Imbiss in Gelnhausen

I order there often, delivery is always extremely quick and the food always tastes good. I'm writing the review now after I forgot the dip with the kebab pizza and after a short time the doorbell rang again to bring an extra dip, even though I neither asked nor expected it! That left a very good impression. At another delivery service in Gelnhausen, I've already forgotten the dip for the kebab pizza twice and I was always put off until the next time.

Closed for months. There are always new signs with strange sayings (currently scheduled to be open again from October 25th, 2024). If open, the opening hours are such that you cannot go there as a working person. On my last visit months ago the food was very poor. Small menu (which I think is good at first), then some dishes are not in stock. What I then received were complete finished products and no work from the kitchen. They were particularly proud of the salad dressing they bought! I can do that better. It's a shame, because it was a great location in Calimero's time.

We love going here, for example it's a dream to go there on Christmas Eve. You feel incredibly comfortable. The food tastes very tasty and the atmosphere is just great. For the next few years, this restaurant will be our save place on Christmas Eve.

Never again! We were there with a group for New Year's Eve dinner. The waiter looked like everything was too much for him the whole evening. No trace of friendliness. There was a limited menu, which is ok on New Year's Eve, unfortunately there was no pizza or salad plates (pizza was only available for pick-up). We ordered different pasta dishes. Prices between €22 and €25. What came looked like appetizers. The mussels inside were the size of peas and would have fit all together in a tablespoon. The taste was delicious, but far too little, almost all of us were still hungry. When we asked the waiter about it, he talked his way out of it. We should have ordered an appetizer and dessert, then we would have been full. But not everyone wants bruschetta with buffalo mozzarella for €16.90. There was no insight, just the other waiter shaking his head several times as he looked at us. We have been to many Italians, but we have never experienced anything like this. By the way, friends at the next table felt the same way. Completely frustrated and still hungry, we left the restaurant without further orders. It's a shame, that's how you scare away your guests. And we will definitely ensure word of mouth.

Very tasty chili garlic chicken and some of the best snack fries ever. I'll definitely come back. I ordered the food so I can't say much about the ambience. But it looks very comfortable from the outside.
