dort immer wieder sehr wohl. Die deutsche Küche ist seit Jahren einfach nur geil, sehr lecker. Das Ehepaar die diese Pension betreibt super nett, hilfsbereit bei aufkommenden Fragen. Es ist für uns einfach ein MUSS dort einzukehren wenn wir in Königstein urlauben.

Haben gemütlich Kaffee getrunken

Nach unserer Wanderung von Wehlen auf die Festung Königstein fanden wir hier am Abend ein schönes Plätzchen im Innenhof. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich, gute Hausmannskost, besonders die Klöße schmeckten hervorragend. Die männliche Bedienung war trotz des offensichtlich sehr stressigen Jobs freundlich. Im Innenhof saß man gemütlich wie im Biergarten und auch die Hofkatze schaute neugierig vorbei.

Wir haben heute, an einem Freitag (!) Leider eine bittere Enttäuschung erleben müssen. Letzten Samstag waren wir schon mal hier, es war alles in allem mega lecker und ging Recht schnell. Es war glaube so gegen 20:00/20:15 Uhr. Da haben wir noch was zu essen bekommen und sogar Leute, die 21 Uhr erst kamen, haben noch was zu essen bekommen. Aber heute, ca 20:20 Uhr, war nichts mehr möglich, trotz das gerade noch welche was zu essen bekommen haben. Schade, aber wir werden da nicht mehr einkehren, auch wenn es wirklich lecker war.

Eten houdt wat betreft kwaliteit niet over, matig. Bediening blinkt ook niet uit in vriendelijkheid. Prijsniveau is oké, in de regio beter te krijgen. Binnen ruikt het vooral naar snackbar.

Man sollte hier lieber nicht zu Mittag essen. Nudeln nach Art des Chefs sind ein klebriger Pamps ohne Geschmack. Und erst das Eisbein: trockenes graues Fleisch, Sauerkraut ohne Gewürze und halb angetrocknend usw. 3 mal pfui.

Das große Problem gleich vorweg: Der außen angegebenen Küchenschluss wurde an einem Freitag (!) einfach deutlich vorgezogen. Wir waren zunächst an einem Donnerstag um kurz nach 20 Uhr dort, weil die meisten anderen Restaurants um 21 Uhr schon schließen und daher kein Essen mehr servieren. Hier hatte dies am Donnerstag jedoch noch geklappt, draußen steht Küchenschluss 21:00 und darauf kann man sich ja einstellen. Der Kellner war von der Freundlichkeit her mittelmäßig aber in Ordnung und das Essen hat recht gut geschmeckt, für den Tag gäbe es also 3 von 5 Sternen. Als wir jedoch am Tag danach nach langer Wanderung um 20:30 Uhr wieder dort einkehren wollten, gab es eine böse Überraschung: Die Küche sei leider bereits zu. Gerade da es um die Uhrzeit kaum Alternativen gibt, war es sehr enttäuschend dann hungrig weiterziehen zu müssen (Google kannte im Ort noch genau einen ziemlich teuren Italiener, der noch auf hatte, und da haben wir dann auch was bekommen, trotzdem hing die Enttäuschung weiter nach). Für diesen Abend gibt es also nur den minimalen einen Stern, woraus sich insgesamt die 2 Sterne hier ergeben - wir kommen garantiert nicht wieder.

Food is okay. Nothing special. Nothing bad to say about it either to drag it down, just kind of meh. Would rather try another place next time.

Das Essen war zum wiederholten Male frisch und sehr lecker. Leider hat das Essen gegenüber dem vergangenen Jahr, 2-, Euro mehr gekostet. Dies ist wohl den im Allgemeinen gestiegenen Kosten zuzuordnen. Die Getränke geschmackvoll und gut gekühlt. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend.
