Imbiss bei Oleg in Schweinfurt

Beautiful garden and totally cozy interior in cooler seasons. It is and remains my favorite location in Schweinfurt! As in the last few years (the vineyard is mandatory every time you visit), we ate and drank delicious food in this garden of paradise. There are also interesting conversations with the young owner, who is trying to “rejuvenate” the cozy fireplace interior a bit. In the summer months there is live music in the garden (Andreas Kümmet was also there). Simply "THE PLACE TO BE"!"

Unfortunately, half the menu consists of convenience food. I had a soup with several dumplings, none of which were homemade. The dessert, "nougat dumplings," was also convenience food. Therefore, the price/performance ratio is not appropriate. You could eat at home. However, the chef conjures up a true work of art on the plate – truly beautifully decorated and presented.

The restaurant is right next to the Schweinfurt Art Museum, so it's very close to the city center. We had a table reservation, so we didn't have to wait. The food was very good, especially the vegetable quesidillas. Unfortunately, we had to pre-order our dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy, but you can also sit outside. Highly recommended!

We'd love to come more often, but due to the significantly reduced opening hours and the fact that the restaurant closes at 6 p.m. at the latest, this is unfortunately not possible. Hence only two stars for service.

We were here spontaneously today, I can recommend it. It was great, everything was fresh and delicious!
